Jo nodded solemnly as Emilia explained Ryder. She hoped any damage done on his psyche wasn`t too permanent. Surely, someone had told him her and Pugsy were still around. But seeing Ivy`s body doing and saying what Arma did? That would need a lot of fixing. Her eyes shifted back to her redheaded companion, who looked.. disappointed? The blunette was blissfully ignorant of Emilia`s attraction to her, having convinced herself that the whole episode in which they drunkenly kissed was in her head. Regardless, she jolted a bit as she listened to the woman. Oh, she was dreading that question. She dragged Emilia`s knocked out body all the way back to their base; she hadn`t even dropped her by the infirmary or anything, just sort of plopped her onto her bed. Thinking back, she really should have been more careful. "Oh! Well, that`s..." She replied, seemingly embarrassed as she began to trail off. Luckily, Kat answered for her. Jo probably would have ended up spitting out some dumb lie, anyway. "... Yeah." She confirmed, her eyebrows lifting in sudden happiness as the assassin mentioned food. "I`ll probably stop by later and get something." She mentioned, rubbing the back of her neck. Right now, she sort of wanted to check on Ryder and Ivy...

Chelsea drew back slightly, worry written across her face as she saw Ivy curl up.
"I-It's okay now, Miss Ivy..." she said to Ivy quietly, gently placing a hand onto her arm and trying to comfort her. "The man that did that to you is gone now...we're going to make sure that you're okay...Ryder especially. He'd do anything to protect you...a-and I'd like to protect you, too! ...S-so please, don't be scared..."

Pugsy nodded to Ryder again "Come on big bro believe me.... I'm serious, we didn't lose anyone..." well, THEY didn't, The Inquisitor and Chef were gone, but he doubted that Ryder would care about them. Pugsy walked closer to Ryder, patting his head with his cast "We won dude! Come on, smile!" he called out to Ryder, trying to get a decent reaction out of the man "Chelsea really saved the day last night... we should stop by to thank her as soon as you can get up, okay?" he asked Ryder, if there was anything he knew it was that Ryder was best cheered up by actually having stuff to do.

Ryder didn't particularly smile...but he seemed relieved all the same. But then, Pugsy mentioned Chelsea, and Ryder paled visibly. He looked at Pugsy, then spoke,
"Ch-Chelsea? Wait, she was the 'hero'? She wasn't out there fighting, right? Is she okay? What happened? Where is she?" His voice increased in anxiety with each question, seeming to become a bit frantic over the thought of his sister being anywhere near the battlefield. He didn't realize that what help she had provided, she had provided from the safety of Carrion Land.

Emilia said as she shifted her position, and noticed that she was just in a loose tang top that wasn't really covering her stomach and sweat pants. Yep... These were the clothes she was wearing underneath when she worked out.

Bunny woke up a little bit later. She slept like a damn rock, and it was awesome. She yawned, getting out of bed, and putt on her boots. Like she even bothers to fix her hair. She put it in a slightly less messy braid, and walked out, wondering where everyone was and how others were doing. She decided to find Bravery. She went to the infirmary, passing Ryder and Pugsy by, and sitting by Bravery.
"Mornin bud. You feeling okay?" she asked, looking at him. "Well...they got you all hooked up...you took a mighty fine beaten..." she smiled and pet his head. "I'm proud of you..."

Ivy peeked at Chelsea and took a few deep breaths...she couldn't freak out in front of her...even though the insane part of her really wanted to. This Ryder she spoke of seemed like someone that cared, and if Chelsea wanted to help too, Ivy should cooperate.

"I...okay...it's just..."

No. Do not think about the blimp. BLIMP! THE HORROR! I THOUGHT WE WEREN'T GONNA THINK ABOUT IT!

She was freaking out inside, as the memories that she had were the ones right before her "death", which were most definitely not pleasant. She started biting her nails, looking at Chelsea.

"So...um...Is anyone gonna tell me what's going on? So many people are hurt...everyone looks like they've been in a war zone..."

Little did she know that SHE had almost singlehandedly created the war zone.

So then Pugsy tried to smile to him once again through the bandages and walked to the exit of the infirmary "So... how about we go, yeah?" he replied as he walked off to where Chelsea was, before he knew it he made it there, even though he was walking very awkwardly "Yo Chelsea! I'm back! Guess who I brought!?" he announced happily as he waited for Ryder.

Jo tensed. Usually, she insisted everyone call her 'The Boss', except for a lot of her closer officers. Emilia was probably one of the officers she would allow to call her by her actual nickname. Regardless, these questions were visibly killing her. "Uh..." She struggled for words, her face reddening slightly. Truth be told, she was getting a bit lonely. Sure, she had Elliot and Ryder and everyone; but Elliot was dating Bunny now, Ryder had his sister and Pugsy, Bravery and Gabriel had each other, leaving her alone with her work. It didn`t really bother her until recently. A month ago, her and Emilia were building a nice friendship, but it seemed to all start crashing down as she became more involved with leading Vulture Team.

"It was like --" She was kind of hoping Emilia would wake up a bit earlier and they could have watched some James Bond movies together. Never mind that those movies were extremely sexist and probably offensive to someone like Emilia, but who didn`t like James bond? Unheard of. "My room was closer than the Infirmary? Yeah! And you weren`t, y'know, that wounded, and I wanted to sleep, so I figured..." She stopped herself right there. She was getting sort of bad at talking to people. That`s what happens when you spend more time plotting your enemies demise and trying to end a brutal gang war than socializing with people. Food was brought up again and Jo smiled weakly. Food sounded really awesome. Anything that would get her out of this conversation probably would be cool. But, a thought still lingered in her mind. "Can... you come with me to check on Ryder and Ivy first?" She asked, clear concern present in her tone. If Ivy was gone, she could at least order Paladin to come pick up the corpse and put it in it`s rightful place in the graveyard. She doubted the girl could really be brought back. It was plausible, but just too much for her mind to conceive at the moment.

Ivy frowned as Chelsea spoke...she felt a tugging in the back of her mind,a buried memory that wanted to come out, making the greenette feel that Chelsea was not telling her the whole story... If she had been hurt, how come she felt no pain other than that headache? Then Pugsy happened and Ivy curled into a ball again. She didn't remember the man knocking her out, but having a person that she now only vaguely recognized sorta freaked her out.

"Hi..."

She said in a quiet voice, containing the urge to offer the man some battery acid. What was it with the battery acid that she thought about so much?!

Striker looked at Ivy. He was simply puzzled. I guess the inquisitor's been busy. Arron thought. This was interesting. What science could do this? Science that could bring back the dead.... That's not right. Bringing someone back from the dead like this. Arron thought. Striker was still looking her over. She seemed exactly the same. "I don't get it. I'm going to go and leave you guys be for now." He made his way to the entrance, getting his bike set. He wanted to check on the grave, as well as pay a visit to some old friends.

Pugsy smiled like an idiot as he walked inside the room, full of bandages "Chelsea! You are gonna be so happy! Look who's well and okay!?" he asked, waiting for Ryder to walk in, he wasn't nearly as bad as he was last night, so that was a plus! And then he saw Ivy, and she was actually acting... Pugsy's eyes widened. She was curled up and have a light 'hi...' to him, which Pugsy found incredibly cute. The man nearly had a heart attack "H-h-hey!! I'm... BURGERS!" he yelled, the man started to swat under his bandages and began to tremble, at least everyone knew that the battle hadn't changed how Pugsy acted at all.

Chelsea had been about to talk to Ivy again, but then Pugsy came, and she turned, giving him a tired, but cheerful smile. "Hi, Pugsy! Ivy's in much better shape than before, and--huh? Who'd you bring?" She smiled in anticipation, thinking that it was probably going to be Ryder.

Ryder followed Pugsy into the room, stoppng by the other man as he caught sight of the others in the room. He gave Chelsea a faint smile and a wave...but then his eyes fell upon Ivy. He felt a strange...mix of emotions. He was really happy to see her. But he was also worried about her. He was confused as to why she was alive. He didn't know why she had been attacking everyone. And most of all--he felt guilt. Guilt for letting that damned Inquisitor hurt her in the first place...He looked at Ivy, really not sure what to say. He tried to come up with something, but nothing seemed to work. Instead, he cast his eyes to the ground and spoke quietly,
"H-Hi...again..."

Ivy looked at Pugsy and saw his reaction, which almost made HER lose her own awkwardness.

"Burgers? That's... I mean, nice na-"

She had started formulating a confused reply to Pugsy's statement when Ryder came in. THIS was Ryder? This was the redhead guy that she remembered! She instinctively ran to Ryder with no hesitation, hugging him tightly, not realizing he might have injuries. She was much stronger than she realized now; luckily her nuke-capability had.been suppressed, so she wasn't nuking everything accidentally, but she still wasn't aware that she might be hurting Ryder. This was one of the small bits that she remembered: hugging the redhead made things better. And here he was, so she had done what she remembered.
However, her currently confused brain made her realize that she couldn't properly remember much about who she was hugging, other than his face, his love for baseball, and the fact that she felt she was close to him. She pulled away awkwardly.

"Sorry... I... I've been told I'm Ivy... I think I know you..."

Ryder felt a sense of warmth and relief when Ivy hugged him. It was like a wave of nostalgia--but it washed over him gently, and actually made him smile--a geniune smile. He was about to hug her back--but then she pulled away. He seemed a bit confused--wasn't this Ivy? Wasn't she back to normal? And then, he listened to what Ivy had to say...and his face fell. She didn't remember...she didn't remember anything. But, he didn't let his face stay like that for long--he quickly did his best to put up another smile, and spoke to her
"Oh...sorry...I-I guess that I'm being a little too forward, if you don't remember...I...I'm...Ryder..."
Having to re-introduce himself to her again felt like a stab to the heart. But, he still did his best to keep that smile up on his face--as hard as it was.

Pugsy suddenly punched himself in the face "Ouch..." he lightly spoke out, trying to make it as little of a deal as possible. He couldn't let his own odd actions interrupt Ryder's reunion with Ivy "Uh... I'll wait outside..." the man said managing to speak words before walking outside the room. He waited out, making a loud sigh, he would wait until they were done, or at least until they had enough time together.

Gabriel had been asleep for quite some time. Ever since he had passed out after confessing to Bravery, he'd been unconscious, even as the nurses cleaned and treated his wounds and did their best to rid him of the poison. The pain medications and sedatives they gave him didn't help him to come around anymore either. But finally, finally he was waking up. His arm had been put in a cast and the other had been stitched up. He was still be weak from blood loss however, considering the fact that he couldn't get any sort of transfusion. "Nnng..." Shifting slightly in his bed, he grimaced as he felt the pain in his body, but he tried to keep quiet about it.
Wait... Pain?
His eyes shot open as he realized that he, despite his fears from before, was still alive. Slowly, he remembered what he had said to Bravery during his pain-dazed panicked state of last words. 'Oh shit.' Tilting his head slightly, just slightly, he caught sight of Bravery and Bunny not far off, and he quickly pretended to be asleep again, not wishing to bother them. He listened to them though, and watched through half-lidded eyes.
