”I-I don’t actually know any places around here…” Egil murmured after a moment—he hadn’t really gone anywhere besides inside the cathedral unless it had been for a job, so…he didn’t really know many places. Still, there had to be somewhere out there… ”Maybe we can look up a place on your Vita…? Can it do that?” Egil sat up a little bit more in his seat, closing his sketchpad and getting a bit more invested in the conversation now that it was in full swing. He was still avoiding direct eye contact, but did seem to be looking at Crispin a little bit more than before—which was definitely an improvement, at the very least. ”If we could look places up, we might even be able to pick the kind of food that we could get…!”

Dantalion shifted his weight onto one leg and moved some hair from his face causing the small metal ornaments at the ends to jingle as they hit against each other.  He chuckled lowly, "I guess it really seems that way doesn't it?" he questioned rhetorically.  He put a finger to his mouth as if he were thinking for a moment, "Well, I think everyone is taking a bit of downtime since the raid to retrieve Kraven.  Fixing up their bodies was a bit taxing on my part but it also puts some strain on their bodies as well since it is their flesh that is forced to move.  I guess you could call this idleness a recovery period, no?" he responded with a lifted eyebrow.  Right now, he also wasn't feeling up to restoring his more human appearance as he continued to done his pointed ears and curved horns.  He probably wouldn't revert back until they went back out in public.  In here, it didn't matter, it was one of the very few places that didn't.

Since he hadn't really had any reason to, Crispin hadn't looked up any restaurants either. There was probably somewhere they could go. After a moment, the pink on the vitas screen faded away into a neutral white as names starting popping up on the screen. Crispin scrawled through the list, slowing down for a moment when he saw the word biscuit, but then quickly moving past it as he read the word porn attached to it. The location faded from the list the instant he passed it. After a quick survey of the list, he nodded.    
Sure....You can do that. I'm sure you'll find something nice.
Crispin moved closer to the silverette, quietly holding out the vita, as the list scrolled down from the top.
We might. My taste in food isn't too picky, so most of what you'll like I'll probably like.
Then came Laina and Crispins somber semblance of a smile quickly faded away. He looked away from the woman at her suggestion he sit on Egils lap, searching for the right thing to say.
I don't think they would, Laina. As.....nice..... as that would be, my car works fine and we were hoping to have some time to ourselves.
He hoped the woman could understand that. Considering this was Laina, he wasn't holding his breath, but still. He looked at Egil, trying to gauge to silverettes reaction.

Egil nodded to Crispin, flushing slightly as the blonde moved closer—Egil never knew what to do about proximity. Still, he moved his eyes to the screen of the vita as Crispin scrolled through the restaurants, watching them as they went by. Egil hadn’t actually realized how many places to eat there were—unfortunately, a large number of them looked awfully sketchy…
And then suddenly Laina came inside the booth. And then again with the nicknames…And at the prospect of her coming along, his face seemed to fall slightly. He didn’t want her coming along…but he knew that he didn’t have it in him to say no. As she went on to describe Crispin sitting on his lap, Egil’s face burned bright red just at the thought of it, immediately looking down at his lap where he sat, as if curling up in a shell like a turtle, receding back into himself. The other nickname just confused him, but it still made him feel worse—was he not even worth enough for Laina to so much as remember his name…?
Thankfully, unlike Egil, Crispin actually had the capacity to say no to people. The silverette looked up just barely as Crispin spoke, still trying to hide the majority of his face. It was true—they could go in Crispin’s car, or Egil’s own motorcycle, or something…he just hoped that Crispin’s convincing got Laian off their backs…

Thinking about it, it made sense. Everyone was pretty tired after going to get Kraven back. She herself could use rest, but felt odd going to slumber on her own. She nodded, turning her head and letting out a huge yawn.
"I suppose. That is true. But what to do in this time of rest...besides rest."
she said, sitting on the floor and pulling her legs in. She kind of stared at the floor a tiny bit, not really knowing what to do with herself, but let her body rest. "I guess...would you like to engage in further conversation? I was enjoying our talk earlier..." she asked, looking up at him.

Dantalion looked over to Liimu as she spoke before sitting on the ground.  He went ahead took a seat on the ground beside her and sat in a similar fashion giving her a smile.  "I'd love to," he replied getting settled on the ground.  "Now," he began, "I honestly would like to understand who the Earth Mother is exactly.  Would you be willing to share?" he asked with a curious tone.

Liimu looked surprised an Dantalion. She looked at him like he was stupid. Who DIDN'T know about the Earth Mother? But, she was also surprised he wanted to know so...that was nice.
"The Earth Mother is...everything. Every natural force is her doing. Every tree, blade of grass...leaf...is her doing. She controls the wind and rain, the sun and mist. She's nature itself."
she said, smiling to herself. She liked talking about this. It was fun...and she was glad she could educate someone. "And as her chosen...like Mocha...we hold the powers of the spirits...to help move things along."

Dantalion chuckled seeing Liimu's reaction to his blatant curiosity.  "Now, I wasn't exactly able to see the light of day for a long time so I'm still quite clueless as to how this world works," he said in a joking manner alluding to his literally dark childhood as if it wasn't a big deal.  Then he listened to her explanation of this entity.  "So you believe psychics to be chosen by Earth Mother?" he asked as he began to mull over thoughts in his head.  Then he lifted an eyebrow and looked back to her, "And what of ones like me?" he asked specifically of the group of outcasted "freaks" that he fell into.

He was a Deathworshipper and her comrade. She didn't see anything wrong.

Crispins frown deepened as he saw Egil was back to hiding his face. He hadn't seen Egil smile in a while. It had been nice.....It had helped him feel a little more light than usual. It had just been having able to talk to the other boy in relative quiet and knowing Egil, if Laina asked him he wouldn't have it in him to say she couldn't come.
Luckily the pinkette actually seemed to be listening to him for once. He nodded, ignoring the wink.
Alright. Thanks, Laina. We'll be sure to take care of each other.
Crispin looked at Egil as the woman started fishing through her pockets, looking down at the small package, then looking up at Laina. He started to want to give her some credit for explaining her nickname fetish, but then again she had just given him a condom so he was pretty sure that ship had sailed. He just stared at her, watching her leave before throwing the foil packet at the furthest wall, wringing his hands as if they were unclean from contact with the small shape. He pulled the brim of his hat down even further, not able to make eye contact with the silverette after that.  
...I wasn't...I didn't ask you if you to..... she's being... .Food, what kind of food do you want to eat publicly?
Crispin looked down at his vita, trying to remember how to even form words. Right now all he was really mustering was a mix of garble and the kind of talk that usually work in his games. Talk he didn't want to actually use in real life, not with Egil. He would probably react differently than a computer program. His voice came out after several long minutes, barely above a whisper.

Egil was so huddled up that he didn’t actually quite see what Laina tossed to Crispin—although when the redhead addressed him, he peeked up slightly. The news about the nicknames was…somewhat relieving. Although Egil then realized within the next second that his perceiving the nickname thing incorrectly had probably made Laina uncomfortable…was he really that incapable of doing a single thing right, he asked himself without words, only thoughts—so incapable that he ended up making Laina want to leave like that? He felt his shoulders droop somewhat, doing what he could to not make his expression drop into one of despondency. He couldn’t do that—he had to focus on Crispin right now. He didn’t want the blonde thinking that he had upset up. Speaking of which, Laina had mentioned…butt stuff…? Egil looked up, finally actually seeing what Laina had given to Crispin when the blonde threw it against the wall—and as he saw what it was, his entire face burned bright crimson, and he quickly hid it behind his sketchbook, curling up even more and letting out a somewhat distressed whimper. After a moment, as Crispin spoke again, Egil peeked just his eyes over the top o the sketchpad, his face still beet-red, his voice very quiet,
”R-Right…f-f-food…I-I would be okay with…a-anything…” He trailed off slightly, hesitating as he waited for Crispin to speak again, although when Crispin asked if he still wanted to do this, he managed to give a pretty resolute nod—he would much rather go to the beach and go eat with Crispin than stay in a cathedral full of loud people with screaming coming from the basement.
