Description: Following their defeats at The Crater and Baker Street, Conqueror Worm had returned to their Palace. Mostly wounded and beaten, Conqueror Worm was not ready for another battle. Unfortunately men rarely get to pick their own battles, and only hours after their losses, Hannibal Krieg and about 80 drugged-out "supersoldiers". Hannibal Krieg had betrayed Conqueror Worm, and with an army under his control, he began to destroyed the Palace and slaughter anyone in his way. If not for the appearance of Kraven's Deathworshippers then Conqueror Worm would have likely been wiped out. The battle lasted overnight until it became June 5th, every officer in Conqueror Worm had left save for Jade Fenton, Chef, and Kraven. In the battle, Hannibal Krieg was supposedly killed by Kraven, as was Lucius, his Lt., but Jade. There are rumors of a mysterious dark-skinned man known as "Cao" appearing during the battle, but such rumors are not proven. All that is known is that Conqueror Worm claimed that the culprits behind the attack were dealt with. While not a real clear victory, Conqueror Worm's actions here softened the blows they suffered earlier. With this battle, The Gauntlet was over.
