Mr. Wednesday did what would probably resembled tilting his head to the side if he had a human neck when Nankis attempted to translate the dog's speech "Uhm.... yes...?" he replied, though he didn't sound awfully confident in himself. Was this thing an alien? It said it was from space, that was probably good enough. So eventually Wednesday gave in and pulled out his phone too, to look for Wikipedia! The first thing he did was look up the Soviet Union, since he had no idea what that was "The Wikipedia says that Soviet Union is old Ye-arth country... if this is its... erm- motherland? Then is from Ye-arth, yeah?" at this point, the dog was still talking, though he was speaking so quickly and without consideration for Nankis and Wednesday's phone searches that it was very difficult to keep up with what it was saying.

"Should we just bring it into base?"

Mr Nankis

Mr Nankis seemed as hesitant as Mr Wednesday about what to do with the dog. The animal's rapid speech was too much, and the man reached up to rub his temples as Wednesday searched for things. Having never been a stellar student, Nankis had no idea what the Soviet Union was, so he was still pretty sure that this was an alien...until Wednesday said that Wikipedia claimed otherwise. If Wikipedia said it was an Earth country...then it was probably true.

"..So it's not an alien?!"

Nankis was surprised that this weird thing could possibly not be an alien...it could just be lying, that was always a possibility. Either way, Wednesday's suggestion to take it to the base seemed like the wisest option. However, he couldn't stand for his partner thinking that this had been his own idea!

"Yeah, that's what I said-"

He added, confirming that they should, in fact, take the puppy to the base. He then went on to try and pick up the dog, carefully and gently, thinking that maybe it was an alien still and he might accidentally press a button on it that would destroy something.

Mr. Wednesday shook his head to his partner "No... Ye-arth dog-" he affirmed his discovery to Nankis, though it didn't look like any dog he'd ever seen before. Maybe space mutated it or something? Either way Wednesday didn't care, this assignment was weird and he wanted to get back to the office. Ignoring Nankis usual antics, he just accepted that his partner was going to hold the dog and he was going to hold the door for him. The dog didn't explode once picked up, in fact he didn't even burst into a mass of tentacles. It just sort of... stayed still speaking more Russian. It kept on talking and talking, Wednesday honestly didn't care anymore. They were just going to get it to HQ and then it was going to be someone else's problem. "I can't wait for weekend..." the Orcinian muttered as he left the apartment. No more Russian, please no more Russian...

Mr Nankis sort of pet the dog as he picked it up, hoping that it would stop speaking. It didn't seem to work. Either way he just sort of jerked his head for Wednesday to follow, and left the room. Heading back to the base, he kept a careful eye on the dog. Nankis just sort of huffed grumpily as he entered the base, plopping the puppy down on his superior's desk.

"Here's the thing I mentioned- it speaks Russian. Also it said it's from the Soviet Union and was sent into space like...forever ago? I don't know man, you deal with this.."

Wednesday just sort of stood behind Nankis the entire time on the way back to HQ, once they delivered the dog to their superior, Wednesday just sort of nodded in agreement to everything Nankis said. the sooner they could get rid of the thing the better. Of course, the dog hadn't stopped talking the entire time, which made the guy want to get out of there as quickly as possible. In fact, yeah, that was exactly what Wednesday was going to do "Agreed Nankis-dono! Uh- not our department!" the Orcinian then pulled Nankis out of the office with him so their superior wouldn't have a second to say anything back. IT WAS HIS PROBLEM NOW! Actually no. Wednesday returned to the office again to say "Also lunch break!" before closing the door AGAIN to make sure their superior couldn't say a thing back AGAIN. Letting out a sigh, Wednesday looked to Nankis "Day is almost over... thank the maker-" however, in the distance, both Nankis and Wednesday would hear something, it sounded like... screaming! Coming from outside!

Mr Nankis had to appreciate that, though Mr Wednesday was a dumb alien freak...he knew how to get rid of annoying situations. In this case, the dog. The man let himself be pulled out of the office by his partner, just sort of nodding and agreeing that this had nothing to do with them anymore, and it was time for a well-deserved break.

"You handled that pretty well, for an alien.."

He commented, and grinned as he thought about the nice food he'd be eating soon, as well as the weekend that Wednesday mentioned.

"Yeah, about time-"

Before any of them could enjoy their lunch break or thoughts of the weekend, the screaming happened. While he really wanted a lunch break, hearing people in need, and an opportunity to be seen as a hero, his enthusiasm was renewed.

"Screaming! We gotta go!"

Nankis dragged Wednesday with him as he left the base, following the screams.

Wednesday would have rose an eyebrow to Nankis if he had any after his somewhat back-handed compliment "Was that supposed to be an- erm, compliment?" Wednesday would like to touch upon that little alien subject, and he would have if not for the screaming. But of course the screams were more important. Wednesday shook himself free of Nankis' dragging to look out a window... that was way too much screaming for a minor accident. "Wait Nanki's-Dono! I have a bad feeling about this..." he warned his partner as he looked out the window. He could hear screaming, the sound of cars crashing, police sirens, and some strange high-pitched screeches. The last of those noises sounded particular abnormal, that was definitely not of this earth. Or so Wednesday thought as he beheld a sight through a window in their office. It was a terrible sight indeed, it was... GIANT ANTS!!! They swarmed throughout the streets of New Gotham. There were dozens, no, hundreds of those antennaed fiends. They seemed to be keen on devouring anything in their path, cars, buildings, even people! Mr. Wednesday let out a great gasp, he had never seen these creatures before "WHAT IS THIS!?" he yelled out, immediately pulling his nunchaku from his jacket in a defensive position. It was terrible, the entire city was being invaded, and the police didn't seem to be a match for these pincer-faced fiends! As Wednesday stood frozen as fear, an ant suddenly burst into the building from the very same window he was looking out from letting out that same familiar screech. Wednesday stood completely still in fear, having never seen something quite like this before. He couldn't move his body no matter how much he tried, despite the immediate danger of the GIANT ANTS!!!

Mr Nankis was already outside the base when he spotted the terrible, terrible threat of the GIANT ANTS. Unlike Mr Wednesday, he hadn't had the sense to actually look out the window to see what he was up against first, so he was stuck, frozen momentarily as he found himself face to face with one of the giant insects. Nankis ran back inside, leaning against the closed door and breathing heavily as he looked at his partner with wide eyes.

"GIANT. ANTS."

He said, just as the ant that he had been faced with burst through the window. This was awkward.

"Wednesday, move!!!"

Hastily pulling his laser gun out, Nankis shot at the gargantuan fiend before attempting for the second time that day to tackle Mr Wednesday, this time actually trying to get him out of danger, as the alien didn't seem to be responding.

So Wednesday hadn't really managed to wrap his mind around the GIANT ANTS concept quite yet, and he was still frozen in front of said GIANT ANT for the time being. Thankfully, as the terrible insectoid was zapped by Nankis' laser, it let out a monstrous screech and began to back away after losing an eye to the attack. It wasn't until Nankis tackled the Orcinian that he woke up "NANKIS-DONO! WHAT ARE THIS!?" he yelled, since he honestly had no idea what ants are. Wednesday got himself up from the tackle and looked up towards the screeching ant, and saw that Nankis' laser had not only wounded it but distracted it. "CHANCE!" the Orcinian yelled as he put his nunchucks away and just charged the thing. As he charged it, he jumped up into the air at the last second and yelled "FISHMAN.... CHOP!!!" before throwing a karate chop towards the ants' head. With his massive strength, the thing's head was split in two. One down, hundreds to go. As the ant went limp, Wednesday turned back to his partner "Fishman Karate! Never leave home without it!" nevermind how stupid that name sounded, Wednesday looked out the window to see a horde of GIANT ANTS heading straight towards the base!

Mr Nankis wasn't sure how to explain the concept of ants to Mr Wednesday, for now he was just glad that his partner had gotten round to doing things, which meant they might have greater chances of survival.

"They're Earth creatures! But these are...TOO GIANT!"

He summarized, and was relieved to find that Wednesday didn't need to understand the concept, he could chop at the ants either way. The splitting of the ant's head was almost as shocking to Nankis as the initial encounter with the ants themselves- he hadn't realized how strong the Orcinian was. The man sort of just nodded as his partner reminded him to never leave home without Fishman Karate. He made a mental note to learn that martial art, but for now he had to stick to his laser gun, as hundreds of giant ants were headed towards the base.

"Wednesday, do we have any explosives?! We gotta destroy these things before they destroy our base!"

Nankis ran further into the base, looking desperately for grenades or TNT or SOMETHING. He was struggling, and as he did he muttered.

"No fuckin' explosives anywhere, thanks ALIENS-"

Wednesday looked quite shocked at the concept of these things being from Earth "WHAT!? I THOUGHT HUMANS WERE FROM YE-ARTH!?" this definitely came as a shock to the good Orcinian. Wednesday looked out from the now shattered window to look out towards the horde of ants rushing them. He turned to Nankis when asked about explosives, to which Wednesday rose his hand up and ready to chop "I can chop them!" he proudly told the human. Since well, he didn't have explosives, BUT WHO NEEDED THAT WHEN YOU COULD CHOP ANTS' HEADS IN TWO!? As Nankis searched for explosives, Mr. Wednesday did exactly that: he rushed into the ant swarm and just started chopping at ants' heads over and over again. It got to the point where there was just a hill of dead ants with big holes in their heads. You could hear Wednesday's repeated battle cries from the swarm "FISHMAN CHOP! FISHMAN CHOP! FISHMAN CHOP! WATAH!" unfortunately, not even Wednesday could handle them all, and he was slowly but surely being overwhelmed by the GIANT ANTS. Despite chopping nearly a dozen ants, they surrounded him on all sides and attempted to bite into his arms and fin. Although his skin was durable enough to not have him ripped to shreds by this, it still hurt like hell "GAAAAH! STUPID YE-ARTH CREATURES!" the Oricinian yelled as he attempted to free himself from the ants' frenzy with little success.

Mr Nankis was frustrated by his partner's struggle to understand the existence of the ants; sure it was justified, but Nankis just saw it as a lack of effort on Wednesday's part.

"There's lots of stuff from Earth! Ants included! Just...not like these!"

He waved the question away, not wanting to get any further into it, they were both too busy trying to stay alive and somehow preserve the base. Nankis looked skeptical as Mr Wednesday claimed that he could chop all the ants...but at least any efforts from his partner would mean more time for him to find explosives. He heard the sounds of Wednesday fighting in the background as he struggled to find anything to help against the ants. Finding that his search was useless, he turned back, seeing the pile of corpses left in Wednesday's path...but also that his partner was being attacked by the overwhelming giant ant army.

"Ah fuck- Hang on a second!"

Turning one of his spare laser guns to maximum power, Nankis shot at the ants that were attacking Wednesday. He then took some duct tape from one of the desks- because what self-respecting organization doesn't have duct tape lying around? -and taped the trigger to that it would release a steady beam of destructive lasers, throwing it at the swarm of ants.

"Wednesday, get out of there! That thing's gonna-"

Before long, the weapon blew up, much like a grenade, having overheated from the high-intensity lasers being fired without pause. So that had been one way to deal with that.

Wednesday was busy repeatedly chopping an ant in the face when he heard Nankis' voice from afar "That makes no sense Nankis-dono!" he called out in response to him saying there were ALSO ants here. That made no sense, humans were from Earth, not whatever the fuck these things were. At least, that's what Wednesday had repeatedly been told by HUMANS. Unfortunately Wednesday had no time to think through the deep philosophical ramifications of these ants, before a highly destructive laser explosion was just about to happen. How did Mr. Wednesday know this? Well he heard Nankis' voice, and then he turned to look at said weapon. And then he decided it was best to get the fuck out "Cthuga!" Wednesday cursed as he slid on the corpse of a giant ant to escape the blast, which still sent him hurdling into the streets. He eventually fell onto a car which luckily broke his fall. Suddenly... things seemed to get rather quiet. Wednesday didn't notice anymore ants in the distance "Did... did we win?" the Orcinian asked as he hesitantly looked to his surroundings. It was rather weird how quiet it all was...

Mr Nankis covered himself behind one of the desks when he saw the gun was about to blow- having seen Wednesday get out of the way, he knew he had to get himself to safety now. While Wednesday got blasted onto the street, Nankis was thrown backwards, further into the base, and rubbed his head as he got up. He suddenly remembered there were giant ants and pulled another laser gun out, ready to shoot at any sudden attacks...but this never came. The pile of charred ant corpses wasn't moving, and there didn't seem to be any of them left. As he moved towards the exit, he heard Wednesday's voice from outside the base.

"Um... I think so?"

Looking around, he also saw nothing approaching. So his somewhat suicidal plan had worked?

"Yeah, definitely- all according to plan, Wednesday."

He brushed the dirt off of his suit and fixed his tie, smirking with satisfaction at his achievement- nevermind Wednesday's part in chopping up a great deal of the assailants, Nankis was busy thinking of how great he was for making his gun explode and kill all those ants.

Wednesday found himself slowly standing back up from the car, shaking the pain off, he looked to his partner "We- we did it! We saved the city!" he happily cheered as he jumped off the car. Hopefully that guy had good car insurance. The Orcinian started to slowly walk to Nankis, though he had a notable limp from the whole affair. At least he was in one shape "Such glory!" he then cheered, before being promptly hit with what seemed to be a laser blast, which sent Wednesday flying into a nearby building in the blink of an eye.

"Uck- YOU ANNOYING PESTS! YOU KILLED MY ANTS!" an unfamiliar voice called out from afar, it was high-pitched and annoying, and it had a certain hollow echo to it. Oh, and it most certainly belonged to something not of this world. Slowly, HE came into view! He began to walk closer into Nankis' view, by walking on power lines! UPSIDE DOWN! In a display that showed a blatant disregard for physics in general, the being came into view: at first, he looked like a man in armor. With his sleek metallic-looking form, and an impressive visor, he looked not unlike a superhero in some regards. But upon closer inspection, he was not wearing armor, that was an exoskeleton, and that visor was his eyes! The being kept on walking under he stood directly over Mr. Wednesday, who in a daze had managed to walk out of the store. The alien then dropped from the power lines and landed directly on Wednesday's back. Not only did he perfectly land on the poor Orcinian, but he landed on him with enough power to send Wednesday plummeting into the ground, creating a small crater. Stroking what was presumably his chin, the being's focus was upon Mr. Nankis "This is... DISAPPOINTING! How could weaklings such as you have killed my ants!? OOOOOH- YOU WORTHLESS PESTS!!" he yelled, gently walking off Wednesday who was now in an even shittier condition.

Mr Nankis

Mr Nankis was pretty pleased with himself, one might say he even appreciated Wednesday for a moment, as the Orcinian started limping towards him. The man was ready to take his partner and go have a drink somewhere after a day that had been much too long. Once again he was ready to take a break...and once again he was interrupted by something that was decidedly not human. And that something had blasted his partner.

"Oh NOT AGAIN! What do I have to do to get a fucking lunch break around here?!"

Nankis was evidently upset, and as the alien approached him, rudely ignoring the physics that kept order on Earth, the man didn't seem as intimidated as he should have been. Maybe it was the rush of adrenaline from killing all the ants, maybe it was the lack of a break, or maybe it was seeing his partner getting hurt by someone other than himself, but he was pissed.

"Hey dick! I'm the one that hurts Wednesday, not you!"

He growled, wincing slightly as the unknown creature landed on Wednesday. That couldn't be good for the Orcinian's health.. It was then that the creature spoke up, and Nankis clenched his jaw, holding his laser gun tight.

"I am so done with you fucking aliens taking up all of my free time- this isn't my fucking department's problem! Your ants are gone cause they're idiots, just like the rest of the filth that has been infesting Earth since that portal-thing opened, so just take a corpse, bury it, and get the fuck out! I was offered a spot in the traffic patrol, I don't need this!"

The creature slowly began to approach Nankis, each and every step feeling like a tremor "SILENCE! You pathetic hummie! Bzzzzzzt- oh your attitude just makes me SO MAD! YOU WILL BE PUNISHED!" and suddenly, the alien stomped one leg against the ground, making it shake as he aimed his arm out towards Nankis with his palm open. Slowly, a strange ball of light began to gather in front of his palm. He wasn't holding a weapon, but that light certainly didn't look friendly "Oh...? That's rather ironic really... because I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THE HUMAN RACE!" the small ball of light suddenly expanded, before shooting out straight for Nankis "BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF LORD SCHIZOPHORA! AHAHAHAHA!" this ball of light, while heading straight towards Mr. Nankis, was eradicating nearly everything in its path. And something about it felt just wrong, Nankis' skin would literally be crawling in its presence.

Mr Nankis was clearly not ready to deal with this alien's shit right now- he started aiming his laser gun at the alien's head, unwilling to have a conversation

"Man, I don't need your shi-"

The ground was shaking before he could finish his sentence, and the laser blasted off to one side. Well. He hadn't expected that. Nankis was now looking warily at the light forming on the alien's palm...that couldn't be good.Lights coming from aliens always seemed to cause more problems for him, so instead of trying to shoot it, as would have been his first instinct in other situations, Nankis ducked as it came straight for him. The raw power surrounding the ball, even as it just got close to him but did not touch him. The man's eyes were wide as he picked himself up and stared at the immediate threat- Lord Schizophora.

"You need to get the fuck outta my planet, you shit.."

He growled, not hesitating to shoot at the man now as he moved around and shot with his laser gun from different positions, hoping to avoid any more of the evil light that he really didn't want coming close to him again.

As Nankis ducked under the sphere of raw destructive power, it zoomed right past him and hit a nearby building... and then that building blew up. note to self: do not get hit by scary glowy thingies! Twitching his head to the side angrily, Lord Schizphora continued his slow advance on the human "How about you get off MY new planet, hummie!? THE WORLD IS MINE!" he energetically yelled before Nankis began to fire laser beams at the alien. Each and every shot seemed to dissipate as it hit some sort of invisible shield around the being "Bzzzt- pathetic- human technology is so backwards..." he muttered before moving at an unnatural speed towards Nankis. He was like a blur, he was nearly impossible to watch with the human eye, which made it all the more terrible when he was suddenly behind Nankis "Let's see how much that puny human body holds up against THIS!" he yelled as he... FLICKED AT NANKIS' HEAD- which probably had enough force to send him flying into the street.

Mr Nankis' eyes seemed to widen further as the building that was hit by the ball of light quite literally exploded. This was escalating at a rate that the KK agent most definitely did not appreciate, but he could at least console himself in the fact that he could fire at this dude as much as he wanted now...except the laser beams didn't even seem to be reaching Lord Schizophora. Cursing under his breath, Nankis put his laser gun away- it was evident that that wasn't going to work.

"That same technology seemed to hold up just fine against your freak-of-nature babies.."

He pointed out, but before he could continue the provocation, the alien was in front of him- the unnatural speed was yet another thing Nankis had not been counting on. Schizophora was not behind him, and before anything could be done, Nankis felt himself propelled forwards be a mere flick to the back of his head. He crashed into a store window- again -and his mind was spinning now as he dizzily picked himself up.

"What- so you were too much of a loser to do anything in your planet, so you had to come and see what you could find here? You think you're entitled to something here? Gonna take all our jobs?! Damn fuckin' illegal aliens-"

Amazingly, Nankis was still taunting the alien, despite Lord Schizophora's clear physical and technological superiority- Nankis' prejudice ran deeper than his self-preservation instinct, it seemed. He looked in Wedneday's direction, but the crater that he found his partner in made it clear that it would be difficult to request for help from him. Running out of ideas, Nankis pulled his laser gun out, seemingly aiming at Schizophora...except he was aiming just slightly beside and behind him, at an electrical pole, hoping to bring it crashing down onto the alien.

Despite Nankis flying through the street into a building, which should have made Schizo quite happy, he was forever pissed off at Nankis' endless mocking "Bzzzzt- YOU MORON! Those were ordinary ants mutated thanks to my SORCERY! You will find I am quite different from the Earth insect however-" he retorted to the KK agent, it was evident that he was taking this guy's words way too much to heart. Even when Nankis started talking about taking earth jobs, Lord Schizophora took his claims quite literally "FOOLISH HUMAN! I am not here to take Earth-jobs! I am here to CONQUER IT! After being expelled from my planet, I seek to rebuild my domain elsewhere! What better place than an uncivilized backwater planet like Earth!?" and then Nankis fired at an electrical pole, which then promptly fell on Schizophora while also letting out quite an electric discharge. And none of it fucking mattered. Lord Schizphora literally caught the pole as it fell, it's electricity doing nothing to him... and then he just looked at the thing. It was hard to read him... since he really didn't have a face, but it wasn't hard to guess what he was thinking "I think I have an ideaaaa~" he spoke happily as he then kept the pole and slowly began to advance on Nankis...

"Are all aliens this fucking stupid?"

Mr Nankis asked as he realized Lord Schizophora was totally taking everything he said to a very literal level right now. If his opponent was so clueless, Nankis thought the pole thing might actually work! ...And then it was turned against him. Horribly.

"....WELL you tried to conquer us with ants so like, I don't see you getting too far on this planet, just sayin'.."

He backed away, slowly at first, then at an increasing rate until he turned and started running away from the pole. After a few seconds he realized this wouldn't be helping a lot...so he sort of went around and tried to go at Schizo from behind. Read however you will. Nankis proceeded to flick Schizo, thinking that maybe he could totally channel the same flick-power that the alien had used on him...then thinking again, he took out his gun and sort of tried to hit the back of the alien's head. Just in case the flick didn't work. Then he dove behind a toppled truck.

"LOSER-"

Nankis called out from behind the truck, carefully shielding himself from the much-too-powerful alien thing that could quite possibly destroy him.

Schizophora took offense to that, all of that "FOOOOL! INSECTS RULED THE EARTH FOR MILLENIA LONGER THAN YOU FOOLISH HUMMIES EVER COULD! THE AGE OF YOU HAIRLESS APES HAS COME TO AN END, NOW IT IS TIME FOR MY INSECTS TO RISE! AHAHA- what the-?" the alien's monologue was interrupted by flicking. That really confused him more so than it hurt him. At the very least it was kind of successful, since it bought Nankis a free moment to hit him with the gun before Lord Schizophora went up and swung the pole at him. Luckily for the guy, he was already runny for the truck by the time he swung, so his attack did nothing. "BZZZZZT!!" Schizphora was quite pissed, seeing Nankis hiding from the bus just seemed to be the last straw "FORGET HUMANITY! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF YOUUUUU!!!!!" he screamed as he then repeatedly shot out magic blasts at the truck to blow it up. He REALLY wanted to blow up Nankis.

Mr Nankis was pretty stoked that his flicking then pistol-whipping at worked. The nameless narrator says 'stoked' because that is, in fact, the word that Nankis was using in his head to describe his feelings. He was secretly a surfer-dude at heart. There was also an undeniable wave of relief as his dive for the truck saved him from being painfully impaled by the pole that he had initially intended to use as his own weapon. Of course, the KK agent couldn't help but snicker at the alien's bug noises- they were all a bit much -but that also meant that he didn't see the various explosions coming. Luckily he had the truck taking some of the brunt of the attack..but as he does not have a plot shield, he was still affected quite heavily by it: thrown back against an electricity pole, he was unconscious, and for a few moments, his heart stopped.
That was the end of Nankis, due to his lack of a plot shield.
...
BUT THEN he was leaning on an electricity pole full of loose wires, and eventually one of them, after swinging around aimlessly, hit the dead KK agent. The current that went through him jolted him back to life and, with his hairs frizzing way out of control, Nankis was suddenly back to life.

"OWWW THAT FUCKING STINGS-!"

He cried, cursing in what sounded more like an alien dialect than actual English. Not knowing what to do, he just applied the same trick he had used on the ants- overheating a laser gun and hoping the explosion would deal some damage.

Schizophora silently watched Nankis' demise with much anticipation. He very much so enjoyed that explosion, there was nothing better than a cooked hummie "Bzzzt... dirty hairless monkey..." he muttered in a dark voice as he turned away from the scene. With that dealt with, he could once more summon a horde of GIANT ANTS to devour humanity. A yes, he could already imagine the violence and screaming that would ensue, humanity's future would be it's own extinction! THE WORLD WAS HIS- and then he heard Nankis again. Letting out a sigh and then a buzz, Schizophora slowly turned back to Nankis and began to approach him. As he overloaded his weapon, the creature simply grabbed him by his wrist and lifted him upwards. He put pressure into Nankis' wrist so he'd drop the weapon then looked him right in the eyes "Bzzzt... quite impressive for a human... you're like a cockroach, bzzzt..." he spoke, at this point Nankis would be able to look at Schizophora's many, MANY eyes, all looking at him "BUT ALAS! YOU WILL NOW FEEL THE MIGHTY STING OF... LORD SCHIZOPHORA! AHAHAHAHAHA!" and so the being lifted Nankis up in the air, apparently about to commit to the final killing strike.

He then asked "Any last words...?"

He probably shouldn't have said that.
