Book 1 Metal: The Warrior Without a Kingdom Naala and Honeria

Post  MochaLatte on Tue Oct 29, 2013 3:33 am

So I am planning for this to a series. This is the idea... It is going to involve Christina, and her journey with the pain in the ass princess that she has to take care of because their kingdom was defeated like overnight. Now they both have to survive and get their kingdom back, but have to find their allies to help them. Along the way they encounter one by one characters that can help them on their quest while they go to their ally kingdoms. And best of all, the characters are based on pokemon! Like.. Not really gijinka's since they don't have the ears and tails, but like if the Pokemon were People that's what they would look like type of deal... What do you think? Sound like something interesting to do? Good cause that is what I am hoping for.

The character limit that you have is three. One for the good guys, the bad guys, and the whatever guys. And not only that but I want you guys to pick Different kinds of pokemon. I am not speaking about types but more like species. Give a new pokemon a try if it is at all possible, so pay attention to the profiles please! Happy RPing!

First the Kingdoms

Honeria: Honeria was built upon it's foundation on the plentiful mines that they have. Honeria was a kingdom that grew overnight, said that the original rulers made a deal with a witch. The witch gave them their wealth in the greatest metals in all of the land, but requested that she would be paid back by having her daughter marry into the family that requested to be the rulers, and that on the very knight of the minds discovery that the dead should be respected. The witch was said to be able to communicate with the dead hence the reason why in Honeria the dead are well respected all year round along with their metals. Anyone who can communicate with them is also very well respected. With these metals they have created vast amounts of armor and weapons to defend themselves along with many other things. They're ground troops are not one to scoff at, especially when fighting on their ground. They're common use of warfare is using the spirits of the land to help them by using the The Cloaks, summoners who can manifest great power, and they wear cloaks... Deal with it. The only thing truly lacking is their naval force, but with the kingdom of Naala that is usually covered. The special forces that protect the royal family were called the Platinum Knights, very skilled in their magic and weapon of choice, Christina was about to join them before the kingdom fell. The knights were of 13, and had different sets of magic covering the kingdom.

The Kingdom of Naala: Also know as the Kingdom of Waters, and if you couldn't tell this land has a special connection to the water of all kinds. The land is filled with marshes to protect themselves from the ground front, and a formidable Navy. Though they are prone to aerial attacks the land has done a fabulous job protecting themselves against invasions with it's allies Honeria, Jiveland, and Sparrow. How the kingdom came to be was through it's marvelous pearls and strange food, like raw fish on rice. Not only that MANY have seeked Naala due to it's naval force and trade routes. In a sense Naala is trade central, all the hottest trends are there. The special forces of Naala are there Naval Captains, and the ICE. No ones knows the ICE... No one questions the ICE...

The Kingdom of Jiveland: The Kingdom of Jiveland is a very mixed kingdom at best with many different types of people. It is also the land that many call that if you want to make a new start, THAT is the land. The land were fresh beginnings awake and new adventures where the past didn't matter. It is a very indivualistic country, and though it's army is something to scoff at, it's rich plains and forests and potential are what people are after. Not much is known give to this time...

The Kingdom of Veloci: A cold land that is dark most of the time... A country that used to be ruled by Barbarians, but have grown with the times when a new ordered rolled in not too long ago. They are known to be quite skilled in warfare, and even now have their own league of assassins called the Dark Hand. As of now Veloci is on the war path, and have began to conquer different countries with a supposed new weapon. No one knows what it is, and one thing is for sure... Veloci is putting people on edge, and they are the ones who destroyed of Honeria overknight... Not much is known given this time. At this point the people of Velochi are now gaining control of Honeria after disabling the Capital, Silveraunt, and they now sent out the Black Hand to find the survivor Princess Tatania and whoever is with her.

Sparrow: Home to many flying machines, and mechanics! It's high mountains and hot climate are to die for! Literally! Be careful of land slides and heat stroke, they will kill you. These are the people who live for industry! You want steam punk, this place reeks of it! In fact they invented the term with how the people are. They're a bunch of punks, and can be jackasses. This place is also home to many fighting rings, and drug exchanges. Currently there is a turf war between the Yellows and Greens... Better stay away from them. Though it may not seem like, Sparrow is also home to some of the most peaceful people too. Depending on where you go. If you go into the cities you will find the jackasses, however if one goes to where the mountains, where the peaceful people of the Airean Religion are, you will find a vastly different picture.

Christina Vorpal
The Spazzy Knight

Christina and Tatania walked for days, taken rides on wagons and saved up as much money as they could, but it was still a long way to go and Christina wasn't sure how long they could keep this up. "Tatania? Are you alright?" Christina asked as they made it outside of town. There seemed to be a commotion there. Like a festival or carnival of some sort. Maybe they could go with these people to the next destination? She would have to see. Tatania looked at Christina with the once primed up hair, messy, and gave her a look that said, 'what do you thin?' and Christina sighed. "Let's go..." she said as they went into the town of Newbert. Indeed a festival was happening at this moment, and there were many entertainers! Fortune Tellers like Celeste, and some people doing fire tricks. "Looks interesting wouldn't you say?" Christina asked, and Tatania shrugged, "Not like it matters... We won't stay to watch. We'll just keep going, and going, and going..." Tatania said in a distraught voice, showing how annoyed she was becoming from this constant travel. Christina paused when Tatania said that. Was it true? Were they hardly resting? It wasn't like that they could afford it... But then again... To keep the moral up... "Well... Let's spend some time here enjoying this place while we can."

"... Can we do this?"

"Yes I think-"

"GREAT!" Tatania said as she dashed off before the rules could be stated by Christina. First rule... Don't go off on your own was broken, sp the knight went looking for the princess. She found her looking at some fire tricks being done by a young man with horns.

Blaze Xeno
Young Performer
-------------------------------------
"Hey there! You here to see the show? Step right up, let's get started!"
-------------------------------------

The young man was atop a platform stage, grinning happily and looking to be having a great time as he juggled three torches alight with flame, every once in a while doing fancy tricks like throwing one of them over his back and kicking it back up into the air with his foot, or other things of the like. Despite his seeming relaxation on the stage, the sweat forming on his brow revealed his serious concentration as he worked--though he still seemed to be having a lot of fun with it. He gave a sly smile to the audience before catching one of the torches on the toe of his boot, balancing it there for a moment before kicking it up, and sending it flying into a terra cotta pot that he had nearby on the stage. The other torches were soon to follow as well, all of them landing into the pot, before Blaze brushed his hands off and grinned out at the audience.
"Now then! I'm gonna need a volunteer for this next one! Anyone wanna give me a hand...? Anyone, anyone at all!" He scanned the crowd, before his eyes fell upon Christina and Tatania. "How about you two lovely young ladies?" he asked, holding out a hand to help them up onto the platform. "Care to see what the flames of fate have got to say about the rest of today~? Who knows--you might find out something good!" Whatever sort of trick this guy had prepared still didn't seem too clear--but either way, he seemed absolutely ecstatic about it.

Christina Vorpal
The Spazzy Knight

"Good to see you here slowpoke." Tatania commented as she clapped when she saw the trick and Christina smiled. It was good to see the princess having a good time. Usually she is ill tempered, and suffering because of what happened to her home. Heck sometimes Christina forgot that the princess could be rather nice, uh... When she wasn't getting her into fights or in one of her moods. "Yes!" Tatania said as she went up to the stage and Christina was about to stop her. She also knew in one of the rules to not like royals like Tatania to go off on tricks like this because there might be a trap. "But..." Christina said, and Tatania stomped her foot. "Come on! Don't be like that Vorpal! You said that we can have some fun..." Tatania said with her eyes narrowing and Christina thought that maybe for once she'll... Let up on the rule book. She was going to up there herself anyway so what could go wrong. People clapped when they saw Tatania and Christina come up to the entertainer. "Okay... So what do we do?" Christina said awkwardly, and Tatania stood proud, waiting f=what she should do. She always wanted to be in the spot light and... Now that she was closer to this entertainer he looked... Familiar somehow... Tatania shrugged it off. It will come to her eventually. But right now they have fun. It had been a while for Tatania. She was afraid that she might have gone or go crazy if she had went on any longer. She knew Christina was trying to protect and she was new to knighthood, but she didn't have to be so... Rule Booky all the time.

Celeste Hawkins
Fortune Teller
-------------------------
"Shall I read your fortune for you? The sands of time are constantly changing yet I can try to peer past the haze... for a price."
-------------------------

A ways back from the stage Blaze was performing on there was a small, cozy looking little tent with smoke from incense wafting out the flap which had been pinned open. Inside, Celeste was watching, taking her chance while there was a lull in her customers to watch. It could get boring, being locked in all the time, and as often as she could she would set up across from the male's performance area so she could at least have some sort of entertainment between customers. "It's slow today..." she murmured thoughtfully, chin resting in hand as her eyes fell upon the pair the cheery performer was welcoming on stage. She suddenly fell still as she examined them from afar, chills running up her spine. Those two... seemed so familiar... yet she'd never met them. It was an eerie feeling, so strange... "... Strange things are happening... strange things... focus." She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose before continuing to watch the show- though her mind was distracted now, trying to remember why they looked so familiar.
Of course, another reason she was so close to Blaze's performance had everything to do with the fact that she could heal him or another very quickly if somebody got hurt during the show. Which, given the heat of the flames and Blaze's enthusiastic hyperactivity, she wouldn't be surprised about. She'd merely be prepared.

-------------------------------------

Blaze grinned happily when he saw that the two young ladies accepted his offer to come up onto stage. One of them seemed...familiar...but oh well, that didn't matter! When Christina asked him what they needed to do, he simply smiled at her and pulled a small bag out from his pocket.
"It's simple, really! One of you just needs to shake this bag up nice and good, then toss it from here into that pot over there! And the rest'll work out by itself! Why not give it a try?" He extended the bag out towards the two of them, offering for one of them to take it.

"That's it? Nothing else?" Christina asked and Tatania took the bag without a second thought. He was an entertainer, and she will do her part to entertain commoners. So she'll shake the bag as much as she wanted. In fact it was kind of violent. Christina was kind of concerned with how violent the shaking was. "Hey... Uh... May I toss it?"

"Fine." Tatania said as she gave the bag over with a scoff. Christina accepted the bag and began to shake it, a little more gently before throwing it right into the pot.

As the bag landed into the pot and made contact with the fire, a beautiful pink flame shot up from the pot into the air, along with a burst of pink smoke. Blaze turned to the two girls and grinned at them before speaking,
"Well, would you look at that! Pink! Good fortune for you two! Something's going to happen that will help you along in your challenges! Even if things start looking down, don't you lose hope, 'cause things'll be looking up in no time!" Blaze moved across the stage with a hop and a skip, picking up a leather skin from a small stool atop the platform. The skin was full of water, and he used it to douse the fire that was inside the pot, before placing the canteen back onto the stool. "Alright! Thank you for your help, ladies! Couldn't've done it without you!"

"Good fortune? That is good to hear!" Christina said with a sheepish smile as Tatania rolled her eyes. "Yeah... Good Fortune..." she said grumpily. They're travels had been everything except fortunate. They've lost nearly everything, and are going to the limit of their endurance. "What a load of- Hey wait I know you-"

SHOOOOP!

Came the sound of an arrow that hit the stage startling the two girls and the people. And it wasn't the last. Suddenly arrows were coming out of the sky, and some were on fire. "GOOD FORTUNE MY ASS!" Tatania yelled as Christina protected her. "We got to get out of here!" Christina yelled and her mind began to wonder to one question. Who was attacking them?

Blaze took a step back in surprise as the first arrow hit, surprise washing over his face, looking up only to see more arrows coming down at them.
"Wh--aw, crap! Look out--!" Blaze quickly ran over to the two girls, standing in front of them before lifting his hands, his eyes flashing a bright red before he blasted some fire into the air from his hands, incinerating the arrows coming at the girls and himself before the arrows even reached them. He paused for a moment, before looking back at the girls, his hands cooling down again after using the magic. "Youuu...um...didn't see that. Uh--" He grabbed each of the two girls by the hand, and quickly led them down the stairs at the back of the stage, running back towards Celeste's tent. "Celeeeeste! Time to split--! Also, we need to help these two, too--!"

"EEEEK!" Tatania screamed as Christina unleashed her sword, and was about to defend her princess from the oncoming arrows until Blaze did fire magic. They both stood there shocked, Christina with her sword drawn and Tatania holding Christina's sash over her head. "Yes I did. I know that magic style..." Tatania said to Blaze, 'not taking that bullcrap' one of voice before her and Christina were taken by the hand by Blaze. Christina almost tripped down the stairs, but they made it down and went into a fortune tellers tent. "Your going to help us? Thank you... But don't sell us short I can fight." Christina said, and Tatania sighed. "Yes... Entertainers are going to help us... And only you can fight? HA!" Tatania asked as she summoned her staff, showing off the Everglot symbol on it, the royal symbol. "I can fight as well." She said as she tapped Christina on the head with her staff. "Don't show that off!" Christina said as she covered the symbol, and held her head. But then more arrows came down and it stopped the mini argument. "OKAY! You can help!" Christina said and Tatania smiled triumphantly. "But where are we going to go?" Christina asked and then they heard an explosion!

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" the laugh cackled through the air! They looked to be bandits... Bandits that got REALLY nice toys... Wonder where they got them? Maybe someone needed to chat with one of them. "TAKE WHATEVER YOU CAN FIND MEN!" called out the leader of the bandits. He was around somewhere. So now the group has a choice... Run... Or stay to help the people of this town.

Celeste Hawkins
Fortune Teller
-------------------------
"Shall I read your fortune for you? The sands of time are constantly changing yet I can try to peer past the haze... for a price."
-------------------------

Celeste had watched from afar as Blaze finished up his show, smiling faintly at the sight of the brilliant pink flames. He always did add a flare of style to his performances, at least from what she had seen. Though... "That's my line, you rascal," she complained as she heard his words echoing to her tent, pouting some. She was the fortune teller here, after all. She felt... uneasy though. Something was wrong. Just as this anxious feeling peaked, and she started feeling sick to her stomach-
The arrow thumped into wood of the stage.
She staggered to her feet and watched from her tent as a rain of arrows arched down towards the trio, desperately trying to think if there was something she could do- when suddenly Blaze stepped up and turned them all to ashes. Well then. She was just about to step out and see what was going on for herself, but she heard Blaze's yelling and saw them approaching, and turned to gather up her things instead. It only took a moment, and then she turned to them as they all crowded into the tent.
"Yeah, I kinda figured we would," she mumbled crossly to the male before she examined the pair of girls, taking the chance to see why she knew them. She still couldn't recall though, and there was no time to waste. "Stop bickering you two we need to move," she snapped, though her sharp eyes noticed the symbol on the young girl's staff. It was no matter though- she wouldn't stand by and watch two young women get hurt, no matter who they were. They could question them when they were safe. "Come on, this way, we can make a run for the trees and then-" She had started to push a hidden flap aside, showing a back entrance to the tent, when she was cut off by the explosion, and the yelling from the bandits.
Well then. That made things difficult. She grimaced, glancing at the others.
"... I won't make a decision for all of us. What should we do?"

Tatania and Christina looked at one another. Although Christina wants to keep Tatania safe, there was also the fact with the people here. They didn't do anything wrong, and... Some of these people were probably from Honeria. Surviving... Plus they need to get rid of those bandits anyway. "We must protect the people." Said Tatania and before Christina could answer the princess held up her hand. "No... I don't want to hear argument. We are staying to help and to get rid of those ruffians. I have my magic... You have your sword fighting. Anyone else want to help?" Tatania asked, her voice was commanding a calm. Though on the inside she was nervous, she never fought before, but she'd be damn to let these thugs get they're way. Christina nodded her head to the girl and looked at everyone else. "I am afraid that I must side with Tatania... If I am to ever to be part of the Platinum Knights, then I must stay and defend." Christina said with resolve.

Celeste sighed as she heard Tatania's decision, and Christina's loyal promise to stay with her. Of course. Then there was Blaze, and his little... thing. She didn't even know what to call that- if he could do that to arrows, who knew what he could do to people... Then again, she knew exactly what he had the potential to do. Which reminded her... She examined the male carefully, her head cocked to the side. If he would let her- but that was rather... She glanced at the other two before sighing roughly, lifting the small bag with her things off her shoulder and handing it to Blaze. "If you're staying out of the fighting then you can hold that for me, right?" she asked while holding it out to him, a small threatening smile on her face. "And nothing will happen to it... right?~" Her voice was sugary sweet, and she stepped closer to him as if to pass off her bag- but the instant she was closer, her voice dropped to below a whisper, low enough so she knew neither of the young girls could hear. "Blaze I know this is sudden and kind of awkward but if you would let me take some of your power- not enough to really tire you out- then I could fight these idiot bandits a lot easier... especially if you won't fight," she mumbled rapidly, looking a tad bit embarrassed yet... hell. It was a resource- why not make use of it? She didn't want the others to know though. People got so... anxious, when they learned she could suck the energy out of someone.

"Not the best fighter? You just stepped in and saved our lives on instinct with powerful fire magic." Tatania said with an annoyed look on her face. That excuse just won't do for her until Christina stepped in. "He must be nervous Tatania... It might be his first fight." Christina explained and Tatania looked back at her body guard with a raised eyebrow. It was her first too, so why won't he fight as well. This frustrated Tatania until she heard that Celeste may be able to help. "What are you planning on do-" Tatania began to say until she heard foot steps. She and Christina looked over to see some bandits, 5 of them, coming their way. "Make your choice quickly!" Christina exclaimed as a bandit came over to swing her ax down on her before Christina dodge out of the way before stabbing forward, landing a critical hit on one of the bandits. Tatania got her staff ready before energy swirled around her, making two of the bandits fling back into the stage. Now there were only three at the moment. One that was hurt slightly and the other two are still able to fight. One bandit went after Celeste while the other went after Tatania since her magic was something to fear. There must have been 20 bandits here at the most. If only the law force could get organized faster to help. Maybe that is what Blaze could do.

"Ah--y-yeah, sure," Blaze said to Celeste quickly, grabbing her arm for a moment and letting the woman extract out a good amount of energy. As he stood there, he listened to Christina and Tatania talk about him, and sighed audibly at the fact that they were kind of talking about him like he wasn't there. Once Celeste had gotten all of the energy she needed, he let go of her, then began to back away from the three ladies. "I'll just...uh...go rally the enforcers or something...! Yeah...! Y-Yeah--I'll--go do that--!" And with that, he scurried away from the women. He knew that he wouldn't be of any help there--and didn't really hold any confidence in his fighting ability, and thusly pretty much felt like he should probably just stay out of it. He stealthed his way through the chaotic town, just hoping that he'd be able to rally the law enforcement in time...

"Shall I read your fortune for you? The sands of time are constantly changing yet I can try to peer past the haze... for a price."

Needless to say, Celeste had not been expecting such an easy acceptance of her suggestion- so Blaze grabbing onto her arm only made her jump in shock, squeaking quietly. She soon calmed back down though, moving her hand over top of his and focusing as she took energy- just enough to help her in case she needed to use magic, yet not enough to tire him out too much. Once he backed up, she let her hands drop, exhilarated by the rush of new and foreign power. Damn- he was strong. "Be careful! And watch out for my bag!" she called after Blaze before she spotted the bandit heading towards her, and she pulled one of her kunai from somewhere within the folds of her clothes. She waited until he got closer to strike out with a kick aimed for his knee, quickly following up with a slice for his throat- an easy sort of grin on her face despite what she was doing. It seemed swiping some of that power was giving her a sort of energy high...

Christina Vorpal and Tatania Everglot
The Spazzy Knight and the Princess of Honeria

While Blaze went to find help and he did, he needed to help those law enforcement people to get organized. "We can help you, but the way we gotta do this is if we attack the leader, and were so under hand that were are just concentrating on getting the people out!" explained one of them and Blaze could see the law helping people out, getting wagons ready while they send off squads to protect the people.

"Woah! Nice moves! How are you doing that?" Christina asked though she was a bit scared at that since she had never seen anyone move like that before. She was just glad that Celest was on there side. While mulling things over she felt herself getting push to thew ground and someone licking her face. "GET OFF!" she yelled at the bandit. They weren't just bandits... They were perverts too! Christina did her best to kick the man off but it was with the help of Tatania that he was sent flying off. "Thanks..." Christina said as Tatania got ready for another attack. "Keep your head in the game! Remember your a knight!" Tatania shouted and Christina felt a bit embarrassed at that. She was supposed to protect Tatania, not the other way around. So the knight jumped to her feet and began to charge her power.

Celeste ducked under a swing from the bandit, having just missed his throat with her previous attack. "Lots and lots of practice," she replied to Christina, busy sweeping her leg at the bandit's feet in an attempt to topple him over. The unsuspecting man fell just like she had wanted, and she was quick to tackle him, quickly and quietly crouching over top of him. "Oh yeah, come a little closer you sl-" Before he could finish his words, Celeste sliced her weapon across his throat, grimacing as she backed up and let him bleed out, gurgling to silence. It wasn't... pleasant. And after the adrenaline wore off she would feel guilty- but she was in fight or flight mode right now.

Doctor Desdemona Night

Desdemona had been enjoying the festival, particularly when the missing princess of Honeria went onstage with her attendant for the horned boys fire show. That was very interesting indeed! Then those damned bandits had to appear. She would have to tell Edvurd he had potential customers later.
Doctor Night sighed as she approached the rabble of bandits and smiled eerily."Time to go to work." she then proceeded to use her shadow balls on anyone unfortunate enough to be near her. Desdemona couldn't help smiling as the bandits began to realize how precarious their situation actually was.

"A-Alright--uh--lemme give you a hand--!" Blaze replied to the guard, before he began helping the law enforcement with gathering the civilians into the evacuation carriages. He especially helped with calming the children enough to get them moving at a good pace--if there was one thing Blaze had going for him, it was his way with people. With his help, the evacuation of the civilians began to go faster.

Christina Vorpal and Tatania Everglot
The Spazzy Knight and the Princess of Honeria

"Thank you! We need as much capable hands as possible!" the captain of the guard said and without further ado they helped the people out of there. In fact most of them were already evacuated. "Thanks mister! Get away too so that you can do those cool tricks!" said a little girl before she was taken away on the wagon with her mother. "I think we got it covered... Now it's time to put a plug in the problem! And it seems we got more help then we ever expected to have. Multiple people from your carnival are giving us a great help! We'll do our best to do our part as well of course." the captain said as he ran to get rid of most of the bandits.

Tatania picked up a few guys, but she was straining herself with her powers before flinging a couple of guys. She panted, holding her head before she looked over at Christina who kicked off a bandit from her body before slashing her sword downward. Bright light emminated from her sword blinding a couple of the bandits. "FLASH CANNON!" she yelled when it happened. "I think we need to tip this battle into our favor!" Tatania yelled and Mist started to cover the place. "Misty Terrian..." she whispered as she covered the area with a pink mist. Christina saw the mist and the bandit she was fighting running for his life along with others. With a sigh she put her sword back. "Well... This sucks..."

Doctor Desdemona Night

Desdemona stopped using Shadow Ball after she  started to feel the resonance of her attacks unfortunate side effect. She smiled , seeing that a lot of the bandits were dead, had fled or were knocked out. Then Doctor Night went searching to find the captain of the guard. There had to be injuries with this much chaos. She swiped at bandits with her metal claws as she came across them until she saw a group of people talking to what looked like a guard. As he started running back towards the battle, Desdemona gestured to him. "Most of the remaining bandits have either ran away or are incapacitated, but it's still worth a look. Are there any injured civilians still in town? I'm a doctor. I can help".

"Alright, gotcha!" Blaze called after the little girl as she left, grinning and waving. He then turned and listened to the captain of the guard, before the man headed off. It seemed like all there was left to do was getting rid of the remaining bandits...
At that moment, Blaze turned and saw an ornately dressed purple-haired woman, who was wearing a tiny little hat upon her head. He listened to what the woman said, then replied to her,
"I'm pretty sure that we managed to get all of the civilians evacuated...I think that all that's left is kicking the bandits out."
