West City // Conquer Town Ruins (Decimated)

Welcome to Conquer Town!

A town that was one of the first to get running water, electricity, and heating aside from Highend due to hard work. This was the town that Jade Fentom created to show everyone that they weren't afraid to hide from the others like Vulture Team, and promised great things if you joined him in his conquest for world peace. It however is now in ruins due to a strike of Black Dragon and the Family. Most of the supplies have been taken since it fell, but some things are in working condition. This was the place that Jade staked his dreams in... And the place he died. His body was taken out of his office some time ago and was buried... The streets are empty, and the buildings feel haunted by his spirit.

"HELL-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Holiday Killer?! YA OUT THEEEEEERE?!" Kayden yelled from atop one of the ruined buildings in what used to be Conqueror Town, as landsharks milled about in the streets below, apparently also searching. Kayden paused for a moment when he got no reply, then shouted even louder,
"MAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
The Polo never came. It actually made him kind of sad. He sat down on the edge of the building, screwing up his face a bit as he thought. "If I were a serial killer, where would I be...hm..." He stood again, heading over to the fire escape of the building and sauntering down it, then moving through the sea of landsharks once he'd reached the ground, still pondering. "Probably not in Fentom's office...angry ghosts and whatnot...where else would he be...?"

Atlas' Theme

Atlas hid in the Shadows atop one of the buildings nearby Kayden and his platoon of shark-men... He had heard tales of these monsters... they didn't know what real monsters were... Atlas whispered to Scarecrow... Ready?
As Always Atlas...hehehe.
Atlas reached deep into his mind... suddenly everything around him seemed slower, more detailed, more vibrant and alive... Synchrosis complete.... His eyes if he were to look at them in a mirror would appear more a purplish color... for the moment he and Scarecrow were both melded and in control of his body, his senses were hot wired on overdrive... they were a single they at the time not two I's anymore... this required intense focus on both their parts and equal intent to accomplish the same goal, this was normally a last resort however in the current situation, they needed being outnumbered by those things... they were frightening like this, as Scarecrow said once "As I we are normal and man like... as they we are a true monster."... They took aim at the Land-Sharks in the back of the group with the new bow and pulled back the string knocking a long black arrow... he released the first one and silently hit a shark in the back of the neck, it toppled over and as a second one went to investigate his comrade falling They Fired a second arrow into the Land-Sharks eye it yelled and with a third shaft They struck it in the mouth, it gurgled and fell violently before dying... They ducked into the shadows and ran up the other side of the roof silently and stopped listening for a reaction from the group.

As Kayden heard a thud, he perked up a bit, wondering what the noise was--only to see a landshark fallen on the ground. And then--another fell as well. He gasped, then ran over to them quickly.
"Phil! AND--" he gave another, quite large, gasp of shock. "PHYLLIS." A look of horror upon his face, he quickly tugged one of the arrows from the landshark's carcass, looking at it for a moment before turning to the other landsharks and holding up the arrow, calling, "Any of you guys seen who did this?!" He got no real response from the sharks--and frustrated, he snapped the arrow in half over his knee, before throwing the separate halves away. He knelt down for a moment, placing his hands onto the dead landsharks. "Rest in peace, Phil, Phyllis. May ya dance 'n sing 'n eat plenty of baby otters up in landshark heaven. A-MEN." He then stood up quickly, glaring out at the seemingly empty city before them, eyes watching carefully for any sign of movement. The landsharks seemed to be--well, slightly less ready--but hungry. Very hungry. Kayden reached into his vest, pulling out one handgun in each hand, taking off the safetys and cocking both firearms, before warily beginning to move forward from the carcasses, a sort of deadly calm on his face as he quietly called,
"Maaaarrrrcoooooo...ya better say Polo this time, ya fuckerrrrrr..."

They thought as a single unit... they peered over the edge... they looked at Kayden then the Sharks then down the streets... They looked over to the other building then ran for it... They jumped over the edge of the building throwing two bolas at two of the other Land-Sharks catching the sharks around the jaws and neck, the Land-Sharks teeth ground against each other as they futilely struggled against the steel cables... They reached the lower half of the building on the other side of the narrow street... They activated their cybernetics which stopped them on the wall... they then climbed up to the top of the opposing building and stood on the edge of the roof... They spoke in a voice as if Scarecrow echoed Atlas... You and your guppy men are more harmless than we heard, we're not impressed.

Kayden watched the series of attacks that struck the landsharks next, not seeming to panic at all, really. In fact, as he watched, and the adrenaline began to build in the anticipation of finally seeing his target...he found himself actually getting excited...
As Atlas spoke, Kayden whirled around to face the man, both guns pointed at the silverette, a wild grin on his face as he spoke one word, seeming to completely disregard Atlas's actual words:
"Polo."
And then, he unloaded both of his clips in Atlas' direction, his eyes practically lighting up as he saw the bullets fly.

They thought in singular... "Move!"... They pulled from their Jacket the Kanabō and spun it behind them as they ran across the roof top away from Kayden, then they quickly ducked back into the shadows... Even with all of that however a bullet grazed their left ear bleeding slightly... They continued to keep their eyes on Kayden the entire time and then threw their voice as to hide their location more thoroughly while moving across the roof... Fine Sir We'll Play Your Game of Marco and Polo let's see if you can find us!... They ran across the side of the roof where Kayden and his Sharks couldn't see them silently then jumped into an alley between the two buildings using their cybernetics to hold on to the side of one wall and threw their voice down the ally and it echoed everywhere down the street, their exact location undefinable by human ears... We believe it's your turn Sir... Polo.

Kayden watched with a subtle smile on his face as Atlas retreated, then heard the man's message. He paused for a moment, then looked over as the landsharks that were still up began to become more restless, milling about faster and...sniffing the air...?
A huge grin spread across Kayden's face, as he turned to one of the landsharks and spoke to it,
"What's that, Phil? Ya smell...blood, maybe? Yeah, must be...your shark genes gave ya a good sniffer for blood, yeah...? Well then...how's about this...ya find that guy, and you can eat 'im! That goes for all of ya--find th' source of that blood, and ya can all chow down!" While the landsharks didn't have the same degree of intelligence as Juan, and as such couldn't verbally answer--they understood the familiar words that Kayden was speaking. Blood. Find. Eat.
The sharks scattered, many of them beginning to close in on Atlas' position thanks to their acute sense of smell zero-ing in on the wound on the man's ear.
"Let's play, then!" Kayden called to Atlas, a wicked smirk on his face as he began following the vast majority of landsharks, who were moving closer to the alley that Atlas was in, keeping the both of his guns at the ready. "Maaaarrrrcoooo..."

They watched Kayden and the Sharks fall into their trap... They squeezed their ear dripping more blood onto their Jacket... They looked at the area, "Six Shark Men in the Alley, and The Green Guy... the rest of them are in the street... We can handle this..." They pulled back the bow with eight arrows then aimed and showered a cluster of Sharks, two missing, two hitting one shark in the chest and the other in the arm, one hitting another shark's knee, another two hit two Land-Sharks in the back, and the last one landing in a Shark's eye but not killing it... Damn thing's brain wasn't near the eye, plus it was probably the size of a golf ball... While the Sharks were distracted he deactivated his cybernetics and fell atop Kayden his Bow in one hand His Kanabō in the other and the two of them rolled in a brawl for a moment before Atlas/Scarecrow got up and ran away down the back alley headed south...Polo!... (EXIT)

Kayden kind of laid there on the ground for a split second, registering the situation, and leaping up onto his feet in an instant, firing a few shots down the alley at Atlas--but only heard clicking, realizing that he'd emptied his clips earlier. He hastily began working on reloading as he began to give chase--and boy, was he mad. Kayden was indeed the landshark-mama--these were kind of his babies.
"I'll be back--! STAY!" Kayden called to the landsharks, knowing that they would understand that last command. He dashed after Atlas down the alley, yelling after him,
"GET BACK HERE YA PHIL MURDERIN' BASTARD--! I'M GONNA TURN YA INT' SWISS CHEESE!"

Tate walked into the remains of Conqueror Town, glancing around looking quite unimpressed, then yawning, stretching his arms a bit.
"Well...this place sure is dull..." he grumbled, looking around. There really wasn't anyone there, but for a few people that seemed to be living in the ruins. And...well, they needed to leave. Tate stepped forward a bit, clearing his throat loudly to get the attention to the random people who were there--before suddenly letting a clump of snakes burst forth from his body--effectively either scaring off or mutilating any of the hobos nearby. He would have preferred mutilating all of them, but he was feeling lazy--so those hobos who ran away would get to live another day.
Either way--it looked like Black Dragon had officially taken over the area-- "...Okay then."

I've lasted this long in this shithole. I'm in this for the long haul and I can promise you this. I don't go down freaking easily!
Elisa entered Conqueror Town, glaring as she still felt the stain of Jades presence on the place. Though, she had to agree with Tate on this. There was nothing here. She looked at the few people squatting in the ruins disappointed. These bastards wouldn't be able to put up a remotely interesting fight if their lives depended on it, which they did. That was a shame. She still had so much energy to kill too.
She stood out of Tate's way as he released his snakes on the poor bums. She almost felt bad for them...almost. That still didn't stop her from gunning down all of the fleeing hobos. She didn't feel like dealing with the possibility of them being trouble later. They wanted the territory to be known as theirs, but they didn't want people fucking with them before they'd established a strong hold on the area. She kept the gun out in case anyone of actual skill appeared, turning to Tate,
Well that was easy. I was expecting some kind of challenge to this, but they were pitiful.

Cassius scowled as he walked into Conqueror Town behind the others, eyes checking behind rubble and under leaning pieces of debris- this was... pathetic. Disheartening. Disappointing. He'd hoped for more blood than this, damn it...! "So drab..." he sighed, rolling his eyes and fingering the hilt of his sword as he kicked one of the fallen corpses, wrinkling his nose as it made a moaning sound. So it wasn't dead. Without really looking, he stomped his foot down on the hobos head, resulting in some unpleasant cracking sounds and some squelching noises as well- which seemed to draw a bit of a smile to Cassius' face as he sighed and leaned against a barely standing wall. "At least this was easy-? I would love a good fight, but of course, it's nice to know there's nobody stupid enough to put up a fight..."

"Of course we can take them," Jasper murmured, stepping up alongside Rommel. He'd been quiet before... but as his cybernetics scanned the group and started pulling up the info he had access to, he let out a low whistle. "... Yeah, we can definitely take these pieces of shit--" He smirked then, pleased with the thought of actually getting a chance to beat the ever living shit out of something as he reached for his guns, checking to ensure they were loaded before glancing at Jo. "On your command, Miss Beaumont." He was being a shit just because he could, clearly.

At the sound of a shout, Tate seemed to perk up a bit--and as soon as the word 'kill' graced the air, he looked over his shoulder at the new arrivals, grinning ominously. Soon, he walked a few paces to stand on a piece of rubble, calling over to Jo,
"Deathworshippers?! How rude! Please, don't compare us to the likes of those freaks." He crossed his arms, standing atop the rubble quite casually and giving the task force a placid smile. "So...you're here to take this territory...? And here I thought that we'd be the only ones after this dump...Alright, now...listen up, kids..." A snake slithered its way up onto Tate's shoulder, and he reached a hand up to pet it gently as he continued to speak to the task force. "You've all shown up at an ideal time, actually. I'm practically dying of boredom over here, and popping a few grunts like balloons should be fun...You could leave now and avoid all of that, of course. I'm a generous guy. I'll let you leave with your heads in tact if you just stick your tails between your legs and turn around now. But, if you want to stay that badly...well. I've gotta admit that myself, and my friends back there, all have a bit of a love for a bit of blood here and there..." He paused for a moment to sneer at Jo, then turned his head to look back at his team. "What do you think, Cassius? You're the beauty expert here. Got any interior design knowledge? I'm thinking that this place would look great in red..." He turned back to look at Jo again, his facial expression suddenly quite vacant as he continued to lightly stroke the snake that was perched upon his shoulder. "Your move, Blue..."

Dianhua had arrived with the rest, beaming with excitement-- especially when Tate did that thing with the snakes to the hobos. Yeah, that was hot. And-- this territory was their`s! Hurray! At least- up until some really loud lady with an updated gun and even more outdated figure started-- well, being loud. Dianhua lowered his eyebrows, slooowly turning to face the new nuisances with the most 'are you kidding me right now' fact to ever happen ever. He opened his mouth, about to ask Tate if he should go take care of these hooligans himself- when the Cat went ahead and spoke. Dianhua stood vigilant by his side, eye roaming over the targets in question-- he wasn`t exactly looking forward to a fight, but...

Elisa glared at the newcomers as she heard them compare the clan members present to deathworshippers. Oh fuck them. Just fuck them. No one got away with something like that. She pointed her guns at Jo and the others practicably shaking form anger. Tate was summing up how she felt pretty well,though she probably would have added a few more colorful words, but she was going to let him speak for them at the moment. Elisa smirked as she saw the flicker in Jos expression. It really was hilarious to watch. This woman was scared shitless by Tate's snakes. It made her glad to be on his side at the moment. Her smiled widened at Jo's words.
Well its about fucking time!
She looked at Tate, for a moment, signaling she was ready to attack. Her adrenaline already building.

Jasper remained patient and at the ready as Jo told them to hold their fire- but as Zombie's bullet ricocheted right for Tate, and Jo then gave the order to attack, he grinned. He rather quickly put his guns away and instead pulled an umbrella from inside his coat, humming a slow, music box sort of tune as he started forward, swinging the object in his hands- before suddenly stabbing a corpse with the tip of it, and then proceeding to open it and brace it upon his shoulder as he strolled forward, ignoring the drops of blood that fell to the ground around him as they rolled down the clear plastic-like material. His eyes scanned the group of Black Dragon officers, before falling on a rather cute, purple-haired individual. He would do well- he already had files on him pulled up as he checked him out. Quietly, he approached him, bouncing his umbrella on his shoulder. "Dianhua Nanhai... you're a cutie, I must say... and you look so innocent too--! Why, it's almost hard to believe you're fighting... your attire would look much better elsewhere- particularly, not on your body." The male smirked some as he edged closer, but of course, that was blocked from sight. "Speaking of improving your looks... I'd rather say I'd like to see you all tied up like a pretty little present, free for the taking... The sounds of your moans and whimpers would be so wonderful- and of course, I'd make it feel good for you... What do you say-? Care to dance? You know it would be so much nicer than actually fighting..." Jasper finally seemed to have finished with his innuendo laden speech, and he was still smirking as he prepared for the male's retaliation- though, he noticed something as he flicked through the file they had on him... "Or perhaps I could even dress up all pretty for you like your beloved Tate... you would enjoy that, wouldn't you...?" Jasper gave a low, amused chuckle, clearly getting a kick out of trying to rile up the other- he was still in a rather bad mood, and if he could fuck with someone else... he was most certainly going to take the chance to.

As Tate heard the first gunshot resound throughout the area, but didn't see its immediate source, he was quick to encase his entire body in a squirming mass of snakes--however, from what he could sense, neither the first shot or the second shot even made contact with his psychic serpents. He dispelled the sea of snakes a bit to look through--and as he heard what Brandr said, a grin broke out across his face. Being addressed with that high of respect...felt good. Really good.
"Alright..." Tate's eyes practically seemed to gleam as he responded. "Everyone...I've got just one thing I want you all to do: Splatter this trash across the ground! We gave them their chance, and they threw our generosity right back at us--now let's show them what we do with people who stand in our way!"
