Fresh off their... well, eventful graduation-- the newest generation of the Vanguard leaves MSI`s main headquarters in shuttles back down to Earth. A few more modes of aggravating transportation later- and here they are, in the beautiful city of Miami!
Despite how aggravating the traveling may have been, your enthusiasm almost numbs it out- you can`t help but feel somewhat light in your chest, you`re simply ecstatic to begin your new life as a Magical Girl. Your future is written in the bright lights of the dazzling skyscrapers you can see up ahead, and you find yourself filled with expectations of what`s to come-- though whatever it may be, you`re sure you`ll be able to punch it in the face. It had been at least a day or two of shuttles, trains, limos, and other modes of transportation that finally brought the newest soldiers of The Vanguard to their present location-- directly in front of MSI`s headquarters in Miami, Florida.
"Aaaand here we are!" Xanthe chimed, pressing a princess-like hand against some sort of scanner against the wall of the entrance. The machine recognized her hand print-- and with that, large double doors opened in front of her and the team, leading them into the main floor.
There were two steps down into the lobby- and the building itself reaked of extravagance. Other intricately dressed Magical Girls ran around in a hurried effort to get where they needed to go-- many holding large stacks of paperwork, most likely damage lawsuits from other nearby teams. The scent of purified air would instantaneously smack the face of those who entered-- it was overall very pleasant. "This is one of twenty floors--" The witch began to explain, reaching into her cleavage to reveal a slip of paper which she scanned across quickly, nodding to herself in approval. "On the floor just about this one is the barracks-- you guys`ve been sorted into groups of two per room. Except... er, one group, since we`ve got an odd number... you`re welcome to customize these however you want, by the way-- seeing as how they`ll be your home for quite some time. Just... don`t destroy them, I suppose..." She offered the paper to whomever was the closest-- and on it read the roommates:

"You`ll be alerted by the rings I gave out earlier on the shuttle if you`re needed for anything-- things of the magical girl sort, that is. Oh-- and speaking of things of the magical girl sort! Seeing as how you guys... well, sort of destroyed the space station a bit trying to get rid of one monster... not saying it was any of you, per say-- but, it did happen-- I wanted to let you know it is a-okay to destroy things! We just so happen to have a very sturdy legal branch here at MSI, and they`re more than capable of dealing with any property lawsuits you may be charged with! Essentially, we can weasel our way out of pretty much any mess. I`d like to introduce you to the head of it, actually-- but, first, are there any questions about the base itself...?" Xanthe always seemed to be rushing herself, speaking quickly and concisely-- as if she`d been trained to expect a threat to emerge at any possible moment, and if their guard was down talking about roommates and lawsuits... the result probably wouldn`t be pretty. She looked at the group expectantly, gauging their reactions with her eyebrows raised and her hands settled on her lap.

Strawberry was anxious as she walked with the others to where the main building was. Remembering the fight they had against the xenogoblin was a tough battle, but she was glad that they were victorious at the end. She giggled to herself to try and calm down as she took a peek of what was inside the lobby. The air took a quick second for her to adjust as the fragrance and aromas was pleasant to her as she couldn't help but form a smile from it. Her face started to blush however when she saw that Xanthe took out a slip of paper from her cleavage. Were those breasts even real!? She never seen breasts that huge before! Well she didn't remember seeing any big ones back where she lived. As the witch offered it for someone to read, Strawberry took no time as she dashed off and grabbed the slip of paper.
Before she could start reading it off however, she listened to what Xanthe had to say as her eyes grew big. They were going to meet the person that was in charge of this place!? Strawberry couldn't believe it as she was hopping in her place as her grin came wider. When the witch asked if anyone had any questions before they went over there, the pink hair girl raised her hand. "Yes I do have a question! Um is it alright that I can read the names on here before we go? If that's alright with you, I'll go ahead." Strawberry cleared her throat as she read out the list of groups. When she got to the last one, she smiled as she waved the paper in the air. "Violet! Violet Letter! You're going to be roommates with me!" Strawberry ran over to where Violet was as she glomped her, excited that she was finally going to make her mother proud and hopefully make friends at the same time!

Alison was thoroughly impressed in every way imaginable "Meh..." just kidding she didn't give one shit. She instead just looked to a tiny book she was holding... reading it whilst half listening to whatever Xanthe had to say. Alison was disappointed that she didn't have Elspeth as her roommate, she was hoping she would have somebody that understood that she in no way wanted to be friends with anyone. She wanted to be alone, she would talk to her teammates if she needed something of them, but otherwise she wanted a solitary life. The very fact that they had roommates seemed to sully her mood. Alison rose an eyebrow to Xanthe when she asked if any of them had any questions "Yes..." she spoke bluntly, making eye contact with the witch "If any of us wish to get into direct contact with you... what do we do?" she asked this question mainly because Xanthe still promised her the information she was looking for. That was the only reason she was in MSI, she needed that information on the Whispering Man. Alison had held her part of the bargain, so she expected Xanthe to do her part.

As they entered the admittedly very nice base, Adrian looked around, noticing a difference in even the air itself. It seemed MSI had gone to quite the effort to make the base as extravagant as possible. Back home her fathers favored soldiers tended to receive similar treatment, so she supposed she wasn't too surprised. Adrian turned her attention back to Xanthe, reading the list the woman had just pulled from her chest.
She managed to stop herself from frowning as her roommates were announced. Adrian assumed at this point she could managing sharing a room with someone. She doubted she'd be spending enough time in her room for that to be much of a problem and as long as none of the other girls had an aura as stark as Elspeths she could adapt to their presence quickly enough. Still Adrian was surprised to see she'd been placed in a group. Rooming with two girls was going to be....different than rooming with just one. She turned her attention back to the senior witch, not truly sure how to feel, eyeing the woman curiously as she talk of lawsuits produced very little reaction.
It was good to know they had measures in place should anything resembling a lawsuit come up, but Adrian wasn't planning on causing unneeded damage if she could help it. She certainly hoped the others were as well. Though how much she could help it was still a matter she'd have to deal with.

Elspeth was in wonder, standing next to Alison as she looked around the building. So...this was what it was like...wasn't it? She was pretty impressed. Such a building like this was pretty...well, to be blunt, it was pretty fucking cool. But she would keep the vulgor language to herself. She heard about the barracks.
"Oh, do we get to pi-"
Nope. It was announced. And she wasn't with Alison. She was with the Amazonian Princess of Justice. That didn't seem too bad, she was always welcome to making friends. She seemed nice...or at least she hoped she was. She remembered her, and glanced over, giving a smile, before returning her focus to Xanthe. "I do have a queery if you don't mind. Will you be telling us about the further amenities this place holds? For example, if we wish to hone our skills, where we get our meals, if we have some free time. And are we going to be attending a school while we are here?"That was a lot more then Elspeth wanted to ask, but she was curious about it all.

Off to a great start, Pia tripped on the steps going into the lobby. Grumbling to herself, she looked around the lobby once she caught herself and pretended that nothing had happened. She wasn't paying complete attention to Xanthe's words, being more focused on taking in the building and the city that she could see outside its windows. Coming from a small Irish town, all of this fanciness was almost overwhelming. The whole time she just sort of played around with the ring they had been given, before actually catching the thing that Xanthe said about them being used to communicate with them. That was probably important. What she HADN'T realized was that she would be in the room of three...probably something she would actually care about, had she been paying attention.

Ai had been taking in all of the sights around her with great interest, an excited grin on her face. She had never even been to America before, let alone Miami! She was practically vibrating with how much she was bouncing up and down in excitement, even on their way into the HQ building. The sheer size of the building was amazing, and Ai was sure that she was going to explore every nook and cranny of this building in her free time. As she was informed about the roommates, she quickly scanned the list for her name, then bounced over to Holly happily, standing next to her and smiling.
"You're 'The White Witch of the Void', right? If so, then we're roommates! I'm Ai! It's nice to meet you!" She didn't feel that she had any questions for Xanthe at the moment--she was just excited to be there!

Sadie walked through the double doors and looked around in awe everything was so pretty and sparkly she just couldn't help but smile it was like being in a fairytale. When Xanthe began to speak she took her dolls arm used it to give a salute to the dolls head, then began to listen to every word that she spoke but her mind trailed off as she saw something spikily in the distance when Xanthe started talking about lawsuits. She stared off into the distance at the sparkly thing for a good while zoning out that was until she got glommed by a pink haired girl probably no older then she was, that brought her attention back to the real world, she smiled and looked at the girl that now was on her "Hi I'm Sadie....whats happening?"

Holly was happy to be here, and admired the setting they were placed in. She had never been in Florida before, and seeing everything being so bright and lovely made Holly feel... Good? She wasn't exactly sure, but despite knowing the job ahead of them the scenes calmed her down a bit. "Wow... Thiz iz Miami..." She said listening partially to Xanthe. When it came to rooming arrangements Holly wasn't sure what she would do if she didn't get along with said roommate. Holy was usually good with words, but what if they were very hostile? What if... She went through her stuff? "AH!" Holly was trapped in her thoughts that she didn't look at the names on the board, and when Ai spoke to her she jumped. "Oh... Oh merci! Yez... I am. Ah... It took nearly no time at all for Kat to discover she had no taste for mass transportation. It seemed that no matter how they traveled, there was some sort of pollution occurring, and it made her nose wrinkle in distaste. She tried not to show just how annoyed and disgusted she was, though, not wanting to be question by the others. She kept quiet until they finally reached Miami, eyes widening slightly as she saw the city. That looked so horrid... She closed her eyes to keep from watching it, grimacing at the air that filled her lungs as she stepped onto the streets. Disgusting. Even if the pollution was lower here than other places, any city had the reek of unclean air, and she could hardly stand it. She was grateful as they stepped into the base and the wave of clean air hit her, breathing deeply and beginning to relax. She listened to Xanthe as she spoke, then stared at the list she pulled out. She didn't push forward to look, letting the others do that until the list was read. Alison... Slowly, she turned to find her in their group, examining her. She wasn't fond of the idea of roommates- she didn't want to deal with people. Yet Alison at least seemed likely to leave her be mostly... She nodded slightly to the other, mutely sidestepping somewhat closer in case the other wished to speak to her but not otherwise approaching her. Any details they wanted to work out could be done in their room, certainly... She instead listened as Xanthe spoke of the legal team there, glad to hear their asses were covered if they slipped up somewhere. As Xanthe asked if anyone had questions, she at first didn't move to say anything- but after a few other questions, her eyes lit up and she stood a little straighter. She waited until the others spoke to ask her question, trying not to sound too harsh about it. "How green is this base...? Environmentally and such?" she asked, voice firm. She wanted to know just how environmentally friendly the place in which she'd be living was.

Strawberry smiled back at the girl as she looked up at her and responded, "Hi Sadie! I'm Strawberry and you and me are roommates!" The pink hair girl couldn't help it and give Sadie another hug of excitement. This was going to be great! When she finished her hug, she noticed that Sadie was holding onto something. She didn't know what it was, but it was cute as Strawberry's eyes sparkled as she saw it. "Omg!" She got up and pointed at the doll that Sadie had. "What is that!? It's so cute!"

Well, she hadn`t been expecting actual questions-- Xanthe seemed somewhat overwhelmed for a moment, actually, but stopped to answer Strawberry first. "Ah, yes, that`s--" Except she went ahead and did the thing anyway... which was okay! She moved on to Alison next, pausing and seeming to droop some at the whitette`s question. She met the younger girl`s gaze with one much more understanding and meaningful as she replied, "Your ring has my contact number inside it-- I ask that you only personally request me if it`s absolutely urgent. In truth, the rings Xanthe had given all of the girls earlier functioned solely as communication devices within the company-- and operated through telepathy, reading the user`s thoughts to dial any number within the organization, so long as the caller is able to picture their face and name. One could hear a particular sound in the distance... the sound of little plastic wheels moving at breakneck speed. A nearby door opened up, and out he came. He was Marco Valenzuela, the infamous South Beach Saint himself, speeding right towards the team and a little office chair. He seemed to be quite in control of it, perhaps one could even call him the master of office-chair riding... until the chair tripped over off the bottom frame of a door. Marco flew off the chair, crashing down in front of Xanthe "Present, ma'am!" Marco spoke energetically. The man then jumped back on his feet, turning to The Vanguard. "Helloooo laaaadiiiieeeess~!" he spoke in a dark, sexy voice. The buttons on Marco's shirt seemed to be unbuttoning themselves, revealing Marco's godlike chilled body. He winked to the girls as he then introduced himself, his body practically sparkling "Marco Valenzuela! I'm your lawyer... I- uh- I'm gonna be representing you all in court." he told them with a smile, his teeth glowing white like a movie star's. "Is it me or is it hot in here...? Sadie dusted herself off and walked towards Xanthe who was introducing them to someone who had to deal with legal matters in Sadie's mind a sharp dressed man in a suit with glasses was what she was picturing coming to greet them instead an attractive well toned partially dressed man addressed them and she began to blush to the point her ears were even bright red. I could eat that for dessert mmmm the things I could do to that body the voice of her alter ego rang out in her head, only making her an even deeper shade of red. "Sadie pleased to meet you" She squeaked out the few words she could and then buried her face in her doll hoping that he couldn't see her if she couldn't see him.

Adrian analyzed her ring for a moment as Xanthe spoke. It was a fascinating way of keeping in touch with them. She suspected they just as likely served as a means of keeping track of them, but as long as they serve as a hindrance she could make use of it. Adrian hoped she did well enough to not require use of the ring often, but it would still be useful to have. She looked up as Xanthe announced they'd be meeting the person in charge of ensuring they didn't end up at the mercy of a law suit. This should be interesting.
Adrian raised her eyebrow as she suddenly heard the sound of plastic wheels on the move. She looked at Marco, now forced out of his chair mostly calmly. Though admittedly she would have like to hear how he'd made it that far in a desk chair.
She did find herself smiling as his shirt seemed to be unbuttoning itself. Now the man was reminding her very much of the succubus back home. They'd often enchant their clothes to do just this. She nodded at the now mostly shirtless man, not having much of a reaction to his state otherwise.

Strawberry was ready for who their legal adviser would be. She imagined that the man would probably be a big guy who was tough and take nothing for answers and probably trained hard as well. She nodded as that's how she imagined how Marco would look like. What happened was what she didn't expect as she saw the man coming in a chair before crashing and flying over to where Xanthe was. It looked really lame to her that even with the sexy voice and unbuttoning of shirt, she couldn't get over how lame that was. She continued to stare in utter disgust before finally saying something. "So this guy is our legal person? Like does he even train or fight though?" Strawberry shook her head though as she remembered that her mother told her to always be nice to people as she formed a smile and walked over to where Marco was. "Hiya Marco! I am Strawberry Bar! Nice to meet you! I hope though that we don't do alot of damage though since court systems is problematic and such!" She gave him a wave as she waited for their next orders.

"Holly!" Ai repeated the girl's name in order to store it in her memory banks, then smiled at her, shaking her hand enthusiastically. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too! I'm very excited about being roommates--I've never had a roommate before! I mean--Makoto might count as a roommate, but he's also kind of like my father, too, so he doesn't exactly count, I don't think? Either way!"
She was about to say more--but then Marco entered. And although he was quite attractive and sparkly and what most teenage girls would call "dreamy"--Ai was far more interested in his office chair, which she immediately trotted over to, picking it up then grinning. "I would like to try riding on this chair!" Then she remembered that they were kind of supposed to be meeting someone, so she sat down in the office chair, pushing it back over so that she was now sitting in the chair, but back next to the other girls. She smiled at Marco and called to him, "It's very nice to meet you, Mr. Valenzuela! My name is Ai Sakura, and we'll be working together from this day forward!"

Kat wasn't exactly the happiest with Xanthe's answer but she let it slide, sighing a little and instead focusing on the fact that their 'legal adviser' was on his way. This should be great. She wondered idly if he knew the environmental impact the base made on Earth- but the instant Marco came crashing into the room, she stopped taking him seriously and assumed he wouldn't know the answer. How did MSI avoid lawsuits with this man? She really didn't understand. She rolled her eyes as he introduced himself, shaking her head a little for his blatant showing off and 'sexy' voice.
"Does all of the staff blatantly strip in front of underage teenage girls and assume they're going to enjoy it?" she asked blandly, shooting a clearly unamused look to Marco as she spoke. It was... really more of an insult than a question, yet she still looked to Xanthe after the look to Marco, almost a little afraid she would answer and that she would say yes.
"Oh. And it's not really that hot in here. I think you might be coming down with a fever- should probably get that checked out." she added, shooting a withering smirk at Marco as she said it.

Historia had been tagging along with the group since they left the station, mostly keeping to herself aside from the occasional conversation with Ai. She was still pretty awkward with things that weren`t fighting... but Ai erased her insecurities with ease, and was probably the only person she felt fully comfortable talking to. Which made the roommate situation sort of upsetting-- she did return Elspeth`s smile, though. She seemed nice enough...
As she was still working on processing that, Marco happened. And as everyone else gave their abashed greetings or snark in response to his presence-- Historia stared with wide eyes from the back of the group... before hurrying forward, gently pushing anyone else aside and getting... weirdly close to the lawyer. She didn`t say much, simply stared down at him-- before plucking him up by his shoulders and inspecting him mid air.
"...Hm..." This was, after all-- the first male she had ever seen. That is, if Bird didn`t count. But, he seemed fairly similar to the women where she was from... he was tall, and built with muscle... the lack of breasts was a bit distracting-- but aside from that, he was pretty standard...
Ignoring everything else around her, she sort of just kept inspecting Marco very, very closely- she really needed to know why these man things were so important in this culture...

She took the time to respond to the pinkette first, speaking quietly as not to embarrass her in front of the other girls, "Actually... he`s-- er-- he`s only head of the legal department...? He`s our best lawyer... the leader here is actually me...?" She wasn`t sure why she didn`t know that... seeing as how Xanthe was practically the face of the company, and-- oh hey flying Marco.
"Heyyo Marco!" She greeted chipperly, gauging the girl`s reactions to him with a knowing smile. Not only was Marco the most talented lawyer in Brickell, if not the world as a whole-- his natural charm tended to get the girls on his side rather quickly. Charisma was half the battle- especially in court! As introductions were pushed out of the way, she took more time to address Strawberry, "I mean, he`s-- a lawyer? So, training isn`t really a necessity for him-- you girls are the ones here to fight for us, silly! He could be a battle lawyer, I suppose-- but, that trend died down quite a while ago..." She trailed off into a hum, briefly wondering if she should be concerned about the amazon grabbing up their lawyer... but, she decided to let it pass for now. "I figure that after this I could take you all on a tour before bringing you up to your rooms-- sound good?"

Marco kept up the smiling, not so much as mentioning his ever more stripperific shirt. Most of them seemed pretty friendly, Marco looked to Adrian and Sadie "Nice to meet you all too. Try not to break too much when you're out on missions, as I've always said: every million dollars worth of damages is a night's worth of paperwork~!" he told them in an awkward effort to tell a joke. He didn't seem to notice Sadie's embarrassment, nor did he notice anything wrong from Elspeth when held out her hand. He merely smiled to her and shook her hand, though he had a surprisingly soft grip "Nice to meetcha~ Elspeth huh? So you're the one who died~?" he asked quite candidly, he had seen weirder out there. At this point the guy's shirt had magically fallen off revealing more of his chiseled body. Ironically, his body was littered with scars of some sort, though oddly enough this didn't detract from the pleasantness of his body at all. He pretty much ignored Strawberry when she spoke, instead standing appalled as Ai got anywhere near his chair "AYE! NOT COOL!" he called out to the girl "That chair is like my ONLY belonging-!" he told her, his voice still somehow sounding dark and sensual. Marco frowned, raising an eyebrow to the girl as he was about to speak more, but then Kat spoke. Marco turned to the woman, giving her an awkward smile "I honestly don't know what you're talking about..." he told her, he was used to accusations like this. "It happens on its own- honest!" and then a button on his pants suddenly shot off, hitting Kat directly in the forehead. It seemed the pants were starting now too, Marco looked down to his trousers in confusion, but before he could really say or do anything in response there was Historia picking him up "W-WOAH! What the-!? I-! Oh hello there miss-~" initially he was shocked, but he seemed to calm down quite quickly. He just gave Historia a smile and hoped she wouldn't kill him at this point, since she honestly looked pretty terrifying. It showed in his smile, it was incredibly nervous. Marco began to sweat (Which made his body glisten fabulously) in fear before hoping Xanthe would help out "M-ma'am... do you think you could... do the thing...?" he asked... hoping she could be let him go in the near future.

Alison was busy reading a book, she could care less about what the others and Xanthe had to say. When she was needed for something big, she woudl be there, otherwise she was going to keep her distance from everyone else. She even considered finding living quarters outside the base, if she could pull if off. She wanted to keep this team shindig strictly business. When Marco entered the picture, Alison only rose her eyes from the book for a single moment because of the loud noise he had made by falling, afterwards she was back to her book.
