Ivy was shaking as Ryder came to hug her. She kept nodding, trying to convince herself that Bunny really was going to be okay, but Elliot's screams confirmed what she had feared: Vulture Team had just lost Bunny.

"W-w-why did you lie to me, Ry-Ry? S-she's gone...they're ALL GONE!"

She rocked back and forth some more, then felt bad for overreacting for one second...What would Jo think? But this fleeting moment soon passed and she was back to muttering things.

"They're all leaving..."

She reached into her pocket and started ripping a leaf into tiny pieces, then ripping the tiny pieces into tinier pieces, all this with the limited space provided by her own position as well as Ryder's comforting hug. She heard Bravery's voice but it only seemed to make her rip up the leaf faster.

Ryder was at a loss for words--but he wasn't letting Ivy go. He kept holding her in the hug, trying to zone out everything else that was happening in the chaos of the encampment at the moment. He just focused on Ivy, still hugging her.

It seemed like all was lost...but...a miracle happened.
As Elliot started punching her chest over and over, Bunny's arm reactively grabbed his wrist to get him to stop, breathing in a large amount of air. She started struggling, panting, no gasping for breath, as if air wasn't readily there. She started to have even a mini seizure as her body was manually restarting the body. It was...scary...to say the least, but as people held her down, Bunny's body started to calm itself, and soon, she was breathing normally. She was alive...somehow...in that explosion she survived. She continued to gasp for air, her chest moving fast with it. She may have been alive and conscious for now, but she was still hurt.
"BRAVERY! EMILIA! I'LL KILL HIM! I'M GOING TO KILL THAT BASTARD! I'LL HELP ELLIOT AND JO AND THE OTHERS! I'LL ESCAPE WITH ALL OF THEM! ALL OF THEM!" she yelled at the top of her lungs, panting in between the words. "I...I...I'm going...I need to help...I.....I..." she was about to fall asleep again, but willed herself to stay conscious, afraid that if she closed her eyes, she would die again. "E...Elliot?" she asked, soon regaining her senses. "Bravery...is he okay?" she asked, weakly. She tried moving her other leg and other arm...no use. She looked at herself. "...Fuck...this is weird..." she thought to herself.

Bunny's violent shouting sounded like an angelic chorus to Bravery in that moment. He looked up slowly, wiping tears and snot off his face from crying, using his sleeve, then stood up shakily, going over to Bunny, and then couldn't help but give her a big smile as more tears dripped down his face.
"I-I'm fine...I was more worried about you..."

Elliot smiled at Bunny as she awoke, yeah, she was okay now "Heh..." the man smiled at her "Yeah... Bravery is fine..." Elliot told her as he let out a sigh of relief. The doctors immediately started crowding around Bunny, nearly separating Elliot from her as quickly as he did from them "I'll check on your later... we all thought you were dead! I need to tell everyone!" the man yelled as he ran outside his tent "BUNNY LIVES!!!" he yelled as loud as he possibly could.

Emilia watched this scene unravel before her and held her head down. So it was her time to pass... "Bunny is... Hannibal happened..." Emilia explained to Jo. She looked over at Jo and shook her head, "Stop lying. I hate lying... Just let it out..." Emilia said as she took Jo in for a hug. Funny how the enemy of Paladin, the one woman who went to take them on multiple times was comforting her now. The woman who claimed them all failures, was giving her a hug. It felt so human, she patted Jo on the back, her eyes staring at the ground. "Let it all out... I know..." Emilia said as she pretty much figured it out. Feather Hound was dead... She could tell from the words of Elliot that he didn't want to lose anyone else today, and how close Jo was to Jack. Though he was a man, he was one of the few good ones that she saw. She wondered if it was his vengence that drove him to his doom, but didn't say anything more. "Talk to me... I know we hardly know each other, but I am always lending an ear..." Emilia said to Jo as she rubbed her back and went to walk to the infirmary, until she heard the shouting. "Mercy on all Heavens... Can it be?" Emilia asked as she ran to the doors, busting them open. "BUNNY!?" she called as she saw the shouting form of Bunny, and she dashed over to the woman's side, across from Bravery. "It's alright dear... We're going to fix you up..." Emilia said as she put a hand on Bunny's head to help her see into her face some more. She looked over at Elliot. So this was the burning menace... She said nothing as she continued to look at Bunny closely. "Do you need water? Anything at all that I can give you?" Emilia asked, wanting to help Bunny as much as she could.

"Justice, Peace, and Love must be protected! And I will stop at nothing to protect Law and ORDER! FOR JUSTICE! TO ARMS!"

No tears came, but Ivy was at a point waaaay beyond crying. She was absolutely hopeless. She was biting at her lower lip, even drawing blood, but suddenly...Elliot's cry came. Bunny was...alive?

"Ry-Ry...? I think...I'm asleep...or insane..."

She whispered, not believing what she heard...Obviously she didn't consider herself insane, but hearing that Bunny was alive actually go ther thinking that the grief had made her go crazy. But right now she didn't care if she was crazy of not, she tried to throw the leaf bits into the air, like confetti, but she was too squashed to do it, so it ended up all dropping to the ground with no epicosity, but it would do. She somehow maneuvered her body into a position that she could actually hug Ryder back instead of just sitting there, and did so, hugging her friend very tightly.

"She's...she's alive!"

She whispered once more, incredulously, figuring this might be a dream, but she wanted to enjoy it while it lasted.

"She's...alive..." Ryder whispered, pausing for a moment as Ivy hugged him...as the biggest smile spread across his face. "She's alive! She's alive!" He even managed to get a laugh in, as in his hug, he picked Ivy up and spun her around a few times, just like he used to do with his little sister back home. "I told you she'd be okay!" He grinned at Ivy as he finally set her down. "We didn't have to lose her...Bunny's okay..." He gave a relieved sigh as he finally let Ivy go. He noticed that Ivy looked pretty tired--and no wonder--she had been through a long day. So, after all of the initial happiness was over, Ivy went to one of the tents, going to sleep. Ryder, on the other hand, walked into the tent that Bunny was in, grinning at her from the middle of the group that had gone to see her. "You really pulled through for us here! Oh, man, I was worried there for a bit! You gave me a scare!"

Bunny coughed, looking at her friends...her comrades. It felt good. They were there for her. They wanted her to live...they wanted her back. Bravery...Emilia...Elliot...Jo...all of them. They meant so much to her. She meant it...one day, she would leave with them...and they would all start over...together...
That thought alone made Bunny cry. Soon, tears welled in her eyes, and she let them out. She started to cry, but she was smiling. She was alive...holy shit she was alive...somehow...she made it...how it happened...was because of her friends...
Bunny looked at Bravery and Emilia, smiling and crying.
"I...I'll...I'll be okay...not the...first time." she said, taking her human hand and petting Bravery. "You...did...g-great...I'm...proud...of you..." she managed to get out before taking the time to just...breathe. She looked at Emilia as well. "T...thank you...for your help...you...really helped us..." she said. "Water...would be great...." she said, and then looked straight up. "I'm...real tired...but...I...I don't...wanna go..." she paused to breathe. "IS...everyone else...alright...? Did...did we win?" she asked, not even really sure what happened. Course she didn't remember, she was dead for heaven's sake. As Ryder walked in, she chuckled. "You...look...like a dork...in that...uniform...white...suits you..." she managed to get out, but then started to laugh...a genuine laugh too. It was...pleasant to say the least. "Sorry...I worried y-y'all...couldn't...really...help it..." she said. She started to pant more, breathing was getting harder. "Ah...shit...I'm...pretty banged up...h-huh?" she looked at the others. "I'm...out of commission...for a while...but damn it...I..." she nearly fell asleep again, but out of fear of death, she forced her eyes open, but stopped talking.

Jo continuously tried to wipe the tears from her eyes as she spoke to Emilia, trying to keep her head up like she told Jack to do just the other day. But as Emilia told her to stop lying, she decided she didn`t need to force herself to seem strong in front of this woman. It was okay. "S-Sorry..." Jo mummered to her, blinking a few tears away as she was pulled into a hug. She felt like she was with family; like she was a child, crying and behind held by her mother. It felt weirdly right; considering this woman was a known enemy of Paladin, the organization that Jo pledged her life too. She`d personally seen this woman attack her friends and officers, and here she was, comforting her. Albeit a bit awkward at first, Jo hugged Emilia back, resting her head on the woman`s shoulder as she wept softly. She saw Elliot exit the infirmary, ecstatically screaming that Bunny was okay. She smiled faintly at his enthusiasm, walking beside Emilia to the infirmary. She didn`t really know how to explain what happened. She watched her best friend get a hole punched through him today, and he died in her arms with his blood and guts staining the floor under them. What could she say? Her outfit was still covered in his crimson mist, though it had darkened now and no longer fresh.

As they entered the infirmary, Jo watched Emilia immediately dash to Bunny`s side. She was surprisingly very kind; not the monster she made up in her subconscious. Though, that sentence could be applied to anyone on Vulture Team. She`d prepared herself psychologically so much for this mission. Her mind was a fortress; she didn`t want anything to break it. But, that wasn`t really necessary. When it came down to it, they were all human. The scene of them all gather around Bunny reminded her of that. Tears continuously poured down Jo`s face, though she stilled smiled, genuinely this time, as she listened to Bunny. "We won, Bunny. Don`t worry about it. They all ran away." She assured the redhead as she watched her tired expression. She needed to rest. They all did, really. "You should probably sleep..." She tried to reason, understanding that after being dead for a short period of time you may not want to close your eyes for even a second.

Emilia nodded to Bunny and went to get some water, she knew that she had some in the truck somewhere. She felt the water to see if it was cool enough and it was. She came back with the water bottle. "Drink up carefully... This is one of the last water I have." Emilia told Bunny as she helped the red head drink. "She's not the only one who should sleep." Emilia said as she looked up at Jo. "As far as I understand you have been through quite the ordeal... You should rest as well. It's all that we can all do right now." the bowtie wearing woman said as she got up, putting the bottle water right next to Bunny. She stretched her sore arms, since carrying the lance was a battle on it's own. Even with how strong as she is, it was still heavy. "Come... Let's get you out of those clothes. Or at least clean them. I know a chemical that can get that right out." Emilia said as she waited for Jo to come with her.

"Oh, I barely did anything compared to you...I was so worried...y-you were really badass though, so that's a plus...!" He gave a small laugh, and a weak smile. He felt like he wanted to take Bunny's hand to try to comfort her somewhat--but he ended up feeling too shy, and kept his hands at his sides. "I'm so glad that you're okay..."

Bunny felt the cool water drip down her throat. Swallowing was hard, but she did it. In fact, everything was hard. She couldn't even move, and don't even get started on showering or going to the bathroom. Bunny smiled at Emilia.
"Thank you..." she said. "Don't...bother with the clothes...these are barely rags...if I didn't know better...Elliot was trying to cop a feel hitting my chest." she chuckled. Soon, her eye lids got heavy. She fell asleep to rest her body. Her vitals were normal and her heart of pumping.

Having heard all the commotion and gunshots from before, Gabriel had been rather curious as to what could possibly be happening. Even though he wanted to go and check it out, he was smart enough to realize that might not be the best idea, what with him unarmed, and so instead he took cover and waited for the sounds of battle to cease. As slowly,things died down, he could hear more chaos- but it had shifted to a different area. His curiosity still reigning free, he decided to go and explore now that it seemed safe, slinking towards the now decimated Baker Street like a gun-shy alley cat. Which, in a way, he was.

Stepping onto the street, the first thing he saw was rubble- and lots of it. "What the hell happened here...?" His nose wrinkled at the scent of smoke, still lingering even though the fight was over. There was something else too, something coppery. He was distracted before he could identify it however, as he noticed a small cluster of people not too far away. Tensing as he looked towards them, he quickly looked around for a weapon, still unsure of who to trust. Picking up a fist-sized rock, he crouched lower to the ground but stayed where he was, nervously watching the others.

He hardly wanted to be killed by the first people he met, after all.

Having largely recovered from the scare with Bunny, Bravery was in a much better mood now. He was tired, but he was happy, and after letting the medics treat him (which ended up going fairly quickly), he was good to go. He decided to let Bunny get some sleep, so he headed on outside of the tent. He looked around the area--the dust that had once been wafting through the air had settled onto the ground, and now the rubble was clear and easy to see. He began to wander a little bit, trying to see if there were any straggling Vultures who still needed to be given medical attention. As he looked around, he happened to see a man he didn't recognize--one wearing a black and red coat, with purple hair and tanned skin. Was that guy from Vulture? He was crouching down...was he injured...?
"Hey!" Bravery called to Gabriel, beginning to approach him. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Do you need a medic?"

Having begun to realize the people he could see were too busy tending to their friends to bother with him, Gabriel slowly began to relax, looking around curiously. It looked like some sort of battle had happen, though he supposed he had figured that out before he came to look. He wondered what they had been fighting about, how many had died for whatever cause they had.

He'd been about to creep closer when he heard a stranger yelling, and with a small jolt of shock he realized they were yelling at him. But... forcing himself to drop the rock he had been holding, he stood back up slowly. This stranger didn't seem like a threat... yet. "No, I'm fine," he called quickly, brushing a bit of dust off of his hands. As the other got closer, Gabriel found himself looking him over, taking in the... somewhat strange outfit, as well as the mask. "What happened here?" he asked cautiously, looking around the area before returning his attention to the man in front of him.

"Oh, it was a big battle," Bravery explained to him, stopping in front of the stranger. "Worm versus Vulture and all that. But apparently we won, which is good! But we lost a lot of people, which is bad." He paused for a moment, then began talking again. "What's your name? I'm Bravery."

Nodding slowly as the situation was explained, Gabriel gave the other male a bit of a sheepish smile. With all actions there were consequences, some just more painful than the others. It was sad that people had died of course, but he hadn't known them. "Who's we anyways? And..." He paused a moment, biting his lip as he debated; was it safe to tell this man his name? "... I'm Gabriel. It's nice to meet you, Bravery." Smirking playfully, he offered his hand as if to shake, but the instant their hands touched he gently twisted his wrist and brought both hands up to his mouth where he lightly kissed the back of Bravery's hand. He was slightly tensed, ready for any possible reaction- positive or negative.

Bravery just sort of gave Gabriel a cheerful smile, seeming to derp a bit at the hand-kiss. He had no idea what it meant, and was really thinking more along the lines of 'New friend! Yay!'
"Hmm? 'We' is Vulture Team. I mean--I used to be with the other team, but then I switched. You're--You're not with Worm, are you? Because then me talking to you could be bad." He frowned slightly, not having considered the possibility that Gabriel might not actually be an ally.

Chuckling softly as his mild flirting went seemingly unnoticed, Gabriel released their hand and listened curiously as the other started speaking, grinning a bit as he saw the worry on Bravery's face. "Don't worry, I'm definitely batting for your team." Still grinning, he stuck his hands in his pockets and looked over the blue-clad man before him, a vague part of his mind looking for things he could pick up when he wasn't paying attention. He couldn't help it; the urge was irresistible. And besides... it wasn't like Bravery wasn't nice to look at.

"You're so naive..." he mumbled softly, unable to help it as he grinned back. For a moment, he seemed hopeful- only to pout just a bit, having hoped the mask might be removed. Oh well; something to add to his to-do list. "Ah... I'm sure they're all very distracted, taking care of the wounded. I wouldn't want to bother, not at a time like this..." Though he'd adjusted quickly to Bravery, the thought of more people made him a bit nervous- he really wanted to find some sort of weapon, some small way to defend himself, before meeting more people...

"Oh... Right." Sighing a bit, Gabriel lifted a hand and brushed his hair out of his eyes, before stepping forward. "And besides, I'm on your guys' team; it won't do either of us any good to have them suspicious." Smiling quietly, he scanned the area for any sort of weapons- but considering most of the fighting hadn't been too near the entrance to the street, there wasn't much to be found. He'd just have to rely on his fists for now, it seemed.

He began heading back towards the camp, stopping for a moment and looking back at Gabriel, waiting for him to follow.
