Bunny heard what was going on. Now she didn't give two shits about Akuryo's message. The small child behind her was her priority. She grabbed Chelsea, holding her tightly against a wall, taking the brunt of the attack. She grunted as she felt bullets pirece her body. She started to shake. Not a good start. She turned to see some...beast. What the fuck was that?
"What....WHO ARE YOU!?" Bunny shouted, turning slightly to keep Chelsea alive. "Chelsea, get out now! I want you to find JO and Ryder and warn them. I'll hold him off." she said.

Kat heard lots of gun shots...and was scared. She went out to see what was up.
"This can...only be really bad interrupt my me time." she said, growling.

She hummed, putting one hand on her forehead, the other at her side, subtly brushing against Ryder`s hand. Jo tugged her eye patch off gently, keeping it in her grasp as she used one arm to cover her face. "... I really do.." She begun to lull into a much needed sleep, a gentle smile on her features as she did...

And then there was a loud crash. Jo shot up from her bed with a short shriek, the harsh rise and fall of her chest indicating her shock. Her gaze snapped towards her door as she suddenly heard the sound of rippling gunfire. And then it just.. stopped. "... Ugh, crap." That wasn`t a good sign. She stood up, hurriedly tying her eye patch around her head again. She put a hand on Ryder`s knee, desperately shaking him. "R-Ryder! Get up!" She barked at him, reaching under her pillow afterwards and pulling out her revolver. She tossed it atop her redheaded friend, instead pulling her tommy gun out from a drawer. She rushed over to the other side of her room, tugging a combat knife out from where it had been previously stabbed into the wall. She tucked the weapon into her pocket, cocking her gun up steadily. She shook her head, trying to force her tiredness away, though it still remained, much to her dismay. Jo quickly went over her course of actions in her mind, heading over to her desk and picking up her communicator. "Attention all officers! This is 'The Boss'; can someone please tell me what the hell is going on out there?! If this is someone`s idea of a joke, I swear...!"

Chelsea felt her throat tighten in fear as she looked up at Bunny, seeing the woman shaking from being injured. As she looked around Bunny, she saw the person who was attacking...and upon looking at the man's head, well--he looked like a robot straight out of a comic book...She looked back to Bunny, pausing for just a split second, then nodding, taking off away from Bunny, Akuryo, and The Inquisitor, dashing down the hall as fast as she could. She continued down the halls until she got to the area with the bedrooms, skidding to a halt in front of her own room for a moment. She ran inside, picking up her laptop case, which contained her computer, and pulling the strap over her shoulder. If that man was a machine--well, maybe she could at least help slow him down.
Once she was done in her room, she went back into the hall, taking off again. Ryder's room was closer--but as she came to it, she saw that he wasn't in there. She could feel her heart pounding hard in her chest--where was he?! Shaking her head a bit, she took off again down the hall, this time towards Jo's room. At around that time, she heard the communicator at her waist crackling with static before Jo's voice was projected across it. Chelsea stopped for just a moment, breathless as she took her own communicator, speaking into it quickly.
"M-Miss Beaumont, we're under attack from some...thing...! Some mechanical thing, and just--it had a f-forcefield and it deflected bullets a-and just...Bunny is staying back to hold him back and I don't know what to do...!" At around this time, she continued towards Jo's room, moving at a steady pace, up until she finally reached the door, but simply stood outside it, unsure of what to do, speaking into the communicator again. "He killed a bunch of our men with barely so much as lifting a finger...he sent their own bullets back at them...!"

Ryder jolted awake, feeling dazed and confused--and then, he felt a gun land on his chest. He sat up, picking up the gun, and stumbling off of the bed, brushing some hair out of his face with his free hand.
"Can't we even have just one rest day?" he said under his breath as he worked at waking himself up more. He waited for Jo to contact everyone, and was eager to hear the response, himself. He was cursing himself for leaving his bat behind in his room, though...

Bravery jolted awake as he heard the explosion, nearly rolling right off the bed with Gabriel in his arms.
"Th-The heck was that...?!" he quickly sat up, then climbed up over Gabriel, going to the entrance of the room and opening the door, looking out into the hall. He didn't see anything, but he could hear several communicators around the area going off, and Jo's voice was projecting well around the base. So, she didn't know what was going on either...
He walked back over to Gabriel, shaking him, trying to wake him up.
"Gabriel! Gabriel, wake up!"

Gabriel didn't seem to wake up despite Bravery's rolling nor the loud noises, merely groaning quietly and shifting his arm to cover his eyes. And then Bravery started shaking him and he cursed quietly in complaint as he woke up. "Mother fucking piece of shit- why does my head hurt- I don't-" Trying to shake off Bravery, Gabriel didn't realize how close to the bed he was- and therefore was unable to stop himself when he rolled the way off and down to the floor. "... Bitch." Rubbing his face grumpily as he sat up, he looked around with squinted eyes. "What the hell is going on...?" he asked quickly, looking up towards his blue-haired boyfriend.

David floated in the air, his aura could actually be felt, like a gust of wind hitting you in the face. This man held such power that even as he simply stood there you could feel it. David looked down on Bunny, the sole officer that stood in his way "Oh... and JUST what are you planning on doing to stop me!?" his thoughts entered her head telepathically, the man had no real voice anymore, he had no need for a voice anymore. David rose his hands up, causing all the footmen corpses that had littered the ground to fly up and then shoot out at Bunny "Hahahaha!" he burst out laughing as he shot out her comrades' corpses at her. Another batch of footmen entered the scene, holding knives and bats, only for their weapons to fly out of their hands and turn on them, their own weapons would then stab and bash in their previous users to death before falling helplessly to the ground.

Jo held her communicator, the brief moment she spent waiting for a reply feeling like an eternity.
Finally, Chelsea`s voice responded, washing a wave of relief over her. She listened, feeling her heart beat loudly and echo through her being. A mechanical entity. That relaunched bullets. She could feel herself shudder. "He`s..." She sighed bitterly, "God, what does he want...?"
She felt the situation hit her like a bunch of bricks -- The Inquisitor was attacking their base. By himself. And he managed to take down a sea of footmen without breaking a sweat. She exhaled deeply, trying to calm her ever anxious nerves. An endless pit was developing in her stomach, twisting her insides ruthlessly. Jo picked up her communicator before speaking breathlessly into it, "The Inquisitor is inside Carrion Land -- I repeat, The Inquisitor has infiltrated Carrion Land! All officers are needed on standby with their weapons at ready. We`re taking this son of a bitch down tonight!" She lowered the device, flickering it off before shoving it into her pocket. She looked over her shoulder at Ryder before saying, "You need to try to run to your room and get your bat. I`ll cover you if you want. I just need you at your full potential."

The Boss headed towards the exit of her room, freezing as she saw Chelsea in her doorway. She almost attempted to block the smaller girl`s vision of her sleepy brother standing behind her in her room, but decided against it, figuring it was too late. Damage was done. Besides, they had more important things to deal with at the moment. "Chelsea, I need you to try to weaken his cybernetics while we take him head on, alright? Find someone to personally defend you and we should be fine," She explained briefly, trying her best to make herself seem calm despite feeling crushed by the sudden dire situation.

Bunny straggered to stay up.
"You...better bel-" she watched the footman get up, or were floating up. She saw as they started to shoot at her. She blocked some with her metal arm, but more hit her. She screamed, hitting the ground. After a seconds, she got up again, panting and bleeding. She started to run toward the man and get a good punch in with her metal arm, hoping to inflict some sort of damage.

Kat got dressed and went toward the noise. She couldn't do much, but she COULD get a handle on what was going on. She saw Bunny nearly turning into swiss cheese.
"Bunny? OH GOD BOSS!" she yelled. "HOLD ON BOSS!" she was running toward her but then saw Bunny try and attack. "YOU MORON!" she yelled.

"... Sorry..." Gabriel mumbled, apologizing for his dirty mouth. "Just... my head... and this--" He fell silent as Jo's message reached their ears, his eyes going wide for a moment before he shot to his feet. "You need your gear...!!" he yelped, staring at Bravery. He knew that Bravery would be more use in this battle than him- but that wouldn't stop him from doing his best to protect his friends. "Come on...!!" He hurried yanked on his shoes before glancing around the room, trying to see if he needed anything while he waited for Bravery.

David couldn't help but laugh at his opponents "Such pathetic creatures! I've realized now... I HAVE FINALLY REACHED THE PINNACLE OF HUMAN EVOLUTION! I AM A GOD NOW!" his thoughts echoed through the base haphazardly as if they were from a loud speaker. David looked down on Bunny, the woman went out to attack him, a punch heading straight towards his face. The cyborg merely rose his arm up towards her, and her attack came to a stop "Stop right there ginger... I think its time you realized your place!" he suddenly sent a psychic blast that would shot Bunny into a wall "And just how do you plan to even touch me!? Can you even stand up!? HAHAHA- THIS IS PATHETIC!" he called out to the poor woman.

The sight of Ryder inside of Jo's room barely even registered with Chelsea--nor did it seem to matter to her at the moment. She was downright terrified, not only for her life, but for everyone else's lives, too. She bit her lower lip in anxiety as she listened to Jo's instructions, then nodded. But...who could she find to protect her? And if she sent out a mass message to the base, what if their enemy overheard it from one of the dead soldier's communicators? Still, she turned, heading back towards her room. As she went, though, she could hear the sounds of shouting--Kat. Perfect! Somebody who could guard her while she worked!
Chelsea moved further down the hall, just barely getting into view of the entrance hall where the battle was taking place currently.
"Kat!" Chelsea called out to the woman over the din of the fray. "Can you come help me out here? I need a bodyguard while I work!" She waited for a moment to make sure that the woman heard her, then motioned for her to follow her--before heading off back towards her room. That would at least bring them away from the battle, where it would be safer.

"Right...the bat would be helpful..." Ryder nodded to Jo. He had been about to say something to his sister, but she ran off before he could get a single word out.
He was finally waking up more now. The situation was sinking in. The Inquisitor was there to try to screw them over again--and they weren't going to let him do it this time. Jo had said it best--they were taking that son of a bitch down.
"My room's not too far from here--we can just go there, grab the bat, then head to wherever the sounds of the battle are coming from." Ryder walked out of the room, into the hall, then turned to look at Jo. "...And...be careful, alright?"

"My gear...it's still back in the infirmary! Dammit! We--we can go get it, though! We just need to be fast..." His hands reached around to the back of his head, pulling at the ends of his mask slightly, tightening it over his face for the battle to come. "Are you ready?"

Emilia was resting and then she heard an explosion. "What the fu... Oh God!" Emilia said as she got up and strapped on her armor. She ran, with her lance in hand. Another battle?! Where was Chelsea!? She hoped that she wasn't too late! She spotted Kat and ran right over to her. "Kat! What's happening, Oh my God... MAGENTO!?" Emilia shouted since the man really did look like a super villain from the old comics she read in her spare time. She stepped back and looked to see if she could find Chelsea. "What's the plan here?" she asked Kat, and that's when she heard the voice of Chelsea. "Chelsea! Your alright!" She called as she went over to her. "So I hear that this is the Inquisitor... Does the boss have any plan that you know of?"

"Justice, Peace, and Love must be protected! And I will stop at nothing to protect Law and ORDER! FOR JUSTICE! TO ARMS!"

Bunny screamed as the blast hit her full throttle. She hit the wall, and screamed again. However, she left the same mini EMP Ghoul used at David's feet. Hopefully it was do something. Bunny groaned and opened an eye.
"Burn...in...cyborg...hell." she muttered, unable to move, and unable to feel her right arm. It was in such bad shape, it literally looked like swiss cheese. The woman was bleeding out. "Fuck...I'm...sorry guys...that's...all I could do...need...a bit...of rest." she said, slumping over, out cold.

"BOSS!" she screamed, wanting to help, but Chelsea asked her to be a body guard. The faster they took that thing out the better. "Sure, lead the way. I'll protect you as best I can." she said. She looked at Emilia. "We don't know shit. All I know is that my Boss could be dead cause she bought some time for us to prepare. I don't know what else to do." she looked at Chelsea. "Okay, let's go."

"Emilia! Kat!" Chelsea said in relief as the two women approached her, glad that they had heard her. "I-I'm not sure what the plan is, but I need to hack that guy's systems--and if he figures out that somebody is remotely hacking him, he's not going to be happy--so I need somebody to guard me. If you want, you both can...or you can help out actually holding the guy back...it's up to you two who does what!" She then turned, jogging towards her room. "A-Anyone coming with me, this way!"

Bravery ran with Gabriel out of their room, right out into a sea of footmen who were all running to the scene of the battle. There was shouting everywhere, and the faint sounds of the battle itself could be heard. As they came to the hallway that branched off into the infirmary, Bravery shoved his way through the crowd, pulling Gabriel along with him, until they finally got inside the infirmary. And, just as he'd thought, his 3D Gear and gauntlets were sitting there on a table. He hurriedly went over to it, and began hastily putting the gear on.
"Gabriel? I want you to stay here and guard the infirmary. Okay? Can you do that for me?" He looked at Gabriel, giving him a very serious expression. "I don't want you getting hurt. But just in case...stay here. I'm going into the actual battle."

Jo watched Chelsea run off carefully, as if watching her back to be sure nothing would spring out at her at the last moment. No such thing happened. She was fine. They would all be fine. It was one thing to cause the death of an innocent girl, it was another thing to kidnap her and torture her emotionally, mentally, and physically to leave a permanent scar on her psyche -- but breaking into Carrion Land was a whole other level. She thought this as his voice echoed through her head, her eyebrows arching, her expression masking her fear and replacing it with fury. This was the last time, she was going to have the Inquisitor`s head.
She turned to Ryder as he spoke, trying to make herself appear calm in his presence as well. She nodded to him, following him as he exited her room with her hand ready on her gun`s trigger. She stopped for a moment, trying to offer him a small smile. "... You too." She kept her gun at ready, following her companion to his room to retrieve his weapon.

"We will do whatever it takes... Or at least I will! Led the way!" Emilia said, and hoped that there was a high chance of this working. She wasn't sure what she could do against such a foe, but she will try to slow him down. She had her lance at the ready as she followed the small hacker. For all she knew the Inquisitor already knew of the plan.

"Justice, Peace, and Love must be protected! And I will stop at nothing to protect Law and ORDER! FOR JUSTICE! TO ARMS!"

Ryder gave Jo a nod, then quickly headed off towards his room, moving at a brisk pace. He saw that the door was already open, from when Chelsea had opened it before, and he rushed inside. The specialized bat was leaning up against the wall in the corner, and he made his way over to it, not wasting a moment to put the safety on the revolver Jo had given him, then shove the small firearm into his pants pocket before picking up the bat, checking that it had ammunition. He went to the box at his desk, grabbing a few of his baseball shaped explosives and hooking them onto his belt, before turning back around and heading back to the entrance.
"Alright. Good." he said as he rejoined Jo out in the hallway. "Ass kicking time. Let's do this thing."

Once they reached the infirmary, Gabriel did his best to help Bravery get his gear on, focusing fully on getting him ready to go into battle. He hadn't given thought to what he himself would do, knowing that Bravery would be more important to the battle than he would.
And then Bravery asked him to guard the infirmary.
It was obvious from his expression that he wasn't sure of the idea. Not because he felt he couldn't do it- with all the fighting going on it would be simple enough to keep an enemy out of the room. But he was worried about Bravery; even if he couldn't fight very well himself, he had hoped he'd be able to watch over him as he fought, and maybe give him a little help.
But he knew, really, he would only be in the way. It stung a little, that he'd be unable to do anything to help... and that if he went out there and got in the way, Bravery would only get hurt trying to save him. Clenching his fists a moment, he looked towards the ground and nodded. "I can do that..." Checking over the various straps of the 3D Gear, he made sure everything was in place before he met Bravery's eyes once more. He was very obviously worried for him, but he knew he'd be needed out there.
Before he ushered him away, Gabriel lifted a shaking hand to clutch at the front of his shirt, gripping tightly before he pulled Bravery closer and kissed him hard on the lips. It was only for a second though before he pulled away and let him go, looking him dead in the eyes. "Go. And you better not fucking die on me," he whispered, nodding to the door before he turned around and began searching the room for a good weapon.

Chelsea led the two of them to her bedroom, and she quickly headed inside, flicking the light switch on on her way in, then setting her laptop case down on her desk, hurriedly taking the computer out and opening it. She never turned her laptop off--it was always on sleep mode, just in case of such situations. She unwrapped the charger from where it had been stored in the bag, and then quickly plugged the computer into an outlet before sitting down at the desk and giving the computer a moment to wake up before she began opening program after program--then began typing up a storm on the keyboard as she began to try to get a lock on The Inquisitor's signal.

After Gabriel pulled away, Bravery stared at him in surprise for a moment--then grinned.
"C'mon, Gabriel, don't you know anything? I'm a superhero! And as far as superheroes go, the good guys always win! There's no way I'll die, so don't you worry!" He gave Gabriel a wink and a thumbs up before turning, running out of the infirmary and down the hall, on the path to the battle.

Jo remained patiently outside of Ryder`s room as he quickly ran in and readied himself. She huffed, another attempt at calming her anxious thoughts and nerves. She couldn`t help but smile at him as he approached her again in the hallway, nodding to him. "It`s always ass kicking time," She commented, hurrying down the hallway to the source of the action. As she heard the sound of the Inquisitor`s voice intruding on her own thoughts resonate louder within her, she picked up her speed hurriedly. Jo gritted her teeth, preparing herself for the worst. She mentally recalled her last battle with the cybernetically enhanced Inquisitor, thinking back on any information that could be of use to them at the moment. Her gaze lingered on her tommy gun as she contemplated. "... I don`t think bullets will do us any good. He`s slow as balls, though -- use speed and momentum to your advantage. Last time, I used the orb things on his hands to try to disarm him, and I don`t know if it`ll be different this time, but just attack at the sources, okay?" Jo rambled to Ryder quietly, worry evident in her voice. He should be fine. He almost never used guns. Her, on the other hand? It was rather difficult to flip a cyborg twice your size over your shoulder like any other opponent. She feverishly took her combat knife out of her pocket with her free hand, holding it in the same hand as her firearm to make them both easily accessible and switchable during combat.

Akuryo watched everything around him, David coming in, the army of the inquisitor entering and wrecking the place, his old home being torn down again before him. The entrance explosion sent him away and straight into one of the metal walls, the explosion burned his jacked and back blood packets burned up and melted to his bulletproof vest. The collision to the metal wall, with the explosion making a few jagged edges, he was slashed across his forehead from hitting a slightly jagged edge. He was knocked unconscious for the following attack, but soon woke up a few hours afterwards. His vision was completely bloody, he had a pool of his own blood coming out of his forehead, and soon, he yelled out in pain. His face being covered in his own blood pissed him off as he stood back up, weakly, and with adrenaline pumping through his veins. He looked to see David standing there near the entrance still as he pulled out twin butterfly knives. "I will feast on your blood MASTER!" Akuryo yelled as he attempted to pounce on the psychic man with both the blades, wanting to kill this man before his adrenaline faded.
