Nothing ever happens in San Guano, Mexico.
It was always been just a tiny little village with nothing of merit but its Agave. Located in the middle of nowhere, San Guano has just as many people as it has chickens. It also happens to be the link between the realm of the living and dead. For countless milennia, both the Realm of the Living and the Realm of the Remembered have stayed separate with the exception of El Dia de los Muertos. But recently, the natural order has been disrupted in the Land of the Dead. A departed soul by the name of Mil Muertes staged a coup in the Land of the Remembered. His greed knows no bounds, as he intends to take over both the Land of the Remembered and the Land of the Living. And as El Dia de los Muertos approaches, he intends to merge both realms and rule them both. The two worlds combine on today, El Dia de los Muertos, as the streets are bustling with plans of festivals and fun- but unbeknownst to the living, a dark shadow looms over San Guano as Mil Muertes plots to put his plan into action.
The forces of good and evil will now gather to determine the fate of two worlds...

uno;; if you mention or reference mucha lucha in regards to this rp you will be permanently banned from newts. thats very gringo of you and i personally perceive it as a racist and demeaning remark.
dos;; please do not take more than two roles!! we only have ten to begin with, after all. though if you`re interested in joining and don't see a role you like, feel free to talk to me or pan about it.
thres;; keep your characters relevant to the setting. that being said, the rp takes place in mexico........and is based off mexican mythos........and has all mexican themes and inspirations.......u see where I'm going w dis ur characters shouldn't be german or japanese or some shit alight.
cuatro;; be polite and courteous to other rpers. no ooc drama, and don`t be afraid to plan and be friendly.
cinco;; all the basic rules apply! no godmodding, autohitting, killing w/ permission, etc etc etc. you guys know the drill.
disregarding the rules can result in banning from the rp.

Only four roles are gender locked! That is the Luchador and The Lord of the Dead as a male, and the Luchadora and Sorceress as female. The rest can be either or neither or both, the choice is up to the rper!

He is the son of a farmer, and his life plans involve taking over the agave farm once his father passes. However, the stars are aligned and the stage is set for a story that will change him forever...
The Luchadora | taken by Emu Queen
The heroine of our story. An experienced lucha libre star- who, in the past, lost herself in bottles of tequila and a swirling darkness that engulfed her mind. Now, with the power she has gained from her mask and her newfound confidence, she fights for women everywhere who need the inspiration she provides them with.
The Trainer | taken by The Amazing Pan Sensei
A great trainer that has built generations upon generations of the greatest heroes the world has ever seen. However, every hero meets it`s end- and every hero he trains happens to meet it early. Devastated by death after death, this master has decided to retire early. However, with the recent machinations of The Lord of the Dead, he may be open to taking in more proteges, as the world may as well depend on his willingness to do so.
The Descendent | Mocha
Born and raised on the streets, the Descendant grew up in a rough neighborhood, but the trials of the city has only hardened and smartened this warrior. They compete in underground street fights for a living, and the very mention of their name strikes fear into their competitors. However, unbeknownst to them, they are the successor of ancient Aztec tribes, a great legacy to uphold upon their shoulders. A destiny has been spelled out for them, they just don`t know it yet.
Los Rudos

Here he is- the dastardly man who is the very cause of the turmoil the world has been thrown into. He is the lone ruler of the Land of the Remembered, and since his rule began, the denizens of the once peaceful land have been dreadfully unhappy. However, legend has it that it wasn`t always this way. Upon arriving to the Land of the Remembered he was but an underling to the former ruler, El Diablo, but his greed knew no bounds. He challenged El Diablo to a bet in which if he was the victor, El Diablo would be forced to hand his rule over. Through way of cheating, the new Lord was victorious, and now holds the Land of the Remembered in his clutches. But, again, his greed knows no bounds. He seeds to expand onto the Land of the Living- and because of him, both lands are in horrible jeopardy. Will our heroes be able to put a stop to his plans and save the lives of those in the present, as well as those in the past? Or will both lands suffer under his rule?
The Sorceress | taken by Emu Queen
A beautiful but evil temptress with powers from beyond this dimension. Since the beginning of time, she has served alongside the ruler of the Land of the Dead as their advisor, at times sneakily disposing of former rulers. She is a formidable necromancer, known for plaguing the Land of the Living for her own amusement many times. She just may be able to match the Lord of the Dead in wickedness, but instead of being driven by greed, she`s driven by nothing but malice for everything around her.
The Chupacabra | open
A beast of legend. Known for it`s dangerous habit of systematically sucking the blood out of it`s victims (and goats for whatever reason), the Chupacabra is the stuff of nightmares. The Chupacabra is an inhabitant of the Land of the Remembered, and began working for the Lord of the Dead for its own reasons.
The Arms Dealer | akikazemoon
This person is dirtier than dirt, as sleazy as they come. They`d sell their mother for the right price, which is why they had no qualms with selling the Land of the Living for a small fortune. A powerful individual with connections to the cartels, and now they have connections with Mil Muertes himself. Currently manipulating The Punk to work for the Lord of the Dead.
The Conquistador | open
They have lived on this Earth for hundreds of years, The Conquistador pillaged the New World of its riches and land for their own greed. They were once a collector of many treasures, but they all paled in comparison to the most glorious treasure of all: immortality. Having drunken from the Fountain of Youth, The Conquistador is eternally young. And now, they have made a deal with death itself to ensure their continuing existence. The Conquistador's greed knows no bounds, as they have a disease of the heart, that only gold can cure!
The Punk * | Manchee
A degenerate, a street urchin, a straight up gangster with a shady past and even shadier present. They follow no man`s rules, and do and say whatever they want, whenever they want. However, beneath their rough and tumble exterior lies a hero`s heart of gold. Somehow, their good will has landed them on the side of the Lord of the Dead, ignorant to the destruction at hand... perhaps they could be swayed to the side of our heroes?
