This half-retro half-space themed pizza place is owned by an alien-human couple, and is known for its exotic pizza flavors (Martian Caviar is a best-seller). The booths are shaped like rockets and spaceships, while the music is seventies disco music, sometimes remixed by young, hip DJs. While there is controversy about the owners of the Retro Pizza Express, it is still a very successful business.

Tiki entered the restaurant, singing along with the music under her breath. She smiled at the familiar smell of pizza. An immediate sense of familiarity filling her. This was one of the places she'd "waste her time" the most in high school. Not that the owners seemed to mind. That among other things made them particularly awesome.
She sat down in one of the rocket shaped booths, signaling to the familiar waitress that she would be ready to be served soon, Tiki set her guitar case next to her as she began to eye the menu. The seat across from her still empty for when Alex joined her. She was going to figure out what was up with that kid and pizza would definitely help her think. Her smile widned. Her fingers going up and down the menu as she decided what she wanted.
Oh hell yeah. That'll do it.

Alex looked at the sign to this place. He never been here before as it looked a bit sketchy to him. That was casted away however as he soon stepped inside. His eyes went wide and sparkled about the scenery. It was amazing! Who knew that there was a place like this! The smell of pizza caught his nose as he smiled in delight as his stomach growled a bit more. A little eep came out of his mouth as he noticed where Tiki was as he ran over to quickly sit down. The music caught his ears as he hummed a little bit while looking at the menu. Hmmm there was so much to pick from! The confusion of what to get kicked in as he decided to look at Tiki for help. "Ummmm...do you know what's good to get? I-I've never been here before."

Tiki looked up from her menu with a half smirk as Alex finally appeared. His "eep" announcing his arrival before she even had to look up from the bright paper. She looked at him. Her half smile half smirk growing at the sparkling in his eyes. Yup, he was definitely an excitable one. She could definitely appreciate someone acknowledging how sweet a place like this was.
She hummed in time with the boy for a moment. Their voices intermingling for those short moments. Tiki returned her gaze to the menu at Alex's question. She looked back up at a moment, pointing at one selection in particular with a confident smile.
That's alright! You have a shit ton of time to make up for though. This place's menu is huge. Martian Caviar is an awesome place to start.

Alex kept looking around at the new place as his eyes were interested at every part of the restaurant. It seemed to be good in business considering how busy it was. The music was lovely as he couldn't help but hum a few more times as the sound was lovely to his ears. He smiled and waved hi to random people sitting across from them as he then took a look at the menu again and still couldn't decide what to get. The pizza that Tiki mentioned got him a bit confused. "M-Martian Caviar? I-Is that good?" It sounded sketchy to him as a death of fear appeared on his face now.

Tiki raised an amused eyebrow at Alex's quite petrified reaction. She forced herself to not not laugh at the blondes expression. It normally was fun to see people's initial reaction to this place. It was always so different from person to person. Alex's reaction thus far was especially priceless though.

Alex was still scared. What if the pizza would taste bad to him? He didn't want to take that risk! As he stared at Tiki, her look of reassurance was able to put him at ease as he calmed down. "Ok...I'll trust you on that." He then started to pout afterwards though. "But if it tastes bad...I'm not sure if I can forgive you!" He crossed him arms while pouting some more. This was the best serious face he could make as he believed that it would work.

Tiki watched Alex's reaction in near blatant amusement. At this point, looking assuring was starting to become difficult. If she were better at art, she would probably have started drawing the blondes reactions at this point. She smiled at him as he started to finally calm down. Then as he spoke, proceeding to pout, that smile became lopsided for a moment.
She gasped as if the words had stung her, placing her hand over her heart. The over dramatic tone of her voice entirely taking away any seriousness to what she was saying.
I don't think I'd ever be able to forgive myself if that happened. The mere thought!
She held her hand over her heart, looking into the boys eyes mock pleadingly. Honestly trying to stop herself from laughing the whole time.

Alex kept pouting and crossing his arms as he took the bait that Tiki did. A look of confidence rang through him as he smiled. "Mhm! I don't know what would happen if it's bad for me! I might die for all I know! Hopefully it tastes pretty darn good!" He relaxed now as a big smile came on his face as the smell of pizza kept making his stomach growl more and more. Hopefully it wouldn't take too long for their order to be done.

Tiki fought a satisfied smile as Alex seemed to not get what she was doing at all. She was enjoying this ffffaaarr more than she should have been. Tiki kept her hand over her heart for effect as she spoke.
That would be just awful! I haven't heard of anyone dying from the food here, but if that were to happen here. I just wouldn't forgive myself!
She let her hand rest. A smile growing as she still fought back laughter. Tiki looked over to the waitress, signalling to her what they'd be getting. The woman nodded with a familiar smile. She turned back to Alex.
No worries about the food though. It's pretty damn good.

Alex smiled back at Tiki. "I trust you about the food. I never knew a place like this existed. Guess I missed it every time I came around here." He started to look back at all the food that the other patrons were eating as his stomach growled more. Can't think about food. He decided to tune to the music instead as his ears picked up a nice song. He decided to ask Tiki something considering she knows the place well. "What type of music do they play here Tiki?"

A note of the chuckle she'd been holding back escaped her as Alex's stomach rumbled again. She'd thought she was hungry but this kids appetite was already making hers pale by comparison. And this was before their food had even been served. Her smile perked at the blondes question.
They play a lotta seventies disco music. The owners also have a lot of new DJs perform here. It's pretty cool, if that's your style.

Alex looked down and blushed at Tiki's response about the fancy looking places. "M-Maybe..." It was true that he'd only been to the fancy ones as it had been awhile since he's been to one like this. His head and antennas perked up however at the music that was performed here, before giving a sigh and slouching back down onto his chair. "That's too bad. I thought they also played new music or trending ones as well. There was some that I really was hoping to listen to." He sighed again as he made a little displeasure look on his face as he started to trace on the table as well now.

At Alex's response, Tiki raised an eyebrow, not that the boy could see considering he was avoiding looking at her right now.
That was- an interesting response. He didn't look particularly loaded or snobbish, so how exactly how had the kid been affording that? This kid was starting to get shady-ier by the moment. The fact that he didn't want to look at her could either be embarrassment or confirmation he had something to hide. She spoke with a half needling tone,seemingly keeping her words light.
Well, I'm not sure how you manage that, but it must be nice.
She straightened her expression, smiling at his reaction, though still keeping his words in mind. He'd acted similarly in some way back on the bridge, when the topic of other bands performing came up.
The DJs they have perform are pretty new. I mean most of the music is kinda old, but not the live shows. Who'd you want to listen to anyway? or what,I guess?

Alex blushed and looked down in embarrassment after what he said. That was too much of a giveaway if he mentioned fancy places! He yelled at himself internally as his ears picked up the answer. "So all their live shows are DJ's and nothing else?" He tried to think as it made sense to him. Maybe people would enjoy the music and then hope to see these artist's somewhere else. They had to start somehow. When asked who he wanted to listen to, his eyes started to shine. "Have you ever heard of the idol named Alexis Wrey! She's like super popular and awesome at the moment! Ilovelisteningtohermusiceverydayashervoiceissopretty! I mean she looks beautiful at the same time and she always has a new dress in her performances!" Alex couldn't help himself now as he kept on saying how much of Alexis he liked.

Tiki watched Alex's reaction from the corner of her eye. Yyyeeaahh, he was definitely holding back something. She hadn't exactly told the kid her life story, and for good reason, but all things considered she wasn't actively withholding anything. That didn't seem to be the case here....

Yup. That's all I've ever seen here. Though the owners are pretty cool. They might let another kind of artist play if they liked them enough. The shows are usually pretty sweet though.
As Alex's eyes began to shine, Tiki smirked, listening to him ramble and half stopping herself from tapping her finger on the menu at the name. Her memory of musicians was pretty spot on. Though it was usually better in some genres over others. The genre Alexis Wrey fell into was one she didn't listen to that often, but she had seen videos of the girl performing and she was definitely cute. Tiki could appreciate that. She nodded, resting her hand under her chin.
I've heard of her. She's definitely popular. I'll agree with you on her voice. It's nice. Her music's a little too cutesy for my taste, but she's definitely easy on the eyes, if you get what I mean.
Tiki's tone definitely wasn't as excited as Alex's, though as she commented on the idols looks the flirtatious tone was decidedly apparent.

Alex stopped his fangasming for the moment as he asked Tiki, "Have you performed here before with your band?" He got curious now as he wondered where this person has performed and how her band has done. He didn't know anything about her or her band so his curiosity was starting to get the better of him. That was until what he heard Tiki's response about Alexis. He stood up and pouted, not noticing the flirtatious sound she was making. "Cutesy!? Cutesy!? Alexis's songs are more than that!" He then grasped his hands and looked up at the ceiling, as his eyes started to shine while a blush started to appear on his face. "Her songs give meaning to people! They make them energetic and give them the will to go on with life! I agree that her dresses are amazing to look at but her music to me is more than cutesy!" His face started to turn more red as he looked down and started to fidget a little. "S-She's like a-a goddess to me..."

Yeah, we performed here before. I put on a solo performance here before my band was formed too, a few years back.
Tiki leaned back as she thought she noticed something. Though her thoughts about this were pushed on the back burner as Alex was suddenly pouting. She raised an eyebrow, half amused, half confused at the boys reaction. The fuck had this come from? She held up her hands, semi lazily attempting to placate the boy.
Dude, calm down. I'm not dissing her music. I see why people like her. That feel-good vibe gets people going. Her music's just not one of my favorites, but not everyone likes everything, you know?-I also wasn't talking about her dress, drăguţă, not entirely.
Tiki smiled at the blonde, half in an attempt to calm him, half watching to see if the boy actually understood what she was saying this time.

Alex made a mental note to himself, that Tiki used to perform here. Now it all made sense why she knows this place well. A small smile formed on his lips as he fully trusted that the food will definitely not kill him. He then stood there, frozen after her explanation of what she meant about Alexis's music. "Oh..." He immediately sat back down and looked at the ground. His face flushed more red now after the embarrassing stint he just pulled. "I-I'm sorry..." Alex started to fidget more now. "It's just whenever I talk to people about how I like her music, people always say that she has no talent or that she's a hax or that she's lip syncing." He started to grip a little bit on his sweater as he did his best to hold back the tears from coming out. "T-They even called her name's like a slut or a whore and other stuff. I-I mean, who does that! What did she do to people to deserve that name calling!?"

Tiki took in Alex, painting an image in her mind as Alex stood there frozen. Though she wasn't sure if in her picture the boy looked more feminine or less. At least he'd calmed down. This was one place she didn't want to have a bad rep with. She nodded, still leaning back as the boy sat down, now definitely embarrassed.

Tiki's smile widened for a moment as she took in the blondes fidget. His reactions really were so physical. It was adorable.
People are going to find anything to complain about. The more well known you are the worse it tends to get. Honestly it's not worth jack shit and most people with a brain can tell when someone is actually lip synching. People will be bitches because they want to be bitches. Half of the people calling her a whore are probably jealous anyway. You can trust me on that.

A fiery determination was in his eyes as his head was rubbed as he looked at Tiki with a smile as he wiped away the tears. "Thank you for that! Oh I know how I can say thanks!" With that, he took out a photo from his pocket and gave it to her.

Tiki tousled the boys hair, smiling more gently at him as his tears continued to fall. She withdrew her hand, straightening his hair out as his mood seemed to shift into something resembling resolve. Her smile became wider as Tiki seemed steady enough to look at her. At the blondes words, Tiki eyed the photo curiously. She had always liked presents. As she took in the image, her smile took on a tone of flirtation. She could appreciate a picture of a girl in a bikini.

Tiki looked down at the image before pocketing it. Aside from it being not at all unpleasant to look at, if there really were only 100 of these made, this could be worth money later on. Tiki never liked giving away gifts, but it was a good insurance plan.

His face went into a shock as a little bit of sweat dropped down. He didn't know what the feeling was, but he was scared. He might die right now! That would be awkward! He got ready to say his goodbye's until the moment happened. His stomach made a loud growl as everyone stopped doing their activity to stare. Alex looked down, embarrassed as he wanted to die right now.

Tiki smirked as Alex basically confirmed what she'd said. Either way, it was clear this kid was being honest when he said he was into Alexis's music. True fans were awesome. The faithful fans they'd managed to build had been undeniably awesome too.
It's cool she inspired you like that. I get it, dude. Like what kind of stuff have you got?
Tiki cocked an eyebrow as Alex's expression changed yet again. She leaned forward, seeing the sweat start to drop down the boys forehead. She was seriously starting to wonder what was wrong with the kid until his stomach let loose a growl loud enough people were staring at them. Tiki physically bite back laughter. Her sharp canines visible as they dug into her bottom lip. Her body convulsed with the laughter she was forcibly holding back. Luckily for the blonde, their food arrived a moment later. The waitress gave Tiki a familiar wink and was luckily nice enough to smile at Alex as if she hadn't heard his stomach. As soon as the woman walked away, Tiki extracted two slices from the pizza before pointing down at the rest of the pizza.
You first. I already know what it tastes like.

Alex looked down even more when he heard Tiki laughing. Crap! He so wanted to die right now! The smell of cheese caught his attention as he looked up at the waitress who didn't seem to notice his growling. His face went red as he said a small thank you as he stared at it. It did look good, but was it really good? He nodded to what Tiki said as he got a slice on his plate as he crouched down to look at it. This truly was weird to him. He never did try pizza before as the greasiness always scared him.
He kept making faces as he poked at it again and again. Well it seemed safe to eat. Seeing that there was no utensils, he looked at his hands before grabbing the slice up to him as he took a small bite. His eyes went wide. "This is...this is...THIS IS!" Before he said any more, Alex already devoured the slice as he quickly went on to eat another one, his face in total bliss. Who knew melted cheese tasted this good!
