Sophia froze as Eve mentioned Kraven being alive again, her eyes flashing wide before she squeezed them shut, automatic, overwhelming fear running through her- but they... they were going to fight. They could handle this, right...? They were all going to work together, on one man- they could kill him, couldn't they...? She took a deep breath as Kayden let go and ran off, nodding to his words. Right- they could rest, once they'd won... Quickly, she hurried after the others, bag clutched tightly in her hand.

Mariko felt her blood run cold upon Eve's announcement that Kraven was back, a snarl on her features almost instantly- but as she ordered those that weren't too injured to go and fight, she glanced down at herself. Reasonably, she should probably stay behind. But if she did, she would be leaving Masaru alone to go and fight one of the most dangerous men to ever walk this earth... As he himself turned to her though, holding her hands and speaking to her, her expression slowly softened. She wanted to fight- she really did. But if she went, she'd only hold them back- she wasn't in her best shape, as Masaru pointed out... The last thing she wanted was him getting hurt to protect her. Quietly, she nodded to him, staying back as she watched him go- before muttering under her breath, just before he faded from her view. "私の愛、注意してください...これは簡単なミッションがありません···安全で...神の愛のために、安全でください..." Quietly, she sighed, then moved to go and get her wounds treated, worrying silently about her husband.

Paul was at the infirmary as his wounds were getting treated on. It was very hard for him since there wasn't alot of painkiller medicine to inject before the process but he grinned and beared it. The stitching and reapplying new skin was really painful but Paul made sure not to let out any form of pain. That would just be weak to him. After some time, the process was done. Paul looked at the bandages that were on him. No way would he try to take these off right now. He gave the medics a nod for thank you as Mariko walked in. Was their meeting with Ms. Eve done? Did something happen? Is everyone safe? Paul wanted to know what was going on so he walked over to where Mariko was as he gave a simple nod to her. "Hello Mrs. Mariko, what has happened out there?"

Eve returned with her troops just a bit later- the walk from the Playboy Mansion back to her own mansion wasn`t very long at all, seeing as how they were pretty much neighbors and all--
"That went well~!" It didn`t. It was the opposite of well. Kraven was alive and kicking- and she did nothing to stop that. Nothing. Her father`s death was unavenged, and a whole new war was brewing-- and this time, she was at a position of power. The last time they`d gotten involved in one of these, it led to the Family being in it`s current state-- and that was with her father leading. A capable leader.
Still, Eve grinned gleefully, chirping as she addressed her footmen, "I`m going to call together a meeting between all of the Family`s bosses~! Tell them all to meet me in the usual room!"

After receiving confirmation, Eve hurried back inside the mansion, heading into the 'usual room'-- the very same one she had called all the remaining Family officers to back during the old gang war, to recruit them all into the Council of Gentlemen. Which... she now led, too...
With no company for now, Eve allowed her smile to drop, and her head to fall into her hands. They had to pull together some sort of plan...

Atticus came back second, and as he moved, his laser cannons modeled back into his body, and he returned to his slightly less abnormal self. He looked human again. His head was pounding like crazy.

As Masaru returned to Highend, he was met by a few footmen, who told him of the meeting that was going to be taking place in the old conference room. Having been given this information, he knew that it would be good to head there promptly, but first, he wanted to check on Mariko. He moved through the damaged remnants of the mansion, making his way to the infirmary. As he got there, and saw that both Mariko and Paul had been treated and were conscious, he smiled, then walked over to Mariko, putting his hands onto her shoulders and standing on tiptoe to press a light kiss to her cheek.
"We're back--how are you doing...?" he asked her with a small smile, then spoke as if to address both Mariko and Paul. "We saw Kraven...but we didn't end up fighting him. Black Dragon and Paladin showed up, and Vulture Team's leaders were there...everyone ended up retreating. Right now, Eve is about to hold a meeting of the bosses in the conference room."

Kayden returned to the Kingpin Mansion along with Sophia, seeming awfully neutral about the fact that they had had to retreat. As he returned, he purposefully diverted his eyes from the landshark corpses lying around--he was hoping that those would be cleaned up before he had to pay attention to them. Wanting to distract himself from the deaths of the creatures that he had considered children, he quickly looked around for something else to focus on--and just at that moment, a footman approached them, informing him and Sophia of the meeting that Eve was organizing. Well, there was a distraction--
"Th' ol' conference room, huh? Alright--Sophia, you ready t' head over there now?" he looked at the pinkette and grinned--hoping that she would say yes.

As soon as Paul was waiting for an answer, her husband showed up which relieved him. "Why hello there Mr. Masaru. It's nice to see that you're all well and not hurt." But Masaru seemed to be busy as he kissed Mariko on the cheek which caused Paul to scratch the side of his cheek a bit as he looked away, trying to give the two a little bit of privacy. Ah how nice it must to be in youth for those two. But then the next few parts that the man said caused Paul to look back with fear in his eyes. Kraven...was resurrected? The man that caused so much death and misery is now back? Great. He sighed as he thought about the other factions being there. Just what the hell is going to happen now? He didn't like the sound of all of this as he slapped himself. No. Now was not the time to be afraid. Now is the time to show courage and face this adversary no matter what! When Masaru finished up what he said, Paul got up as he gave a nod to the two before walking over to where the observation room was. "Mr. Magnum is here, reporting for duty!"

Sophia sighed a little as they walked back to the mansion, frowning at the sight of so many landsharks dead around them- it reminded her of Juan, and that was nothing she wanted to think about now. Instead, she focused on Kayden, trying to smile at him- but when the messenger came and told them there was a meeting, she sighed again. When Kayden asked if she wanted to go then, she nodded, but held up a finger. "As long as we can make a quick stop..." she murmured, tugging Kayden along by the hand until she reached a rather nondescript room- where she proceeded to tug Kayden inside, then shut the door as she hunted down spare clothes and changed, using her old ones to wipe off most of the blood on her. She didn't want to go to a meeting still covered in blood... Even if it meant changing right in front of Kayden. It didn't take her long to tug her clean clothes on, and she quickly grabbed Kayden's hand and pulled him out of the room and towards the conference room, blushing faintly- but quickly calming as she and Kayden reached the room. "We're here," she mumbled quietly, standing a little closer to Kayden out of nervousness.

Mariko had hissed and sighed and sat through the medics handling her wounds, though upon hearing Paul, she lifted a hand- she'd answer him as soon as they finished. And she was about to, as they bustled away- but then Masaru walked in, and she paused, blinking in surprise as he came over. She smiled though, chuckling softly as Masaru leaned up to kiss her cheek. "I'm better now that I know you're safe," she replied, kissing the top of his head- before hesitating as he explained the rest, a frown appearing on her face. Kraven had actually been revived..? And nobody had stopped him... She sighed, but upon hearing there was a meeting, she shifted to test her wounds, wincing a bit- but able to handle it. "I suppose we should go then, hm?" she replied, slowly reaching down and lacing her fingers through his before heading in the direction of the conference room, tugging him along.

As Sophia tugged him over to her room and inside, Kayden's attention seemed to dart around the room, not quite focusing on any one thing while he waited for her to change into her new clothes. His own clothes were still kind of ripped up and bloodstained, but he didn't care all that much at this point. And before he knew it, she was pulling him off to the conference room. Once there, he moved a little bit inside, not feeling the need to announce their presence, since Sophia had done that for him. Now that the battle had ended, his excitement seemed to be petering out, and he was getting a bit calmer. Still, unfortunately, he was almost wishing that something else big could happen...even if only to distract himself from the massive losses that his family had taken that day.

Masaru seemed concerned when he saw Mariko cringing from her wounds, and as she took his hand, he looked up at her and said gently,
"Don't strain yourself too much, alright?"
He moved with Mariko to the conference room, seeing that the other bosses were already in there. Good...so they could start the meeting right away. It was easy to tell that the prison was about to go to hell...so they were going to need one good plan if they wanted to get through it in their current state.

Simon returned to the mansion, taking a longer way back. He couldn't believe what he saw. That was indeed his brother, in that mansion in a dress. The dress part was...interesting, but it was mostly seeing him. He sat down, completely...not okay with this. He needed to talk to him. He found some paper and a pen, and started to write down a message to him. He was vey careful in the words he would use on addressing him. Taka saw him and flew over, concerned for his master, obviously.

Eve waited for the rest of the Family bosses to gather together- once they had, the doors behind them would close, and she cleared her throat- looking out at them as she spoke.
"As you all already know... in this city`s times of chaos- it is our job, The Family`s duty-- to reign supreme and bring about peace. Right now...? No Man`s Land needs our prowess more than ever before. What this city needs is a ray of hope- and that`s something only we can bring them." Despite Eve`s change to her old persona- it was fairly obvious some of her old personality continued to shine through. Or, at the very least- she forced it through, wanting to be speaking the same language as her allies... "That being said... this war we`re going into-- this isn`t like the last. We`re not knocking some petty rapist off his pedestal, no more backhanded betrayals from crooked cops, no more crazy psychic robots-- this is different. We`ve passed all of that. The threats we`re against... may not be the worst the Family has seen-- but, they can compete. They really, really can..." She took in a deep breath, then sighed- calming herself. The impact of the information she had absorbed earlier was still fresh in her mind-- it was going to take some serious determination to not give in to intimidation, knowing full well what she was against... "...So, we`re bringing out the big guns~! Each Family is gonna do what it does best to it`s fullest- and together, we`re taking this city by storm, and showing these crooks who`s really boss around here! Hint: it`s us~! That being said-" She dramatically pointed over at Paul, grinning- "Say hellooooo to your strategist! Being the only person in the room aside from moi with real mafia experience- you`re all to listen to Paul and respect his strategic decisions! `Kay thanks- any questions...?"

Paul waited for everyone else to come into the room as he took one of the seats in the room to sit down on. When all of the other officers came in, Eve began her speech which Paul listened to intently. He stayed frozen in his chair as he asorbed in all of this information. 'So this time it was going to be really serious. No more time for children's play. If The Family needs to survive and pull out the big guns is the way to ensure or survival, then so be it. Surely Eve will do a fantastic job leading us-wait, why is she pointing to me?' Paul was confused as to why he was pointed at until she started to explain why she did the pointing. He was going to be their strategist. A bit of silence was in Paul's seat as he stared at the desk before replying with an "Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!?" He just couldn't get why he was picked out of all of them to be their strategist. Sure what she said made the most sense but to him he felt like he was either going to screw up or people weren't going to listen to him since it seems like maybe Eve or someone else should develop a strategy. Before he could freak out even more though, Paul cleared his throat as he put on his most serious face he could muster. His face showed that he accepted the position that Eve just gave him as he was ready to get started.

As he listened to Eve's speech, Kayden was drumming his fingers against the table in an erratic rhythm that didn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to it--he was still trying to get himself back in sorts again, and to be honest, it almost felt like it would be way easier to just let go and go with the flow again--but he could at the very least tell that the thought of that was making Sophia upset, so he wasn't going to go with it, no matter how appealing it might have seemed. He did his best to keep his attention upon Eve's message, and as she declared Paul as the new strategist, he nodded, giving the greenette a strained grin.
"Good on you, man! Ya got this!"

Masaru listened quietly to Eve as she spoke, nodding occasionally. As she asked at the end if there were any questions, he shook his head slightly, speaking,
"Everything seems fairly clear. I'm sure that as long as you and Paul collaborate, and we all put our all into our efforts, then we'll all do fine." He paused for a moment, noting Paul's initially shocked expression, his own expression softening a bit as he spoke to the greenette. "Don't think of it as additional pressure. Simply know that we all trust your decisions. There may be a lot at stake, but it's clear that you have the skills to come up with a good plan."

Sophia was quiet as she listened to Eve's little speech, eyes flicking between the floor, Kayden, and the woman in her crimson stained wedding dress- but when Eve announced that Paul was now their strategist, she smiled gently and nodded. She didn't personally remember seeing much of Paul's abilities- she was likely always distracted- but she trusted Eve to choose someone who could handle the job. "Congrats," she murmured, dipping her head to Paul before reaching out to grab onto Kayden's hand, noticing his nerves. She wanted to help him stay calm...

Mariko maintained her place beside Masaru as Eve spoke, humming thoughtfully as she took in the blonde's words- before smiling warmly as Eve appointed Paul their strategist. She had seen some of his fighting in the last battle- she trusted he would do a good job... but she let Masaru voice the congratulations they both felt he deserved, simply nodding to what her husband said with a soft smile at Paul.

Paul just couldn't believe this. He was chosen to be their strategist? Him!? He looked at the others for their reaction and saw that all of them warmly accepted him. This made the man smile a bit. Masaru's words got him the most as he did need to stay calm and not be stressed about this. If they all trust him, then he needs to trust himself. Paul gave a little bow back to them as he cleared his throat again. "Alright everyone given our status and the recent attack, I think that it will be best if we stay low and see how everyone else is doing. We can send our intelligence team however to see how everything is and send us a text about the current situation. So Ms. Sophia, I want you to go to the Black Market and see how it is there. Make sure that you lay low and not get detected. If you feel that your life is at stake, quickly run back here. You can give Mr. Kayden here a call or text if you need help. Just make sure you don't get captured or worst...killed. Ms. Scia, I need you to check out on how Baker Street is doing and do the same that I just told Ms. Sophia. Mrs. Mariko, I need you to see how the Conqueror Town is going. I know that you're not part of the intelligence team but I know that your stealthiness can help us out over here. Which leaves us with Mr. Kayden and Mr. Masaru. Mr. Masaru, I want you to go over to the slums and hire any people to be our footmen. Make sure that they agree one hundred percent. If they do not, you have the authority to kill them. And Mr. Kayden, I will want you to stay here with us in case something happens. If any of you find Mr. Simon before you leave, make sure to tell him to be in this room with Mr. Kayden. You all have one hour to be out there. Once the hour is up, you are all expected to come back here. Is that alright with you Ms. Eve?"

Scia looked up from taking notes and realized she had typed her own name down in the instructions... then looked up in Paul's general direction, hearing his voice she looked right at him... Right away Mr.McAlister... She nearly sinister smirked, giving one of the only expressions she ever gave... this was what she was meant for, gathering information... it was the only legitimate work someone could do in the field of crime... hundreds could shoot or punch their way in war, gathering information... this was real work... She stood up picked up some of her papers and her phone then from within her jacket she pulled out several dozen profiles and dossiers of information about the different factions and pushed them towards Paul... Each was in a different color and with a different name

each of varying sizes; the historicals, Vulture team and the Family were all very large, Paladin and The Muppets were of moderate size, but unfortunately the last two were barely complete, she was missing several of the Assassins and had only scratched the surface on Black Dragon... That one made her feel a tinge of anger just looking at it, Black Dragon's secrets had eluded her almost entirely. I'll be quicker without carrying so much paper on me... You'll have more use for them than I will, at the moment... Do take care of them... EXIT

Sophia blinked as her name was mentioned first, and she glanced up curiously- only to smile hesitantly upon hearing Paul's instructions. "I have to go... but try and stay calm, alright...? For me... You can do this, I know you can-" She smiled hesitantly, leaning in to whisper something into his ear before pulling away, her cheeks pink as she slowly released his hand and made her way towards the door- she paused, hearing Paul's final instruction, before nodding and slipping out, heading her way towards the Black Market quickly and quietly.

Mariko hadn't expected to be asked to check somewhere- but as she heard her name, her eyes snapped up, and she listened attentively to what Paul wanted her to do, waiting until he finished completely to murmur her assent and turn to Masaru. She pressed a quick, chaste kiss to his forehead, before pulling her hand away from him. Masaru smiled gently and nodded after having received Mariko's message and kiss, then turned to the door himself. He wasn't super enthusiastic about his job, but he knew that it was necessary. They needed as much manpower as possible. So, he looked back at the others for a moment, giving them a nod in temporary farewell, then headed out of the door and out to his mission locale.
