While 5th avenue was destroyed, the 1%'s excessive need for material goods was not, so the shopping street was one of the first places to be rebuilt. All the high-end shops are here, always packed with the latest fashion collections and whatever gadgets are trendy at the moment. Many luxury apartments are also on Avenue 5.1 or on the surrounding blocks, and public transportation has been banned in this part of the city, so that only expensive cars and carriages (luxury taxis) can be seen roaming around here (normally filled with shopping bags of rich people).
