Braque smiled in relief, seeing Axel awaken soon after him- as Axel-y as ever. His smile disappeared at Inna`s pathetic excuse for a response, however-- his question hadn`t been answered, but he could tell the blonde wasn`t in the right state of mind to answer questions. He could figure it out later- right now, he had to use what little time they had before their employers showed up to fix Inna`s mental state as best he could. He gently closed his hand around Inna`s as she placed her hand on top of his, offering her a sympathetic smile. "Hey, chill..." He murmured, trailing off as he grew unsure of what to say next... he settled for scooting himself a bit closer to her, though not without a few quiet huffs in pain, and squeezing her hand some. "Don`t worry, babe... We`re all good-"

Axel's eyes widened as Inna suddenly grabbed his hand, he could see the tears running down Inna's face. This brought sorrow to Axel's heart, and he tightly held hands with Inna "Why are you so sad sister..?" he asked in a childish voice. He then immediately rose an eyebrow to Braque as he called her 'babe' "Baby...?" Axel was apparently put off by Braque calling his sister that. Axel eventually just stared up at the sky after, silent for a few moments before finally speaking again "What are we going to do next...?" he asked, noticing that his body was going numb "I can't feel my legs..." he added in a pained whimper.

Inna looked concerned at Braque's pain noises- normally she could have made fun of that, but the beating they had just taken had left her shaken and genuinely worried about all of their health..s. At least she had the comforting pressure of both brothers' hands, so she seemed more certain as she shook her head at Axel's question.

"Not sad, Axel... I am O. K. "

She said, trying to reassure the muscular blonde that he didn't need to worry about her. The Russian attempted a weak smile at Braque's words, but she couldn't quite bring herself to go there yet, instead nodding and squeezing his hand back, doing the same for Axel when she realized he was getting confused by the language now. She was content to just sit in silence, letting the rain wash away the blood that stained her face, until Axel spoke up again- this time it was more serious.
With wide eyes, Inna turned to the blonde, ignoring the first question and going straight to trying to figure out what was wrong. Had he lost too much blood? Was it the nanomachines acting up because of how they had been affected? She didn't know, so she looked desperately back at Braque, her concern painted clearly on her face as she looked to the redhead for help with this- she didn't understand cybernetics or nanomachines, and it was frustrating.

"What ees wrong weeth heem..? We have to feex, how do I feex heem?"

She croaked weakly, her voice hoarse as she pulled the redhead closer to their brother.

Braque had begun to relax, content with waiting in the rain for their employers- he could hardly feel his injuries... the EMP blast had rattled him both psychologically and physically-- but now, the worst was over, and only good could come. Or something. Then Axel said a concerning thing and Braque`s eyebrows flew up.
He scrambled to straighten himself up, so he could get a better look at the blonde- he looked at Inna with slightly parted lips, feeling his stomach drop considerably. He wanted to abate her concern, but he wasn`t sure how-- Axel should be healing. But he wasn`t. The EMP blast had worn off, as he could tell by the fact that he was, well, conscious-- had it short circuited his nanomachines...? There was a chance of him bleeding out-- there was a chance of him bleeding out to death. Braque swallowed thickly, scooting closer to Axel and looking down at him pensively. "...Fuck, fuck-- i-it`s fine, maybe the injuries are just too bad for the nanomachines... or--" That wasn`t a very convincing lie- they`d fixed worse wounds before. "...Uh... just-- Axel, stay awake, okay? Keep your eyes open... we won`t be out here long, just hold on--" He said, his words coated in a thin blanket of controlled panic as he moved both his hands over Axel`s wounds, putting pressure onto them in hopes of lessening the bleeding. He could only do this for so long, though... he felt obligated to keep Axel together and Inna`s nerves down- but the looming chance of Axel dying here was extremely jarring. He wished he could think clearer-- but thinking clearly was a right reserved for mentally stable people...

Axel didn´t seem to directly respond to what his siblings were telling him. In fact he didn´t seem in the right mind at all, likely because of the blood loss. The blonde slowly closed his eyes as Braque and Inna did their best to help him "I´m... still hungry..." he whimpered, before passing out from the blood loss. Axel laid there unmoving on the ground in critical condition.

While Braque tried to keep Axel from bleeding out, Inna sort of held the blonde's face, forcing his eyes open so he wouldn't pass out- then he passed out anyway. The Russian slapped her brother a few times, the desperation clear in her movements and face, but it was no use, he was out cold. They needed to get help, and they needed to get it soon. She looked up at Braque, her jaw clenched at the thought of Axel not making it, which was becoming a very likely possibility.

"I cannot seet here and do notheeng! Where are they?! I thought thees was legeet!"

She cried, frustrated, and got up on her feet. The blonde then picked her mask back up and started walking- she didn't know where she would find help, but she couldn't stand by and watch her brother bleed to death. She paced around the endless expanses of the desert, clearly leading her nowhere, and came across nothing more than more wet sand and desert plants. Trudging back to her brothers, she glared at the cactus, willing it to do something.
Inna's feeling of helplessness, the one that had started building inside of her the moment she had snapped out of the Killer Gene and heard Zombie's words, was coming to its pinnacle as she stood, uselessly staring at a fake cactus while Axel lay, dangerously wounded. The only thing she knew was that she couldn't let Axel die, but she couldn't stand seeing him in that state when there was nothing she could do, so she focused on the cactus- obsessively stabbing at the spaces between the thorns with her kukri, trying to get a reaction out of it.

"Braque... I need to do sometheeng!"

She groaned as she continued stabbing the cactus- that was something, right? Maybe the NOWHERE officers would realize there was someone there when their precious cactus got stabbed enough..

Braque`s pressure on Axel began to loosen as he watched the blonde slowly lose consciousness- he tried to not outwardly show his panic, instead slowly drawing his hands away and redirecting them over to Axel`s forearm. There was a pulse- and the steady rise and fall of his chest was indication enough that he would live. He was in critical condition-- but he was alive. They had time.
"It`s legit, Inna, it`s legit- calm the hell--" He didn`t ever think he of all people would be telling Inna of all people to relax, but that was certainly happening right now-- and seeing Inna distressed wasn`t doing much for his mental state either. "--down-!" He finished, just as she had begun to stab the cactus. Ignoring his own injuries, he reached up, managing to wrap his arms around her waist and tried to pull her away from the thing-- he didn`t know if it had been equipped with something dangerous, after all. Inna was not getting more hurt because of a fake cactus- no way. "You need to fucking wait is what you need to do--! You think Axel would want you getting more hurt trying to attack a fucking fake cactus, huh--?! You`re hurt, so stop!"

"At least Jasper`s familiar with the backseat, if ya know what I mean-- okshit stop here." Jo commanded as they neared where she knew the entrance to Nowhere was- she wanted to be sure he was parked somewhere not directly next to Nowhere, just in the case of someone trying to track them back here. Which she doubted would be a thing since they were coming from Biscuits and Porn... suspicious people totally didn`t hang out there... but still...
She hopped off the truck first, tugging out her hair out of it`s ponytail due to the rain- having it get knotted while it was all tied up would be unfun. She took one step in the base`s direction and ruffled her blue mane up somewhat, but once she had turned on her heel- the first thing she took notice of were the three people bleeding out at her doorstep. Well then.
"Oh fuck-" She muttered, picking up speed and dashing toward the Wolfpac- as she did so, her eyes darted toward the two bikes parked close by. She wasn`t sure if these guys were allies, or vigilantes or whatever... but she did not need three people dying in front of where she lived on her conscious, no matter who they were.
"RYDER, EAGLE- GRAB THE BIG GUY. JASPER, THE REDHEAD. FOLLOW ME." With a glance at Axel, it certainly looked like it would take the two strongest guys she had with her to so much as pick him up... That aside, she moved toward Inna, gazing over her wounds as she grabbed the blonde`s forearm and slung her arm over her own shoulder. With her free hand, she flipped the switch on the cactus, opening the entrance to Nowhere and quickly moved inside without another word.
From there, she sharply turned toward the med bay, trying to lift Inna best she could- and directed herself near the back of the room, where several pod-shaped machines were set up. They were Paladin technology, specialized containers that could heal grave injuries faster than most any doctor-- and Nowhere had secured about five, more than enough for the Wolfpac. Jo carried Inna into one, securing her inside before activating it. They`d have time to talk afterward, she assumed... And, obviously- she didn`t recognize Inna much at all. Not only for her mask, but because assuming everyone she came across was someone she knew was weird...

Eagle stopped the car and hopped out. He ran over to Axel, kneeling down. "Ryder, I think I can lift the brunt of him, just support the legs." he lifted Axel, barely, and saw the opened door. "Alright...slowly but surely...but we gotta fucking move...contradicting myself, anyway!" he was tying to follow Jo while doing this awkward 'wow this is heavy' shuffle as he went into NOWHERE to follow Jo down. Seeing as this was where he was going to be living for a while as well was pretty cool. Plus all the fucking Paladin tech was the most kick ass shit ever. He followed Jo and found the tank room. "This is some crazy shit...fuck..." he hoisted Axel into one of the bigger tubes, and activated it after securing him. "Wait...Jo...isn't that...? he walked over to Inna, and looked carefully. "Heeeey...I ran into these guys before...I KNEW IT...IT WAS INNA!"

As Ryder saw that it was raining when the truck came to a stop, once Jo hopped off his lap, he put his hood back up again—he was tired enough as it was today, he didn’t want to have to re-gel his hair, to be honest—He got out of the car, landing down on the sand, putting his hands in his pockets as he began to head forward—only to see Jo running. Although he furrowed his brow at first in confusion, it wasn’t long before he spotted the three collapsed in front of their cactus.
”The hell happened…?” he muttered as he rushed forward, hearing Jo’s order and skidding to a halt near Axel. He nodded to Eagle, helping the blonde lift Axel up and carry him inside. He was just hoping that he could keep a good grip on the guy with all of this blood everywhere…
Once they had finally placed the man into the pod, Ryder caught his breath, pulling off his hood, listening as Eagle seemed to…recognize one of them? And based off his words, Jo knew this woman, too…Ryder held back a sigh, feeling himself wither a bit as it became clear that yet another friend of Jo’s that he didn’t know had shown up. He was all for recruiting people, but he was very quickly beginning to feel like the odd guy out, here…At the very least, he was glad that they’d gotten there in time to help these people…

Inna only stopped stabbing the cactus when she felt Braque pulling her away from the fake plant. She glared at him indignantly for a second- how dare he take her away from the impossibly important task that was stabbing the cactus..? As the redhead spoke, however, her expression softened. Braque was looking out for her...and he was right. She was always the one that kept the cool head, it didn't make sense that she was getting to affected by this. The Russian made her mind up to take a few deep breaths and forget about the whole Zombie-almost-killing-her-family episode, as well as the Axel-might-actually-die-right-now thoughts. What was important now was keeping calm and making sure Braque would be alright... She let go of the kukri and leaned into the redhead's chest, exhausted.

"You are right... I just- I weell stop."

She mumbled with resignation and closed her eyes, hoping that the rain would cool down her thoughts as well as her body.
That's around the time that the Nowhere officers showed up. Inna tensed once more, for a second thinking that they were enemies, until she remembered what they were here for- right, they had a job. With Nowhere. Which she didn't want to take because...ah there, she could spot two heads of brightly colored hair- Jo and Ryder. As the group approached she recognized other familiar faces- Eagle, who she had seen earlier, and...did Jo call the other guy Jasper? This was too much- but in the state she was in, there wasn't much she could do when they started helping the Pac out. They needed their help if they were all going to survive.
Inna was hesitant to let the others take Braque and Axel, she wanted to be with them and make sure they were going to get proper treatment, but she didn't have the strength to resist as Jo took her inside and ordered the others to help her brothers. She was carried into the machine, trying to hold herself up as much as she could while nervously glancing back at Braque and Axel every few seconds, then the machine thing was closed and she felt a moment of desperation- she was trapped...away from the Pac. Sitting up, she almost started banging on the door to get out, but then she was actually being healed. That calmed her down...there were other machines, so that could only mean that the others would get help. Finally relaxing, Inna closed her eyes and let the machine do its work, actively pushing away the thoughts of her teammates in their crucial condition.

Jasper kept up with all of Jo's snide comments with little quips of his own, but the moment they pulled up in front of NOWHERE and realized there were people bleeding in front of the entrance, he paled. This... was great. He scrambled out of the truck as everyone else did, rushing over with a frown and a quick blink of surprise. Jo telling him to grab Braque surprised him... but he quickly moved to obey Jo's orders, at least until he recognized the male he was trying to lift. "... Goddamn it, you were fucking fine when I saw you last-" he muttered, struggling to lift Braque up enough and get him inside. He managed it, despite how much larger than him Braque was, lugging the male inside and into one of the healing tubes. "... Inna? Dude, you can't go assuming every white haired lady is Inna-" He frowned, moving to examine the girl from behind Jo.

Jo stared at Inna`s pod for a few extra seconds after having locked her in, watching as Braque and Axel were placed into their own pods as well. "...Should take a few minutes..." She murmured, mostly to herself as she stepped back and leaned against a nearby medical bed.
This was extremely concerning. Not the Wolfpac`s health-- but the situation in general. How had they found the place...? Had someone attacked them here, or had they been attacked and stumbled here afterward? If they were attacked outside, who found them and how? They were extremely important questions that she had to wait on answers for-- and the anxiety was causing her skin to turn clammy and her hands to shake uncontrollably as she cupped her chin with one. She shoved her hands into her pockets in an effort to hide the effect, looking at Ryder at the corner of her eye. "What do you think the odds of us relocating look like...?" Like hell she was letting her secret base become public knowledge again. No, she learned better last time- it was not happening again. Too much time and effort and value was placed in Nowhere to have it be jeopardized now...
Before she could get an answer, Eagle announced that the blonde woman she had carried inside was in fact, Inna. "Who?" Jo raised one eyebrow, teetering closer to Inna`s pod to get a slightly closer look in consideration-- but Jasper`s comment had her shaking her head and stepping away again. "Yeah, boob-face-- ...er, Inna- didn`t have scars like that... this one doesn`t even look like her..." The bluenette moved off the bed she was leaning against to move closer to Ryder and grab up his hand in her`s, having sensed him doing a thing with his emotions again. She didn`t want him to feel left out... this was their organization first and foremost, nothing was gonna change that...
"Um--" Jo looked back up at Eagle and Jasper, having just remembered that Jasper hadn`t even been there when they were at the Cathedral... he was probably gonna be a bit lost- and neither of them probably even knew who Cain was. This was gonna be awkward... "I can show you guys around when we have a second... we have spare rooms and stuff, don`t worry about it--" She said, "I`ll explain what`s up a little better once this is out of the way... but we need to move out real soon." She looked to the pods the Wolfpac were in to indcate that they were the 'this' she was referring to. She tightened her hold on Ryder`s hand slightly, and let her head rest on his shoulder- she could go back to being professional and scary once the Pac came out of the pods, yeah...

Eagle took a closer look at the woman. He recognized them from the bar, where he was getting drunk. That red head was being friendly toward him, the tall guy was weird, and then she was being dodgy. He knew it was her, but...the scars were a bit...disconcerting. "Maybe you guys are right...maybe it's not her...but if it IS, then I totally owned all of you, and you owe be a fucking beer!" he said, and then listened to Jo talk about a tour later on. "Love to see the new digs, but we gotta do that thing with the journal right?" he looked at the pods again, and then walked over to Jasper. "Yo, so, you know where Lukas is?" he asked, wondering himself. It had been a few days since Lukas contacted them. He assumed he was having one of his, 'life is horrible' moments, but he would never go on for this long. "Think we should find him soon?"

Ryder stood by as the others spoke--it didn't seem like Jo or Jasper believed that this woman was Inna, whoever that was...As Jo came over and took his hand, her intertwined his fingers with hers, giving her a reassuring smile--he'd seen her hands shaking earlier.
"Yeah, Kraven's troops are probably waiting for us already..." Ryder murmured as he stood with Jo, thinking over what they were bound to do right now. They had to get themselves ready and get over to Skull's Pass...still, they had to wait for these people they had found to heal, first. As Jo rested her head on his shoulder, Ryder looked down to her and asked quietly, "Are you feeling okay...?" He paused for a moment, then considered her question from earlier. "Here's hoping we don't need to relocate--we just finshed putting the addition onto the second floor--" Ryder felt pretty worried about everyone knowing the location of their base magically--was the cactus too obvious? He had thought it looked pretty realistic...

Jasper stepped back a little after examining the three people, sticking his hands in his pockets quietly. He felt... weird, being there. He hadn't seen Jo in five years- had assumed she was dead for most of that. But now she was standing in front of him alive and well, with her boyfriend standing beside her like an angry little dog ready to bite his ankles at the slightest reason.
... Okay, Ryder was a bit more threatening than a little dog. But he didn't want to admit that to himself. He sighed a little, looking down at the ground. Everything felt so awkward- he didn't feel... welcome, there. As if the majority of the three conscious people... were strangers. He tuned out most of what they were saying, gazing down at the floor and his shoes silently- but as Jo spoke up, and was rather blatantly addressing him and Eagle, he looked up. He listened quietly, frowning some for mention of spare rooms and moving out. It... didn't quite make sense- but Jo apparently knew that. He nodded silently for her words, tucking his hands into his pockets before blinking as Eagle addressed him. "Ah... I could go look for him now, if you're worried. I don't have anything better to do than go crash at my shop and I don't feel up to that right now- sounds like you're needed here, but I'm..." He smiled wryly, not finishing the sentence. "I could check out a few places-"

"We have SO MUCH alcohol in the base right now- I don`t even need to owe you a beer, just take one-" With all the ruts Jo had been in an out of for the past five years-- you better believe Nowhere was stocked to the ceiling in alcohol. Now that she had been reminded of the fact, she used her hand that wasn`t holding Ryder`s to reach for her back pocket to pull out a flask. A rather dated, Victorian-styled and expensive looking flask, with the name 'Charles Paladin' engraved at the top in very refined letters-- she tilted her head back and took a long swig of it`s contents, staring neutrally at the pods afterward as she considered Ryder`s question. She held the liquid in her mouth for a few extra seconds before swallowing, and tightening the lid back onto the flask. "...I guess so." She answered flatly, cuddling a bit more onto his shoulder, and nodding as he mentioned what a shame it`d be to have to move now. The base was a recent addition to Nowhere`s credibility of a faction... and Jo was not only immensely proud of it, but she had grown quite attached to it already-- it would suck to have to move, but the risk was pretty great... "...Yeah... we`ll see what these guys have to say before making any big decisions, I guess... just something to keep in mind- this place is not becoming Carrion Land 2.0, man." She wanted to be sure her reasoning was pretty clear- she`d lost so many irreplaceable things and people in Carrion Land... she almost went back to No Man`s Land for them, until Ryder had let her known that everything went up in flames. Elliot included.
Jo took another longer swig of her flask, stopping only when the name 'Lukas' was thrown around. "H-Hm--?" She put the thing down, and wiped her mouth with the length of her arm. "I knew the other guy was a Task Force guy--" Jo stopped herself as Jasper did the angst thing, earning a stern look of disapproval from Jo, and from Eagle as the blonde snapped back with an answer. She did take a moment to throw in a comment, especially as Eagle mentioned the kiss from earlier-- "Haha--! Your tongue touched Jasper`s tongue and Jasper`s tongue has probably touched a schelong--! You`re gayyyy--!!" She declared, somewhat loudly- "And, yeah- I need answers from these guys. We`ll move soon." That reminded her that she probably needed to patch herself up from the Tombstone fight- so she regretfully separated herself from Ryder and moved toward one of the cabinets, removing some gauze and disinfectant to begin to treat herself- namely the three large and deep slashes on her back that she had earned talking to Eagle. "And, Jasper, I`m pretty sure I can`t make it more clear--...uh... ehch... brooche- deech hier, ja--?" Smile had been mentioned and German was the first thing to come to mind, plus she already knew Jasper was fluent-- so why not, she was in the mood--

Ryder gave Jo a bit of a worried look as she took out the flask of alcohol—just like his smoking habit, he knew that Jo had her own little ways of showing that she was upset—and she had already seemed a bit down in the dumps a few seconds ago, so…
As she went on to say that she didn’t want Nowhere becoming a second Carrion Land, Ryder nodded knowingly. The entrance of that place had gotten blown up far too many times to count—and he felt similar in the way that he really didn’t want people constantly blowing this place open if it got discovered. She took another drink, and when the new name was thrown into the conversation, along with said person being another member of the task force, Ryder took on a bit more of a concerned expression, his brow furrowing further. He really wasn’t too keen on the idea of this faction becoming ‘Task Force 0 and Ryder.’ But either way, the more people they had, the better…
But then came Jo’s schelong comment—either she was feeling better, or pretending to. Ryder willingly let go of Jo as she went to patch herself up, his eyebrows flying up slightly as he remembered her injuries. How had he forgotten about that—? Now he just felt stupid—
He stayed where he was, trying to think of something nice to say to add onto the conversation—but honestly, right now he was feeling awkward. He could tell that Jasper wasn’t exactly feeling this either—so maybe their concerns were just a mutual nervousness and miscommunication? Ryder knew he was going to have to come to get along with this guy sometime—so now wouldn’t be such a horrible time to start…but he had no idea what to say. He looked away quickly, frustrated with his own lack of ideas. So, he sort of just…stood there.

After a while, the Paladin healing tech thing beeped and opened, and Inna came out immediately. Grasping the sides of the opening, she looked around at the surroundings as if she was trying to memorize every detail, poised to attack at the first sign of something that didn't seem quite right. She slowly relaxed as she heard familiar voices some way off- okay, these were probably the people she thought they were. Her bigger concern now was finding Axel and Braque.

"Axel, Braque-!"

She whisper-called, looking inside of the healing pods beside hers to check on her brothers' progress. Before she could even begin confronting NOWHERE and its officers, which was gonna be a bigger problem than she had imagined, since it was difficult enough to come to terms with the idea that she would be having to deal with Jo, but now it turned out basically all of the Suicide Squad (not literally, but you get it) had decided to join up.

Beep. Beep. Beep. The healing pod began to make some noise as Inna so much as looked at it. The machine opened up as Axel popped out from it, landing on his knees and hands. He began to breathe heavily "W-what...?" he muttered, placing a hand on his chest. His nanomachines were working again... he could feel it in his chest. They must have had trouble rebooting. The man shook his head and got up on his feet, looking very, VERY angry. The man let out a primal yell before tightening his hands into fists "RRRAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHH! NOBODY HURTS MY SIBLINGS!" he yelled, ready to break some fucking necks as he hunched his back, taking some sort of defensive stance.

He groaned, bringing a hand to wring through his flat, but still fiery hair- he hadn`t bled out as much as Axel thanks to the large amount of cybernetics on his body... he could still tell the machine had done him some good though, as he took a moment to stretch before jolting in alert as he heard Axel`s roar not far from him. "Hey, Axel--! Chill the fuck out you retarded pectoral muscle--!" He called over, tugging his coat over himself a little- he could only guess his employers were in the next room over... man, what an introduction-

Jasper scowled as Eagle spoke up, glaring at him quietly as he spoke. He didn't even try to interrupt- just let him speak, waiting until he was done to sigh heavily. "Whatever," he mumbled under his breath, clearly not fully believing the other. He let them all talk, his arms crossed and his eyes focused on the floor. If he wasn't half sure he'd be followed... he'd have left. But at least someone in that room felt the need to try and convince him they actually cared... "Probably...? I have- not trying to deny it-" he muttered, before sighing and moving to look at Jo's injuries. He only took about a step closer, before backing up again- and frowning for her broken German words. "... 'Ich brauche dich hier?'... Bien sûr vous le faites. Personne n'a besoin de moi, Jo. Je ne peux rien faire pour vous, ou pour ce groupe. La seule façon que je suis peut-être utile est si je fais du travail de mécanicien pour vous et il ya beaucoup de la mécanique dans le monde..." She was about to hop off the counter to chase him down- when the sound of all three pods opening at once caught her attention. Followed by one loud, ferocious yell that had her quick on her feet, pulling Hopebringer into her hand as an automatic response. "Once of you two grab Jasper- don`t let him leave." She firmly ordered both Ryder and Eagle, uncaring as to which followed him. She walked by them both and into the rooms with the pod- properly enunciating her entrance by firing off at the ceiling once. A large gunshot noise rang threw the air, and she blew the tip of her firearm afterward, her gaze leveled on the Wolfpac with fierce focus and a very slight smirk. "Glad to see you awake..." She greeted, keeping the gun firm in her hand, and her guard fully up- even as she leaned against the doorframe, seemingly relaxed. "You can call me Queen Calamity- can I get some names...?"
