Inna lifted her eyebrows at Giovanni's show of strength- the rumbling and the flames were all very impressive, but the showing off was getting tiresome.
"Like a monkey, da."
She muttered, then couldn't help but mourn the waste of the only rocket she had on her. That was unfortunate. Almost as unfortunate as Giovanni's speed as he rushed towards her, not giving her time to react before she felt the heat of his flaming legs on her mask. Had she not already been severely scarred but also protected by her mask, she might have been worried, but that wasn't the case, so she just winced at the actual pain as her head snapped back from the force of the kick. She could, however, predict that another attack would be coming, so she stepped further from Giovanni before his second kick could land.
"I am not sure you aware aware of what you are dealeeng weeth."
She stated, cracking her knuckles as her eyes glowed a brighter red- she wouldn't be caught off-guard like that anymore. Her senses were now enhanced, and she was now aware of every fiber of her own body and her surroundings. Giovanni had made it clear enough that he had no training, so Inna knew that what she had to worry about was the brute force provided by the Heatstroke drug. Running towards the van, she used the now-closed doors as a base as she took two steps and propelled herself into the air, flipping backwards so that she was now behind Giovanni. She wasted no time, targeting the pressure points of his legs in hopes of putting the fire out, stabbing brutally at these points with the spike of one hand while jabbing carefully with the fingers of the other.

Mr Bear replied matter-of-factly to Kraven as he attempted to decapitate him, a mechanical sound that sounded disapproving coming from the wound that was sparking and oozing stuffing as the attack only cut his opponent's knife. The bear was not phased by the sight of the particle cannon on Kraven's shoulders, the words on his screen telling him what was evident in Kraven's distressed expression: it needed to charge up. Mr Bear fearlessly and methodically approached Kraven, attacking thrice, one attacked followed immediately by the other- first the bear slashed at the arm supporting the particle cannon before immediately swinging the blade in a diagonal downwards motion across Kraven's chest, then effortlessly maneuvering the blade to stab into the nun man's knee before attempting to carve his way up Yuri's leg. It was supposed to be clean and effortless.

Giovanni could't help but get pissed at Inna's lack of care for how cool he was "COME ON THAT WAS TOTALLY COOL! NOT LIKE A MONKEY!" he barked back to her, landing on his feet after his second kick. He couldn't help but smirk as Inna talked herself up "Oh, I know who you are... Inna Dragovich! Though I must say you're a lot more of a hottie then I would have imagined! I'm confused though... where's the Wolfpac... and why are you working with the EXACT type of man you usually hunt? Tch- he's probably paying you a lot of cash! I guess even YOU'VE got a price these days..." as the woman went in to disable his legs, he actually knew it was coming. The man looked back, matching eyes with Inna moments before she attacked "You're too slow!" he mocked her as he jumped into the air, avoiding her attacks. Daddio then came spiraling down, throwing an axe kick down towards Inna's head. The guy was getting confident, and he had his reasons. The Heatstroke Superdrug was powerful, god knows how dangerous it'd be in better trained hands.

Kraven couldn't help but find disgust in Bear's words "They killed you... you're not even human anymore!" he knew he couldn't appease to the man that Mr. Bear once was. No, that man was dead. But Kraven couldn't help but try, for what it was worth. Kraven's eyes widened as Bear went in for the kill once more. Kraven let out a pained grunt as he dropped the particle cannon after being slashed across the arm. "GAH! Heh... hahaha... BWAHAHAHHAHAHA!" Kraven stumbled backwards as he was mercilessly slashed across the chest, his blood spraying across Mr. Bear's body. Kraven attempted to throw a weak punch towards Bear's face, but as Bear's subsequent stab into his knee resulted in Kraven practically losing a leg. The nun got on a knee as he looked up towards the assassin defiantly as he Bear's sword carved up his leg "N-no..." Kraven muttered, a weak expression on his face. It looked like Kraven had fallen for a moment, but then his eyes began to glisten, his skin turned pale, and an aura unlike anything he had used before began to grow around him. With a sudden burst of power, Yuri grabbed Mr. Bear by the throat, quickly lifting him into the air. Yuri up towards Bear "Everyone dies... even you Harv..." he told the assassin, getting back on his feet as he lifted the assassin further up into the air. Yuri looked different, he almost looked like a ghost. This was completely different from how his Killer Gene usually worked, Kraven was on the verge of tapping into powers he never knew he had before...

Inna scowled at Giovanni's words- they were the same that she had often attacked herself with, hating what she was and what she would inevitably become. However, this anger built up was no longer directed at herself; this man was trying to rile her up, and he had managed to do it in all the worst ways.
"You are the exact type of man I usually hunt."
She corrected, growling as her attacks missed and a powerful attack was coming her way. This time she had the awareness and speed to move out of the way, stepping back just enough to not take the full blow, but still being shaken by the impact of the man's kick with the ground, forcing herself to keep her balance as she tried to take advantage of this position to immobilize Giovanni. The Russian attempted to get the man's head into a lock, jerking her midsection abruptly to one side in an attempt to snap the man's neck.

The ninjas that had been working with Mr Bear had been trying to get into this battle, but after it had become clear that they would only be shot down by this enemy, they stopped attacking and awaited orders from Mr Bear. The cyborg noticed this and complied.
"Take the children."
If they weren't going to help dealing with Kraven, they might as well ensure that their mission was successful. The ninjas rushed to the van, attempting to open the doors only to notice that the strength Inna had used to shut them gotten them stuck. After a few moments the ninjas simply boarded the van, starting it up and seemingly ready to speed off with the van and its cargo. Detail: Mr Bear had also handed them the gold, so they were getting away with everything.
Back to Mr Bear: He didn't seem to be paying much attention to the mind trick Kraven was trying to play. Any humanity that may have been left of Mr Harvey had been extinguished when his own son, Isaac, had killed him back in No Man's Land. He was truly no more than a shell now, a killing machine for Black Dragon. Seeing that his attacks were successful, the bear was already turning, ready to leave with the ninjas, the children and the gold.
If he was capable of feeling surprise, Mr Bear would have been surprised at Yuri's sudden surge of strength. The cyborg was caught completely off-guard, something that was supposed to be physically impossible, and was being lifted by the glowing nun man. Sparks started coming from the point of contact with the bear's throat, and he started stabbing at Kraven's chest, the mechanical attacks still coming in a controlled flurry.

Giovanni's expression started to darken as Inna told him bluntly that he was the exact type of man she hunted. Once she said that, he went into full blown desperation mode "S-shut up! You don't know anything! You're nothing but a fucking monster! I bet you're JUST like him" Daddio yelled out, mostly just to lash out against the woman as he slowly started to feel helpless. As Inna came in from behind, he could feel her reaching for his neck so he threw a back kick towards her and began to run away. He made sure to use his enhanced speed to get away as quickly as he could "You're NO ONE! You hear me!? I AIN'T GOING BACK TO BEING A NOBODY! I'M A SOMEBODY NOW! I HAVE POWER NOW AND IT'S MINE!" he screamed to her as he saw the Black Dragon footmen running off with his gold AND his van. Daddio's expression widened as they started to drive off "W-WAIT! YOU MASSIVE CUNTS! THAT'S MY MONEY! YOU FUCKERS! YOU FUCKERRRSSSS!!!!" he yelled, looking over to his footmen "What are you waiting for! Stop them!" he yelled, only to just be looking at a mass of corpses Inna had created from his footmen. This terrified the blonde, he was without his men, without his money, without his power. The man fell on his butt on the ground, practically lost to despair. He looked up to Inna, teary eyed, he was genuinely terrified of what would happen next "PLEASE! OH GOD don't kill me! I'm sorry! S-stop them! They're getting away with the kids! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" he begged her, trying his beck to crawl away from her while still looking up to her defensively.

At this point, Kraven didn't care about the mission. He wanted to kill Mr. Bear so bad that nothing else mattered. The Killer Gene had such a hold on him now that he was almost single-mindedly focused on his enemy "I'm not gonna lie...'' Kraven muttered to the assassin "I'm enjoying this!'' he happily bragged as Yuri used his newfound strength to hoist the cyborg into the air. He pulled at Bear's body from both sides with his arms with such strength that he literally ripped him in two, Bear's blood, guts, and circuits spilling all over Kraven. Bear. Kraven had literally ripped Mr. Bear in half "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!'' the man laughed erratically as he fell down to his knees. He covered his face laughing uncontrollably. He couldn't control his body, the Killer Gene was too much for him. So there he was, on his knees laughing like a deranged lunatic covered in the entrails of his former ally. Too weak and psychotic to bother dealing with anything else going on around him. He just bathed in his enemy's blood and lost himself.

Inna just ignored Giovanni's words, focusing on trying to kill him, but she couldn't stop the back kick from her position, and so was thrown back with a small uff. She recovered immediately and started going after Daddio, but she noticed, just as he did, that Black Dragon was getting away. She was here to kill Giovanni, sure, but most importantly, she was here to save the children that he was trying to sell. The Russian was running after the van now, pausing briefly only to send a powerful kick at Giovanni's head, aiming to knock him out but, not controlling the strength she was putting into the kick, possibly killing him. She sped after the van, which had waited only the briefest of moments for Mr Bear before driving off, still picking up speed. Cursing under her breath, she shot at the van's tires, making it skid to one side, slowing it momentarily and giving Inna just the opportunity she needed. With a burst of strength, she pushed herself forwards, leaping onto the roof of the van and stabbing into where the ninja at the wheel would be. She ripped the roof away, throwing various of the ninjas out of the van before lowering herself into the van, getting behind the wheel and ripping the briefcase out of the final ninja's hands, headbutting him into unconsciousness.
"You are safe now."
She called to the children, peering behind to check that they were still a thing. Inna then turned the van around, heading back to the parking lot to pick Kraven up and possibly finish Giovanni off...only to see Kraven laughing manically as he bathed in blood and circuitry.
"...."
Holding the briefcase tightly in one arm, she stepped out of the van, approaching Kraven without even taking note of Giovanni's state. She stared at the mess of a man that was before her right now, her own red eyes dimming until they were back to their normal green, and she felt slightly sick at this sight.
"Kraven. Yuree."
She snapped, speaking with the short, curt bursts of a commander telling off a soldier who was disobeying orders, but not nearly as loud as she had intended.

Kraven continued to laugh like a maniac until Inna called him out. And then in a flash... he was quiet. Kraven's once mad smile was replaced with a solemn, emotionless expression "...'' he looked over to her, a look in disgust in his eyes. It was the type of look you rarely saw from a man like Kraven, and it wasn't clear what he was thinking. He then just stood up, wiping the blood off his face as he spoke in a quiet voice "Excuse me-'' he spoke in a weak voice, hiding his face from Inna by turning his back on her. Crossing his arms, he continued to speak to the Russian, but without looking towards her "I want to know how they got the kids... talk to him, NOW.'' Inna had managed to NOT kill Daddio. Though she had definitely did damage to his neck, it wasn't anything fatal.

Inna was actually worried about Kraven for the first time, though she would continue to reject this for quite some time now. His manic joy suddenly being replaced by complete emotionlessness couldn't be normal...but then again, Kraven really wasn't normal. She observed as he hid his face, and wondered what he was trying to hide, but then he was giving her orders, which she did not appreciate.
"Do not-"
She stopped herself, turning to notice that Giovanni was still alive. She only felt relief because her initial intention had not been to kill him with that kick in the first place. Also because now she could get this information. Clenching her fists and gritting her teeth to stop herself from lashing out at Kraven, she approached Giovanni, crossing her arms and standing looking down at him.
"Where deed you get the cheeldren?"
The Russian asked bluntly, nudging the man with her foot to get him to pay attention. She kept glancing back at the van to check that it was still there.

Kraven just stood there with his back turned, he didn't make a single noise. It was as if he had spontaneously turned into a statue. Daddio, meanwhile, was crying like a baby and rolling around in pain. Generally being an annoyance "Oh god it hurts... oh god oh god my neck-" Gio whimpered, only turning to look at Inna as he heard her voice. He was quite obviously terrified of her, as when he turned to face her, he early froze in fear just by looking at her mask. "Gah!" Daddio attempted to jolt back, but that ended up fucking his neck up more so he jut sort of screamed for awhile. He was very obviously not used to the pain thing. When Inna asked him where he got the children, he was quick to respond "T-the hotel! I own it! Everyone working here is on my payroll, they do kidnappings for the family! It's not my fault I swear! I just inherited this all from my father I didn't want any of this!" he almost immediately went back to begging for his life.
Kraven, meanwhile, seemed to be rather focused now. "Kill him." Kraven ordered Inna as he cocked a newly teleported rifle into his hands "I'll handle the rest..." it was readily apparent Kraven intended to massacre everyone in the building right now. They were all guilty after all. They all needed to go.

Upon seeing Giovanni's pathetic display, Inna just sort of shook her head pitifully- this guy wasn't meant to have this sort of power, he didn't have what it takes. As he went on to explain how he got the children, the Russian nodded and turned to Kraven...only to hear his order to kill him. She noticed the look of resolve in his eyes as he headed towards the building- he was going to do a thing. Not a good thing. Abandoning her previous goal to get rid of Giovanni, she sort of hit the blonde again, just to knock him out, and ran to intercept Kraven.
"Nyet."
Inna didn't know why she was trying to stop Kraven, she had given up on 'good people' long ago, so it couldn't be because she thought there might be 'good people' inside, but something was stopping her from letting her father kill all these people. That very thought was in reality what was subconsciously stopping her- she didn't want to believe, yet again, that her father would do this, and that she would have to witness him doing it. This realization made her widen her eyes behind the mask- she couldn't put this personal affair before the life of the future potential kidnappees if this operation was allowed to keep working.
"Only the workers. The guests...they are the keednapees, not the keednappers."
Inna corrected, now determined to go in with Kraven to make sure they cleansed the casino of all the corruption inside, and hoping to be able to stop Yuri, as well as herself, from being consumed by bloodlust and hurting those who were not, in this case, guilty.

Kraven only came to a momentary stop as Inna spoke to him. It was easy to tell that nothing she told him was really getting into his head. He had that same blank look in his eyes. He just nodded to Inna and said "They don't deserve to live..." he was not going to spare anyone. He didn't have the time to deal with whom was guilty and whom wasn't. They all died, that way he knew that the job was done for sure "Humanity knows one thing: violence. Tragedy. Death. They will learn... but only after I steal their fathers from them, theirs sons, their daughters, their wives... every one of them will be butchered like the animals that they are. There's only one certainty in life and that is DEATH. I am simply working as an agent of nature. Do not get in my way." the blonde walked towards the elevator. It was time to get to the lobby to start the cleansing.

Inna couldn't help but scowl in astonishment as she heard Kraven's response. It seemed that, in the month they had spent training, she had allowed her view of him to soften. She was being reminded that this was a heartless creature, not her father, and she could no longer expect him to redeem himself in her own mind.
"You may be keelleeng more Keeller Gene cheeldren! You do not know what we might find een there-"
Her words were obviously going to deaf ears- Kraven was already heading into the building, ready to kill everyone. She followed him in, determined to evacuate anyone not wearing some sort of uniform, but accepting that her failure would mean that she would be forced to accept once and for all that her father was gone, and Kraven was all that was left. She made a final attempt to change the man's mind.

Kraven shook his head at Inna's words "Sacrifices for the greater good-" was his response when she told him he could be slaughtering those with the Killer Gene. In his mind, he was stopping stuff like this from ever happening again. He just had to instill enough FEAR into the populace. The man came to a stop as Kraven tried to reason with him. But there was no reasoning with madness, especially not Kraven's. The blonde's immediate response was to pull a gun out on the Russian, pointing it towards her face "Do you intend to stop me...?" Kraven asked in a monotone voice. His eyes were cold and heartless, this was beyond the man who laughed as he committed senseless violence. This Kraven was a lot more dangerous.

Inna forced herself to keep her expression neutral even behind her mask, refusing to admit the horrified feeling that came over her as she heard Kraven speak about sacrificing his own kind. She knew he was willing to kill regular humans just for fun, but she thought this very mission proved that he had some sort of purpose other than senseless killing- to protect his own.
"What...happened..?"
She asked, her voice barely a whisper before she looked up, confronted with Kraven's gun. The Russian said nothing for a second, her eyes moving from the barrel of the gun to the eyes of the man holding it.
"Da."
Inna said simply, every muscle in her body tense, yet she would not move out of the way of the gun. Her eyes seemed to be trying to burn some message into Kraven's mind.

Kraven cocked his gun, holding it up against Inna's head. Then Inna spoke, and Kraven finally broke from his emotionless expression. He pressed the gun's barrel against her masked as he suddenly donned a rather twisted smile "I had a bad day-" he responded in a low, blood-lusted voice "Don't take it personal, it was way before you were born." and then the blonde pulled the trigger. Click. Click. Click. The nun's expression changed to a rather annoyed look. He had just run out of ammo. He pulled on the trigger over and over again, but nothing "Tch!" the blonde threw the gun aside and shook his head "You're no fun, no fun at all-" he turned his back on the Russian and let out a small fit of laughter. It sounded more nervous than anything else "Don't be fooled. This isn't the Killer Gene... this is just how I am. You can't change that. It's too late-" Yuri felt as if he should have had flashbacks to his talks with Ryder. He too attempted to save Kraven, but none of them understood how far gone he was.
"I'm an evil man and everyone knows it. I'd like to believe myself, that I had a bad day, a tragic backstory sounds rather romantic. But I think I was always evil. I was just waiting for an opportunity to go off the deep end-"

Inna was beyond grateful to have her mask at that moment- as Kraven went on to pull the trigger, her face twisted into an expression of despair behind the mask, one she could not control...but then she was still alive. Forcing the neutral expression back onto her face, she felt shaky. There was no other way to describe it, just shaky. She listened to the man's words, wondering how Yuri Dragovich had come to this.
"Da. Eet ees true that thees..thees monster ees what you are."
She said, not trying to disagree with the nun man's words. The Russian had accepted what Kraven was, but she still struggled to understand how he had come to this. She had previously thought it was because of the Killer Gene, but if he insisted that it wasn't..
"But eet was not...always like thees."
Inna took a cautious step forward, then placed herself in front of Kraven again, forcing him to look at her.
"What. Happened?"

Kraven seemed to be easily shaken by Inna's apparently quick agreement. Even she knew how much of a monster he was, regardless of what he ever did for her and what good he may do in his life Yuri Dragovich would always be a monster. Kraven's heart dropped as he felt nothing but disgust for what he was "No..." Kraven told Inna, slowly turning to her "I've always been a monster-" he told her, his spirit slowly rising. He wasn't a good guy, he would never be the knight in shining armor. But he didn't want to be the hero... heroes died in this world. They lived unfulfilled lives. Kraven just wanted to do good, he didn't care what others thought of his actions, he did what was right in his mind. If they saw him as a villain, very well, he'd be play the gaudy villain. He'll fix the world whilst horrifying it. Yuri simply shook his head to Inna as she asked what happened, he walked over to the door of a van and opened it for her "We can talk on the way out... let's go..."

Inna frowned as she heard Kraven affirm that he had always been a monster. What could she possibly do to remind him of when he had been different? Only then did it occur to her that maybe, just maybe, he hadn't been different. She was only a child back then, and as an adult she had learned about how easily memories could be manipulated, even unconsciously. The Russian seemed to reject this thought, burying it somewhere in her mind where she wouldn't have to think about the possibility.
Suddenly Kraven was turning and heading towards the van- maybe he had somehow been impacted by her words...or maybe he just forgot. It didn't matter, he was leaving the people inside alone. Following him, she nodded, climbing into the van while eying him somewhat suspiciously. She was having a hard time understanding how Kraven worked..
"O.K."
So they would talk.

Kraven seemed to just watch as Inna got in the van, which probably wasn't the best sign. Once she got in, Kraven slowly backed away from the car whilst looking at her "I'm sorry... but I have to do this-" he spoke in a shaken mutter before pressing down on some sort of device. Suddenly, a gas would go off within the van from a device he placed in there without her looking. It released some nerve gas to quickly knock her out. Meanwhile, the man was reloading his rifle, it was clear what his intentions were "Those people need to die... it's the only way I can ever get anything done..." he spoke in a solemn voice as he went up the elevator, likely to slaughter everyone upstairs.

Inna's suspicion seemed RO oay off- it really had been too good to be true. Luckily, she was a suspicious little fuck, so she had kept her foot stopping the door from closing , waiting for Kraven to get in before closing the door. As the man started backing away, she kicked the door open again, but the gas was still a thing. She could hear it coming from somewhere and tried holding her breath, but still inhaled some of it. She felt her nerve centers shutting down, her extremities going dumb, and forced her eyes to go crimson. Regardless of the numbness, she could go on now, sprinting after Kraven and attempting to yank the rifle away from him.
"Nyet! Thees ees not about you! Thees ees other people's lives!"
She cried, her voice somewhere between a growl and a scream.

So Kraven was apparently surprised by Inna's refusal to fall for his standard evil villain traps, that was strange, usually Ryder fell for those "You cannot win my child..." Yuri spoke in a dark voice, he purposely let go of the rifle as Inna yanked it from him. Instead, as the Russian pulled his weapon away, he threw a punch straight towards her face with his Killer Gene suddenly activated "You can't save these people..." he then threw a knee straight towards her gut. That wasn't the end either, the blonde just kept on throwing savage blows towards Inna "And you certainly can't save your father-" finally Kraven threw a headbutt towards Inna in an attempt to take her down "Not today. Not ever."

Inna expected some resistance as she tried to take away Kraven's weapon, so when she was met with direct attacks instead, she was thrown off guard, her head snapping back, allowing Kraven to deliver all of his other attacks. His Killer Gene was more powerful than hers, that was clear enough, and she was still under the effect of the gas, so it seemed like she would give in to the blows, pass out, anything..until her father was mentioned. She didn't remember what she had said to Kraven about her father, apart from that one time that she literally said she was his daughter and he just didn't believe her. Was he finally admitting that he remembered?
"What do you know about my father?"
She spat a glob of blood and some flesh from her inner cheek out, panting as she now put her hands up, rapidly blocking Yuri's blows, somehow keeping up with the man's savage attacks. As the headbutt came, she ducked, going back up a second later and attempting to get onto Kraven's back.
"Say eet!"
Inna was trying to get the same lock on Kraven's neck as she had tried to get on Giovanni.
