He can soak up a lot of damage, and attract lots of attention, but its often very hard for him to hit his opponents.
Personality/Characteristics: Pugsy is a free-living, careless, but happy kid. Though not smart at all, his strength and endurance are almost superhuman due to a defect in his nervous system. Pugsy has a massive amount of respect for the boss of his gang: Ryder. This gets to the point where it seems like idol worship. Pugsy himself is a very selfless individual. He will do anything to protect and help others, especially his friends.
Tell me about yourself!: Aye! My name's Pugsy! I mean... seriously! It's on my birth certificate and everything! So... I dunno too much 'bout my earlier years... because I dont' remember much... being a baby and all. But I know I was raised by my single father! I never knew my mother though... ! So anyways, I was born with this weird defect in my nervous system, I can't feel pain, and my own body doesn't know its own limits. This gives me immense power and endurance, but just because my body doesn't know about something doesn't mean it doesn't happen... so because of that I end up hurting myself a lot... Like, I can pick up a car and throw it, but the bones in my arms will break right after... it sucks. Aye! Anyways... my father disappeared one night... so I ended up living on my own. I was already expelled from school at the time... but I met Big Bro right after! He's so awesome! My god! Like... like... I want to be him one day! He's that awesome! So I joined his gang... I'm their newest member! And it's awesome! I mean.. I haven't done much with them yet.. but I'll prove myself! Whatever the boss needs punching, I'll Punch!

He focuses on a good balance of both speed and power, and tries to vary up his fighting style during battle in order to confuse his opponents, since he knows that his moves can become predictable if he doesn't do so. Besides his fighting style, he also seems to be good at motivating his team, and giving them pep talks or speeches, even if he denies having this skill altogether.
Personality/Characteristics: Ryder has two distinct sides to himself--one which he shows to strangers, and one which he shows to friends. To strangers, he does his best to be serious and imposing--but this doesn't always work out as well as he'd like, unfortunately. Among friends, he is just the most awkward dorky thing ever. Ryder is fiercely loyal to his friends and allies, and would go to great lengths to protect them. Besides that, with friends, he's generally very amiable and easy to get along with. He's got just a little bit of a short temper, and gets embarrassed easily.
Tell me about yourself!: Stuff about me? Huh...well...I was born in what apparently used to be Maine a while back...I lived with my parents, and my little brother and little sister. We lived in a walled off community, and everything was all fine and dandy for a while. Around maybe...sophomore year of highschool, though, gang activity started springing up around town...and hell, I wasn't going to let those assholes hurt my family or friends. I dropped out of school once that year was over, and I started a community militia kinda thing. It was pretty small--started out with just me and my neighbor, Wynn. But soon enough, it grew in size--and it sort of ended up becoming a gang of its own, and I was the leader--and I still am. We're kind of busy now trying to push back other gangs and get rid of them--keep the peace and all, you know. Don't get me wrong--we'll go to any lengths to get rid of these guys. But we're the good guys in all of this. Don't get mixed up about that. We're out to help everyone--and we're not gonna stop until we do, whether that involves rolling heads or not.

-Was introduced to his current girlfriend, Arianna Thompson, by Wynn, and has been dating her for about a month now. Though they really haven't done much more than hold hands because Ryder is a weenie--

On the surface, Beaumont is fierce, assertive, calculative, and pugnacious. However, beneath this tough exterior, lies an even tougher interior. She possesses a strong loyalty and undying passion toward her comrades and duty as a Paladin Officer. She is idealistic and reckless to a fault - her offensive battle style meaning that she is always quick to initiate or rise to a challenge. She is extremely quick witted and impulsive, especially in heated situations. Beaumont is especially prone to sarcasm, but otherwise is typically good humored, with a slight tendency to be rather goofy and immature in good company. In front of criminals and superior officers, she tries her best to fit the 'Paladin' image, though occasionally falters. Previous traumatic events have made her particularly emotionally vulnerable and unstable -- making her incredibly dangerous. Her ruthlessness regarding criminals have made her pretty infamous inside and outside of Paladin. She is highly involved with her cause -- but her balant lack of regard for collateral damage when fighting crime has earned her the nickname the "Crusher of Justice" for the wrong reasons by the public.

Uh.. seriously? Me? I mean, that`s a lil weird -- but, sure. My name is Josephine Beaumont. I`ve heard it all -- Josie, Joephy, Fifi, `Sephine, Jojo -- but just Jo is alright. If know you, at least. Otherwise, it`s Officer Beaumont. Seriously. Okay -- so.. I`m from Scarlet City -- real nice place to raise a kid, right? My parents divorced when I was.. three, maybe. I was raised by my dad, mostly. He was a comic book artist and he kind of got my hooked when I was really little. I grew up with superheroes, action movies, James Bond (tiny smile) .. all that. My mom was an architect -- I say was because she actually passed away a few years ago. We lost her to disease. Anyway, I never had any real interest in school or anything.. so, I got into this okay college, which was kind of cool. When I graduated, I lived with my boyfriend - Claus - for a bit -- I worked as a lounge singer. Being on display in front of a bunch of guys old enough to my dad wasn`t really my forte, though. But, I mean.. my dream`s always been to work with Paladin. I just wanted to save lives. For as long as I can remember. So, as soon as the opportunity came up when I was around twenty -- I took it. Even if that meant calling off my wedding. Claus gets me, though. And we still talk and everything! It`s just.. I`ve got different goals. I can`t be kicking ass and taking care of some kid at the same time! Could you even imagine me? Some housewife? Ahah. So, I`ve been in Paladin training for the last couple of years. It`s been... (sigh) .. pretty tough. But, I`ve become so much better because of it! Can you see these muscles?! Incredible! I`ve been on a few missions already, but I haven`t gotten to the good stuff yet, I think. So, whatever, I got this assignment to take down some punk`s petty gang. To be honest, I`m a little offended! Regardless, I`ll.. do whatever it takes to bring those heretics to justice! Their crimes are completely unforgivable. .. I -- You can probably tell I`ve gotten pretty passionate about this stuff. It.. It`s just.. the scum on their souls is what makes them scream and curse my name..! But I know that by the way their bodies blacken and the muscles stiffen, with their mouths wide open… I know that in truth they're thanking me...! They`re thanking me for helping them repent!
I`ll fight `till my last breath to help every last piece of shit criminal on this earth does the same!

- Starting to get a bit hooked on cigars, ala her favorite superior officer back at headquarters.
- Was diagnosed with clinical depression at the age of seventeen. She`s been on anti-depressants since.
- Before beginning her Paladin training, she was engaged to a man named Claus Fleischer. However, on a whim during a conversation, they asked each other where they saw each other in five years. Upon realizing how different their answers were, they mutually agreed to call off the wedding and go their separate ways. Their close friendship is still intact and they contact each other frequently. She`s been trying to persuade him to take an opening with Paladin`s intelligence department, since the job would still give him time to pursue relationships and possibly start a family - but, he hasn`t really been swayed yet.
- Her mother passed away recently. Her remaining family is her father, her step-brother, and her two sisters.
- Don`t ask her about James Bond. She`s a huge movie buff, but has some very clear favorites.

Fighting style/Abilities: Wynn's fighting style revolves around his favorite weapon: knives. He's always carrying a large arsenal of knives on him at all times, which he hides inside his coat. Wynn is almost unnaturally fast, and is extremely agile from years of training to become like this. Tell me about yourself!: Well if you want me to tell about myself, well my name is Allen Tome and I love to talk about sports! It doesn't matter what type of sport it will be! All you need to know is that if like a certain sport then I will like it as well. My parents were always there for me when I needed them during school since no one wanted to be my friends in Middle School. I would usually get in trouble after school for getting into fights with the school bullies. It's not my fault! They would always pick on me and would occasionally gang up on me as well! Thats why I used chains to have the advantage on the long range while they're defenseless when I bring them in with my chains! After Middle School I thought that I wouldn't need to use my chains ever again. I met Ryder, out leader and saw him as a swell guy! We would have nice conversations and would talk about Baseball from time to time! It happened during my first week of Freshman year when misfortune struck again! My parents suddenly decided to leave me! I don't know why they would do that but then I noticed that the house was going to be evicted! I had no where else to go! That was when Ryder gave me a chance to join his gang. I didn't really know what kind of gang his was, but I took the opportunity and said yes since I had no other options! After joining with Ryder I was able to train and help myself build some muscle for hand to hand combat while still using my chain. This helped me increase on my duration of my stamina. Well after that I was able to save up money and I am now currently living in a apartment. Sure it's small, but I like it since I know that it's my responsibility whether I can live in there or not, not my parents. You just have to make sure to never betray me or lie to me. I can't take that. My mind just starts to freak out and I'll go into a panic attack before going ballistic on anyone! I had to be stopped once by my friends when I learned that my parents only wanted me for welfare! I mean that was just messed up! How could they just send me a letter that I would find at school for them to tell me the truth! Well atleast now I know that if I ever see them again, I won't have any sincerity towards them. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I also have a pet at home! It's a small pug but I love him! I even named him Pu-Pu! If anything were to happen to him, well I don't know what would happen to me. Embry's Theme - History of the Future
Fighting style/Abilities:
Embry's most notable ability--the one that earned him his codename--is his exceedingly good skills with stealth. He seems to have the ability to figuratively sink into the shadows--and when he's sneaking around somewhere, he's got a near-perfect record of never getting caught. Along with his skills with stealth, he's also very good at tracking people's movements, and calculating their intent. When it comes to combat, Embry is most definitely focused on speed, and is the flightiest dodging little shit to ever exist ever--As far as weapons go, Embry has a set of laser-daggers--ten of them, all stored in separate carrying cases on his belt--five in each case--which he'll most often use as throwing knives. However, when the need arises, they can be used as close-combat tools. He's in extremely good shape, and is quite the acrobat, to boot--gymnastics and everything that go with them really seem to be no problem for him. Lastly, he seems to possess a calm demeanor, even in battle--he never seems to panic--which benefits him greatly in many situations.
Personality/Characteristics:
Embry, in general, is a laid-back and calm person. He's got a friendly personality, and doesn't seem to have trouble talking to strangers or introducing himself to new people. He tends to be lighthearted, and tries to look on the bright side in non-serious situations--but he is realistic and sensible about things. People sometimes think that he's not serious about his job because of his lighthearted demeanor, but he's actually very serious about his position with Paladin. He's determined to do well in his position, and always seems to bring in good results to his superiors. He holds himself to higher expectations than he does others--and he's hard on himself when he doesn't meet his own expectations. Generally, if he's got some sort of problem, emotional or otherwise, he won't share it with others--not even his closest friends--unless they spend some time convincing him. He's convinced himself that his problems aren't worth the time of others--so, he simply doesn't bring them up, and tends to bottle up any negative feelings in exchange for the pleasant personality he usually has. He tends to be a bit competitive sometimes--and while he doesn't seem to get very upset if he loses, the one thing that he hates more than anything is being known as second-best, because of how hard he is on himself to be good at everything he tries. On the positive side, he's a very loyal friend, and always does his best for them. Whenever he sees a friend in need, whether in combat or in day-to-day situations, he'll do all he can to give them a hand. He doesn't like seeing his friends get hurt, and honestly, if given the option--he would honestly sacrifice his life for a close friend's, if need be.

Why, hello there! I'm Embry, and--well, you want to hear about me? Well, let's see...I've been working with Paladin for a few years now--I used to be over in the branch in Britain, but I was transferred over here more recently. Luckily, I brought a good reputation with me, so I haven't really had any trouble fitting in with the other officers here. I've even made a few friends! Can you believe it? I never thought that I would be such a social butterfly as this! Anyway...I work in special operations--many different sorts of things--espionage, reconnaissance, many different kinds of missions--and I always put my utmost effort into my job! I love working with Paladin, and I'd really hate to let them down. I've trained for years for this job, after all. Oh! But--besides that--I'm honestly a pretty average guy. I don't want to get any more recognition than I'm actually worth, you know? But anyway...nothing brings me more joy than being able to help bring order back to the world, alongside everyone else in Paladin. It really feels nice, knowing that I can work towards a greater cause. Hm? Oh, you want to know about more personal-life things...? Honestly, there isn't much--my family is back overseas, and I live by myself here. Oh, it's not so bad. It gets a bit lonely from time to time, but it hardly matters. In fact, I believe that I'm going to get to spend a bit more time with my friends over in Paladin, now--we recently got a new assignment and all, after all. While it'll hardly be all fun and games, being able to be out and about doing something productive with friends is always fun! Even if it is making arrests. And stuff like that--my friends and I can rely on each other, you see. And well--as long as I'm with them, I'm perfectly certain that everything will turn out just fine.
Notes/Extra:
-His glasses in fact work as both a database and a camera--they're remotely controlled through a chip that he had installed in his head. The glasses, on top of that, actually in fact do help him to see. He keeps all sorts of data in those glasses--information about important leaders, weapons, other Paladin officers--the works. The camera on the glasses is mostly used for reconnaissance, and the glasses can store up to ten photos at a time. When reading info from the glasses' database, the documents will display on the inside of the glasses' lenses, as things would display on a computer monitor.
-Obviously, because he's from Britain, he's got a prominent British accent when he speaks.
-He's always carrying a small first-aid kit with him--just in case. He keeps it in his bag, which he always brings with him almost everywhere he goes. He's actually pretty good with first aid, and can patch up minor injuries.

Fighting style/Abilities: Mila's physical fighting abilities are primarily found in her stealth and dexterity. Mila is very light and is able to use this to her advantage besting her opponents in speed. This speed extending to her ability to draw and use weapons, primarily guns and occasionally swords. She is fairly skilled in street fighting, particularly when she has the time to wear down her opponents.
Her other abilities come from her various cybernetics. There is a cybernetic in one of Mila's eye that focuses in similar to a scope, as well as one in her arm that can serve as a gun. As well as small enhancements elsewhere, primarily in her legs, to help boost her speed a touch and allow her to walk at all. When fighting with her cybernetics, Mila tends to use her speed to its fullest, synchronizing her eye, arm, and leg cybernetics.

Mila is also a very analytical person. She is capable of staying in one place and trying to figure out what is going on if she knows it is important. When she considers something important and worth doing, generally she is very committed to seeing it through.

One day in high school these girl found out I have cybernetics in most parts of my body, so they started calling me Doll and talking about how I could break and stuff like that. Looking back they were actually really stupid. Anyone who knows anything about cybernetics knows they're near impossible to break! But I liked the name. I like remembering I have them, because I couldn't do much before them. So jokes on them really! But anyway after I had my first cybernetics placed in my legs, I was actually able to see the world. My parents had an insane amount of money so they'd done their best to keep me from all of the bad things in life. That's why I was able to get cybernetics! So after I was able to actually see how things were, I wanted to make things better. There was so much good that could be done, even just in my hometown, so I joined Ryder's gang while they were traveling through... No we don't hurt people. As a gang, we help keep people safe and we are going to keep doing that until things finally get better. I don't care how certain people view us. They aren't the ones who matter. The ones who suffer do and they quite appreciate our work. My parents died a while ago. They don't have an opinion on this and they probably would be proud of me. they were good people.. I wanted the cybernetics! They weren't forced on me, definitely not by my parents, so I don't know what you mean by "turned into a half metal freak." I like the way I am! I do a lot of good this way and I need to go. I've been here too long already! [exits brimming with energy]
