He seemed to return to his usual loud, dramatic demeanor, as well--as if his speech just a moment ago had been a single moment of near-lucidity among his sea of madness. "And--oh. Yes, that works for me! I don't really know how I'm going to get back into the bed, though..." He couldn't exactly just flop on the bed, since the bed was taller than the wheelchair.

"Hm..." Matthias narrowed his eyes as he glanced between Justus and the bed, trying to figure out how to get him over to the thing. It wouldn't be easy... Sighing a bit, he looked over Justus. He wasn't sure if he could lift him... or at least, unsure if he could lift him in a way that wouldn't be painful. He could try though... "Try lifting your legs to the bed, alright?" he instructed before he moved closer and slowly began to try and lift him up, with an arm behind his back and one under his knees. It was the least painful of his ideas, honestly- but it'd probably still hurt.

Jade was silent when the woman spoke to him, and his eyes scanned her up and down. "Well... That is interesting... I will look forward with your... Helping. The Devil Arcana is pleased! Along with your choice of clothing. Yes, we will have you, now... I will speak with you a little later to talk about specifics. Right now I must speak with... Death." Jade said a little awkwardly, but with enough gusto to make people think that he was into it. He then scurried away with Kraven. "What?" he asked when Kraven began to tell his back story to Jade, and took off his nun garb. He was a soldier, and now EVERYTHING MADE SENSE! THE GUNS! THE BLOOD SHED! He looked very nice in uniform... Like Jade. Jade listened with open ears and at times his eye twitched when he mentioned that his men even raped children and that he strangled a baby. 'And he wonders why I didn't show him Dorthy sooner.' Jade thought since he could imagine Kraven killing Dorthy for shit's and giggles. His tale... Jade would admit made him sick to his stomach, but he knows that there were worse things. Then Kraven told him about the vision he saw and Jade stiffened. He knew that he was going to die, and the whole reason for joining was because of said reason. Now Jade considers himself lucky and... Unlucky... "I know..." Jade said as he looked out into his town. He knew that he was going to die and not see the end of his dream. It was the sad truth, but he didn't want to admit it. "Soon eh? Well... Isn't that wonderful." Jade said as he crossed his arms. "I understand why, and I have no doubt that under you she will excel in defending herself... But Kraven... Can she do it? My dream is so big... Can a little girl be enough to make it survive? And will she want to after she learns what I did in order to get this far?" Jade asked as he looked back at the form of Dorthy and then caught the wounds on her arms. "What happened to her?" he asked since he saw the blood and flowers. He didn't notice since he was in a zone before.

Kraven looked at Jade with watchful eyes as the doctor asked if Dorthy was capable "I'll be honest with you... this dream might take many generations to fulfill to its end, that doesn't mean its not worth it. Dorthy is the key to the future you seek being achieved... not you or I, or Jo, or anyone else with power today. Dorthy has the power to begin this world's future... you've already passed down your genes and beliefs onto the world, I'm afraid you must understand that you've completed your part of your own plan... Jade, I will protect Dorthy, I will train her to become a great fighter. I will do my best to teach her whatever she has left to learn, but I will not be her last teacher either." he explained to Jade as they walked, only to stop as Jade asked about Dorthy's marks. Kraven lowered his head for a moment, before looking back up to Jade, smiling "She wanted to make flower crowns... tried to go into the plant shop, not a big problems, she only has a few marks on her." she'd go through so much more pain in the future, forget about her fate, but her training alone would be much more brutal, this was nothing, Kraven thought to himself.

Jade was silent for a bit before responding, "What? Flower crowns?" he said when Kraven mentioned the plant shop. "Don't tell me... You destroyed all of the plants and didn't see the sign I had put up in order to subdue the plants... Hold on..." Jade said and there was actually a big sign on the door of what to do when the plants went out of control, and punched Kraven in the shoulder for putting his daughter in such a place. While he was upset that Kraven just put his daughter through man eating plants she seemed okay. He sighed when he thought about Dorthy becoming a killer under Kraven. "Alright Kraven... I'll let you teach Dorthy... Just keep Catherine close by as well, and don't let her go out into really sunny weather that much... Very sensitive skin. I swear Kraven if she doesn't have the right kind of sun protection she will look like a freshly boiled lobster, and have sun stroke. The only reason I am having her out now is because it's very cloudy." Jade said as he pointed upwards to the sky.

It was a long, hard process--but eventually, Justus was finally back up in the bed. He laid back into the bed, sighing in relief and relaxing.
"Nicely done, Maroon Emblem! Now, I must rest and recover my strength...and once I have recovered, we might start your initiation as one of the legendary heroes of the flame! Ah, it will be wonderful! I simply can't wait!"

Kraven sorta just grinned when Jade seemed to freak out a bit over Dorthy and the plants "Hey! Well... She really wanted that flower crown made! I punched most of the stupid plants in the face! Bwahahaha! Oh by the way you may need to buy more plants..." The nun man explained to the doctor. Then as Jade explained Dorthy's skin condition Kraven just zoned out then blurred out "yeah! Yeah! Dorthy won't turn into a lobster! Don't worry!" To Jade "Besides, Cathy can take care of the girl in those matters... I'm a soldier, Jade." Kraven was just about to walk off before he stopped himself "Jade... The training needs to begin immediately... It's time for you and Mocha to say bye." Kraven was planning on leaving Conqueror Town. There would be no war, no distractions, just a future to work towards.

Jade then paled when he heard that Kraven was taking her now. He looked back at Dorthy, and then back at Kraven. "Can't she stay for a little..." He began to say until he realized that it wouldn't be possible. He sighed and went over to Dorthy. "Dad look! I made a crown!" Dorthy said as she gave the rose crown to her father. "That's nice..." he said and gulped when Dorthy put the crown on Catherine's head. "How are your hands?

"Okay I guess..." Dorthy said when she looked at her hands, and Jade covered hers with his. "Dorthy... There's something important that I have to tell you..." Jade said as he began to led Dorthy away from Catherine and the rest.

"Okay?"

"Your gonna be with Kraven and Catherine for a bit..."

"Why? You said that you always wanted me with you and Mocha."

"I... I know... But things are changing around here and... Kraven wants to teach you how to protect yourself even more then... I could."

"B... But... You can train me here... Can't you?"

"It's going to get dangerous around here very soon... If your with Kraven then you'll be protected... And you'll learn from him..." Jade said as he made it to the infirmary where Mocha was. She had just gotten up, and seemed to be out of her shock now. "Jade? Dorthy? What's going on?" Mocha asked and Jade told Mocha to come over. Mocha came without a second thought, Dorthy looked very sad, and Jade was holding onto her hand tightly. "What's going on?" Mocha asked when they were in privacy. "Kraven is going to be training and protecting Dorthy from now on..."

"What? No... No you can't do that. Kraven is insane! He'll put her danger!"

"He's proven many times that he could handle it. And Catherine will be there-"

"Oh Catherine! Yeah! Catherine's a good choice!" Mocha said and Dorthy looked back and forth at the adults while tears were walling up. Mocha was so angry at her dad. "Mocha know your place..." Jade said, keeping a strong face, and Mocha stayed silent. "So what... Is this... Good-bye?" Mocha asked and Jade looked down as he sat at his desk. Mocha looked down at Dorthy, and the little girl looked up at Mocha. "Mocha?" she asked her voice cracking as Mocha placed a hand on the little girl's head. "It's... Gonna be okay... I mean... You'll work hard... And... We'll visit you! And... Please... Don't forget all the good things in the world..." Mocha said and Dorthy hugged Mocha. "Mocha... Where is Joel? I... I want to say Goodbye to him..." Dorthy said and Mocha and Jade froze. "Dorthy... Joel is..."

"Joel... Passed on..." Jade finished for Mocha and Dorthy looked at him in confusion, and fear. "What?" she asked in a very quiet voice. "I'm sorry little lamb... But he's gone..." Jade said as he picked up Dorthy who was in complete shock with tears running down her face. "No... No he's not! I saw him! He was fine! I took a nap and he was fine!" Dorthy yelled, losing composure and kicking against Jade before falling to the ground. This was too much. She was leaving her father and Mocha, and now... Joel was... Gone... Dorthy got Jade good before running out of the room, looking around for Joel. "Joel! Joel!? Joel!" Dorthy looked around while Mocha went after her. "Dorthy!" she yelled while Dorthy cried in agony in denial at the loss of her friend. Jade stayed where he was though and placed his hands in his face, taking deep breaths.

Catherine had zoned out MAJORLY. She was day-dreaming about killing stuff with Kraven, then snapped back to reality as she heard Dorthy's cries.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!"

She cried, running after Dorthy and attempting to scoop her up into her arms. She had no idea what was going on, but if Dorthy was this bad, she couldn't stand by and let the girl cry herself to death.

Dorthy screamed before she was caught in the arms of Catherine. She beat against Catherine before growing tired and burying her face into Catherine's chest, her cries being muffled in there. Her tears soaked into Catherine's blouse, and her words weren't clear. Something about doal is fed? What's a doal? Mocha came out, holding her chest, "Oh Catherine... She found out... About Joel..." Mocha said as she came over, Dorthy's force made Catherine sit on the ground, making Mocha kneel. Dorthy cried out some more and held onto Catherine tightly. "Dorthy?"

"MmAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Aaaaaaaaahhhh... Uaaaaaaaaah..." Dorthy responded to Mocha, and went to kick her away. Mocha blocked the awkward kick. "Dorthy... Don't kick me... Tell us what's wrong..."

"IdunwannaJoeldead...It's all his fault..."

"All whose fault Dorthy?"

"Joel!"

"Oh... I see... I see..." Mocha said and rubbed Dorthy's back.

"Whydhehavetogo?"

"What?"

"Why did he have to go!" Dorthy repeated her voice becoming clearer.

"Oh Dorthy... Listen to me... Can I come close?"

"Yep..." Dorthy said and Mocha came close so that Dorthy was inbetween the only two mother's she had ever known. "It's sad when someone goes right? Especially when they're close?"

"Yeah... It feels bad..."

"I know... I feel it too... I feel it right here..." Mocha said as she touched over to where her heart is, and Dorthy followed and touched her own. "I want you to know this... It is no one's fault of what happened... This is... Part of life... It hurts, but you know what? We have to grow strong from it... Because if we start kicking and screaming nothing will change." Mocha said and Dorthy sniffed. "What am I going to do? I miss Joel... Will I ever see him again?" Dorthy asked as she wiped away her tears.

"You'll always miss Joel... I'll... Miss Joel... We will all miss him, but you gotta remember to keep those memories alive... Of all the times he brought you cookies and played... Of the skills he taught you... And in that way... You'll never be apart from him."

"... My tummy hurts..." Dorthy hiccuped and Mocha did a little laugh along with Dorthy. "Want to come with me?"

"No..."

"... You want to stay in Catherine's arms?"

"Yes..." Dorthy said, Catherine did not need to say anything, just to stroke her hair, and lull Dorthy in to calmness. Mocha got up helping Catherine up as well. "Catherine... Dorthy is coming with you and Kraven because the S word is about to go down here... You remember the check up you do with Dorthy?" Mocha asked as Dorthy was in a relaxed state. She was still sad, but much better now.

"Your all just a bunch of dolls being played with until your creator of the world beyond grows tired of you. You may not know it, but you have lived many lives either before, or were just born. Sure they say you've been around for said X years, but Mocha... Mocha knows the truth. You were just to life only 7 minutes ago so... Happy Birthday."

Kraven watched a scene play out between Dorthy, Mocha, and Catherine with a look of boredom. The death of Chef didn't bother Kraven one bit, why would it matter much to a man that goes by 'Father Death'? Kraven looked to Jade, still rather serious about the situation, he was making it very clear that he wasn't a parent, he was at most a teacher "I'm sure you're scared of her, you know how I am Jade. I'm a ruthless man, you know that in the end I'll do anything to achieve my goals. But I can promise you this: she won't become you or me." he told the man as he a saw Mocha say something to Catherine "You'll be proud of her..." he spoke to the man, but he knew that by the time Dorthy's training was finished, Conqueror Worm and Vulture Team wouldn't even exist anymore.

Catherine let Mocha talk to Dorthy, she seemed to be doing a good job of calming the girl down. The pink nurse just stroked Dorthy's cheek, pet her hair as the other nurse spoke. As she got up with Mocha's help, she listened to Mocha's words and nodded

"Don't worry, Mocha, I'll take good care of her. Father Death may seem ruthless, but he can help Dorthy, I'm sure of it...I'll make sure she doesn't get killed."

She said, sounding quite sure of herself, also very protective of the little girl she held in her arms. She kissed Dorthy's forehead and smiled back at Mocha.

"We'll be just fine."

She confirmed to both Mocha and Dorthy., then looked at Kraven and Jade.

"I think we're about ready to go here."

Jade said, and his eyes said it all to her. Dorthy closed her eyes and leaned into her father's touch. "It's time to go..."

"Good-bye..." Dorthy said as she waved good-bye to Jade and Mocha, and just Conquer Worm itself.

"Your all just a bunch of dolls being played with until your creator of the world beyond grows tired of you. You may not know it, but you have lived many lives either before, or were just born. Kraven shrugged at Jade "I suppose you're still the type to be proud of your daughter..." unlike Jade, Kraven would never be proud of a son or daughter unless the accomplished something he couldn't. When everyone seemed ready to leave, and by everyone Kraven though Catherine, Dorthy, and himself, he went to his nun garb. He put his armory and garb back on over his uniform, then looked to the other two. Kraven would play the badguy if he had to, after all, he was the badguy and he knew it "Come on... we're going. Don't look back Dorthy..." he told the girl as he walked to leave Conqueror Town.

But the pink nurse.had given all.the support she could, basically just saying "we'll be fine" and stroking Dorthy's head, cause fuck productivity. She frowned as Kraven told Dorthy to look back, that was.a bit.harsh.. But she shrugged it off.

"Bye.."

She then left with Kraven and Dorthy.

Jason went to the infirmary room to check up on Justus to see how he was doing. He found Justus and Matthias there asleep. "They sure are peaceful when asleep." Jason place the flowers that he got from Figaro on a vase, setting it between the two. Jason then went back outside to Jade, seeing Kraven, Dorothy, and Catherine leave. "So what do you want to do now boss?"

"By the way Spanner... When I come back I want to know what you found..." Jade said moving onto the next best thing. The Death of the Inquisitor is that one thing. He went to the streets. "Mocha with me." Jade said while Mocha looked at Jade weakly before following after him, wondering what was going to happen.

Jade came back with Mocha and the young lady went off to go and change into her best dress that she had not worn yet in a while. While Jade went into his room to get changed as well. He got changed in his more darker outfit, looking like a count of sorts. Should this be the thing he wears for this event. It was certainly dapper enough.

Meanwhile Mocha was getting ready, and came down in a flash. She saw the Voodoo Lady and decided to see how this woman was, and if they should trust her not. Jade didn't have the time to talk to her, so she might as well. "Hello there!" Mocha called with her dress and all. "I'm Doctor Latte... But you can Mocha. So who are you?"
