It was a seemingly perfectly normal day--nothing strange was happening--nothing at all, really! Everything was at peace down at the edge of the territory of the Golgari Swarm, where a little farm was situated, protected by wards so that it wouldn't be found--for, you see, it was quite the special farm. Everything seemed like any other day...
Until a quiet rumble began to sound throughout the area. At first, it wasn't quite clear where it was coming from--but if anyone on the farm looked up to the top of the hill that the farm was situated near...then they would see the source. Literally rolling down the hill was a stone-and-vine behemoth--some sort of large elemental creature. It seemed to have lost its footing somewhere along the way of its journeys.
Either way--the elemental thundered down the hill, rolling over and over and over, unable to stop itself--as it just barely missed the farm, sliding to a halt on the now flat ground and leaving a bit of a crater-trail behind it. The creature still seemed to be alive--but it seemed like it wouldn't be standing up anytime soon. It was such a strange occurrence, though...these creatures were mostly seen around the Selesnya Conclave's territory...would anybody on the farm go to investigate the creature...?

Arrissa was having a nice day on her secret farm that she hid from the under city. she loved tending to her grapes and eating real food that wasn't rot and drinking the fruits of her labor the wine she made. She came here most day to get her mind off of her daily duties with her pet Vorapede Muffin one of the few things good to come from her powers she thought, when right as she began petting Muffin something huge and loud came tumbling down from nowhere barely missing her protective barriers that kept her farm hidden. Now Arrissa was curious and a little pissed, nothing fun ever happened here this could be good so she went to check it out and found a huge risen sanctuary funny that shouldn't be here i wonder whats inside so she started to find an entrance and Muffin on the other hand just zipped up and started crawling all over the thing. Haha i found an entrance now to see whats inside she started to walk in the risen sanctuary and as she did all she heard was birds hundreds and hundreds of birds.. screaming

Yes--there were birds. Screeching. Lots and lots of birds, flying everywhere, screeching their beaks off after having been startled by the tumble. And out of the mass of birds stepped a figure, who seemed to be trying to soothe the avians somewhat. The young man in question seemed a bit out of sorts--maybe even a little bit dizzy--probably due to having been inside a giant living temple that had just rolled down a huge hill.
"Yes, yes, I know that it was a long fall, but it's no reason to be up in a tizzy for this long--" Gaius stopped short though when he saw somebody else in his entrance hall. He kind of stared at the girl for a moment, staring at her--before he sort of just turned right around and ran right back deeper into the temple. He had reason to be worried after all--the girl was obviously from Golgari, and the Golgari were the Selesnyans' enemies...!

Meanwhile, up in the Overcity--it was a bright, sunny, lively day! People were milling about, talking, buying things in the market, all manner of things! Felix was off-duty at the moment--this was his one off-day. But still, he felt that it was his duty to protect everyone--so he was still scanning the streets for any pick-pockets or other such rapscallions. He wanted to make sure that all of the good people here could enjoy their day in peace, after all! Still...he kind of didn't realize how much he stuck out walking around in full armor...even on an off day...

Arrissa saw and heard the figure soothing the birds but when she raised her hand to say hello he had run away That is not very nice I just wanna say hello she yelled after the figure then she had an idea muffin play fetch she yelled to the large bug and then realized she wanted to run after the figure as well. This was intriguing nothing ever happened in the under city and she didn't want to hurt this person she just wanted one friend who wouldn't judge her for being a half breed or what others called her a monster. so with that in mind she ran after the figure yelling Wait I'm not going to hurt you I ...I just want a friend as she ran her hair bit fervently around trying to catch birds but she didn't notice that her hair was hungry this was the most fun she had had in years

Well, the girl WAS shouting about just wanting a friend...maybe she wasn't that bad...
Gaius turned to look for a moment--and paled visibly. All he saw was a scary centipede the size of a small horse running at him, along with a young girl with hair that was actually snakes--and those snakes were eating his birds.
"Sorry to disappoint you but I kind of have reason to not believe you when you're being this terrifying--!" Gaius just kept on running through the rooms of the spacious, airy temple--all of the birds flying around up to the ceiling to get away from the snake hair, and squawking their beaks off...still...

Gaius came to a stop a fair distance away from Arrissa, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion as he looked back at the girl as she cried. This was definitely the weirdest day of his life that he could remember...though he really couldn't remember much. More like--just a month or two. But oh well. He crossed his arms, deliberating for a moment before he called over to her,
"...If I'm your friend, do you promise to stop chasing me around and eating my birds...?" Gaius sighed, trying to make sense of the situation. "What does somebody from Golgari want to make friends with a Selesnyan for, anyway...?"

Arrissa saw the man come and ponder her proposal of friendship so she loosened muffins grip hug on her to look up to the man and give him a small smile, she was taken aback by his last comment not just because she had no friends but because he didn't even know her how could he judge her she was a very nice funny person muffin seemed to think so I have no friends in the Golgari... they find me disgusting I'm a monster she grabbed muffin and wrapped him around her even tighter and she started to cry buckets saying Im a monster !!!!! she hated her life she had no friends and even this complete stranger thought she was wait did you say friends? she got up and gave the man a huge hug I have a friend ... my first friend ...AHHHH im so sorry my hair has a mind of its own pulling her hair off the mans neck and arms and blushing in embarrassment Oh did you know you almost crushed my farm with your house?

"Oh my..I'm not dead...I can do this!" she said. She popped her upper half out of the water, and swam toward the side. Before she did, she looked over back at the lake. "I'll make you proud Nameless..." she said, and got out. Soon, she transformed, her fin becoming human legs, and herself becoming more human. She looked like a full fledged human now. She looked at herself in awe. "Wow...I'm a huamn! This is so different!" she tried walking, but failed a bit, falling on her face. "Owwie...ahhhhh..." she nearly started to cry, but quickly stopped. "No...I'm not crying...*sniffle* No more crying *sniffle*." she decided to practice walking before leaving the lakeside.◤

Jask was driving around on his the VRmk2 for a while through the science district he came and did laps around the pools in the combine it was fun zooming around watching the water ripple at high speeds especially... What were the original makers of the Volatile Rig Mark 1, Jask's car didn't go nearly as fast as it did now before he modified it, he also disliked the word Volatile, it fit the machine considering its nature but Jask more over looked on the Volatile Rig Mark 2 (VRmk2) volatility more as it being... pleasantly unpredictable.... Then Jask noticed an odd looking Boros Legionare walkin by one of the merfolk pools... Jask pulled up beside him. Eh Mon, wha' are ya doin' in the science distric'. No' many of the Boros brotha's be comin' ta these parts to often now do ya'?... Jask looked around and saw that this legionnaire had no one with him... Aye Mon you wouldn' be missin' part of ya crew now would ya'? Ya look a we bi' los' mon.

Adara Hunter and her bodyguard, Edwin Nightshade, walked along the path from the under city. She sighed. Her guild had sent her to resolve a conflict that had lasted a week longer than promised. She normally didn't mind negotiations taking longer than planned. Different types of people were different after all. But because of the delay, She and Edwin hadn't been able to visit his relatives. A move she was beginning to suspect was intentional on Azorus's part. She knew they were aware of how unhappy she was. Many still didn't consider this a serious problem in the slightest but others did. So as of late Adara found she had more work than usual. She thanked the stars Edwin was a devoted as he was. She smiled at her friend who returned it in his own quiet manner.
We should find shelter in the nearest town, Lady Adara.
"I believe there was a town a few miles away. There were very nice inns last time we stopped there for business."
Then the both of them heard a loud noise off in the distance. Both of them looked at each other and continued heading towards town eventually seeing pools up ahead. Adara smiled and ran ahead to the pools, knowing Edwin would follow. Despite being much older than her appearance let on, Adara could still be childish at times and water particularly held fond memories for her, of time before the courts held her and Clara in their grasp, when they actually considered themselves sisters . She stood by the edges of the pool and saw a head pop up. She stepped back a few inches in surprise. Edwin reached for his sword, reflexively . She placed her hand on his and nodded.
No, we're safe. Wait until we're sure that we are in danger.
Edwin looked at his Lady, in a very frustrated manner. He adored Adara for her kindness, among other things but he was in no going to let merciful notions get her killed. He thoughts then stopped right in their tracks when she froze him with a kiss and pointed.
"Look, we are safe."
Edwin looked before them appeared a mermaid. His grip relaxed momentarily and he watched the waters along with his lady.

Both Adara and Edwin watched the mermaid rise out of the water and begin to walk. Adara couldn't help but rush forward when she saw the mermaid fall. Edwin stayed where he was ready to strike should the situation call for it.
"Are you alright, Ma'm?"

Oona felt something stop her from falling, and saw something catch her. She started to process this...
"WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" she yelled and pushed away, sending her on the floor. "Who are you?! WHO ARE YOU!?" she yelled. "Abandon Ship! Abandon Ship!" she jumped back into pool. She swam down a bit, transforming back.

Gaius recoiled slightly when the young girl suddenly tackled him in a hug, and then felt all of her tiny snake-hairs latch onto him--but it didn't hurt that much, right? Just a pinch--kind of--but luckily, she quickly then removed the snakes, so that was an upside.
"Ah--er--yes, of course we can be friends! Honestly, I'm kind of surprised that someone of Golgari is showing me kindness--and oh. Did I? You see--Orion--kind of tripped--We were trying to remove ourselves from on top of a rabbit warren, and well--Orion is just a tad bit on the clumsy side." Gaius gave an embarrassed chuckle and a slight shrug before looking up to the ceiling above and calling. "Orion, do apologize, alright?" Upon that, there came an awkward sounding apologetic groan reverberating through the structure as the elemental gave his apologies to Arrissa for nearly crushing her farm. "There we go--well, now that that's taken care of--what's your name?"

Suffice to say, Felix was quite surprised to see the very visage of Niv Mizzet himself pull up beside him in a volatile rig--but it didn't take long for him to realize that this wasn't in fact the Izzet leader, but rather, some other sort of dragon. With a very difficult to understand accent--
"Oh, I'm certainly not lost, don't worry about that," Felix replied, shaking his head. "I simply have some off time right now, and wanted to take a look around. See if anybody needed any assistance with anything. That's all."

Adara smiled at the mermaid as she caught her. She was about to ask the woman if she was alright. Before she could however the girl screamed and pushed her away. She signaled Edwin not to attack when she saw he had drawn his sword. She watched from her perch on the ground as the girl jumped back into the pool. she had wanted to comfort the girl but she'd dealt with various types of people long enough to know it would only make matters worse. She felt herself being lifted as Edwin silently came up from behind her and helped her to her feet.
Thank you, Edwin. I'm fine. I'm sure she's more frightened I was. I hope she'll be alright. She did seem very skittish.
My concern is for you. Adara, I don't want you getting hurt because you were kind to the wrong person. You know how special you are to me.
Adara smiled and stroked his cheek. Yes, I do, but Edwin I need to be able to help people when they need it.
Edwin nodded and just smiled at her. They walked back towards the road and continued on towards the nearest town.

Oona waited for a little bit. Slowly, she poked her head from the surface again, and looked around. No one. No one was there. She let out a sigh, and swam to the bank, and climbed out. She gained her land legs again, and started to learn how to walk again. She got the hang of it, and started to skip and run around the lake. It was lovely. Soon, she saw something, and was amazed. A daisy. She ran over and looked at it.
"It's so pretty!" she said, picking it, enfusing it with water magic, hence it never dying, and putting it in her hair. She looked around again, and gathered her things. "Okay...take two..." she said. "This time, if someone talks to me...don't abandon ship..." she said.

Arrissa looked up from the hug with a big smile on her face she had a friend a real friend one she hoped wouldn't judge her for existence thinking about the mans query she smiled and moved back smoothing out her dress as she did so Oh i do suppose a proper introduction is in order. Hello my name is Arrissa Titania and this is my pet muffin motioning to the voraped i am sorry for scaring you earlier i don't know much about selesnians and i don't have any friends, so Mr Gaius you would be my first friend and you to Mr Orion welcome to the swarms home the under city we have rot, rot and more rot also i have a winery which is what you almost crushed i must go check on the safe guard artifacts that i have around it to make sure that its not visible to the populous squeaking softly i dont want to be even more of a freak before starting to walk off in the direction of the farm from the inside of Orion oh Gaius would you like to see my farm?

Oh ya ride a big bir' do ya, well how sounds a leyline track race? Ay mon how bout it... You in ya fancy flyin' Roc an' me in dis here ol' buzzer. Slapping the side of his Hover craft... All we be doin' is surfin' along the mana leylines of each of these here guild districts until we come back here...We won' hur' nobody just fly through the air above them there leylines, most people ten' to be avoidin' them on accoun' of their bein' incredibly powerful magic sources, but that's why we use them to get a boost across the city.

In all honesty, Gaius wasn't entirely sure what he should be doing at the moment--he was about to reply to Arrissa, but then suddenly...

As the two Orzhov members approached from outside, Orion was watching them--and as soon as the angel touched him, the elemental let out a loud, warning groan--as if to tell Gaius that there were more people outside.

...And as Gaius heard Orion, he seemed confused--and concerned--he did a brisk walk to the entrance, peeking outside--only to see a knight, and an imposing angel with an even further-imposing wing span...
"Er...Arrissa...?" Gaius took Arrissa by the arm, stopping her from leaving Orion just yet, then pointing out the two newcomers to her. "Please tell me that you know them and they're friendly and won't get us in trouble--seriously--please--"
