Atlas walked around the cemetery from grave to grave noting each person... Bravery had told him of a number of adventures that had transpired before his incarceration... Scarecrow was asleep currently, that was very good, they both needed their alone time, it kept them both sane for the most part...
What was better was he and Jack were finally on a real date... or what turned out to be too date like not to be called one, after not meaning to go on a date... They were a very weird pair, they were and weren't a couple, they did and didn't have feelings for each other, and they both were and weren't crazy... However weird that was. They came across twin graves near a small tree engraved Henry Ghast and Mr. Ghoul... These made him shudder, men not unlike himself and Scarecrow although entirely different... Scarecrow somehow or other actually had memories Atlas didn't which laid dormant stored in Atlas' mind up until his full connection to Scarecrow, They had come to terms that they were different people and not one insane and the other just a voice although Ghoul and Ghast's graves still made him uncomfortable.
It was like someone or something had made it so that Scarecrow could never rest in death, he lived life after life after life behind a window with no way out, it was only until Atlas tapped into the whole essence of himself did he discover his dormant companion, if he had not Scarecrow would have stayed there ever mad only able to babble into his hosts dreams and subconscious on rare occasions... Who or what could have done this? Atlas thought on this often recently, especially after the whole blackout... Atlas had been hit rather severely in the head and was out cold for roughly two weeks, in this time Scarecrow had so much free time on his hands he didn't know what to do with himself and one night, bored out of his mind without Atlas, he got up and went on a spree of death, vandalism, theft, high security break in, and streaking. It was not Atlas' best moment on camera. He was eventually caught and while detained Atlas woke up... his only explanation was "Oh hey buddy, well I kinda fucked up now didn't I?" Atlas after waking slowly remembered everything Scarecrow did in those two weeks...
It was no wonder they were in No Man's Land... Scarecrow had done some stuff before, even some stuff he asked Atlas not to remember, which he could do, if Scarecrow wanted Atlas to not remember something and Atlas didn't try to remember it specifically he wouldn't... Like that man from the raiders group... Atlas realized that he had stopped. Jack had continued to the next grave without him. He had been staring at the graves very intensely and that his eyes were watering from the cold and being open so long. He wiped them on his sleeve and continued walking. As he walked to the next grave he saw a rose set between Ghoul and Ghast's graves, he wondered who had lost them. The next Grave had a small bird statue and a lance pointing into the ground... Oddly enough the name had been crossed out very heavily and at that the name must have been very long for most of the front of the slab was scratched off. However there was a poem scrawled in at the bottom below the name.
Oh right, Bravery said someone named Justus who they thought died was brought back by the faction that disappeared after Kraven died. It's funny how much he left behind considering he lives... I guess its for those who felt loss for him as a remembrance.
"It's Funny" He thought as he looked over to Jack, he hadn't seen people who care for the lost since his home town. It was refreshing.

Jack had been feeling strangely calm today. She had long since noticed that Atlas's presence seemed to be able to put her at ease quite effortlessly. The man likely wasn't even fully aware of this impact, but she was grateful for his presence. It helped provide an extra sense of balance in Jacks mind.
This whole venture had started as a suggestion to explore the area as comrades yet had started feeling more like something akin to a date. She could and couldn't wrap her mind fully around this idea. Their relationship had somehow become very unusually close over a short amount of time. Jack held decidedly more affection for him than most people she met. She was aware of that but whether or not they were or were not dating had never been vocally spoken. She was certain they both thought about the subject matter but neither ever seemed willing to ask the other.
Jack smiled as she took in the graveyard surrounding her. She knew that for most this place held tragedy but she found the sight of several of these graves very beautiful. The amount of detail used clearly showing how loved these people had been in life. The graves for a Vivian Orderly and Rourke Crosswell in particular always drew her eye, particularly the former. She knelt down the read the already familiar inscription, looking over and seeing that Atlas had begun contemplating something in that fathomless head of his. She'd spent enough time with Altas to be able to recognize when the man began contemplating his past, in particular Scarecrow. She smiled at the man, sometimes she wondered how he ever floated back to the surface with all he found the time to ponder.
Her hand unconsciously began tracing the words "True innocence is dead." The idea of an innocent in No Mans Land was tragically fascinating. That this place for devils and monsters could house a saint was something that Jack hadn't thought possible before. She had hoped truly innocent could be protected from demons like her in a place like this.
She bowed her head at both graves and waited for Atlas to catch up with her. The grave was never good to look at for too long, lest it bring up memories best left not dwelled upon.
That is a valid reason for some people to leave behind an empty grave. The people here seem honor life than they did back home in London. Most likely because we all are so aware of death. She looked over at Atlas and smiled.

Atlas caught up to Jack, looked up at her and smiled back as they continued along the graves, it had started to snow a while ago and they white flakes began to accumulate on the stone slabs of this quaint little courtyard. She made him happy, Jack did, it was so odd, Scarecrow was annoying at times but he meant well... Bravery was fun to be around however he was a silly little guy and he and Gabriel had such a good thing together, he had only seen them together twice in passing and didn't officially meet Gabriel yet but they were cute together, they were happy and they made each other happy just by being each other with each other... that's how he felt for Jack, or at least he thought he did, he hadn't felt affection for anyone since he and his childhood crush left their village after their parents either died or dissapeared, hers had died and so had Atlas' mother but his Father hadn't been seen for years after he went missing due to mysterious circumstances involving a group only known as "The Muppets"... but he was pretty sure he was in love with Jack, or at the very least growing to love her... Did she know?... Probably, she was more perceptive than him about these things. Or was she, he could never tell... It was just her, everything about her made sense to him, the craziness in her life her problems with her mind and every little thing she did... It was time to say it it had been months now and neither of them were getting anywhere and Scarecrow would be up in a few hours anyway. He came up to her as they walked side by side with his hands behind his back under the small wooden crate of survival and spiritual things he kept on his back that summed up everything he owned. Then looked at her and said So Jack exactly how long do you think we've been "Dating" at this point. Putting emphasis on Dating It must be at least a month and a half since joining Vulture and meeting everyone and two months since we met... and I'd say our first little not date date like this here was when we first met Bravery after he fell off a building and stopped just hanging there in mid air in front of us using that gear he had... But I guess we really can't call ourselves official since usually that entails something verbal doesn't... well isn't that a shame... so I guess we haven't been dating really of course we could start... Jack would you go out with me?

Jack noted a change in Atlas as he approached her. He had been contemplating something intensely for the past few minutes. She'd always had a fascination with how his mind worked, particularly since he shared his mind with another consciousness. She'd eyed the snow covering the grave yard. The snow covering the individual graves reminded Jack of a portrait her mother had been particularly fond of before her death. Jack smiled grimly and looked away. It was best not to dwell on certain things, lest any unfortunate accidents occur. Jack might have a decent control over her less controlled moments but they were still something she couldn't quite predict. She did and almost didn't wish there was an opportunity to see if she could gain slightly more control. She didn't want to hurt anyone who didn't warrant it after all.
Atlas's presence broke her out of these thoughts. She looked at the man by her side with interest. He placed his hands behind his back and began speaking. Her smile growing with each word. So he'd finally decided to speak up. She'd long since become aware that her affection for Atlas had begun bordering on something more than friendship a long time ago. Jack had only had one forced relationship before now but she knew enough to recognize a healthy situation when it presented itself and Atlas, despite his companion, was far more healthy for her than most people.
I suppose we began "Dating" about the time we started traveling together officially. I was under the impression we had a nonverbal understanding of where we stood but it would be nice to lay things out clearly. It would be a shame if we couldn't consider ourselves official so I do believe my answer is yes, love. She winked at her now boyfriend and smiled holding out her hand.

They stood there for a long extended moment... then as they disconnected a cold wind swirled around them and broke their little trance and they noticed just how late in the after noon it had gotten... We may want to head back... What do you say we head back, Bravery and the others must be wondering where we are at this point... it has been a few hours now. He looked back at her and smiled at the least likely person to make his life better, when Scarecrow woke up he would chew Atlas' head off, he had never approved of anyone Atlas liked and vice versa, Romance needs Atlas and Scarecrow were completely different... Atlas prepared himself for the onslaught of hateful teasing that was sure to come from the black faced man in his head... He took Jack's hand and lead her out of the Graveyard... (EXIT)

Jack smiled as Atlas grasped her hand, this smile widening when he began kissing her. The two stood there surrounded by gravestones for an amount of time that would be lost to her forever. They would likely continued had the wind not forced both of them back to reality. They had lost track of the time amidst their wanderings in the grave yard.
I agree. We should get back, Love. We've been gone so long that the whole base could have been blown up by this point.
They stood just smiling at each other for a moment before Atlas began leading her out of the grave yard. As they reached the entrance Jack tugged on the sleeve of the man who let her experience true calm for the first time in a long while . If we do end up finding ourselves in some sort of battle when we get back, I would like to do this again. Then she pulled him close and kissed him passionately but almost innocently. She pulled back smiling coyly and they exited the graveyard... EXIT JACK AND ATLAS

Rika walked into the cemetery clutching one of her books, she loved the silence that the dead provided along with the large broken statue of an angel at the back of the cemetery it calmed her for some reason. She looked around and for the first time noticed that it was snowing, she never noticed the weather because she couldn't feel it, she had no idea when she became unable to feel weather against her skin but she knew that when she was a kid she could in fact feel it. Rika didn't get it, she could feel people, the warmth they emitted and the feel of their touch. And at that moment while she was thinking she shivered, maybe it was just the idea of touching some one else that made her shiver but all the same she shivered as if feeling the snows cold kiss on her skin and reacting for the first time.

Rika continued walking towards the broken angel. As she finally got to it and settled down in her favorite sitting spot at the base of the angel, she set her guns beside her before sitting down as if keeping them handy and available for use. For a short time she watched the footprints left by people before her fill in, as snow drifted down slowly and settled into the prints. Rika wondered who had been here, it was two sets of prints so it was probably the red haired girl and the white haired man who never seemed to come here by themselves or to see her. Sighing she opened her book and began to think about her next shipment wondering when it would be in.

Rika sat there for a good while reading and thinking about her next shipment of weapons and when she finished the book she was reading, she hopped up and grabbed her guns. Rika began to look at the cemetery around her for a sign of the time, only to then noticed the blizzard that had seemingly formed without her noticing. She did get lost when reading a good book and usually she noticed when things got a bit out of hand, even with the weather, but this was just ridiculous. She was loosing her edge maybe it had something to do with the interview that she had had earlier that day but she just needed to get away from life even for a small amount of time so she had really gotten lost in thought. Lighting a cigarette she concluded that she hadn't noticed the blizzard because she was tired and hungry, so she started walking to edge of the cemetery thinking she needed a good nights sleep and maybe a hot meal. With those thoughts in mind she made her way back to Carrion Land for just that. Sleep and food.

Jackal made it to the Graveyard, looking down at the stones laid out for the dead with dull, dead eyes "I see... so these are the guys who died... huh..." Jackal stared at the graves blankly. He saw a few, apparently Ivy died at one point. Wynn, Duda, Akuryo, Lily... they all died. There were many names he did not know, or possibly ones that he just did not remember. He could not find The Inquisitor's grave, it was possible the man was never buried for all Jackal knew. But he found Jade's, and the first thing he did was spit on Jade's grave "You... you deserve worse... I wanted to be the one to kill you... to rip you apart... for all of those you made suffer... you deserved a horrible, slow death... one fitting of a man like you... even in death you are a failure..." he muttered to Jade's grave, before turning his back on the grave of his former enemy. It was time to move on, but there was one more thing to get done. Jackal moved to his own grave. Jack Harrison, immortalized as Gangsta Pimp. Jackal took a shovel left behind and stuck it in the soil of the grave "Come on... let me see you... let me see myself..." he said in a broken voice as he started to dig away at the grave.

As soon as Jo was able to estimate where exactly it was Jack was heading, her heart dropped into her stomach. She despised the graveyard. It supplied so many mixed emotions--guilt and anger primarily. She wasn`t---exactly ready for all these emotions yet. Having just gotten out of actual prison not too long ago... she really just wanted to not be bothered yet... then again---she hadn`t even bothered to ask if the gang war was still going on. She really had no clue...
"Jack! For fuck`s sake, wait up!" She shouted, still carrying Ivy and Thugalicious in her arms as she strided after her friend quickly. "Couldn`t ya just fuckin`---wait until I got to explaining shit to you?!" She was very sure to keep her eyes locked on his person, straight ahead--not allowing her gaze to accidentally falter to the sides of her path, scattered with the graves of people she was all-too-familiar with. Some stones accused, some reminded--it wasn`t what she needed on her mind right now... and, finally, she was cursing her newly peripheral vision. It felt... a strange, refreshing kind of alien to just be suddenly walking around eye patch-less. Knowing whom she had to thank for the new installment made her sick, though...

As she finally approached Jack, she didn`t stop walking briskly toward him even when she gently placed Ivy and Thugalicious back on their feet---she immediately continued toward Jack, grabbing his arm and trying to forcefully pull him away from his grave. "Fuckin`---stop! It`s fuckin` empty! Don`t touch it, you goddamn moron!"

Ryder grimaced as he saw that they were approaching the graveyard. He saw Jo, carrying Ivy, run into the graves after Jack, moving through the rows between as she followed him. He still held the Bufo toad in his hands as he approached the entrance, and as he followed Jo, he looked down at the amphibian, and in turn, the ground--anything to keep his eyes off the graves. He knew that he came here every so often to leave flowers--but that didn't make it any easier to face the dead. And especially today, after that whole conversation earlier about whether or not death was a thing...
And he still wasn't sure. Maybe it was just him being hopeful. Maybe it was just all of the guilt building up on itself. Maybe it was him wishing that he'd managed to get Wynn into that van and away from the hordes of Inquisitor foot soldiers. Maybe.
He did his best to keep his eyes averted from the headstones, but he had to check where he was going once in a while--he looked up, and saw that he wasn't about to bump into anything--and he saw that he was headed in the right direction--and something caught his eye. It wasn't Jo trying to pry Jack away from his own grave--no, it was the large headstone that he could see in the background. Yuri Dragovich.
He felt like he was going to be sick. He didn't want to be here.
But, obviously, something was up with Jack...and Ryder knew that he couldn't just up and leave...he'd gotten this far into the cemetery, he wasn't going to back out now and make that painstaking journey for nothing...He walked forward, handing the toad to Ivy, then moving to stand next to Jack and Jo. And honestly...he had no idea what to say. What had triggered this...? Why did Jack suddenly want to see his own body...? Wouldn't the grave just be empty, since the guy was reanimated...? He really had no idea at all what to say to anyone present--so, he stayed silent.

Jackal continued to try and dig into his grave, relentlessly he dug, eventually shrugging Jo off to continue his digging. It went on and one until finally Jack reached his coffin, and he did not stop there. The man took the butt of his shovel and rammed it into the coffin, breaking the coffin's top. Jackal's face turned to an expression of horror as he saw the opened casket, as he was face to face with a decayed corpse of himself. He was still there, in the grave. Jackal's eyes widened, his jaw dropped, he was completely silent. He just stared at the corpse before him, in the grave marked "Jack Harrison". And there was no mistaking it either, even for a decayed corpse, it was obviously Jack, the clothes, the hole in him, the sunglasses, it was him. Jackal stood there, face to face, Jackal dropped to his knees. His eyes were empty with despair, and he just sat there, not doing a thing.

As Jack continued digging, Jo was just as persistent--she pushed him, attempted to pry the shovel from his grasp, stepped back and tackled him--done anything she could. Each time, he`d move in the slightest--but shrug her off, and continue his work. "Jack!" She hissed, constantly shoving and pulling him. She`d step behind him, grab his arms, and attempt to tug him away--he`d take a step back, shove her off, and keep going at it. "You goddamn piece of shit---listen to me, fuckass!" Her voice rose, increasing in volume and anger each time, until it was near a shout---which comprised of a string of lewd curses aimed his direction. But, eventually, there was no more use---he reached the casket. She opened her mouth to shout at him more, a scowl already permanent on her features--until he just up and popped it open. She kept her sight locked onto his features, watching the way they grew crestfallen before turning down to the whole in the ground.

She knew what she`d see there. But, regardless, her face drained completely of it`s color, her heart dropped even further--if that was possible at this point. Her hands were limp at her side--for a moment, both her and Jack just stared down into the casket, utterly motionless, until Jack slowly dropped onto his knees. She glanced down at him for only a moment.
... So, maybe she knew that her best friend only suffering a minor flesh wound back at Baker Street was a bit of an understatement. He... wasn`t just out of commission. Jack Harrison died directly in front of her, and she went on to kill his murderer. But... the man in front of her... was very clearly Jack Harrison. She didn`t doubt it for a minute---didn`t even begin to consider the possibility of some impostor. She permanently averted her gaze from the open casket, and descended slowly onto her knees next to Jack. Hesitantly, she wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. "...Head back to the base, okay...?" She said quietly, in a tone soft and very unlike her. "...I`ll bury this back up myself. We`ll... worry about everything else later, is that okay...? Everything`s---gonna be alright, Jack..."

Ryder averted his gaze back down to the ground beneath his feet as Jo and Jack squabbled over the shovel, and didn't look up again until he heard the shattering of wood. As he looked up, he saw both Jo and Jack looking down into the grave, absolute shock and horror written across their faces...
He paused, then taking a deep breath before steeling himself, and taking the step forward that he needed to get close enough to look down into the grave...and as he did, he felt his blood run cold. Down there, just as it should have been, was the half-rotted corpse of Jack Harrison. It had been months...the man had been dead for months...and his corpse...was still here...
Ryder could hear Jo gently trying to comfort Jack, but for some reason, his eyes were fixed to the corpse in the grave--even though the thing he wanted to do most was just look away. His head was spinning. These two men looked identical--different hairstyles aside. This...couldn't be possible...could it...? If somebody came back to life...they kept their old body, didn't they...? Even Ivy's old corpse had vanished, when she'd been given her cybernetics...So what was this rotting corpse doing here, if Jack was alive...?
He finally managed to wrench his eyes away from the corpse, before moving a hand to his forehead, feeling a headache coming on. This was just all too strange...things were getting odder than usual...and that was really saying something...

Jackal stayed silent, vacantly gazing into the abyss, his life was entirely shattered, looking into his own cold dead eyes. None of it made any sense, Jackal knew it form the beginning. He just had to find the corpse and find out if it was true. He REMEMBERS dying, he DIED, yet, why was he standing here? He... he was not Jack Harrison... that was the only answer he could come up with. Jack Harrison died a long time ago, and Jackal, well, he did not know what he was. The man let out a sigh as he felt Jo's arms wrap around him. She was right, they had to go. Jackal stood back up, his arms dangling helplessly. The man slowly walked out back towards base, not even speaking a word "..." as he left, he grabbed Ivy and Thugalicious. He put Ivy on his head and held Thugalicious like a person. He was very confused at the moment.

Jo remained with her arms around Jack, not awaiting much of a response. Her breath was still, she didn`t move a muscle... just waiting until the moment he gathered himself and went on his own. Hearing his sigh, she held on the slightest bit tighter--until he wiggled out of her grasp and stood up. She remained where she was, on her knees in front of him, as he sauntered out of the graveyard on his own.

She stayed like that for a moment more, glancing over her shoulder to make sure he exited unharmed. She didn`t like the idea of leaving him on his own right now... even if he was just going back to Carrion Land... but, she couldn`t just leave his casket open and unburied like this. She pulled herself back onto her feet with a low grunt, taking a moment to dust off her trench coat. She then picked up the shovel Jackal had previously used, beginning to slowly scoop up dirt and toss it back into the hole. She didn`t so much as look over at Ryder before saying, "You should probably head back, too... I got this... I`ll meet up with you soon, alright?" Her voice came out a tad more monotone than she would`ve liked---but Ryder probably wouldn`t have too much of a hard time deducing why she was so bothered. Nothing time couldn`t fix... they`d get to the bottom of this soon...

"I'm going to stay...if you don't mind..." When Ryder finally spoke, his voice was oddly quiet, his gaze downcast. "You look like you could use some help...I could find another shovel, and give you a hand...?" He didn't know why he wasn't following Jack. Usually, he was fine with trying to comfort people--but for some reason, now, the idea of following Jack and speaking to him jarred Ryder--and he had no idea why.

"...If you want." Jo answered after a moment of thick silence---a bit of a smile creeping onto her features. She wasn`t sure how much she appreciated the whole 'looking like she needed help' line, but... the thought was nice, at least. After his response to it last time, what with that whole announcement- Jo made a mental note to watch how harsh she was with him. She`d baby Ryder if it kept him happy, she supposed. She kept working diligently on filling up the hole again, her feet planted firmly on the ground and her gaze averted from the corpse, even as she worked.

Ryder nodded to Jo after getting her response, then began looking around the near vicinity for another shovel, cringing visibly every time he saw the grave of somebody he knew. However, eventually, he found a shovel, sitting on the ground, discarded by whoever had dug the nearest grave. He reached down, picking it up without looking at the grave, then walked back to where Jo was filling Jack's grave back in. As he began to assist in filling the hole back in, he wasn't entirely sure what he should say--or what he could say. He glanced over at Jo momentarily, seeing that she was focused on her work, shovelful upon shovelful of soil entering back into the grave from whence it came. He, too, continued putting the dirt back in, feeling the silence tear at him--until he finally spoke up.
"Are you...okay...?" he asked her, only realizing after he'd spoken how out of place it had sounded in the silence. This entire day had just been an emotional roller coaster, for all of them...

As a silence fell over them, Jo didn`t so much as seem to notice. She continued shoveling away, only perking up slightly when Ryder returned with a shovel. She didn`t stop for a moment, though- they were already fairly close to finishing when Ryder`s words cut through the air. She paused her shoveling, glancing up at her companion skeptically. "Who, me? Yeah---I`m... I`m fine. I`m... great." She offered a very brief, stiff smile, but didn`t resume shoveling yet. She remained frozen for a moment, her expression vacant-- until she spoke up again. "... I don`t know what this means." She stuck her shovel into the ground, staring down into the nearly-filled hole with narrowed eyes. "...Since--it is Jack. I know him---and... that`s him. Not anyone else... but..." No one knew the gaping hole in Jack Harrison`s corpse like Jo. The moment she laid eyes on his still body--it was nearly unrecognizable. "...Hnn. It`s not cybernetics. He`s not reanimated. And I`m pretty sure he`s just as bothered as I am..." Most likely an understatement, she mentally noted. She let out an indignant huff, before tugging her shovel out of it`s perch in the soil. "...Let`s just get out of here quickly, alright...? I..." For whatever reason---her memory chose now to wash back in waves, reminding her that this was the last location she dwelled before spending two months in what she rightfully deemed hell. That fight with the Mistress--combat with the closest thing there will ever be to a true, living monstrosity--had been so... expected. But, what followed... "...don`t like this place. I... sorta... wanted to ask you a few things privately, though... this`ll probably be our only chance... I mean--if that`s okay with you. Away from the graves, of course." She concluded solemnly, continuing to shove the remnants of dirt back, with renewed vigor.

Ryder frowned slightly as Jo answered saying that she was alright--he could see right through that forced smile of hers. This event--no, not just this event--this place, their lives, everything--she'd been shaken. She'd been shaken, like so many others here in this prison...she had this Jack thing to deal with, on top of whatever had been happening to her for the months when she'd been missing...it sickened him to think what might have happened during that time.
As Jo continued on to saying that she didn't know what finding Jack's body meant, Ryder sighed, and gave a faint nod.
"I don't know what to think about it either." He didn't really know what to think about death in general anymore--but there was no way in hell he was going to bring that up again. "But...it's...it'll be alright. I mean--we'll talk to Jack about it later, and get this all sorted out. There's always some sort of explanation...right?" He continued working on filling in the grave as Jo remarked that she didn't like being around the graves--but he seemed a bit surprised when she said that she needed to talk to him in private. Away from the graves, of course. That part wasn't as surprising. "Sounds alright to me--let's just--get this finished quick, alright?"
The two of them continued the work on the grave--until all of the soil had been replaced, then patted down at the top to pack it in. The grave looked...almost good as new, actually. Once the work was done and the shovels had been discarded, the two of them walked away from the graves, to the gate of the graveyard--then Ryder stopped, turning to Jo. "So...you wanted to talk to me...?"

"`Course there is." Jo replied quickly. She smiled---a very strained, forced smile when he agreed to speaking with her later. "Mhm," She remained focused at the task at hand as they finished off filling up the grave, her gaze still averted the whole time. She became mesmerizingly concentrated on the movements of her shovel-- anything it took to not have to look up at the tomb`s words. She hardly even dropped flowers by here anymore, and she had begun feeling guilty about it... at least this served as a nice reminder as to why she had stopped to begin with. Too many graves to visit, anyway...

When the two of them finished up, Jo looked at the patted soil proudly, turning and walking with Ryder as they approached the gates. When he spoke up again, it nearly startled her-- since she had sort of put their reserved talk in the back of her mind. "...Right. ... Uh--" She took another tentative step toward the gate, pressing her back against it to lean. She`d probably have to make this quick... she didn`t want to leave Jack alone any longer than she had too. She was silent for a moment more, her eyes locked onto her feet, before they very abruptly flashed back to Ryder. "What you did before was dumb." Oh--her voice came out a tad sterner and colder than she had assumed it would... but---whatever---"...And kinda really embarrassing? Like, really---the whole floor? You were so mushy---I could`ve died---" She paused again, possibly just to further unnerve him-- letting a bit of a smile creep onto her face."...Ilikeditanyway-- but, s`not the point. The point is---uh---l-like--" Oh no--brain was doing mush thing--Jo stammered for a moment, hardly blushing as she cleared her throat-- "...I--uh---I wasn`t... wasn`t sure what the protocol for reunions was---so---I-I`m sorry for kinda jumpin` ya earlier and smothering your face and stuff---probably scared you a bit---I-I didn`t mean to--but, what I----what I mean to say is---uh--" Words words words words words-- "... It`s been two months. That`s the point. And---I-I---I wasn`t sure---if you still---like---y`know---n-not that you`re not acting like it or anything, I just wanna be sure...?"

Ryder couldn't help but blush in embarrassment when Jo brought up the loudspeaker thing--he already knew that it had been exceedingly dumb. As she continued, at first, he was afraid that she actually was mad about it--but then he realized that she wasn't entirely upset by it--so that was good.
And then she started stuttering--and he just got kind of confused--
"I-If I still what...?" he asked, obvious confusion showing in his expression over Jo's jumble of a question. "Oh--and there's no need to apologize--" He'd honestly kind of liked the kissy barrage, as shocked as he'd been at the time--

Oh god Ryder wry--
As much as she perked when he explained that there was no need to apologize for the whole kissy barrage thing--her smile quickly dissipated again, the slight pink glow on her face turning a deeper crimson--why don`t you just get things the first time around you dork--"...Uh---y-y`know--! I-If you---s-still---u-uh--" This was proving to be rather difficult--she huffed quietly, crossing her arms over her chest and turning her head away from him a bit. "................................Ifyoustilllikeme?"
