Mocha heard a little beeping noise and slowly opened her eyes. This was the first time in a long time she woke up to something like that. The first time in a long time she saw a glimpse of someone right next to her as she recovered. It was usually her that was there when her patients woke up. She didn't say anything as she breathed in and out slowly, and wondered why. Why was she alive here? She was shot... Maybe 10 bullets entered her body? She didn't remember... It just hurt, and... She was angry at Bravery for lying to her... Yes... That was it. She was angry and shooting at Bravery. Her tired eyes looked around as she moved her finger, trying to get some movement out of her body.

"Your all just a bunch of dolls being played with until your creator of the world beyond grows tired of you. You may not know it, but you have lived many lives either before, or were just born. Sure they say you've been around for said X years, but Mocha... Mocha knows the truth. You were just to life only 7 minutes ago so... Happy Birthday."

Elliot looked back at Bravery and Mocha as they were being treated "They'll make it... but they're both in for a rude awakening when they wake up... Despite being so much taller than Ryder, even if he wasn't in a wheelchair, the man looked incredibly scared of him. The man begrudgingly moved out his arm to shake hands with Ryder "H-hey! I'm Henry Ghast, The Family sent me to watch over you all in Vulture Team... I will be reporting everything to them... okay?" he introduced himself to Ryder, acting very odd for a man who seemed to be an enforcer for The Family.

Mocha's reddish brown eyes followed the voice, her vision slightly blurry. "... Elliot?" she asked, she believed that this was actually the first time that they ever spoke. Sure they know each other, but they never exchanged words before. It was... Weird. Mocha began to process what Elliot said to her, She was being treated... Not by her own people, but by Vultures... She worked for Jade, was a Nurse for himm one of the people that Elliot despised... What was wrong with this picture? "... What?" she asked not quite getting it, and tried to sit up, but after not feeling her body respond she stayed where she was. Did they wait to kill her so that when she was awake? No that's not their style. They would have finished her off or left her. So what was the deal here?

"Ryder Mercy," Ryder shook Henry's hand, looking inquisitively at the man's red eyes for a moment before just shrugging off the weirdness. "You seem kinda jumpy. Don't worry--nobody's gonna screw around here or anything. At least...I won't tell them to." He gave a small laugh, glancing back at the crowd of Vultures. "Nice to meet you, anyway. So, how long of a leave of stay do we have here before we have to go?"

Meanwhile, Bravery was on a cot that was next to Mocha's. He was still conscious, yes, but he also still couldn't move. Still, he was slowly getting feeling back into his body--very slowly.

Elliot narrowed his eyes at Mocha as he heard her only words "I said you're being treated in Highend... what do you.. not get...?" Elliot had problems with social interactions, especially people he had never talked to before. So to him all she did was ask about the situation, not getting her confusion. Elliot opened the tent a bit so Mocha could see outside it, to the shining streets of Highend "We want you to stay here... we want Bunny back... you can help us..." he told her.

Henry nodded to Ryder eagerly "I'm sure sir... you... er... are the "Thinker" while Jo is occupied right? I happen to know her, we go way back... if you need any help, I can help, okay?" he seemed to be using the term "thinker" which Elliot used a lot, which seemed to indicate that this man knew at least Elliot and Jo now. He seemed to have a kind smile on his face, but something was just off putting about the man "I heard that Vulture Team... erm... didn't have any leaders... but from what I've heard Jo seemed to handle most of the logistics and control..."

"Huh...I didn't know that you knew Jo," Ryder remarked offhandedly. "And well...I mean, I just joined recently, but it looks like the only people left that can really lead right now are me and...that guy." He pointed discreetly over at Gangsta Pimp. "And yeah, out of the two of us, I'd say that I'm probably the thinker." Ryder couldn't help but feel a bit wary around this man for some reason. The guy was jumpy as hell, and yet Ryder felt like he could feel some weird vibes coming off the guy. "There aren't really any actual leaders...so I guess that we're more like semi-leaders, kinda?"

Jo`s curiousity was drawn to the sound of cheering, and she approached it wearily. Were they already causing trouble for High end? Seriously? To her surprise, she looked up to see Ryder giving a rather effective speech to the masses. They definitely responded positively, as did Jo, as she joined in on the cheering until it died down. With a finally lit cigar hanging from her pale lips, she looked to congratulate the redhead, but as she neared where Vulture Team had set up their camps she instead saw him speaking with Mr. Ghast and... Elliot coming back. Her eyes lit briefly as she laid eyes on the Pyromaniac, until she saw the two Worms he had carried into High End. One was 'The Justice Avenger' or something like that, a blue haired young man who seemed off his rocker in a different way then the rest of them. But it was the other worm that made her question the situation. Mocha, known especially as Jade`s nurse. Her eyes narrowed angrily. At the last battle, Jade had made a heck of an enemy after his encounter with Jo. The fact that his right hand woman was being treated by Vulture`s medics made her blood boil a bit, but a part of her knew Elliot had his reasons. Her hand reached for her cigar, as she briefly removed the cancer stick from it`s position to blow a few ring-shaped puffs of smoke from her lips. She felt a little worse now than she did when she just woke up. Despite feeling cleaner, her head was still a bit hazy and her arm still ached from two different wounds. No doubt from the nicotine she only now put in her system after dealing with slight withdraws for a few days. But, whatever.

Her eyes then found Gangsta Pimp. She wasn`t about to just sit around High end moping, might as well speak with the man. Or something like that. She approached him, holding her cigar to her lips again. "Hey, tell me when Ryder comes back. I gotta apologize for touching his face or whatever. Can I sleep in your car again?" She asked him, completely deadpan and serious. A bit of agitation was present on her composure, but it seemed the nicotine was what was keeping her in check.

After a while, although he still couldn't move the rest of his body, Bravery finally found that he could talk again. His eyes glanced over to Elliot before he spoke.
"E-Elliot, listen...I don't know what Jade is planning to do to Bunny, but if you want to save her, you're going to have to do it soon."
Yes, he knew that Mocha was right there. But honestly, it was already pretty obvious that he was up to something, so hey, it didn't really matter anymore that she could hear.
"She said that she was worried about Jade killing her...and while I wouldn't put that past him, I feel like he'd do even worse...You've really gotta hurry..."

Duda emerged from the clinic looked way better than she had before. She had a change of wardrobe, and was doped up to her eyeballs for the pain. Skipping to where Ivy and Gangsta Pimp were, she had on a wide grin.

"Don't tell anyone, but they gave me like a neck pillow thing, and told me I had to wear it, but I threw it away! "

She giggled as if it were a big deal. She stared at Gansta Pimp for a bit, then her face lit up as if she had remembered something. She took out a destroyed looking daisy from her back pocket.

"I know I said I would get you a bouquet, but times are hard, I'm terribly sorry sir, this was the best I could get! DEAL WITH IT!"

She explained, holding out the daisy for him.

Then Duda came over and offered Gangsta Pimp some flowers "Uh... thank you for the... shitty flowers... girl I barely know!" Pimp replied to Duda as he accepted the flower. Some people in Vulture Team were just weird. Gangsta Pimp looked over to Jo "What do you think about that guy The Family sent to watch us? He says he knows you... so Homewrecker... Gangsta Pimp is curious... how?" he asked, getting very inquisitive.

Neither of them is any better than the others... then again Vulture Team seems to have a lot let conflict and ranting going on then the Family... don't tell them I said that." the man tried to make small talk with Ryder. But then he seemed to act more awkward "Well... perhaps I should go...?" the man asked, and before Ryder could ever answer the man answered himself "Yes I am! Goodbye! I'll be watching!" Henry smiled as he walked away from Ryder.

Jo smiled briefly at the brunette as she skipped to them and offered Gangsta Pimp a daisy. Adorable. She wondered what to do with the time she had now that everyone was recovering. Then a thought occurred. High end probably had a bar. Like, a really nice bar. Not like the crappy one they had at Vulture Team. A shot of scotch would be really nice with her cigar. She was just really happy she got her hands on a working lighter, ok. She looked up at Gangsta Pimp as he addressed her. Her eyebrows raised when he questioned her relation with Henry. "Don`t worry about it." She shrugged him off, taking another drag as she averted her gaze.

As if on cue, Ryder wheeled himself back to them. "Hey guy. You didn`t really miss much. Sorry for touching your face, by the way. How was your chat with Henry?"

Gangsta Pimp thinks its the work of out house guests..." the man spoke to the other two, perhaps he had a point. And then suddenly, EXPLOSION IN THE SKY, and "RRRRRYYYYYYYYDDDDDDEEEEEERRRRR!!!!" echoed throughout the city. Gangsta Pimp didn't seem that phased by the explosion "Gangsta Pimp thinks there's someone at the door..." he spoke rather simply.

"Funny," Ryder said, obviously irritated since he recognized the voice that shouted his name. "I wasn't expecting guests." He sighed, then switched his wheelchair over to a mode that let him move it by joystick, not by moving the wheels. He started rolling off towards the entrance, calling back to his allies,
"I'm probably gonna need some back-up...as much as I'd like to punch this guy's face in solo...so...yeah." And with that, he was off, heading towards the entrance.

Gangsta Pimp seemed to just follow Ryder without being directly spoken to, Ryder saying he needed back up was all he needed "Gangsta Pimp will be back up... Gangsta Pimp served the Emperor of China as a bodyguard for twelve years!" he boasted as he walked off to the entrance with Ryder. Nevermind the usual boasting, he was really the only uninjured officer in Vulture team right now, so he was logically the best choice in the matter, plus he didn't seem crazy about including Jo in another battle just yet.

Jo nodded at Ryder. "Tell me about it..." She said. Her eyes followed in the direction of his to the paramedics patching people up. Ryder`s speech really helped everyone along. She didn`t see much of the riot that was beginning, only heard it from the warehouse. She couldn`t force herself to care if she tried, really. And then boom, explosion.

"Are you fucking serious." Jo cursed, glaring at the gates to High end. Fuck. Were they really starting a commotion this soon? High End would never let Jo back in if she let Conqueror Worm wreck the place. She watched Ryder ride to the gates. No. This wasn`t about to happen. "GO AWAY!" She simply shouted, hoping that would work. It didn`t. Lily came to the area, seemingly looking for Ryder. "Don`t even worry about it, he`s just dealing with a psychopathic nun." She answered her quickly, looking at the gates with a thoughtful expression. "You know what? Fuck this. No." Jo blew a few puffs of smoke from her cigar as she turned away from the gates. "..." After a moment of consideration, she turned back around and headed for them. "I`m so done..."

Mocha's frowned at the man. That wasn't what she meant, but she then remembered what Jade told her about him. Elliot was an idiot, and she had to specific with the man. "That's not what I meant, but you just cleared up the confusion by stating WHY you helped me..." Mocha said her dizziness subsiding for a bit. Though this was news to her... She didn't know that Bunny was captured by Jade since he didn't really tell her that he HAD Bunny. He just said he had something very special in store for her. Also his mind seemed somewhere else and then he locked himself down doing some examinations. She guessed that was with Bunny, since he never involved her in that business. She then heard Bravery and turned her head over to him. What? Was he with THEM now? Why? Didn't he want to get out of here!? Then heard something horrifying along with an explosion. "Kraven..." she said and held her head. HE should be in bed, and she doubt Jade was going to be happy about this. She felt a headache coming on.

Elliot leaned down to Mocha, making eye contact with her "I promise... we wont' hurt you or your masked friend... which is more than I can say... for what your boss... has in store for Bunny..." he told Mocha before shooting a glare at a man in the tent. The medic immediately ran off, but then returned with a plate of food. Elliot handed it to her, it was just some soup, just because Vulture Team was in Highend didn't mean they were allowed some Highend food. After handing over the food, the gas masked man sat down in a chair in the tent "Eat... you've been shot... you probably need energy."

Bravery was quiet for a moment--he could practically feel Mocha's disapproval at his actions, and well--he felt obligated to say something to her.
"Um...Nurse? J-Just so you know...I'm not trying to be a traitor or anything. I mean--I guess that that's kinda...what I'm doing...but..." He sighed, trying to collect his thoughts and figure out what to say. "I'm just...I guess that I'm trying to figure out where I stand in all of this. Because everything just got really confusing all of a sudden, and...and I don't know who the good guys are anymore. So it's hard. So...sorry for lying to you. I just wanted to help Bunny. Because I was thinking--wouldn't I want someone to save me if I was in her position? And I mean, it's a hero's duty to save people, after all...so..."

Mocha stared back at Elliot, wondering why the man was staring at her? Was he looking for a glimpse of the monster that was Jade? Probably since she was one of his nurses. "You won't? You already shot me, what's stopping you from just... Torturing me." Mocha asked as she stared back at Elliot's icy blue eyes with her muddy ruby red ones. She looked down at the plate of food, and when listening to Elliot she laughed a very little laugh. It wasn't to mock but it was to marvel at how the tables had truly been turned for her. She would offer this to her patients. "Oh don't pay attention to me... I just can't believe this... You are honestly giving me food. That never happens in these kinds of situations." Mocha said as she struggled to sit up to eat, but then she thought about something. Was the man going to shove it in her face. "No tricks?" she asked, very used to things like. She then turned to Bravery as he apologized to her for lying. "Oh Bravery... No one knows who's good anymore... Hell does things to you... Making even the greatest man... A monster. But anyway... I wish you didn't turn around! I mean... I was aiming for you butt not your dick."

"Ehehe...yeeeah...I'm kinda glad that I still can't feel anything now because of the sedative, but I don't know if it'll hurt later..." He gave a small anxious laugh, hoping that the damage wouldn't be too great, then paused for a moment. "...I'm going to be in major trouble when we go back, aren't I?"
