Ghost town (Grim Death)

Was a thriving town until Grim death came in and wiped everyone out now instead of lights and laughter one would would find a eerie fog (all the time no matter what time of day or season) and dense cemetery almost making a perfect circle around the town. If one listens carefully enough you can almost hear the wails of the towns people crying for help. This town is now the base of operations for Grim Death instead of Scarlet City for the time being because of some renovations to the main base in the SC.

Rika had been sitting in what seemed to be the dead towns armory for what seemed to be days taking stock, as well as doing tweaking and enhancing what little goodies she had taken from this town. A lot of this was unnecessary because they had a very large arsenal at their disposal because of the renovations to the main base in Scarlet City a good deal of her wears were with her at this new "home base" but still the dissary of these weapons made her feel like she needed to make them better and why the hell not she had nothing better to do.

Sometimes, Marko genuinely wondered how he ended up with some of the people he had. He worked for a necrozoophile way back when. And now he was working for an omnicidal maniac that would outright massacre a town for the sake of setting up a camp. Was he a villain? Because it felt like it.
He pondered these things, leaning against his garishly painted vardo. He shook his head so as to ensure he didn't voice these thoughts. He entered the armory slowly. "Rika. It's m-me, Marko. Are w-we actually doing anything h-h-here?"

Rika looked up when Marko spoke to her she had grease on her face and arms and tools in her mouth and hands. She tried to speak but then remembered the tools in her mouth and quickly removed them "yup this is our new home until the renovations on the Scarlet City base is done, they have a large supply of nitro glycerin here, was their main export you know thats how I knew about this town that and a few other reasons but lets not spoil the fun, wanna go blow some shit up with the new toy I made?" she held up something that looked like a paper airplane with a green tint and a smile on her face.

I've worked with enough terrorists in my day, I'm good, Marko thought but dared not voice. "N-no thank you. M-mind if I scout a b-b-bit? Learn the lay of the land, build some c-connections?" He hoped to high heavens that he could. He was getting squeamish thinking about everything about this situation.
He didn't know how he felt about Isabella, but he regarded her welcomingly as she came in with a slight wave.

Rika got up and brushed herself off with the explosive airplane in her hand still noting that Isabella had come in and was talking about organizing the armory "ah Isabella Marko doesn't want to seem to want to blow things up with me do you want to?" she smiled at the woman then turned her attention back to Marko with a suddenly very serious look on her face " If you wish but you will find a pit on the edge of town filled with ooze, don't touch it thats how they dealt with outsiders here and I rather not loose one of my best to corrosive flesh eating ooze"

Ooze? What do you take me for, some kind of moron? he thought as he spun on his heels and hopped into his vardo. Windows rolled up and doors shut, he just had to release his frustration. He slammed in a cassette of A Vulgar Display of Power, mashed the gas, and screamed.

On his way out he saw a burbling pit. "Wat het neuken neuk is die verdomde stront ?! Dit is een soort van science fiction kletskoek! Oh god ik moet hier weg en NIET MEER TERUG." He didn't know where he was headed, but he was headed somewhere.

Rika sighed "We arent wasting the goods Isabella, we are trying this new one out to see if it is sellable or not, we have a certain amount of prestige to live up to and making and distributing new goods is part of that but first I have to check to see if the item in question works like desired or not, its important to the buyers you know plus a detailed report on the effect it has when used is always necessary" She started to sound more like the professional arms dealing boss that she was at this point "after the report for this new item is done then you may reorganize but ask before assuming anything about the weapons that were here before all of them have been modified and I have yet to classify"

Marko, since the FIRST PLACE HE WENT BECAME A WARZONE, was at a loss for elsewhere to go. He metaphorically tucked his tail between his legs and stopped in front of the armory, assuming Rika was still counting things. He turned off the vardo and walked on it, head down. He raised his voice, "Madame Rose, je suis de retour. Je suis allé à une ville pittoresque qui est devenue rapidement une zone de guerre. Je suis sorti de là dès que possible. Au moins, cette économie de guerre va nous aider, non?"

Rika let out a sigh when she heard Vulture and "Rabbit", because that meant Bunny one of the few people who she met that she didn't like and didn't like her she slightly frowned "Bunny would be who you are talking about she is a ranked assassin like my boyfriend" before she could respond to Isabella though her phone rang and she looked down to see it was said boyfriend who was supposed to be on a job "I have to take this" She walked out of the room and was gone for a decent amount of time before coming back in "seems like the ranked ones, aka my makeshift family and boyfriend need me for a bit I have a jet ready to take me to their location , but while I am gone keep things in order and organize also make sure the local business gets done, and no new deals or dealings are to be had while I am away if Bunny was there somethings going down" with that she walked out to the whirling of a jet noise and as some time went by and the jet had taken off the noise got fainter and fainter until the two on base where alone with the footmen.

Rika was on the airplane when she once again got a call from Ash and she had a slight non happy look on her face when he was explaining what he was to her. It had only been an hour or so but she stomped up to the front of the plane and turned it around back to her base to deal with some new business instead of having to go see her man and any new toys he had. Bottom line she was very very unhappy.
