"I'll have to tell you after Justus, she's not happy and nobody is going to talk to her," he mumbled before opening the window and climbing out. It hurt, moving his leg like that to get out, but he ignored the pain in favor of making sure the voodoo lady didn't tear their city apart. "Hello, miss. My apologies for the delay- I was injured recently, and told to rest. I thought someone else would be here... Jade left to examine the damage on the streets, I'm sure he'll return soon," he explained rapidly, just a tinge of pain in his voice. "Ah- and I forgot about the introductions. My name is Matthias Devereaux." He forced a small smile, brushing his hair out of his face.

Trinika watched the limping man come toward her. She approached and knelt down, and exposed the injured leg. She took out a ointment and rubbed a little bit on the knee, and then stopped. Mattieus' leg would feel a cooling healing sensation for a short time.
"Da should make it more comfortable. Thank ya Limping Man." she said. "I be waiting for Jade den. Ya be going back to dah bed. And give oters dis." she gave him some of the ointment, "But don't be using all of it. It be highly addictive to dah senses. It be for healing purpose." she said. "Come mah dancers! Let us start a ritual in dah name of Loa." she said, and her dancers started coming in.

"Er... Thank you," he replied, blinking as he felt the cooling sensation in his leg. It actually... didn't hurt nearly as bad. Wow. Stretching his leg a bit as if to test it, he gave a small genuine smile at Trinika. Once he was handed the ointment, he nodded, tucking it in a pocket before he turned and worked his way back to the infirmary- through the actual door, this time. His limp was actually less noticeable as well. "Well that was interesting..." he mumbled to Justus as he climbed back into bed and laid down.

Matthias shook his head as he fished the ointment out of his pocket and placed it on the table nearby. "There's a woman out there with a bunch of followers... She called herself The Voodoo Lady? Wants to join our cause and all that. I told her Jade was out so she's just waiting. Nothing dangerous," he reassured his friend.

"Voodoo Lady?" Justus asked, seeming a bit surprised. What a strange sort of person to show up! Still, any help they could get was appreciated...and yet...he was suspicious, as he always was, of new members. After all what if they were spies for Sullonstein?! "Maroon Emblem, can you get me one of those rolling chairs? I would like to go and meet this Voodoo Lady for myself. I must see if her intention rings true or not."

He rolled it up next to Justus' bed then hit the brakes, looking at his friend carefully. "I'll have to help you... How to do this without hurting you, though?" he mused, glancing between the knight and the wheelchair.

Justus stared at the wheelchair for a moment. Stared...and stared...and stared...before just sort of rolling off the bed and into the wheelchair and flopping into it. "GFKDSLFASJS--...I. Am okay. Yes." That had hurt. A lot. It probably hadn't been the best idea. But at least he was sitting in the wheelchair now. "Onwards! To the Voodoo Lady!"

"Justus, what--" Matthias scowled as his friend took getting into the wheelchair into his own hands, crossing his arms. "That could have been a lot less painful. And you don't even know how much worse that might have made your ribs!" He stood there for a moment to let his words sink in before he limped around behind the chair and began to push it outside, limping the entire way. At least this way he had the wheelchair for support...

Dorthy looked up at Catherine, trying her best to be strong in front of the adults. Her father always told her not to cry when she was hurt. To only do it when she was alone and no one could see. She believed that this was what her father did all those nights alone in his study where she heard those awful, AWFUL noises that sounded like grunting, and groans. She never went in. "Oh... Okay..." Dorthy sniffed her arms trembling before she heard someone looking for her father. "Hello?" she called to the Voodoo Lady. She then went to hug Catherine when the dancers came about. "Is he done yet? And why does he name them after you?" Dorthy asked as she looked up at Catherine.

"I want my Dolly... I want my dolly... I want my, my... DOLLY!

Kraven looked down on Dorthy, smiling at her "Because I like naming things..." he pointed at Jo the ostrich, whom was waiting outside the flower shop "Like Jo the Ostrich! Hahahaha!" he didn't even seem to notice anything weird form the voodoo lady, he just kept moving along with his day. He looked over to Cathy "Hey Mosquito... we should go punch buildings later... I have the strong urge to punch buildings in the face!" he then looked back to Dorthy "Dorthy... I have something important to say to you after your father returns..."

Catherine hugged Dorthy as she saw how scared the girl was. She didn't pay any attention to the voodoo dancers, just following Kraven and Dorthy as she pet the girl, trying to make her feel safe. Then Kraven answered the questions for her and the nurse nodded

"Yeah, basically that."

She said, then grinned as she heard Kraven say he wanted to punch buildings.

"YAY! Can I bring the rocket launcher so I can blow some of them up?"

She asked Eagerly, picking Dorthy up so she carried her bridal style. She heard Kraven mentioning something about talking to Dorthy and looked at the nun-man curiously, hoping he'd explain it to her.

Trinika waited until Dorothy said something to her. She looked at the small child...and her eyes glistened. She LOVED kids.
"Why hello der my little one! Aren't you being da most cute ting I've seen. What be yer name girl?" she asked with a large smile, and then saw Kraven. "Pardon me, but you be da father of his little child? I can see some similarities." she said. She looked at Catherine, figuring that she was the mother.

When she was picked up and sighed and snuggled into Catherine, like a long lost teddy bear. She took in the scent, and listened to the heart beat. This felt safe to Dorthy."Talk about what?" Dorthy asked until the Voodoo lady came up to them while the odd couple were talking about destruction of buildings. "I'm... I'm Dorthy! Pleased to meet you!" Dorthy said being very polite. "Um... He's not my daddy... And... I don't know who my mommy is. But she's around somewhere!" Dorthy said with hope, she really wanted to meet her.

"... Justus..." Matthias groaned as he dropped his head down on his friend's shoulder, staying there a moment before standing straight once more. "I do hope you know my leg still hurts," he complained quietly before pushing the knight towards the small group. Like hell he'd go back to the infirmary so soon, after all that work, for nothing.

Kraven shook his head "Well Dorthy... I have a habit of REALLY liking the people I fight... why do you think my bestest friend is Ryder!? So obviously I'm gonna name the plants after someone I love very dearly!" he responded to Dorthy, trying to make it sound as nice and good-willed as humanly possible. Kraven then gave a hug (which he didn't really like, it involved little to no violence) "See! Right Cathy! We're totally getting a long!!" he yelled to her happily. And then the voodoo lady stuff happened, which Kraven wasn't really paying attention to, and as she left, Kraven commented "It'll be fun to watch her die later on... wait! Who said that!?" he said with a grin before turning to Dorthy "Dorthy... do you know what your father's dream is...?"

Catherine nodded at the Voodoo Lady and just let Dorthy answer for her, the girl was quicker and probably smarter than her anyway. Then Kraven explained the whole naming plants that he killed "Catherine" thing and she smiled

"Yeahhh Father Death just really really loves me~!"

She reassured Dorthy, not wanting the girl to be all scarred for life cause of the Catherine-plant-mass-murder. The comment about watching the Voodoo Lady dying came and Cathy giggled, but then cleared her throat.

"I didn't hear anything, nope. You didn't hear anything either, right Dorthy? Of course you didn't, let's just get you some cotton candy...do they have cotton candy here? They should..."

She rambled on, trying to confuse Dorthy so she wouldn't be scared.
