Egil didn't really do much besides just resting on his knees in the doorway up until the moment when Liimu approached him. He looked up at her from where he knelt, then nodded when she asked if he had the burns--though adding once she was done talking,
"D-Don't waste your herbs on someone like me...it's my fault that I got these injuries...a-all my fault...everyone else who's coming back is g-gonna need them much, much more than me..." Truth be told, he was in a lot of pain--but he didn't feel like he deserved the herbs. He was a mix of disgusted and in awe of himself, and at this point, his mind was even more garbled up than usual. He managed to stand up, at the very least--that was a start. He was doing his best to try to not look distressed over his pain, and he wasn't doing a very good job of it...

Soon enough, following Egils words, the van drove up to the cathedral. Crispin popping out of the drivers seat and rushing to the back to open up the doors before addressing any of the present Deathworshippers. Once he'd done this, checking up on Cathys condition as he did so, he went over to the others,focusing Dantalion and Mocha.
I assume Egil probably told you, but Cathy lost an arm. One or both of you need to treat her now . 
He looked back at the others as he finished saying this, seeing them all in good shape, surprisingly Crona as well. Weird. With that throw, he'd been...more than a little sure the boy wouldn't be alive anymore let alone walking. Though, he did know first hand how hard it could be to actually die.
He turned back to Mocha and Dantalion, moving back to the van. He didn't really think leaving her alone was the best choice right now. If the Church of Crime, was going to be a problem now, they couldn't afford to loss anyone, let alone one of their leaders.

she said, and started to put the herbs where she saw visable burns. Her wolf came over and sat by her, looking up and around at everything going on. Spirit wolves were a funny thing. It went over to Egil and sat next to him, as if trying to give comfort. "All will be well...if anything, I'm a failure..I didn't hear about the battle until later. I wasn't fast enough. So now...I am pulling my weight to help...if only a little. Now, shirt off."she said, ready with the treatment cream stuff.

Egil saw Crispin come in and go back out, glad to see that he had made it back safely. He was still worried about Cathy, though...
As Liimu told him to sit down, Egil shifted a bit, moving out of the doorway, uncomfortably so because of his burns, and sat down in a place that wouldn't be in everyone's way, further into the cathedral. As she told him to take off his shirt, he blshed, but obligrd, gingerly removing his shirt and the top layer of his bodysuit.
"Th-Thank you..." he murmured to Liimu as se prepared the healing cream. "A-And...I didn't actually know about the b-battle until maybe halfway through it...C-Cathy might still have her arm if I had gotten there sooner..." Thinking about it that way only made Egil feel worse. Why hadn't he known about it sooner? He had been so happy while he'd been at the beach with Crispin, but at what cost...?

Crona jumped nearly out of his skin when he heard Kraven yell out his name. He tried to scurry up, but only ended up hurting himself, as he grabbed his sides and slowly slid back down into where he was sitting prior. He could feel himself wanting to throw up again, but his stomach at the moment was empty. Unless he continued to throw up his OWN black blood, then that would not be good at all... Crona slowly managed to stand up and walk towards where Kraven was. He heard him speak of the war, which Crona already knew of. He was a bit sad that he was thrown away before he could see Cain, but all in due time, he thought. He rubbed his arms a bit uncomfortably as he looked up to Kraven. When Kraven finished and stepped down, Crona followed after him as fast as he could. He knew Kraven was not exactly in the mood for talk.. But he felt like he had to do this...
"K-Kraven... I-I'm sorry I was unable to get you out of Rose... O-Or save C-C-Cathy's arm... I tried, I really did... I even managed to keep in control, for a little bit...." 
 He said, just wanting to apologize for what he deemed as a failure. He was just that kind of person.

she said as she listened to the man's speech. The prospect of going to war was a bit weird. But she understood. She knew that it would be time for that. For now, burn heal time. "This will sting a little. You are warned." she started to put the cream on it. She listened to Egil and shook her head. "If what I am hearing is what is true, then Mrs. Catherine's attack was inevitable. You did what you could when you could. That is all Father Death could ask. Plus, you survived. Survival of the Fittest, remember?" she kept applying the cream until it was all rubbed in. She nodded. "There we go...do you know of anyone else who would need this?"

As Egil heard Kraven call out to Crona, he felt his head dip slightly. Maybe Crona was just better with the killer gene than he was. Maybe his own years of service to Father Death meant nothng when compared to the pinkette's prowess--Egil din't know why Kraven was so fixated on Crona, and he couldn't deny that he was jealous. And he hated the fact that he was jealous--he didn't feel like he had the right. He disgusted himself--as always.
As Liimu applied the medicine, he bit his lip and finched slightly, trying to ignore th stinging--after all, it was nothing compared to the pain of the burns. He listened to Liimu's words, and while he was thankful for them and really truly did want to take them to heart--his mind wouldn't let him. It wasn't him that had survived--it was his killer gene that had saved him. As far as Egil knew, his killer gene was his only saving grace--and somebody who had joined the faction less tha two days ago was already better at it than he was.
'Useless,' he thought to himself, feeling his shoulders droop as Liimu finished applying the cream.
"Th-Thanks, Liimu...I feel better already...!" he gave her the best smile he could, trying to hid his quite obvious sullenness, up until she asked if anybody else needed the salve. "O-Oh--um...Cathy, Crispin, and Father Death...but I don't know if he really wants to be healed right now, so maybe Cathy and Crispin first...d-don't think I'm putting w-words into his mouth, though, please..."

Liimu heard Father Death and looked down at the floor. She shook her head a little. She didn't care if it was not worth it, these burns were painful, and to alleviate even a little bit of pain would be okay with her.  "Alright...I know I can't do much for Cathy...I know nothing in the medical field...but, I try...that's all that matters." she gave Egil his shirt and stood up. "Rest a little, yes? I will talk to Crispin." she went to look for the tiny blonde, finding him nearby.  "Would you like some relief...it's not a cure but...it'll help with your burns."

Before Kraven had answered him, he heard a familiar voice call his name. He turned to Cathy and smiled wide, the biggest smile he has given since he has met anyone here. Also the saddest smile he has shown. He gave a small wave to Cathy, and squeezed in a few words.
"Cathy! I-I'm glad you're still... Here.... I'm sorry I couldn't help... Please, rest well, don't worry about anyone... Get better" 
 He told her before Kraven took him by the shoulder, and lead him into a back place. He looked up to the older man as he said it was all ok, and Crona nodded a soft nod. He felt a bit better that Kraven saw promise in him- He might actually be able to be considered part of the Deathworshipers... He was like an unofficial member, considering that Kraven has taken him under his wing, but he would feel wanted and accepted if he were to be considered an official member. When Kraven motioned to a woman he had not seen when he walked in, Crona took a step back and held his arms. He stared at her, wondering if she was ok, before Kraven said that she was also a disciple. Crona's eyes went to Kraven, and they were sort of confused, but also understanding and knowing what he meant by classmate. Crona rubbed his arms uncomfortably as he looked at the girl, then back to Kraven. He sighed softly and finally, his eyes went to the floor.
"I need a lot more training and help... I-I'm still weak... Please Kraven... I need the help... I hate not being able to control this- Thing that is wrong with me, and it makes me feel bad when I try to hurt my friends... Or mess with... .... " 
Crona placed his hand over his mouth as he felt like he was going to throw up. He thought the last time would be the last one, but it was obvious that that was not the case.
"Poison... I bit her finger off- That's.... That's so gross.... ..... ...... ..... Ew....." 
He whimpered with a deep shiver.

Egil gave Liimu a nod, watching as she left before carefully pulling his shirt back on, then moving over to a pew and sitting down in it, his mind a bit blank for the moment, but a feeling of general melancholy hanging over him. He didn’t feel good enough to be worth anyone’s time right now. He wanted to lie down on the pew, but he knew that that would just aggravate his burns, so he stayed sitting up. Still, he felt uncomfortable all the same. He had a lot of conflicting feelings bubbling around inside the pit of his stomach right now—a feeling of incompetency, of jealousy, of his general state of sadness—and beneath it all still lingered his awe over Cain’s power. He felt bad that he wasn’t doing anything productive as of the moment—but Kraven had told them all to relax, so at least he was doing something right, he thought. For once…not that Father Death would care, he reminded himself silently as he pulled his knees up to his chest, sitting on the pew curled up with his chin resting on his knes before he shifted his view to look downwards, hiding his face. He had the strongest urge to cry right now—and he didn’t even know why. He wanted to feel better—but he didn’t know how to do that, either. He never did.
”It’s okay…I’m okay…i-it’s…okay…” he whispered to himself, forcing the tears back away into the recesses of his mind. He’d already cried plenty today, and he didn’t need to embarrass himself even more than he already had.

Crispin watched as Mocha walked over to Cathy. He had managed to catch sight of Egil before heading back out to the van. So the boy had made it back safely. That was good. With the Church of Crime on the rise again, he'd be looking more thoroughly into them, as cryptic the information on them there was, but he was aware of one thing, its interest in people with the Killer Gene. He was glad nothing had happened to him.
Crispin turned from the two women in the van as Kraven spoke. I looked like this wasn't over. He hadn't thought it was, but the mans declaration made what was to come all the more real. Survival of the Fittest. Next time, he needed to be able to do more. He turned back to what was going on inside the van as Cathy woke up, soon being taken care of by Mocha.
Crispin steeped back to give the woman more space as she was carried in the cathedral. He looked down at his vita, just now seeing his project partner had tried to get in touch with him. He touched the screen, a line of coding appearing under his finger. To anyone looking at it from this end, it would look like pure technobabble, however on Rooks end it would appear appear as the simple message. You were trying to get in touch? Sorry, we were dealing with...stuff over here.
It wasn't worth the energy actually trying to explain that they'd been fighting a tentacle monster. He looked up from the screen as he heard Liimu's voice. His nanos had deal with majority of the burns, though he could still feel burning from areas that hadn't been treated yet. He nodded slightly.
That would be nice. Thank you. Most of my burns have already been dealt with, but there's still a few. 
He pointed them out to the woman.

Liimu nodded and started to work on some of the burns she could see. She knew about the Nanos so, it wasn't that bad of wounds. They weren't going to hurt him as much as Egil or Crona. She felt bad she couldn't do more, but honestly with Dantalion and Mocha taking care of Cathy, she was sure that'd be back in shape in no time.   "It will sting...but this will help with the pain. Your nanos are doing the rest yes?" she smiled and finished up. "There...is there anything else I can do?" thought to ask. Might as well.

The young adult looked up at Kraven and smiled a bit before lowering his gaze. He gave a gentle nod to his words, agreeing.
"I would never dream of hurting you guys or anyone that you see as your allies... You helped me and are caring for me, and are even teaching me how to be better and stronger... I wouldn't want to hurt any of you guys..." 
 He said softly. He bit his bottom lip and looked away a bit.
"I want to be part of you guys but... I want to be a different person... I... Don't like being this way... So scared and wanting to hide..." 
Crona sighed and looked over to the female again. When was she to wake up? He was unsure, and he didn't even know who she was, but he hoped she was ok. Crona looked up to Kraven, curious about something.
"Cain... He's... Really bad, right? He is with Rose and Poison? We need to... Get rid of them... But how...? It seems like nothing is a match to their black blood powers..." 
He said with a worried expression.

Egil tentatively looked over his shoulder as he heard Crispin speaking with Liimu--so he was being treated...that was good...He turned back around, and since he was still curled up sitting on the pew, went ahead and flopped over onto his not-burned side, still curled up as he was lying there on the pew. He didn't close his eyes or try to sleep or anything--he could never get to sleep unless he was so tired that he would fall asleep immediately. He thought too hard about things if he was allowed to lie around there and try to sleep.
Since he was feeling prety down and out at that moment, he figured he could try to cheer himself up a little bit--or something...He pulled out his notepad, which was luckily unscathed since it had been in his pocket, along with a pen, and opened up to a blank page, absentmindedly drawing loops and spirals on the lined page, trying his best to focus on his drawings and not on how shitty and unimportant he felt in that moment. In fact, he felt a little light-headed. Had he drank any water recently? He couldn't remember--it would probably be a good idea to grab a drink, but right now, he also kind of didn't feel like moving. He tried to think about things that he liked--birds flying high up in the sky, clouds, cold weather that let you curl up under warm blankets--things like that. Anything to distract himself from the fact that he felt so dizzy that he felt like he was going to fall off the chair--or the fact that he was having trouble considering anyone as ever having liked or appreciated him--even though he knew that Crispin, among other people, liked and appreciated him, his heart just couldn't agree. His emotions wouldn't cooperate. He wanted to believe in reality, but reality wasn't a thing he could accept. The spirals on his notepad paper began to grow more jagged, and he quickly flipped to a fresh page, opting to drawing swirly flowers instead. Maybe those would be a bit calmer...

An Unsure Murmur - Unravel

Dantalion powered down his vehicle once Liimu ran out.  Stepping back out again, he just looked the other way when she shot a pointed glare in his direction blatantly acting as if it wasn't his fault when he knew it was.  He went ahead and made his way to the others.  Hearing what Crispin said about Cathy's condition, he followed Mocha over to their leader.  What Crona had said about her was most certainly true.  Her arm was torn off and replaced with a spatula?  All in all, she looked as if she were about to keel over.  It was at this moment that Kraven burst into the scene with a serious announcement.  He put a hand to his mouth in thought at the words he heard.  The infamous Cain.  To have taken him on, it was intriguing.  He would keep these thoughts to himself however.  He turned his attention back to Cathy as she woke.  Then he turned to Kraven as he spoke to him and Mocha with regards to Cathy's type of injury as well as what they should do.  For a split second there was a flash of irritation on his face when he was told that these particular type of injuries weren't something he could repair quite so easily.  His emerald eyes flicked back down Cathy then did his best to give her a reassuring smile.  Too bad smiles on him always looked a bit creepy with his needlepoint teeth.  He looked back to Mocha as she asked him what should be done about her arm.  He hovered over Cathy to further inspect her injuries.  "First things first, we're going to need to remove that," he said pointing to the spatula jutting from her stump arm.  "It will hurt and cause an increase of blood flow from the injury so could you make a tourniquet?" he asked Mocha.  Then he looked to Liimu, "If you could do something to help ease the pain, I'm sure Cathy would appreciate that," he said with a smile.  He wasn't about to try fixing the wound until the spatula was gone.
