Rowan grinned a little as Mikhail recognized her, gently patting his cheek before leaning against the balcony railing comfortably. Most would be afraid of falling- she however, seemed to have no qualms whatsoever. "I'm glad you recognized me- I was a little afraid the different hair style and the dress would throw you off~" She smiled gently at him a moment more before glancing over her shoulder at the sky. "... I'm surprised you need to ask, though... Big party of the royals? This is the perfect place for someone like me to do my work..." She seemed rather nonchalant about the whole topic- even though she was planning on robbing these prissy nobles blind. "Plus, I heard a rumor you were in town and I wanted to see if it was true~ Can't say I'm disappointed... Though I wish you weren't so upset..." She smiled gently at him again before looking down at her feet, shrugging slightly. She wasn't as comfortable as usual- the dress and fanciness of their surroundings made sure of that.

Alavender smirked as he saw everything coming together nicely even though the brat had messed things up with his mercenary crew, just a minor set back of course he got into his role that he had been playing for years the caring uncle then he strode up to Beatrice and put his hand on her shoulder,because he had known her family for many years and had been around all her life he had a heavy effect of a uncle like figure on her she even knew his daughter of course that was all for appearances but still this plan had been years in the making and it would not fail like his plan to have his female child be the guard of Beatrice. as his hand rested on the shoulder of the princess he softly said " Your highness as a member of your council I must ask you refrain from letting your temper loose you do know that your appearance is important and you so not want to flood the ball, as for the heiress and her new partner" he made sure to spit this distastefully so his acting front was kept " you should not play any part in this ,although the Honarian princess still holds her title when she fled leaving her seat open and a country in shambles, by royal law the next in line is required to step in, you have read this in the books of royal teachings ,and for this young prince being here" he whispered this last part to her "remember his father has many troops and a short temper and if you intervene or offend even for the sake of your friend this could end in war think of your status and your people who you protect" all of the things he said where things she had herself learned in her policy classes and such. after his talk with Beatrice he looked up introduced himself as councilman Frost and whisked Beatrice away to greet some of her other gusts.

Kaden watched as everything began not speaking or doing much his job right now was to be a pawn when he saw that the mercenaries never shoed up he began to realize that his father was going to be mad at someone and it would be him. the other guard was a child he had no idea of what type of skill if any she possessed but she seemed easy enough to take out when the time came he had just been mixing small doses of sleeping agent into her drinks (juice mostly) for some time now they would take hours to take hold but still he kept watch to make sure she was drinking them and she was to draw away suspicion he would be the one to get the drinks when either of the princesses asked silently and efficiently but always remembering to get some for himself and the girl as well. he scanned the room for people that would hinder the plans he had been given pieces of information from his father about the people form earlier that had helped the Honarian princess when he scanned the room he found that he could see a few of them which caused him slight irritation but nothing else. when his father came up and made a move to disperse the situation he made sure to nod and carry on his work he was waiting, waiting for the ball to be in motion more then it already was.

Tatania felt her mind bubbling with rage. She wanted... Desperately wanted to make this man suffer. She looked around and then at the Bracelet. She took hold of the hand and looked at the Bracelet closely. This... Was an original. She dropped the hand and looked at the others. "Fine... I'll leave it alone for now." She shook as Christina took her by the hand. "Come on... Forget her right now. We know what's right okay?" Christina whispered the last part as Tatania was lead away to be merry and whatnot. But Tatania didn't feel merry. Tatania felt angry, and sad. This war was not her fault! And that little creepy shiny made it sound like it was!

Christina wasn't all that sure what to do with Tatania. They had to keep in mind that between Veloci and Honeria things were difficult and delicate. She lead the princess over to Desdemona. "Let's be with people we know well okay?" Christina said as she looked over to Dez. "Hi Dez... Um... Nice party right?" Christina asked as Tatania silently asked for a drink. She... Needed to get her mind off of this but it was difficult. There was lying afoot here! No doubt about it.

"Well now that's all taken care of!" Said Mr. White in a booming voice. "Then let us start the dancing!" he said and there was chatter that it sounded like a good idea. Who wouldn't want to dance and have a little more wine. Though people wondered where Mr. White came from he was obviously a noble and no one questioned him. As Mr. White walked gracefully across the floor. He looked for a dance partner. Anyone really. He saw River punching a table and thought, 'That'll do.' and walked over to her, a charming air around him. "My dear lady... Why the scowl? It is not suited for one such as you." he said in a gentle, and low voice. "Please allow me to Introduce myself. I am Mr. White, and would you do me the hour of a dance? Just one or two."

Desdemona's eyes followed Alavander for several moments as he walked away with Naala's princess. She didn't like his aura either. His familiarity did make her wonder what his position was. Perhaps he was Veloci's hold in the palace.
Desdemona looked away before the man could notice her and looked at Christina and Tatania.
Hello, Chris, Your Highness. The party is quite lovely. The princess spared no expense.
She smiled at the two. Both were in need of a distraction at the moment. Desdemona couldn't blame them, so she didn't mention the undesired appearance of the prince and new heiress, though they were still very much on her mind. This ball had all of the makings of a massacre.
When she was assured Tatania was safe, Desdemona held a hand out to Christina,

Christina nodded silently. "Yeah it is. Beatrice knows how to run a party." Christina said as Tatania stared at her new drink in hand. She was grumbling to herself, a seemingly dark aura was around her. "A dance? Me? Oh no! I c-c-c-c-couldn't I'm uh... Just a body guard... Yeah--oof!"

"Dance with her Vorpal..." Tatania said as she drank her wine. "I need to... What was that again? Hang around with Beatrice?" Tatania said using some slang before she went to do just that. "O-oh... Okay! Um... Looks like... Dancing?" Christina said as she looked unsure.

"Very good then!" Said Mr. White as he took River by the hand and lead her to the dance floor. It was slow at first, and Mr. White was quite graceful. "Calm yourself... The night is just beginning... By the way what's your name?" he asked as he twirled her.

Desdemona smiled as Christina's usual levels of awkwardness went up tenfold. She chuckled a little. She'd never thought she'd find awkwardness amusing but somehow Chris had managed this. Before she could say anything Tatania spoke, she smiled at the girl as she left.
Take care of yourself, your highness. You want to be on your best form tonight.
She chuckled a little at the small princess before turning back to Christina and saying teasingly.
Well, Ms. Vorpel, I don't think you are one to defy orders, so I believe now you have to dance with me.
She grabbed the girl's hand and pulled her onto the dance floor, still smiling.

Kaden watched the other guard got pulled into a dance he sat by the wall and watched people dance thinking of his sister hoping she was doing well. he pulled out a locket that had belonged to his mother it held a family photo of his siblings and him smiling and happy he looked at it and smiled for a second then quickly put it back around his neck looking around to see that no one saw him as he did so, after he had had his moment he began to watch the crowd again and wait for his cue until then he watched the princess

Mikhail paused for a moment, looking at Rowan in surprise, before speaking,
"P-People were talking about me being here...? They weren't saying anything bad, I hope..." He sighed, then turned slightly, looking through the glass panes in the doors that led back inside, seeing that the dancing had started--and he recognized plenty of people out on the floor. Even River--dancing with a stranger, no less. Hadn't she been totally awkward about five minutes ago? Even she was better at this than he was...
He turned around, putting his elbows back onto the balcony railing again.
"...Sorry that you had to catch me at a time like this. I just...I can't stand the atmosphere in there. Being in the public eye is...well...terrifying...one little wrong move, and suddenly, everyone's all over you about it...I wish that I was more confident, like you...I tried to talk to some of the other nobles, and they completely ignored me...they wouldn't even look at me...as if I wasn't even there...I could've been some sort of horrific alien creature with ten heads, and they probably still wouldn't have so much as batted an eyelash." He sighed again, looking down at the ground from where he stood on the balcony. "And now, everyone's in there, just dancing the night away...my mother used to always tell me how much fun public events could be, but honestly, so far all I've done was almost throw up..."

As the dancing started, Blaze took a moment to jog over to the edge of the stage, going down on one knee to whisper to Celeste, who was still standing on the floor,
"I don't like this one bit. Not that there's anything that we can do about it now...just got to grin and bare it, I guess...man, this is gonna suck...Either way--stay close, okay? I don't know what's gonna happen--so don't go wandering off. Don't want us getting separated if a fight starts and we need to make a hasty exit." After he'd conveyed his message to Celeste, Blaze headed back to the center of his stage, making sure that all of his props were in position, before taking a deep breath, murmuring to himself, "Alright. Show time." After he'd composed himself, he walked to one of the little pots he had at the back of the stage, picking up some colored powder in each hand. He walked back to the center of the stage, charging up the powder with his fire magic, before tossing it into the air, generating a bunch of miniature fireworks that flared up over the stage in a splendid display. "Alright!" he grinned out at the people who's attention he'd caught. "Who's ready for some serious entertainment?!" He could do this, he told himself--he just had to go through the normal act, adding in the little flares that he'd decided on earlier. Everything would be fine...he hoped.

Edvard held his tongue when Xavier explained what had happened in the Honerian courts... but he almost bit it off when he saw that stone... It was REAL?! How did he... OH! NO!... Edvard was extremely furious... His forefathers had buried most of the Old Honerian Courtlings including most of the royal family... You didn't mess with the Dead in front of a Baskerville and live through the night... He kept himself composed but his eyes were a storm of fury... He looked over to Tatania who looked on the verge of killing something but was holding her feelings deep insider her... My Lord Xavier... Might I speak with you?... Unless you'd rather dance with your new Ally, which I'd more than understand I'm sure you'd like to seal your alliance as quickly as possible... How else could you attain power over Honeria...Edvard said everything in an arrogant and presumptuous tone... Trying to bait Xavier.

Xavier raised an eyebrow at the commoner... but by that bait he just tried was smart it put pressure on Xavier to act or comment... hmm... it was a very good bait, Xavier shot him a look of contempt but ignored him until that last statement... "This Inbred Little Shit Thinks He Can Play The Game, Well I'll Show Him" he then looked at Arcadia then to Tatania, back to Edvard then back to Arcadia... I would love to Lady Arcadia... He took Arcadia's hand and lead her to the dance floor, leading her in a very ellegant dance amongst the crowd.

Edvard watched... Just as he thought, Arcadia was totally illegitimate... Xavier's glance at Tatania made that more than obvious... He was using her to get to Tatania, what was he planning, this was some ploy to get Honeria's power no doubt but how... Edvard walked over to Tatania and put a hand on her shoulder as he beckoned to Fredrick who untied himself from Desdemona's wrist then floated over... They looked at her with smiles... Edvard sat down next her and ordered some extra wine... He whispered to Tatania... If you want to do something about those two... Start laughing then play along... Fredrick float as inconspicuously as possible...
Yes, M'lord Edvard!... Edvard took some of the wine and began sipping... He spoke normally now... But phrased what he said like it was the end of some hilarious story...
And we never told him!... The poor bloke probably still thinks the goat ate his Hat! HAHAHA!

Rowan smiled gently at the mild-mannered man, shaking her head slowly. "Nothing bad, nothing bad at all. If someone said something bad I'd kick them where it hurts~ Or send an arrow that way. Either or~" She too turned to glance inside as Mikhail did, then she frowned some as he started speaking. "... My confidence comes from knowing I never was and never will be anyone the public cares about, Mikhail. Sure, people know who I am- but I have no effect upon nobility. The kind of attention I receive is nothing you deserve..." she replied, smiling gently- before glancing into the room where everyone was dancing again. The sound of the music was drifting out to them even through the closed doors, and though it was quieter, it was still crystal clear. "... Shall we?~" Grinning teasingly, she stepped away from the rail and offered him a hand, rather obviously asking him to dance with her. "Nobody will see us- and perhaps if you stop thinking so much, that awful nausea will fade, hm?"

"W-well..." Christina said as she looked around and took Dez by the hand. "Maybe one? I just... I have to take care of Tatania, and stuff... But dancing is okay for a little while... Right?" Christina said as she went into dancing position.

Meanwhile Tatania walked over to the wine and began to take a glass. She sputtered when she was told to play along. "Play... Along? Genius!" she said in a sarcastic tone. She felt sick... She felt tired... Her pride couldn't take this, it hurt too much. "Edvard... I can't do this..." Tatania said as she held her face in her hands.

"Rivera... What a lovely name." said Mr White as the song was coming close to it's end. "Me? Oh... I'm Mr. White..." He said as he continues his dancing with River.

Desdemona held onto Christina's hand and took her position. Beginning what was actually a very graceful dance. Desdemona luckily had enough experience in dancing to lead very well when needed to.

Celeste sort of just scanned over the crowd when people started dancing, not really sure what was going on. She never was privy to politics- this made no change in that. She knew who the royals were though- and this new 'heiress' of Honeria was definitely not a royal. She could tell that from her place off to the side of the area. She did listen to Blaze though, nodding to show she understood his instructions. It wasn't as if she had anywhere to go- she'd promised to stick close in case something happened with his show. As if to prove this point, she moved to sit on the ground against a corner of the stage, her legs crossed neatly in front of her. She was out of the way, at least hopefully, and yet close enough that she could keep an eye on anyone that moved too near the flames. Blaze's fireworks earned a smile from her before she set about scanning the crowd again, trying her hardest not to seem terribly out of place. "And let the show begin..."

Edvard felt so bad for Tatania, he knew what it was like for your peers, especially when it came to in your job, to reject you... He scooted his chair closer to Tatania's and hugged her tightly... Come here... I'm sorry Princess... It's alright... Listen to me Lady Tatania, there's something you need to know... After I moved to Sparrow to start a double business as a Toy Making Mortician I ran into some trouble... I was a social outcast to nearly everyone just because of what I loved to do; I made people happy while they forgot their sorrows... Edvard's expression darkened slightly the fury in his eyes from Xavier was gone and deep memories of sadness were left behind... Eventually A local gang came and raided, not for the money but just so they could haze me... they burned all of my toys and set fire to the morgue, then painted horrible words all over the outside of my home, I had lost everything and I gave up... I couldn't handle it... I gave up on living... I just couldn't I sank into depression and went so deep into darkness I had to split a piece of myself off into a friend I thought for a time didn't even exist... Fredrick floated behind Edvard and waved with a smile very cutely... Edvard's tone changed from sad to proud and somewhat inspirational... Prin... No... Tatania, I have spent so little time with you yet you have shown me more courage and power and leadership than I have seen in any person in my entire life... You are stronger than this... I know it! You inspire me Tatania!... Edvard hugged her tightly again... It took a lot to force himself out of formality... after all of that He didn't notice it but a tear had welled in his eye.

Xavier looked at Arcadia with a scheming smile... You did wonderfully my dear... Still talking down to her like some kind of child but speaking low enough others on the dance floor wouldn't hear them... He looked over to Mr. White and River and almost chuckled now that was a funny sight... He looked over to Avalander with Beatrice and they caught eye contact, Xavier's eyes gleamed with a kind of signal saying keep up the good work, that was unnoticeable except to Avalander... That balloon man was talking with Tatania; Xavier felt a massive stab of jealousy and contempt for the man... he would have to end his life later if it wasn't here he'd have to find him later and do it personally, he was stirring up too much, and all of his agents said he had interfered in each attack against Tatania... Ah good Avalander's boy was already on top of it; what a good pawn... Hmm... where was that woman Seras told him to watch out for? Didn't Zang Tag her? He thought he saw her dancing with Tatania's bodyguard but couldn't be sure... She didn't exactly look like what Seras showed her... He wondered if that formula Seras was always spouting off about was really worth it... She usually knew a good tool from a bad one and she seemed fervent over this one.

Friend that I met..." Tatania hardly used the term but it felt appropriate. "Oh Beatrice... You know it's not true right?"

"I tend to give that impression on people. I'm sure I just remind you of a dapper, cheerful chap!" Mr. White said in an elegant voice as he stared up at the ceiling dreamily before River tripped, he had a bit of a flash of annoyance but it disappeared. "Enough about me though~ What about you? She smiled at the girls reaction. She wasn't quite used to someone being concerned for her the way Chris was right now. Edvard knew her capabilities and treated her as thus. Her father had always told her to work through whatever trouble she may face, in hope of whatever she went through would making her more opening to a new discovery in the pursuit of knowledge. She chuckled softly and placed her hand reassuringly on the knight cheek for a moment,
