Stryker sat there for a moment, a thoughtful look on his face as he pondered over the issue of the purple-clad man. The whole teleporting thing was definitely a problem...
"We're going to have to try to work around the teleporting, I guess...I feel like if we captured him, he'd just teleport away again...maybe we could wait until he was asleep, then grab the princess?"

Shaiel stood up and looked down at Aingel well we'll start training as soon as I get these log heads to bed... She peeked her head out the tent flap... Boys get to bed and get some sleep we're moving in the morning... Come On! She pulled her head back in. OK little sapling let's... She froze as Karden stirred in bed making a nonverbal disagreement with her bed then turning over, Shaiel came over to Karden and pulled a blanket around her. She'll be alright a good night's rest and everything will be fine... Vesta take good care of this one... Now to your training missy you're coming with me... She grabbed Aingel's wrist and took her out in the woods behind the tents... as she passed she exclaimed to the men outside. Oh also we have a new recruit right here.

"Aw--but we're talking strategy--can we have five more minutes--?" Stryker called to Shaiel in hopes of not having to go to bed yet--But, the motherly woman was already heading back into the tent, so there was no hope in that. They'd just have to deal with it for now, and head to bed. It had been a bit of a long, hard day--okay, a lot of a long, hard day. Stryker stood, stretching, then looked to Jorgen. "Which one of us should be on guard first...?" Then, suddenly, he heard the news of a new team member. He raised his eyebrows, looking over at Shaiel and Aingeal, then calling, "Oh, really--? Welcome, then! Sorry that I kind of almost impaled you all with icicles--! It won't happen again, I promise--!"

Aingeal looked up in surprise. Shaiel's energy was very surprising to Aingeal. She had accepted that the mercenaries were good people but the woman's motherly nature still was odd to her, in a good way but it would still take time to get used to.
They both looked over at Kady to make sure they didn't wake the girl up. Aingeal looked over at the girl and remembered her promise to take care of her. She would! That was for certain. She didn't think it would do much but Aingeal muttered the same few words, sending some of her energy over to Kady. Hopefully it would help Kady's energy come back even if it was only by a little bit. She looked back over at Shaiel.
I trust you all to take care of her, especially with all I've heard about this Vesta. She must be an exceptional healer!... Oh alright! Let's go.
Before leaving, Aingeal left she looked over at Vesta, who smiled at her and nodded before falling asleep next to Kady's cot. She seemed determined to be ready to help the girl the moment the need arose. Before Aingeal had long to dwell on this Shaiel was dragging her towards the forest and announcing her as a new recruit. She knew recruitment was what training with people technically was but she still didn't want to have to hurt the princess. She still really wanted to train though and this was likely one of the best options she was ever going to get.
She looked curiously at the other two mercenaries as she was led by Shiel. she took Stryler's words with a smile and replied,
Thank you...It's okay. You don't seem like the kind of person to do that often and you were a bit outnumbered back there so I understand being frustrated. Sorry I hit you with my staff. I hope that didn't hurt too badly. I guess its good night for now!. Then Shaiel whisked her away to training

Desdemona couldn't help but smile as Christina's face flared an unnatural red. She really was adorable. The girl seemed as flustered as she was. This was not a familiar feeling to Desdemona, who usually only felt this nervous when making a new discovery in her work.
Doctor Night was still trying to entirely figure out what was going on when she heard Chris say that she liked her too. She looked up at Christina. Before she could say anything in response, Chris was dragging her back to the caravan as it began leaving for Nami-Cross. She did her best to pull her wrist away, when she was at last successful she straightened out her sleeve and walked side by side with Christina.
When they joined the group at the caravan and began walking , she pulled the woman over and whispered, Thank you for telling me. Then kissed her on the cheek before continuing to walk to Nami-Cross. She really was adorable.

No! You Two Can't! get in the tent and go to sleep... Our new recruit and I will be training so we'll be doing the watch while "You Two" get some rest.

Yes Dear if you say so... Jorgen got up and moved to the tent... Oh yeah sorry about the Bakery... Again, and the hole. They were both out of range before they could hear Jorgen's words then he went inside and checked on Karden as she was wrapped in Shaiel's blanket... She seemed alright, nothing too terrible just tired... He walked to the other side of the tent where some small cots and blankets were laid out, then slept.

Ooooookay sit!... They were in a small grassy patch just within eye shot of the tent... It had grown dark and Shaiel patted the grass in front of her for Aingel to sit down... Sit down hon first I'm gonna teach you a little bit about the basics... First before getting into any fight you need to learn how to assess your foes at any point in battle... So that way you know how you should fight whoever your fighting, and remember you can always fight, even retreating is a form of combat... It's what the professionals call long term evasive tactics. If your opponent sees you running away and doesn't follow, they're losing because that means your plans have changed and you're getting what you want... Now the next thing you need to know is............... They talked and discussed tactics and also about the difference between different styles of attack for different needs like; charging, harrying, and disabling... They talked deep into the night until the next morning.

Edvard ignored the joke about her dating Fredrick... although Fredrick floated behind Edvard hiding his shyness... Edvard looked at the young princess of his home country perplexed... She just bluntly asked him on a date... For but also not for love... He tried to formulate an answer to the question she basically asked which was "What Is Love?" as he thought of it he had not a single idea... he wished for what all others did; a relationship, a partner, affection, trust, happiness... but are these the qualities of love... what was love, he was quite curious himself perhaps it needed to be experienced and not explained as he was trying... well if that was the case then wasn't the best answer to accept the girl's offer?... it was odd how easily he was considering this considering his usual taste in men over women, he had no problem with women in fact he was noted charming by a number of women in Sparrow and Honeria... Fredrick nudged Edvard and whispered in his ear.

The Talking Balloon had a good point, as usual... it was funny how accustomed Edvard came of that phrasing... He thought for a long moment and then made his decision... Then with an Eloquent bow Edvard took Tatania's hand.

Stryker sighed, then stood up, heading into the tent. He involuntarily looked over at Karden to see how she was doing, then immediately wondered why and quickly looked away, blushing slightly. He headed over to the side of the tent with the cots for the guys (which, in retrospect, was really just him and Jorgen wasn't it--?), and settled down on the empty bed, taking off his armor to just be in his clothes before getting comfy. It had been a hard day, yes--but he was sure that that just meant that tomorrow would be better.

Eventually, slowly, Celeste started to move off Blaze's shoulder. She'd actually slept well, for a decent while, but with the position she was in it was kind of hard to sleep for a long period of time and still be comfortable- so, her body protesting, she slowly blinked her eyes open before yawning gently, not really wanting to move yet... but knowing she needed to. She tilted her head up a little to glance at Blaze, smiling contently at him before slowly pulling away and sitting up straight, stretching her arms over her head. "... It's starting to get late... we should probably start moving soon," she mentioned to him, biting her lip a little as she checked the sun with the horizon. Without waiting for a response, she slowly stood up, kicking any numbness out of her legs before she cupped her mouth with her hands and pretty much shouted for anyone even remotely nearby to hear. "GET READY TO MOVE OUT GUYS! We need to put some distance behind us!" With that said and done, she slowly dropped her hands back to her sides, before sighing heavily. "... Still kind of tired..." she mumbled, before shaking her head and turning to Blaze, waiting for him.

A young man was wandering the streets of Nami Cross...and looked awfully out of place. The pinkette was very well dressed--a bit too well dressed to simply be walking about--and the way he was ogling at everything like a simple country peasant seeing a city for the first time completely counteracted how well he looked--
In all honesty, anyone who saw him was just kind of a bit confused.
Either way, he was simply wandering, up until he came to an especially large building and stopped to just kind of stare at it, admiring the intricate stained glass windows and stone arches--the architecture in Nami Cross really was a sight to behold! Everything was so very different than back in Jiveland, where, while things were just as large, the style was completely different...

Kory moved away from Elizabeth and quietly went to speak to Blaze um blaze if it wouldn't be to much of a burden i need to get things from home before we leave i would like to come with you clears throat and blushes for some reasons that have become apparent. i would like to follow my future bride to learn more about the world although i have traveled before i would like to travel with her and your troupe, i feel like i would learn a lot about social interactions which personally i know little about. Kory stood feeling very awkward from his explanation of wanting to travel and hurried off in the direction of his home to collect his things and come back quickly remembering to drop tokens to find his way back. strangely enough he walked for about 5 minutes into town and a shop keeper directed him the rest of the way home allowing him to grab the proper clothing and books for his travel not forgetting about his date he also packed a lunch for the next day and made his way back to the caravan which this time he found his way to the caravan by fallowing the tokens he had dropped he went to see blaze again having been gone for less then twenty minutes with a large pack that had scrolls and papers sticking out of it with a smile on his face ok im ready where to next

"Very well Edvard. Court me. Though know that this is just an experiment." Tatania said as she took the balloon thing. She made Christina blow it up, and Tatania came back with the item already at her bed. Then the princess came back to Edvard expecting their date to be average or so. They had a strange time. Looking at the toys, and even playing with them. The dinner was good, Tatania enjoyed the strange cooking from Sparrow, and top it all off she wouldn't mind to do it again. As friends of course.

"W-well I- WHA!" Christina was about to say until Tatania shoved a plastic thing in her face. After speaking about it, Christina blew up the balloon. "There you... Go..." Christina said as she watched Tatania run off to Edvard. Edvard and Tatania. She shuddered. That was... An odd pairing. "Well now that THAT is out of the way... I can't wait to get to Nami-Cross. We're going to see the princess there you know. Her's mom's birthday is coming up and Tatania was invited before this all happened, so... She decided it'd be good to see them and ask for assistance." Christina explained with a nod. It was only a matter of time before they were finally at the City of Water! Nami-Cross... A place with a dry heat due to being VERY close to the Yzyal Desert. A place that is still being discovered, and acts as a natural barrier for Nami-Cross. Christina looked around amazed... She always liked the fountains here.

After He and Tatania's "Date" which was surprisingly pleasant, Edvard lay in his bed contemplating their little experiment... It was funny, he felt nothing for Tatania romantically however the "Date" was a nice break from his routine and he rather liked her as a friend, she was even interesting to talk to... It would be nice to do it again sometime, just to relax and unwind with a good friend.

As soon as they were under way and headed towards Nami-Cross, Celeste snuck into Blaze's quarters and settled in, making use of his bed without him knowing to nap a bit more. She didn't have one of her own, with so few things... but Blaze wouldn't mind, and she was fairly certain he was busy with leading the way. When they finally reached the new city though, she found herself waking up again, although this time a bit more refreshed. She still wasn't extremely happy... but she could work with this. As she stepped down to the ground, she stretched, yawning before beginning to wander along, down the line of the caravan, looking for anyone who might need help or simply want to talk... she wasn't sure what else to do quite yet.

Desdemona smiled at Christina's flustered reaction. She watched intrigue as Tatania presented Christina with a balloon. Edvard had given her that for a reason. She almost laughed. The princess had no idea what that balloon could do. What was Edvard doing? She smiled, at the very least Edvard was making friends.
She focused her attention on Christina began speaking to her again. She seemed to defer to official matter when unsure what to do.
I am excited to visit Nami-Cross as well. Honestly I assumed you could only have official business Nami Cross, considering the political situation. Seeking assistance from them would be a very good idea considering their naval forces. Desdemona listened to the Knight as she continued to walk along. The woman clearly believed that they could find help in Honeria's allies. Desdemona wished she was correct. It would be very bad for the political balance in place if Veloci gained too much power to quickly, especially given a few of their tendencies. It was one of the few places Desdemona visited purely for work.

We have to get to the Water Palace." Tatania said as she summoned her Family Staff to show who she was to the guards when entering.

"OH right! I hope she's in..." Christina said as she thought about it. It had been a while since they came here, and they had the invitation and everything for the party that will be happening what was it... Two days from now? She had to check that date. "And yeah Dez... We're hoping that they'll help us..." Christina said as she looked around. "All we need now is to get there..." Christina said as Tatania came up to her and Dez.

As Mikhail continued to wander the city of Nami Cross, he happened upon a caravan that was just pulling into town. He watched them with curiosity, seeing all types of people running around within the area. He noticed one woman in particular with a very extravagant dress...and his eyebrows rose when he saw her summon a staff. And, upon a closer look at the staff's insignia...
"E-Excuse me! Miss!" Mikhail called, speed-walking over to Tatania, a somewhat hopeful look on his face. "I'm very sorry to disturb you, and I might be mistaken, but...would that happen to be the insignia of House Everglot upon your staff there...? I-I have no intention of hurting you, I swear it--I know that people are out to hunt down the princess of Honeria, and I...in all honesty, I wanted to locate her to try to help her..."

Suddenly, and seemingly from no where, the entire group was attacked by a giant fan of knives, coming from four directions. It wasn't stopping, and soon, chains started to destroy nearby objects, the knives still going. Rikku dashed out, grabbing Tatania, knife to her throat.
"Sorry princess, you're coming with me." he said, as she started to back away. "ANY OF YOU MOVE, I SLIT HER THROAT!" he yelled. "IT WON'T WORK!"

"Well we should find a place to stay. Maybe an Inn." Tatania said before Mikhail came up to them. "Yes... And who would like to know?" Tatania asked, becoming defensive of the question.

"Wow... Your going to help us? That's great! Right Ta-TATANIA!?" Christina shouted when a wave of knives hit the group. Christina went into a defensive position, but got cut by most of the knives. "You... Let her go!" Christina yelled as she took out her sword. Tatania had protected her self by summoning a table to her side to block most of the knives before getting swiped. "YOU BRUTE!" Tatania yelled as she kicked her legs and held his or her arm. With the knife at her throat she was frightened, but didn't want to show it.

Edvard and Fredrick had been strolling along for quite some time now a beside the carts... He barely slept last night because he woke up so early... Tatania was likely to be attacked again and that balloon at least allowed Edvard to help if she were attacked in her sleep... Fredrick's reconnaissance balloons were coming quite in handy of late... Then an off shot knife flew past his face and as he looked around the corner he saw the scene of the battle and Tatania's assailants... "Well the balloon surely doesn't help if Tatania wasn't in her room."... Edvard sighed then checked himself and looked around, he could see both of the kidnappers from where he was but the one in green was out of the range of his ominous wind and the red one was holding Tatania... no that just didn't do... Edvard couldn't really fight without his magic... Oh well back to the basics...
Fredrick dear sir would you mind it terribly if you had a chat with that dear patron whilst I speak with Lady Tatania? Of course not Master I will keep our guest fully satisfied I swear to you.
Edvard nodded to Fredrick then concentrated hard for a long moment on the assassin in red and... Baton Pass! Suddenly Edvard was there behind Tatania... He looked down at her and tapped her on the shoulder M'lady are you alright you seem a little distressed.

Desdemona had been listening to Christina and Tatania. She was actually quite intrigued by the situation . Judging from the mans clothes he seemed to have some kind of high ranking position.
He'd almost spoken again when a storm of knives suddenly surrounded them. She attempted moved closer to where Tatania stood only to have a man come from behind the princess and hold a knife to her throat. Christina stood at the ready to attack the man at any needed point in time and Tatania was putting on a good show but Desdemona recognized fear. She sighed, seemingly unaware of the knives surrounding her. She swatted away the ones who came close to any vital regions of the body. She inevitably took a fair amount of damage but that didn't really bother her. She could heal in the closest ray of sun after this was over.
