Lukas was having difficulty taking advantage of Rommel's openings, with how fast Gonzo kept countering--but as the two men fell to the ground, with Rommel on top of Gonzo, Lukas' eyes widened as he saw Gonzo pull some kind of cord that went into his breast pocket. Quickly, he shouted out to Rommel,
"Rommel, MOVE!"
While he was at it, he backed up a step or two, instinctively motioning for Rommel to move as well. He really wished that he could take advantage of Gonzo being stuck on the ground, but he knew that if he went near the guy when he was about to explode, he'd be good as dead. He could only hope that Rommel could clear the blast in time...!

Kayden saw Statler retreat from the battle, but before he could pursue the guy, he was swept up in another wave of zombies, having to deal with quickly dispatching them all with gunshots to the head. He glanced over, happening to see somebody else approaching Sophia and Scia through the crowd, but found himself at the moment unable to make his way over to them.
"Shit...! Who're those guys--?!" he growled in alarm as he continued taking out zombies, trying to carve a path for himself back over to the ladies, Statler all but forgotten at this point in the face of his girlfriend being in danger.

Paul watched as Lao started to walk slowly towards him. This was not good. He would need to think of something to get him out of this situation, like right now!! Before he had any time to think of a plan, the man started to dash towards him. 'Shit! Shit! Shit!' He wasn't focusing on what his opponent was saying as he put his left arm again to take the roundhouse kick. Even though the cards went in his chest a bit more, he knew that the man would be in pain from that kick like last time. 'Now!' He started to shoot at the floor in front of Lao with his magnums, trying to get the man to jump a few feet back, giving him the distance to think of something.

"The Family will be the top at the end."

Tate continued to walk towards the two ladies, not even turning his head to look at Taka when the bird swooped down at him--and he suddenly whipped out his hand, hitting the bird away with a backhanded slap without even looking. His smirk only seemed to intensify when Sophia declared combat against him, and as she fired upon him, he suddenly leapt into the air, much higher than any normal person should have been able to jump--dodging the bullets and executing a full flip in mid-air before sticking his landing atop a landshark corpse. His golden eyes were gleaming as he grinned at Sophia, his words practically dripping mockery as he spoke to her over the din of battle,
"Ooh, scary~" He gave a stark chuckle, then continued to speak. "Your stuttering makes me pretty sure that you'd sooner piss yourself than be able to stand up to me, little girl. Oh, and that thing about you not dying? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're gonna be pushing up daisies within the hour. We've got a tight schedule to keep here." One thing about Tate that he simply couldn't deny about himself--when it came to fighting officers over footsoldiers, just like a cat--he loved to play with his prey. Sophia would be able to feel hissing, ebony snakes pushing up against her ankles, attempting to slither on up her legs, as Tate hopped off of the landshark corpse, moving to approach Sophia again as a leisurely stroll, chuckling darkly to himself as he moved closer and closer. Eventually, after a moment, he suddenly sped up, dashing right up to Sophia and placing one of the blades of his clawed weapon right up next to her neck, all in one movement, then leaned forward, whispering into her ear. "So--what'll it be? Want me to slit your throat--or should my friends down by your feet do the work for me?"

Masaru used his katana to catch the bolas before they smashed into his neck, holding the blade away from himself as he landed so that the bolas wouldn't hit him as they coiled around the sword. He used the bottom of his shoe to scrape the bolas off of the sword, then quickly backed up as Emilia spoke to them.
"Shut your mouth! We haven't done a damn thing to Black Dragon! Nor to you! You force us to give you shelter, then you try to kill us--?! Some house guests you are--!" As he saw the ceiling collapsing, he quickly darted out of the way, calling over to Mariko, "Mariko, the ceiling--!"

Sophia's eyes went a little wide when she saw Tate just leaping over her bullets, and she let out a hiss of annoyance before she started backing up- though, as she heard Tate's rather scathing words, she stopped. That was enough to piss her off- and it was hard, to make her too mad, when she was scared. But she was so sick of everyone just assuming she was weak- she scowled as he told her she was going to end up dead anyways, preparing herself to attack him once more. She held her ground a bit at first, when he started moving closer- but when the snakes started trying to slither up her legs, she started backing up, smacking them off as best she could. Ew much? She was so distracted trying to get the things off her, that she didn't at first notice Tate moving forward- and when she did notice, he was suddenly close- much closer than she had expected. She could feel her heart beating a mile a minute as she simply froze, eyes wide with shock as she felt the prick of the other's claws on her neck, followed by his words suddenly right in her ear. She struggled to keep from shivering, her body's natural reaction, instead tensing as she heard his words. "Why don't you go fuck yourself instead?" she hissed back, pretty much just trying to smack Tate in the jaw with the butt of her gun, mostly just wanting him away from her. She was afraid the snakes would bite her before she could really fight him off, but she was trying her best- it was hard, with her mix of fear and anger- but she was quick, after she had attempted to hit the other, to twist her gun around and try and shoot him as well- would he manage to avoid that too? She somehow wouldn't be surprised- there was something so... otherworldly, about this male...

Simon kept battling against Wei, using all he had on the monsterousity. As he took a breather, it seemed the man was having a inner crisis about something, but then suddenly fire. There was a lot of fire and Wei was on fire. He never dealt with a man on fire before. Okay that was a lie, but he never FOUGHT a man on fire before. There we go. He had his moment of surprise, but then charged in.

He pulled out 6 more cards, holding them between his fingers as he dashed to lop off Paul's head. This would be it, this would be the end "At least you were killed by a professional...!" Lao's was within striking distance of Paul when the man suddenly started shooting at the ground near Lao's feet. This forced Lao to jump backwards, flipping in the air. Once he landed, he looked at Paul with a disgusted look on his face "How dare you...?" Lao put his cards away, and opted to pull out a single card "I'm done playing around with you boy... you can't move... and this card is coated in poison! If it cuts your flesh... you only have hours to live...! It'll be a bloody and painful death... one that suits such an unartistic individual like yourself..." then, in one swift motion, Lao threw the card towards Paul's chest.

Dianhua nodded, looking quite thoughtful as Inna introduced herself. "...Hmm..." He hummed distractedly, his sight wandering off elsewhere... and then some more footmen approached them. At the same time as Inna- Dianhua paused in his musing to lash out and kick one across the shoulders, sending the footmen`s head flying straight off the corpse with a sick rippling sound. After that display- he pressed his fingers together in a knife-like position, and proceeded to jab his hand directly into another footman`s chest-- penetrating the chesty cavity entirely. He allowed himself to remain still for a moment, his arm buried up to it`s elbow within the other`s insides, grinning as he took in the look of fear on his opponent`s face-- before suddenly thrusting his arms outward, pulling several innards out with the movement and successfully sending a vibrant burst of the footman`s lifeblood forth from the open wound, splattering against both Dianhua himself and general area. His friendly smile remained intact- clashing in a rather... unsettling matter with the blood caked on his fair features.

A moment later, the psychic clicked his tongue, murmuring a quiet 'tsk' sound-- like a mother intimidating her children before reprimanding them. Then, he looked up at Inna, looking somewhat surprised for a moment- as if he had forgotten of her presence. "....Aaaaactually- I may`ve been wrong, now that I think about it~!" As soon as he spoke up again, the smile was back on his face- an oddly threatening and false aspect added to it`s previous genuineness. "My orders were to kill eeeeeeeveryone at Highend! And, well-- you`re in Highend! I know you`re on Charles` Task Force and all... but, I guess you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, huh? It makes me real sad and all to have to do this, Inna- but... there`s someone I`m trying to impress right now! So-rry~!" He flicked his hand slightly at his side- the red plasma previously clinging to his pale digits splattering eloquently onto the ground below with the movement. Without any other prior indication to his attack- he skillfully brought up his leg for a high kick intended for the side of Inna`s head, aiming to decapitate her in a similar manner he had the previous footmen. He seemed to have some sort of steel plating on his shoes, giving his kicks an extra ounce of strength to them.

These weren't Family members OR the Paladin guys he saw when he was at Vulture's base...who were they? "Ah fucking ay...this is getting really bad. I need to get them OUT!" he said, standing up, and moving a tiny bit closer. "Alright, calm down, it's okay..." he moved a bit closer, getting behind some rubble on the mansion. "Right...okay...this is bad..." he wasn't sure what to do anymore. He knew his objective, how in the hell was he gonna do that?! He needed a plan. He saw that girl with white hair talking to some other guy, thought maybe he could hear if he listened carefully, but explosions were everywhere. But he looked like he was going to attack. "No!" he lifted his rifle and fired at Dianhua, kind of without thinking. "Whoops..."

Juan tackled through a horde of zombies, tearing the living corpses apart limb from limb with his monstrous arms "JUAN ANGER! YOU HURT JUAN'S FRIENDS! JUAN HURT YOU BACK!" the shark spoke, a single tear flowing through the air as he destroyed everything in his path. The landshark ran through the mansion, destroying any zombies in his way "JUAN ANGER! JUAN ANGER! JUAN MUCH ANGER!" he repeated, thoroughly interested in literally destroying everything in his way to make his home safe. This continued until he saw a familiar face, Sophia "DADDY!" but... someone else was with her. And he seemed dangerous... Juan's animal-like sixth sense was going haywire, he could feel it. This being was absolutely unnatural, it was something that Juan immediately had an aversion to, it was a monster the likes of which he had never seen. And he seemed to be hurting Sophia. Juan let out an animistic roar, then charged Tate from the side "NO TOUCH DADDY!" the shark yelled, even as Sophia made her own attempt to fell Tate, Juan simply tried to outright tackle the psychic from the side while his attention was turned to Juan "STAY AWAY FROM DADDY!" he yelled, putting all of his muscle into ramming Tate.

Mariko rolled her eyes a little- was that not the lamest come back ever?- before she ducked and sidestepped all of Emilia's jabs, really preferring not to be impaled. When the other woman suddenly changed tactics, however, and tried to kick her in the face, her eyes went wide and she flung her arms up to protect her- resulting in her tumbling backwards to the ground, grimacing at the pain. Her arm wasn't quite broken, but it definitely hurt like a bitch- and then the woman turned back to Masaru. She watched, eyes narrowed as she slowly got back up, holding her katana at the ready- though, she blinked as suddenly the woman seemed tired of them. Had they done that much, already...? She smirked a little, seeing the redhead backing up- but then she fired at the ceiling. Her comments on who they'd angered really didn't bother her, but upon seeing the ceiling falling in, she quickly moved to get out of the way, narrowly avoiding a few bigger chunks of the ceiling. A few hit her, causing bruises, but nothing more- but now she was on the opposite side of the rubble as Masaru, and she wasn't sure she was okay with that. "Masaru--!"

Wei charge back at his opponent with almost animal like ferocity. The berserk living fire began to slide his blade back into his hilt. Click. Like a pop gun at the staring line, Wei charged.
His roar was sunk deep into the rage of the burning heat. The vermilion flames met with Simon before Wei had, but the clash of blade that ensued did not die out the flames--but for a brief moment it had taken a breath and ignited with only more desire and rage.
Wei's breath grasped Simon's blade before a loud gunshot rung through the air.
The glint of Wei's blade swung across Simon's initial strike causing a spray of sparks, metal shards, and a horrid screeching sound to come about. The power of the blade's swing was tremendous, Wei could surely overpower this man--this was his advantage.

As the other slash came down Wei parried them with even more reprimanding denials. The fifth had reach a rather unpredictable spot which slashed Wei's offhand. The slash only angered him more. Gave him hate. Gave him motivation. His eyes became that of a predator in the heat of the hunt

"Did you know the predatory side of life breeds the most intelligent side of it? No? How bout this. Those who are called 'prey' or stay a top this food chain--never reach the sapience?" He let his bloodied hand leak, the blood boiling which steamed off the cool family grounds "Well you're not at the height of the food chain anymore....Know what that makes you?"

He shot his blade once more as he charge at Simon. His blade vibrating at minuscule oscillations--acting as saw. Attempting to mow down even Simon's own blade. Wei returned Simon a series of 5 slashes and jabs of his strange blade

Paul was ready for the worst if Lao was able to dodge the bullets, but thankfully his plan worked as the man jumped backwards from his shots. He noticed that the man took out six cards. This was going to be really troublesome if they were all thrown at him...but then they were put away. This confused the green hair man as he didn't know what to expect next only for his eyes to go wide when Lao told him about how the single card he had in his hand was poison. 'Shit! Shit! Shit! Think Paul think! What can I do!?' He looked at his foe and then back to his chest and then back to his foe and then back to his chest. This continued for a little bit more as a clock was ticking in his mind. There had to be something done with the cards on his chest. Just when Lao threw the poison coated card, the clock in his mind hit twelve as he used all of his might and pulled out one of the cards in there with his left arm. 'You only got one chance Paul! You can do this!' Paul quickly threw the card in his left hand at the poison card that was coming at him as the two hit one another and fell down to the floor. He sighed in relief at the result as he stared at Lao. "Hey buddy you know what I have to say, FUCK YOU!" And with that, Paul ripped out the other card lodged in his chest as the blood started to poor out more now. He took the card in his hand and started to slice at the ice, hoping that the ice will break from the sharp card.

Lao fixed his glasses as his card shot right towards Paul "It's over... boy!" yes, he was sure it would be the end this time. No one could stay alive so long, not with him. It had been years since someone could survive so long with Lao. Yet, despite Lao's confidence that this last blow would be the last of the battle, Paul tore one of Lao's cards from his own body and used it to deflect Lao's own poison card. Lao immediately reacted with shock "W-WHAAAAAT!?" the elderly man's eyes widened as he backed away, his glasses falling off his face. Then, Paul tore out another card from his chest "Wait a moment-! You'll only hasten your own demise that way! You're really going that far just to beat me...!?" and then Paul managed to break the ice entrapping his legs, breaking free of the ice. Lao took an immediate step back from this action "...You... how... did you manage to...!? THOSE MY CARDS YOU LITTLE SHIT!"

"I think you need to try a bit harder," Tate murmured to Sophia, twisting his body around, dodging Sophia's strikes by moving to her side, wisping around her practically like a spirit on the wind. He was about to deal out a swift finishing strike--before he suddenly heard a loud roar, and turned, seeing Juan quickly bearing down on him, and let out a laugh on hearing the landshark's roar. " 'Daddy'--?" He was quick to move out of the way--the spring-loaded cybernetics in his feet spared no time in launching him to the side, several snakes quickly coiling their way onto his arms and shoulders as he landed, kicking up plaster-dust in his wake as he turned to face Juan. "Alright, whatever--I'll kill your pet first, I guess. No skin off my nose." He stood where he was, adjusting his claw weapon a little bit before looking up at Juan and grinning, calling to him. "Hey, shark! I'll touch your 'Daddy' all I damn please! And oh, the things I'll do to her~ Carve her open, pull out her insides...maybe I'll open her neck up just...liiiiike...this." He reached out, grabbing a stray passing Family footman, sparing no time in carving the man's neck open in one swipe, then grabbing a handful of the veins that were held within, tugging them out in such a way that they swiftly resembled some kind of grotesque licorice. "This'll be your Daddy soon, shark! You'd better hurry up and do something before I get her!"

Muugica was very confused by the tiny pink girl... Trouble?... but, wait... Why would they... He was very confused... Was she trying to save him from trouble or?... Then she began shaking him... AugAugAugheleghl...Oh yes she had the Nanos in her... She was Strong and Fast... He zoomed his eye's vision into her brain and tried to search for the central point of her Nano-cybernetic... They couldn't be disabled, hacked or altered once implanted but he could maybe sense a possible weakness... He designed them to operate more like human organs than actual cybernetics... Where was they housed?... Her digestive system and blood?... He couldn't make heads or tails of it... especially being shaken so much... He tried to signal with his eye for Alice to pick up Oiche and run while he distracted her... Um... No thank you, I'm not very partial to sweets... But um you see I can't be Fozzy... uhh... Fozzy is uhhh... Then suddenly a beeping sound came from Hazel's watch when she put her hand out to give him gummy bears... It was an arrow on the screen pointing at him with the Fozzy Bear icon... SHIT!

She wouldn't have known him by face, people in Black Dragon didn't have many photos of themselves, were he not shouting his name... The older members of Black Dragon were the ones with the most rumors about them... But if this was Black Dragon then... She looked down at the snakes, they weren't normal, they seemed to just magically appear around Tate's body... He was a flighty little one... She almost swiped at him when he got close to Sohpia but he was too quick... She needed to analyze him more... She took a wire with a knife blade attached and began spinning it around and whipping it towards the snakes back and forth, keeping them from her and Sophia... Sophia began firing at Tate but then Juan Happened... Oh God she could hug the monster for his uncanny timing, but Tate dodged it!... The Snakes began dispersing with her attacks but she only hit two and the one bit her ankle deep and hard... Ahhh!... NO... She felt something pulse in the back of her head and her migraine pulsed as she fought against the emotions attacking her mind... She focused on her training to always be calm... but she still felt the panic and rage on the edge of her mind like a spike and flame pressing against her temples, she felt something stream down her eye, was it blood?... Something was wrong with her... Now that sent the spike of fear deep into her mind... She fell to one knee and pulled out another knife with a net of wires attached and whistled calling Taka... with all of her resolve she threw it towards Taka and pulled the wire net... Taka fly around Tate trying to wrap him up in the convoluted mess of razor wire... She needed to do everything she could to keep Sophia and the Rest of the Family safe.

Juan stared at Tate, watching the man in disgust as he spoke to the landshark "NO... YOU NO TOUCH DADDY!" he yelled back to Tate, wildly slamming his fists against the ground "JUAN KILL! JUAN KILL A LOT! YOU BAD MAN!" he yelled, growling to Tate. Even worse, Tate's murder of yet another Family footmen further enraged Juan "YOU NO HURT FRIENDS!" Juan yelled, charging Tate. Juan was going to try the same thing again, hoping this time it would work better. And then the bird came swooping in, surrounding Tate in razor wire. Juan was apparently perceptive enough to notice this and not cut himself apart "HRM..." Juan put a bit of thinking into his next move, he couldn't get in close with that razor wire. So instead, he promptly grabbed a nearby zombie, and threw him at Tate like a wrecking ball "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!"

Paul used all of his strength and all of his might as the ice started to break away from the card strikes. Once the ice was broken he shook his legs to get the last remaining ice off from it and to get the blood back flowing in there. He then fixed his neck as snapping sounds was heard as he started to reload while walking towards Lao. The blood was leaving a trail behind him as he got to the area where the sharp and poison card were as he picked them up with his left hand and held the three cards he had now. He then gave a serious mean look at Lao that would scare the pants out of any normal man. "Listen, this may be my demise...so be it. I will not let anyone screw around with The Family. I'll make sure of that if it means that I have to die. If it means that I can kill the bastard who stands in our way...THEN SO BE IT!" And with that Paul started to fire with the magnum on his right hand. While Lao would be distracted, Paul threw the two sharp cards at him with his left hand before aiming precisely as he threw the poison coated card at him.

"The Family will be the top at the end."

"Now we can fight this battle like it's supposed to be fought... With all my focus... ON YOU!" Emilia shouted as she swung her lance to slash at Masaru before going forward to impale him.

"No?" Hazel asked as she began eating the bears herself. When Hazel heard the beeping she looked at her watched and began hitting it. "NO! I want my gummy bear time!" Hazel said as she sat down and began eating and looking at her watched. 'Gummy bears... Bear on clock... Arrow... Gummy bears... Bear... Arrow... Gummy Bears. BEAR!' Hazel shot up and pointed at Muugica. "YOUR A TEDDY BEAR!" Hazel said as she grabbed Muugica and ran out the window, and ran up the wall. Muugica would feel like his skin was being peeled off around his eyes from how fast she was going. "GONZO! BEAR!" Hazel said as she lifted Muugica over her head."

Meanwhile Oiche got up and rubbed his head. He looked around to see Hazel eating Gummy Bears before her watch was beeping. "Uh... Maybe we should-" Oiche began to say before he saw Hazel freak out and carry Muugica out the window faster then he could suggest them getting out of here. "Alice..." Oiche said as she started to man up and took out another pistol. "Git behind meh... I... Am... Gonna go Ape Shit..."

How the hell had the Family thought these guys would be able to do Anything to prevent an attack. Pulling out two new guns out, she loaded new explosive rounds into them. She fired at Kayden, several of them hitting land sharks near him and exploding from the impact of her bullets. "Sorry Dunkschwarz But I can't let you do that!"

Lao stood completely in fear as Paul completely shrugged off the damage done to him in the fight "You're- you're kidding me...!" Lao quickly pulled out two more razor sharp cards "That look in his eyes... I haven't seen a look like that in decades..." Lao muttered, practically sweating bullets. Then Paul shot at Lao, immediately cutting the bullets in two "Ha! Bullets won't do shit you-!" and then the cards were sent right into the man's chest, and cutting his right arm right off. Almost immediately, Lao's eyes widened in pain "AGH!" Lao quickly cartwheeled to the side, narrowly avoiding the poison card that would mean certain death "...!" immediately after, Lao fell onto his knees, bleeding. A puddle of blood gathered at his knees, an absolutely terrifyingly disturbing look on his face "You... you..." Lao's face was entirely shadowed. What he would do next... was a complete mystery. And then he looked at Paul with a terrifying look in his eyes "Y-you..." his glare intensified... and then... tears fell down his eyes. The old man suddenly started to cry "I can't take this...!" he suddenly cried, the man almost immediately began to cry grossly, a huge puddle of tears forming at his feat as waterfalls fell down his face "tHIS IS TOO MUCH!!" he cried, crying at his dismembered arm "BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BWWWAHAHAHAH hNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" he continued to cry in a rather disturbing fashion, as if he was a small child, it was actually somewhat disturbing.

Tate simply let out a chuckle as Juan roared at him--but then he heard Scia's whistle, and saw Taka flying around him--as well as the glint of the razor wire as the bird began closing in.
"Aww--what a cute trick!" he practically spat out, suddenly leaping into the air again, contorting his body swiftly again and again while in mid-air, each movement bypassing the razor wires by less than a centimeter, the metal zipping directly past his flesh as his precise movements carried him through the wires, up until a moment when it became clear that there was no spot for him big enough to fit through--and suddenly, his entire body was encased in pitch black snakes, which suddenly erupted forth from his body, snapping the wires around him and sending them haphazardly zinging out at the surrounding footmen and zombies, slicing them up like deli meats and sending a general smattering of blood over everyone and everything. Tate landed lithely upon his feet on the ground, brushing his bangs out of his face with a bloodied hand, smearing the plasma upon his face as his golden orbs seemed to glow out from the crimson mess. "Not good enough." And with this, he charged at the closest target: Juan. Snakes boiled up in a hissing mass around both of his arms as he rocketed himself towards the landshark, seemingly coming head on--only to skid to the side of the landshark and attack his flank with his claws. "Who's gonna protect your Daddy when you're mincemeat, huh--?!"
