Result: Kraven is resurrected. The Family, Paladin, and Black Dragon's standoff results in all three factions retreating. Paladin Industries and Vulture Team form an alliance.

Description: Whilst the battle at the Kingpin's Mansion is believe to be the beginning of the Great Crime War, another skirmish only but a few blocks away from Highend was also igniting the flames of war. Prior to either of these battles, the Inquisitor and Patriots factions were causing chaos throughout the city, confronting both Vulture Team and Paladin Industries many times. The hostilities only exploded when news spread that the Neo-Inquisitor Faction sought out to revive the infamous super criminal, Father Death. This immediately resulted in both Paladin and Vulture Team sending officers into their enemies' base of operations, the Playboy Mansion. Both teams were instructed to operate under stealthy circumstances. Both team managed to stay under the radar for about thirty minutes before all-out battle broke out within the mansion. In particular, the faction leaders of both The Neo-Inquisitor Faction and The Patriots saw combat. Despite a whole-hearted attempt to prevent the revival of Kraven, the super criminal was indeed brought back. Kraven, also known as Father Death, real name Yuri Dragovich, was the super criminal responsible what is now known as the Kraven Incident. After taking over the city, Kraven managed to use nuclear powered' cybernetics to devastate San Francisco and Chicago, killing millions. He was thought to have been killed by Ryder Mercy in the incident, and yet on February 11th at exactly midnight, Kraven seemingly returned from the grave to make an announcement to the world. Filmed live, Kraven addressed the world, announcing his return and that he'd wage a crusade against the world. Following this announcement, crime increased world-wide. After the Kraven Incident, Kraven's return brought out mass hysteria.

Father Death, now genetically modified using a concoction known as the "Paragon Serum", displayed almost superhuman level fighting abilities upon his confrontation with both Vulture Team and Task Force 0. When it seemed like a long fight with Kraven would be ahead of them, Charles Paladin suddenly arrived with more agents of Task Force 0 and an army at his stead. When it became apparent that this small skirmish would evolve into a full-on battle like what had happened in Highend, The Neo-Inquisitor Faction's and Patriots' footmen stood united, now as the Deathworshippers, to do combat with the guards of No Man's Land. It seemed like a massive battle would break out, only for the situation to escalate further. The Mistress, her Black Dragon Clan, and nearly an army of Black Dragon agents by her side took to the battlefield, surrounding the Playboy Mansion just as Paladin did. And just as the situation seemed to be at the breaking point, Eve Falcone arrived with The Family, ready after their pyrrhic victory in Highend to prove themselves. In a matter of minutes, four armies began to gather around the Playboy Mansion, and a battle not unlike that in Highend would erupt. However, with five of the factions' leaders on the battlefield, it would be clear that the damage done in this battle would be irredeemable. Chances were several of the factions' leaders would perish in battle and the victorious party would emerge the victors of a war that only just started. With so much on the table, but with little to no preparation, Charles Paladin decided to speak out to the opposing factions. He suggested to Black Dragon and The Family that they all retreat and save such a showdown for another day, fully aware of what was at stake in the battle. It was clear to Paladin and The Family that after the losses at Highend, they couldn't afford to lose another battle, and The Mistress seemed to have her own plans for Black Dragon. In the end, the opposing armies agreed to retreat, much to the chagrin of Kraven and his Deathworshippers.

The Confrontation at the Playboy Mansion almost became the battle that would escalated the Great Crime War to a new level. However, it was clear none of the factions but the Deathworshippers were eager for a new level of hostilities. The Ranked Assassins, Task Force 0, The Boss of Vulture Team and his two highest ranked captains, Charles Paladin, Eve Falcone, The Mistress, the leader of the Black Dragon Clan, it was clear that if this battle was waged, important people would die. Their refusal to commit to this battle lead to the Great Crime War being stretched out longer, and thus the stage was set for a conflict that would engulf the city. Another important effect of this confrontation is an alliance between Vulture Team and Paladin Industries. Both factions considered each other the lesser evil in this conflict, and while there was no friendship between the factions, their goals to uphold order in No Man's Land lead to a quick alliance. Only time would tell how this alliance would play out. As previously mentioned, Kraven's speech to the world, broadcasted thanks to The Patriots' help. This resulted in a new wave of crime world-wide and further served to stain Paladin Industries' reputation. After 20 years of licking its wounds Post-Cataclysm, the world was finally beginning to enter a new era. Whether this was for better or worse would be decided in the subsequent month.
