Titles are a second category to which characters are aligned, as opposed to factions. While factions class characters by the groups in which they operate, titles class characters by how they're known within the setting, or in loose groups such as the Ranked Assassins or Ex-Vulture Team Members.

Title Type: Former Occupation
Description: Super Criminals currently operating that used to be within the Vulture Team faction. Vulture Team was originally created in No Man's Land by Josephine Beaumont to hunt down and eliminate the Super Criminal known as Jade Fentom. They eventually expanded past their initial goal to become a massive criminal organization tasked with keeping order within No Man's Land. They fought many enemies in their tenures, including The Inquisitor, Kraven, Black Dragon, The Family, and even Paladin Industries, however they operated for only a little over a year. Despite the short tenure of the faction, it is considered one of the most influential Super Criminal organizations in history, one that is indirectly a cause of the Golden Age of crime.

-The Ranked Assassins-
Title Type: Organized Rankings
Description: The World Assassin Rankings is a system organized post-Cataclysm to keep track of the world's most effective and deadly killers. Despite using the word "assassin", the term really just applies to anybody who makes a career out of taking lives. Entering the Ranked Assassins almost automatically gives you world renown, every kill you make is documented and publicly announced. The public follows the exploits of the Ranked Assassins as if they were celebrities. To enter the rankings, you must kill somebody that holds that rank. If somebody in the rankings moves up by killing somebody higher in the rankings, then the vacant slot will be filled by the assassin under it. If the 8th ranked assassin kills the 7th, thus becoming the 7th ranked assassin, then the 9th ranked assassin will automatically become the new 8th ranked assassin. The higher up you are on the list, the more famous you become, the more jobs you get, the more money you get, thus, the ranked assassins are constantly at odds with each other to reach 1st rank. However, as of late, this has changed as Ashley Kims became the 1st Ranked Assassin. With most of upper-tier Ranked Assassins being other members of the MSF, it appears Ashley's tenure as the 1st Ranked Assassin may go on for some time now...

Title Type: Former Occupation
Description: Task Force 0, otherwise known as The Suicide Squad, was a special operations unit made up of Super Criminals that Charles Paladin gathered to operate in missions within No Man's Land that not even Paladin's special operations unit could not handle. Led by former Vulture Team leader and special operations agent Josephine Beaumont, they would take part in several missions which would grow Paladin's influence within the city. After The Mistress was eliminated however, Charles would turn his back on the unit. Ironically, it would be the Suicide Squad that would defeat Charles in the end, ensuring that his plans to wipe out most of humanity would fail.

Description: There was Vulture Team, and then there was Conqueror Worm. These two factions would be engaged in a bloody gang war within No Man's Land that would change history. Lead first by Jade Fentom, and then Yuri Dragovich, Conqueror Worm has always existed in a thorn in Vulture Team's side. While it fell victim to the machinations of The Trust (twice), its lineage was continued by other factions, particularly The Deathworshippers then the Ministry of Death.

Once, he was an assassin with a cult, after he took Conqueror Worm's legacy for his own, he became the monster that the world would fear. The Dark Heirs are the children of either Yuri Dragovich or Catherine Repzalina, and those next in line to inherit Conqueror Worm's lineage. Kraven plans for one of them to one day inherit his criminal empire and continue the movement started by Conqueror Worm. However, only one of the Dark Heirs can continue the legacy. As such, they are destined to one day do battle with each other, whether they want to or not...

-The Trust-
Title Type: Secret Society
Description: The Trust was a secret society created by The Mistress in the late 1800s, tasked with regulating the world and eliminating evil itself from humanity. They were to accomplish this using Heavenly Treasure, a machine with the ability to manipulate all human thought using psychics. Using the machine, they created a brutal world-wide regime known as "The Unlce Sam Regime", put in place by controlling humanity's thoughts. Eventually they were manipulated by Red Masque into using Heavenly Treasure to undo this mind control, causing The Cataclysm. After this action, half the world's population was dead, as most of mankind could not use their newfound freedom well, creating an age ruled by criminals. Since then, The Trust had been working to undo the damage caused by The Cataclysm. After the betrayal of CP-02, The Trust was reformed into The New Trust. The New Trust would eventually fall apart as well, and CP-02 would be destroyed, putting an end to The Trust once and for all.

Title Type: Super Criminal Type
Description: Within the Super Criminal community, there are those who are tasked with coming up with heists, organizing plans for their factions, and generally being the brains behind the operation. They can be the leaders of the organization, though that is not always the case. Masterminds usually don't fight head on, instead choosing to organize a faction's footmen and help lead their forces in times of war between the Super Criminal factions. The first and possibly the most infamous amongst them is The Inquisitor, however there are several throughout the world that have surpassed him in his achievements.

Title Type: Designation
Description: "Special Level" Threat Rating Super Criminals are those who do not fit into the "D-A" level of Threat Ratings that categorize 98% of all Super Criminals. This includes anyone from the Threat Rating of S to EX. Said Super Criminals are the most wanted individuals in the world, and are wanted not only in Paladin territory, but all over the world. To fall into this ranking, one would need to commit a truly atrocious act. Their faces are usually well known to the public, though the public's reaction largely depends on the individual and the masses. Super Criminals like Father Death and Cain are well liked in areas with high populations of their followers, while Super Criminals like Queen Calamity are almost universally hated for the eradication of entire countries.
