The Slums // Remains of Funland (Vacant)

WELCOME TO FUNLAND! Where dying is always on the menu and the fun never stops screaming! Literally. Screaming everywhere. Like why?
Anyway, funland is a carnival town with all sorts of shops and stalls. Criminals of the clowny type are always found here, and there is always something to blow up. Their are rides here as well, but none of them work because no power, though this can be changed and made back into the horrifying place it still is. You heard me correctly.
(Edit: After Yuri decided to set explosives in Funland, half of it is now just a dusty crater. It goes to say that Funland will never be the same again)

So, apparently--it didn`t occur to either of the pair that they should probably be stopping by Carrion Land before anything else.
Nope--Jo allowed herself to be led by Jack all the way over to Fun Land of all places. She`d become awfully distracted with her surroundings on the way here--and even as she stood at the entrance of the abandoned amusement park--it suddenly had a sense of charm to it, after spending the last few months of her life in a damp cell. She`d been so entirely enamored with Funland that she forgot to respond to Jack for a few seconds--and in that window of time, he`d taken it upon himself to rush toward the nearest ride. Almost absent-mindlessly, she wrapped her arms around herself, not even seeming to take note of the way she shivered violently as she tredded along the snowy surface, ignoring any psychopaths whom peered at her from the shadows. "Dude, totally--is it working? Try pressing some shit--DUDE, HIT IT. HIT IT, BRO. DON`T BE A PUSSY. HIT IT." She chanted, approaching Jack as he sat comfortably in this ride which---would most certainly be his doom, if it actually started. Her bottom lip jutted out as she quickly brushed some snow off the ride, disregarding the clumps of snow that had made home atop her head and shoulders. "This shit`s rank." She decided accordingly, stepping back from the ride. "Let`s find something else to fuck up--"

So, the ride started.
Jo stood where she was as the ride sorta just zoomed backward with Jack still seated, a flicker of envy in her eyes. Er-- eye. Why was she still wearing that eye patch again? She`d---probably feel a bit naked without it, to be honest. Her thoughts lingered on her eye patch for a bit longer before her attention was called again by a loud crash, and--oh---fire. Oh, no. Her eyebrows rose, yet she sort of just found herself glued to the ground. That didn`t look fun. What should she be doing about this---? Gingerly, she took a step forward toward the crash, only for it to erupt into flames. Oh.
But then Jack came back. Cool. She looked up at him, about to open her mouth and say something---when an explosion happened behind him. She promptly turned her back on it, since looking at explosions were for lame people. Which she was not. Once the explosion stopped being a thing, she whirled back toward Jack. "Man, you know what? Fuck this place-- I`ve got a better idea!" Yeah--she wasn`t too keen on the idea of Jack or her ending up on more death-roller coaster things. Not yet, anyway. So, without further ado, she grabbed Jack by the sleeve of his suit, yanking him along with her as she strided out of Funland, gaining the attention of more and more psychos as she waltzed along.

Masaru walked with Mariko through Funland, glancing around warily as they went, trying to locate any possible places that Eve might be being held, while at the same time trying not to attract too much attention from the usual residents of the abandoned park. The goal here was to find Eve fast, get her out of there, and bring her back home. And maybe kill the Holiday Killer and his lackeys, if possible. Still, Masaru wasn't getting his hopes up about that. If this Holiday Killer had been a threat for so long--then he was probably no joke in battle. Fighting him would probably take the whole faction together. So, for now--the main goal was just finding Eve.

Mariko was at Masaru's side as the wandered around the area, but she wasn't holding his hand this time. She was on high alert, tense and anxious as she scanned their surroundings. If someone was there, she was ready... her katana was already clutched tightly in her hand, ready in case someone attacked out of nowhere. You could never trust the shadows, after all... "It doesn't seem like she's here... but there's so many little hiding spots... I wonder if anyone else is having any luck?" she murmured, her voice low as she glanced over towards Masaru for a moment, then away again, forcing herself to remain focused on the buildings and possible other people around them instead of him.

"They probably would have texted us if they'd found her, though..." Masaru sighed as he continued to look around the area. He paused for a moment, then actually stopped walking, looking about the immediate area again. "...I'm getting the feeling that we're being watched...just a hunch..." He murmured, his hand slowly moving towards the pocket where one of his guns was housed at the moment.

Mariko hummed a little under her breath as she keep her eyes open, looking around the area continuously. Masaru's mention of being watched though, only made her tense all the more. "I feel it too... I don't know where though..." She remained tense even after they passed by Jack's spot, moving warily and ready for attack. What was up with this place...? She was just turning to say something to Masaru when Jack ran forward and threw her knife- meaning that luckily, the weapon embedded itself into her left shoulder instead of her back. She still let out a cry of pain though, instantly spinning around to look behind her, raising her katana furiously- only... to see... nobody? She bit her tongue to hold in a growl before reaching up to remove the knife, examining it carefully for any symbols or signs of it's owner. Finding nothing worthwhile, she tossed it away, trying to keep her arm still as she held her katana in front of her and kept her eyes on the area behind them, glaring some as she tried to spot any movement. Whoever was responsible for that- oh, they were going to pay.

"Wh--Mariko!" Masaru exclaimed when he saw Mariko get struck by the knife. He saw that she was majorly alright...but still, he turned, a look of sheer anger on his face as he called out to the area around them. "Alright, whoever just threw a knife at my wife is just ASKING for it--!" He pulled out one of his handguns, holding it at the ready. "Show yourself--!"

Mariko was still trying to find movement from the direction the knife had come from- so when Jack came from a different place, she was a little confused, but turned quickly at the sound of footsteps to see the approaching enemy.
In time to see her kissing her husband.
For a moment, the woman was absolutely still, staring with wide shocked eyes before her expression morphed into one of complete, pure rage. "私はあなたを手にしたときにあなたが生まれたことがないなあとしているので、あなたがクソあなたは、売春婦ができながら走れ！あなたが死んでクソだ！" she shouted, starting to hurry after her- before she stopped and turned to Masaru, grabbing him by the collar and pulling him closer so she could kiss him roughly. "You needed your mouth cleaned," she spat in explanation, before turning and chasing quickly after Jack, planning to literally torture and kill the woman for what she'd done.
Nobody fucks with her husband and gets away with it.

Masaru kind of--froze up as Jack kissed him. And kind of just stared afterwards--then suddenly Mariko was swearing at the woman and then suddenly she was kissing him all angry like anD WOW SO MANY KISSES THIS WAS KIND OF DISORIENTING--
And then Mariko ran off. Masaru stood there for a second, blushing fiercely, trying to re-collect himself. Then, he finally registered the fact that he should be following them.
"H-Hey! Hang on--!"

Atlas looked around then climbed up the side of one wall to the roof of a near by building before Mariko could get there and hid in the shadows watching and waiting.

Mariko had tracked the lady doctor all the way back to Carrion Land, where she'd almost given up for the night... but she decided to wait a bit, see if she came back out- and she did. Even though she was followed by some guy, the grey-haired woman ghosted after them, watching with a critical eye as they took up their positions. The one on the building would be a pain, she would have to try and remember he was there. But the other one was her main concern... She was in luck- it seemed like they thought she hadn't been close enough behind to see... Meaning she had an advantage. Now to just take advantage of it.
Slowly, she stepped out into the open, her eyes flickering around and trying to find where they had gone. "I know you're here- come here so I can show you what happens when you fuck around with my husband," she called, speaking English so she knew they would understand her. Her katana was still held tightly in her hand, and although the way she held herself gave a hint that she wasn't feeling the best, despite her bold and determined attitude. Getting slammed into a building by an explosion hurt- but she was pissed off enough to ignore it at least for the time being in favor of getting her revenge.

Atlas' Theme

Atlas skulked around watching Mariko and the rest of the area... off in the distance however he saw a hawk flying towards the scene... Atlas had lived in the Northern Wilds for most of his life, it was pretty odd seeing a bird like that this far south... He went to the side of a chimney near by and put his back to it then peaked around the side at the oncoming bird and aimed his bow up at it... The one thing about hunting Falcons and Hawks and other Raptors is... on the ground look around, in the air looking down... They weren't very perceptive when something was flying into them from the air, they paid too much attention to what was on the ground... He pulled back the bow string with an arrow knocked that had a bola attached to the back... He released the arrow sending it past the hawk but the bola wrapped around the bird's body and it plummeted... Atlas wasn't sure how far away it was when it fell... He hoped the fall killed it, being this far south these days probably means the poor thing was lost and starving... Maybe he put it out of it's misery.

Mariko stayed silent as she was met with no response, her eyes narrowing slightly as she once more scanned the shadows. She knew which way they'd each gone yet she was unsure if they had set up some sort of trap for her should she simply step further into the open. She couldn't just stand there though... She sighed, her crimson eyes narrowed in concentration. She was still angry- yet some of that anger had faded just enough so that she could plan a bit instead of just rushing right into things in a flurry of rage. She'd calmed down enough that she could think a bit better yet she was still driven by anger as she sighed, slowly edging closer to a building- one of the buildings that sat next to the one Atlas had climbed. She hoped being close would eliminate any long-distance attacks while she tried to get Jack to come out. "Come out, come out, you little whore... Is this a habit you make regularly? Kiss other people's loved ones...? Do you think it's fun...? Hm? Talk to me! Come out here and take responsibility for what you did instead of hiding like the coward you are!" she snapped, her fingers still clutching her katana tightly. She had alternative weapons- but she didn't want Jack to know that, so they'd stay hidden for now. She was much more confident with her katana anyways, not that she was bad with the other weapons... just much more comfortable with the katana.
Of course, during all this, she had a vague idea of where the two were individually stationed- but she didn't want them to know that. If they knew then who knew what might happen- she had a chance this way, at least, even if it was two against one... Her eyes flickered upwards as she thought she saw a flicker of movement and her eyes narrowed a little- but whatever that had been it wasn't aimed at her. Very well then- she'd be okay... for the moment.

Mariko gave a small hiss of frustration when once again, at least at first, there was no answer, scanning the area continuously and carefully. She knew that Jack at least was likely to have moved by now in an attempt to get to a place that would be less easy for her to react to, but she still started moving towards where she'd seen her before- at least, until she heard the barest whisper of movement behind her. Already on high alert, she spun around- barely restraining a yelp as a knife buried itself once more in her already injured shoulder, before she moved out of the way. "Really? That was all you wanted to do- get me to follow you? Well guess what- I followed you. But I'm not going to just drop it because you blew some shit up- you're going to fucking die," she spat, reaching up to remove the knife from her arm before flinging it back at the woman, grimacing as blood oozed from the wound. She'd have to be careful of that... Slowly, she started moving forward, though she stuck close to the building nonetheless. She had a feeling that Jack knew better than to let her get up close- which she wasn't really too worried about. She had a back up plan if she couldn't manage to get within a small enough distance to use her katana.
