As Inna was laid in her bed at the medical bay, a somber silence had ruled The Walls. Since Charles had left, everyone had seemed to grow somewhat more subdued too. Even the Medbay, once the model of efficiency, was now understaffed, vacant of any personal but the injured. As Inna slept, a hand gently caressed her face, over the last few weeks Inna had made leaps and bounds in her recovery. The hand continued to caress Inna, the mysterious individual wore a hoodie, and spoke in a feminine voice "Soon sister... soon... you will understand why you were born on this earth... you will meet... your true father..." she whispered, gently petting Inna before turning her back on the scene "Now... time to find our other sister...~" the figure walked out, the corpse of a Paladin guard falling out into the halls as she left.

Inna had spent her recovering weeks in and out of consciousness. The first few weeks had been especially bad, never being sure whether she was fully awake, seeing strange things through the foggy veil of the anesthetics, but lately the fog had started to clear, and her periods of awareness were longer, though all of her attempts to get up knocked her right back into the sticky-warm darkness of unconsciousness. The hand that caressed her face, she was pretty sure, must have been part of a dream, and she stirred in her sleep restlessly, her eyes finally flitting open to see nothing but the understaffed Medbay. Another strange dream.
Looking around her, Inna furrowed her brow as she registered the alarming quiet of the infirmary. Something wasn't right here. The Russian took a deep breath and carefully lifted her sheets, scowling at the bandages that covered her scarred limbs, then sat up and swung her legs out of the bed, grimacing as she waited for the pain to come. Amazingly, it didn't. She had healed way more than she had thought. This was good...now she needed to find out what was going on. Inna got up carefully, steadying herself with the furniture around her first, then finally managing to balance on her own, though the evident weakness of her legs from spending such a long time vegetating made another scowl bloom on her face before she threw her coat- which was oh-so-conveniently left next to her bed -on along with her hat and walked out of the Medbay as quickly as she could...which wasn't very quick. It was actually very wobbly and slow, and the blonde could be heard muttering

"Глупые травмы чертовски с моим всем ..."

*exit*
