Victor looked at the little girl and knelt down a bit,"Hello there...I'm not going to hurt you.."He said with a smile,"My name is Victor...your name is Dorothy then huh? That's a nice name..."He said before looking back at the body of his closest friend,"You stay close to Mocha."He said as he carefully picked up Gari's body,"Rourke...come with me out back..."

Rourke gave Dorthy a calm, friendly smile. He was feeling much less in danger of switching personalities again now that he couldn't hear the explosions anymore, so that was good. After smiling at Dorthy, he looked to Ripper.
"Right..." He looked to Mocha for a moment, then spoke again, "We'll be right back, alright?"

Victor walked out back and set the body down before he started to literally dig a grave with his bare hands,"I should have been there...I should have saved her..."He said as his eyes were stinging.

"There wasn't anything either of us could do..." Rourke spoke quietly. "She just ran right over to where the leaders were fighting...she saved Jade's life and took one of the Vulture officers down with her, but that doesn't make up for losing her..........hang on." Obviously, digging with their hands wasn't going to get them very far. He stepped into the bar for a moment, and asked the bartender if they had any digging tools they could use. As it turned out, they at least had gardening trowels that somebody had left there one day while drunk. Rourke took the two small shovels, bringing them back out and handing one to Victor, then proceeding to dig as well. "I just wish that I could have helped her somehow..."

"I was gonna try and ask her out you know...when I took her to Russia with me..."He said as he dug,"She was my closest friend..."He added as he wiped his eyes a bit,"Dammit Gari...you idiot!"He yelled as he dug.

"I was worried how this would effect you...I could tell how close you were," he sighed as he continued to dig. "But now, all we can do is honor her memory...she was a good friend of mine, too. I'm going to miss her a lot...losing friends like this...has been happening to me a lot. It's...hard, I know. Even harder for you, with how you felt about her..."

"At least she idn;t go out like a punk..."He said once they finished digging. He lifted the body down into the hole and climbed out,"I...I'm sorry I couldn't save you Gari...you didn't deserve to die..."He said as he crossed his heart,"I hope you find peace..."

He took his parka off and tossed it into the hole with her,"Save me a drink Beastie."He said as he started filling the hole back up.

Victor carved Gari's name into the pice of wood and smiled a bit,"Come on, let's get a drink buddy."He said slapping Rourke on the back,"She wouldn;t want us moping about."

"Heh...yeah, at this point, we really need it, huh?" Rourke gave Victor a smile as he began to head towards the bar. "It's been a hell of a day that we've dragged ourselves through."

Ripper ordered a couple beers and smiled,"To friends, and living to fight another day."He said smiling.

"Cheers to that," Rourke gave a small smile, touching his glass to Victor's with a clink. He took a medium-sized sip of his drink, then carefully placing the glass down with a sigh. "Sometimes I wish that we could just be done with this whole war thing, and get out of here already. I've had enough of losing my friends...both in war outside, and in here."

He smacked the back of Rourke's head,"Oi, what did I say about moping."He said laughing a little,"You wanna know how I met Gari?"

"Ah--sorry about that," he gave Victor another smile, along with a barely audible bashful laugh. "And sure, why not? I haven't gotten to hear that story yet."

"Well I was walking through Chinatown, looking for a possible recruit when I saw her mashing some crazies skulls in. I though, hell we could use someone with that kind of strength. So I tried to talk to her, when I did she uh...she thought I was a crazy."He said laughing a little,"And she slammed me in the ribs with her hammer. By the time I came to she was standing over me and actually let me talk before she got me back to the palace."

Rourke let out a little chuckle, adjusting his hat a bit.
"Man...sounds just like you two." He gave another small laugh before smiling and shaking his head. "I bet that you were sore from that for weeks, huh?"

"Oh hell yeah."He said laughing,"Still got the surgical scar from where Jade had to cut in to see the damage."He said smiling,"She was a hell of a woman."
